Planet Hollywood’s $100 Million Entertainment Hub Declares War on Times Square Tourist Traps
Times Square hasn't been cool since the Flavortown set up shop, but Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is betting $100 million that he can change that. On March 24, Jackson and Planet Hollywood’s Robert Earlannounced PH Live, an entertainment hub taking over the brand's flagship NYC location.
50 Cent plans to import the blueprint from his $15 million Las Vegas residency and drop it into the middle of Manhattan. The venue is being gutted and refitted with an immersive LED system designed to flip the space from a daytime restaurant into a high-stakes event hub for pop-up concerts and movie premieres in seconds.
The investment targets the one thing Times Square the pair feels it lacks: exclusivity. The programming at PH Live is designed to be a celebrity magnet, shifting away from the tourist-heavy model Planet Hollywood is known for.
The PH Live Times Square Location will feature:
- Surprise Performance Hub: The venue will serve as a home base for unannounced sets from 50 Cent and his A-list circle.
- The G-Unit Pipeline: It will act as the primary site for 50's film and television premieres, turning his Instagram feed into a physical clubhouse.
- Private Membership: A tiered invitation-only program is in development, offering priority reservations and access to events that aren't open to the general public.
"This is about creating the ultimate entertainment destination," Jackson said. "Planet Hollywood has always been connected to pop culture, and PH Live takes that energy to the next level—a place where music, film, sports and nightlife collide."
The rap mogul is also taking over the kitchen. The menu will feature his personal staples: signature sweet chili shrimp with mashed potatoes, a steak-and-mac combo, and a burger with a signature house sauce. The space will be lined with his personal memorabilia and digital highlights from his film career. The result is a space that feels more like a private clubhouse than a tourist trap.
View this post on InstagramEarl isn't looking at the New York installation as a one-off. The plan is to scale PH Live globally, with the next location already earmarked for Shreveport. It’s a calculated move; Jackson is finalizing a $124 million deal to build a production studio and entertainment district in the Louisiana city.
By putting $100 million on the table, 50 Cent is gambling on the idea that New Yorkers will return to Times Square if the right gatekeeper is at the door in a place where the music, the movies, and the industry meet.
'Dancing With the Stars' Fan Favorite to Host New 'American Idol' Companion Podcast
Television has become overrun with a wide variety of competition shows, one could argue. But for nearly 25 years, American Idol has been there for viewers.
And now, the hit music series is expanding its whopping 24th season with a new companion podcast. It was only a matter of time before the franchise entered this ever-popular space.
And Idol has arguably nabbed the perfect host for its new platform. American Idol Official Podcast will be emceed by Boy Meets World and Dancing With the Stars alum Danielle Fishel, and will “dive deeper into America’s most iconic music competition series, exploring the performances everyone’s talking about, and offering exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes insights, and expert analysis of the judges’ critiques," Variety reports.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/24t2PHLq250
The podcast will premiere on April 1, on Disney+, Hulu, and other podcast platforms, following the live shows, which begin March 30, Variety also noted on Monday, March 24.
American Idol returned for season 24 (its ninth on ABC) in January with its most-watched premiere in four years with an average of 8.27 million viewers in live+3 and multiplatform viewing, according to Variety.
Fishel, 44, who fans might know best as "Topanga," later reprised her throwback ABC role in Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World alongside Ben Savage and has been part of the Disney family for decades. She also serves as co-host of the “Teen Beat” podcast and “Pod Meets World” with fellow Boy Meets World stars Rider Strong and Will Friedle.
And DWTS fans know Fishel recently competed on the hit reality show, and she took time to open up to Parade exclusively about her experience.
“Dancing with the Starswas the first on-camera job I had done in a long time, almost a decade, and I was nervous,” Fishel said. “I didn’t know if I was going to enjoy it, and I just loved it. And the way my fans and the people who’ve always been there for me showed up to support me, I’ll never forget. It was week after week, seeing the comments and reading the Reddit posts, getting the emails, everyone was so supportive."
This Is Hands-Down the Best Pizza In NYC— And I Will Not Be Arguing With Anyone On It
Moving to New York City was an absolute whirlwind. My then-boyfriend (now husband) and I were just starting out in our editorial careers as two kids in Philadelphia. New York was the place to be when it came to establishing a career in journalism. After two years of post-graduate struggling, he finally got an offer to be a full-timer. The catch? We had four weeks to find a place and make it happen.
We were in for a rude awakening. We searched dozens of apartments throughout Manhattan and quickly realized our budget was a lot tighter than we thought. After several depressing viewings, we took a 45-minute train ride from Manhattan to a quieter part of Brooklyn called Midwood, just a few stops away from Coney Island. It was roomy, it was affordable, and we decided it was worth the long commute.

The area was wildly quiet for a Saturday—which we would later learn was because it’s a predominantly Hasidic neighborhood—save for one place on Avenue J: Di Fara Pizza. The line wrapped around the block for this hole-in-the-wall takeout spot, so naturally, we had to check it out.
We stood in line for at least 30 minutes, but once we got to the door, we immediately understood the hype. At the front of the shop stood an older man, carefully snipping basil leaves onto a pie with zero rush despite the long line. He meticulously placed a giant pie into the oven as workers buzzed around him. When we finally reached the counter, we ordered two plain slices and paid a whopping $5 each (at the time)—and they were the size of our heads.

Moments later, after sprinkling Parmesan cheese on mine and red pepper flakes on my husband’s, we took our first bite and melted into what can only be described as pizza heaven.
The crust? Perfectly crispy. The sauce? Sweet but earthy, pulling forward that fresh basil flavor. And the cheese was just right—not too gooey, not too charred. It was worth every minute in line and every dollar spent. And I’m certainly not the only one who feels that way.
Di Fara Pizza's Interesting HistoryThe first pie was baked in that very corner shop in 1965 by Dom DeMarco—the same man we watched snipping basil over pies—according to Eater. He immigrated from Italy in 1959 and quickly developed a method for perfecting his pizzas. The basil, the hand-sliced pepperoni, the use of top-tier San Marzano tomatoes, the hand-grated cheese—it’s all part of the magic behind Di Fara.
@revealedbyricky@difaranyc 🇮🇹 Midwood Brooklyn. Corner of 15th and Avenue J. No neon signs. No shortcuts. Just legacy. Since 1965, this family-run shop has been quietly making some of the best pies in NYC—same oven, same family, same devotion. It all started with Domenico DeMarco, who immigrated from Caserta, Italy, and opened this spot with his brother. Dom made every pie by hand for decades—until his passing in 2022. Today, the DeMarco family carries on the tradition with the same care, the same ingredients, the same heat. Special shoutout to Dom’s son @imharrydemarco for the upmost respect and taking the time to tell the story of this extraordinary establishment. The best customer service and pizza and human can get. Thank you. This is what a lifetime of doing one thing the right way looks like. #DiFara #NYCPizza #Midwood #BrooklynEats #PizzaLegacy
♬ original sound - revealedbyricky“Pizza has become a fast food. My pizza is slow food. And if I made it fast, it wouldn’t be any good,” DeMarco toldThe New York Times in 2005.
In 2011, the shop temporarily shut down due to multiple health code violations, but reopened later that year—and the lines returned like they had never left. DeMarco sadly passed away in 2022 at the age of 85, but his children continue to carry on his legacy. They’ve even expanded into frozen pizzas you can enjoy at home—but for the real deal, it’s absolutely worth the trip to this tucked-away corner of Brooklyn.
Zac Brown and Margaritaville at Sea Are Looking for Their Next Big Star
If you’ve ever dreamed of taking your music from the local pub to the open ocean, your "Same Boat" has finally arrived. Margaritaville at Sea just announced a massive talent search to find the founding performers for their newest, most intimate music venue—and they’re heading straight to the heart of Nashville to find them.
The venue, aptly named "Same Boat," is a collaboration with three-time GRAMMY winner Zac Brown. Set to debut on the line’s upcoming flagship, the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, the space is designed to ditch the flashy Broadway-style productions in favor of authentic, acoustic-driven storytelling and "island-cool" energy.
Margaritaville at Sea
Whether you're a solo act, a duo, or a full band, the cruise line is officially casting a wide net for talent. Here is the play-by-play on how to audition:
- Virtual Submissions: You can submit your performance videos right now via email to livemusic@margaritaville.com or through their official showcase site.
- The Nashville Call: A select group of performers will be invited to live auditions at the Margaritaville Hotel in Nashville from May 12–15.
- The "Last Chance" Open Call: If you don't get an invite, don't panic. There is a final-day open casting call on May 16 at the Margaritaville Restaurant on Broadway.
What makes this gig unique—aside from working with a country music legend—is the flexibility. Unlike traditional 6-month cruise contracts that can feel like a lifetime away from home, these roles offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly rotations.
"We’re creating a stage that will bring rising talent to Beachcomber," says Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea. It’s a chance for artists to build a following among a captive audience while sailing some of the most beautiful waters in the world.
Launching from PortMiami in 2027, the Beachcomber will be the largest vessel in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet. While the line is known for its quick 2-night "micro-vacations," this new ship is pivoting toward longer 4- to 8-night escapes through the Eastern and Southern Caribbean.
Along with the "Same Boat" venue, guests can expect 15 brand-new concepts that lean into that "no passport required" state of mind.
Tyler Cameron Is Taking You Home—Literally
ICYMI: Taylor Frankie Paul has The Bachelorette making headlines these days, but it’s Tyler Cameron who is stealing the spotlight. The Season 15 runner-up on The Bachelorette has built a career out of being, well, Tyler Cameron—the guy who almost got the girl.
After Hannah Brown famously chose Jed Wyatt (who, in hindsight, might have been hiding more than just a fake girlfriend), Tyler became a tabloid regular. We’re talking high-profile romances, a brief fling with Gigi Hadid and the occasional Bachelor Nation cameo. While the world obsessed over who was dating who, Tyler was quietly building something more lasting down south. And no, this wasn’t for a hometown date. Or was it?
View this post on InstagramBack in Jupiter, Florida, Tyler returned to the grind he knew long before ABC cameras came calling, running a construction company, renovating homes and mastering the ins and outs of the trade. That hands-on experience eventually became his Amazon Prime series Going Home with Tyler Cameron, in which he restored local houses while also taking on the emotional challenge of fixing up his late mother’s home. It wasn’t a reinvention; it was a continuation of what he had always done, just now with cameras and a little extra heart.
While Cameron was busy making old homes new again, he was also planning his next move. A breakfast meeting with real estate mogul Ryan Serhant turned into a real opportunity when Serhant encouraged him to get his real estate license. Fast forward, and Cameron joined SERHANT.’s Jupiter office, putting his construction expertise to work in a new way. At the same time, he and his girlfriend, Tate Madden, found time to renovate a house of their own, blending their love of design, attention to craftsmanship, and a waterfront view that feels like a Bachelor fantasy in real life.
View this post on InstagramNow, the 33-year-old is stepping up his game with Ancora, his first ground-up development and the first of its kind on Hutchinson Island, a secluded stretch just north of Jupiter. While much of coastal Florida is being eaten up by luxury condos and high-rises, Hutchinson Island has remained a rare, relatively untouched gem.
View this post on InstagramAncora is set to change that, introducing a collection of sleek duplex-style townhomes perched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. Beach on one side, boat dock on the other, it’s the kind of setup most reality shows would kill for. (Or at least, one that we would!)
Each home offers a generous 3,100 square feet, with four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a private elevator—because let’s face it, who really wants to climb stairs when your living room already feels like a retreat? Imagine waking up, stepping onto your sundeck with a coffee in hand and watching the sky light up in jaw-dropping sunset colors.
The clubhouse and pool are perfect for weekend get-togethers, morning laps or just lounging while pretending work emails don’t exist. Honestly, living here might make “calling in sick” a full-time hobby—and we wouldn’t blame you.
Meaning, if you’re already planning to make an offer, we’ve got you covered. Of the 24 available units, prices start at $1.75 million, with groundbreaking, when construction officially kicks off, slated for April, the model residence, where you can walk through a fully staged home before committing, ready by January 2027, and first deliveries, when the homes are completed and ready to move into, expected in March 2027.
TL;DR: You might want to get a move on if you’re looking to place a bid, and it does sound pretty good, especially for Tyler Cameron, whose next career chapter might be his least dramatic yet most impressive season. No roses required.
McCormick Drops ‘Can’t-Miss’ New Sugar and Seasoning Flavors
McCormick is doubling down on a declaration it made earlier this year, with not one but two all-new sugar and seasonings.
The pantry staple brand started 2026 by declaring Black Currant as its Flavor of the Year, and now the company is making the tart yet sweet berry more accessible than before, bringing the typically hard-to-find fruit (at least here in the U.S.) straight to the baking aisle.
On Tuesday, McCormick revealed it's launching an all-new black currant-flavored seasoning and a matching finishing sugar, because the flavor really is just that versatile.
"We named Black Currant our 2026 Flavor of the Year because we see its power to transform both sweet and savory cooking," Tabata Gomez, chief marketing and growth officer at McCormick, shared in a March 24 press release. "Now, that vision is coming to life through innovative new products and a can’t-miss, experiential dining experience. This isn’t about following trends – it’s about experiencing the future of flavor in ways everyone can enjoy."

"Black Currant may be small, but its tangy-sweet, nuanced flavor brings depth to any dish, empowering cooks to experiment and experience flavor in entirely new ways."
The new black currant-inspired product joins McCormick's growing line of Finishing Sugars, which includes Bridgerton-themed flavors like Strawberries & Cream, Lavender Vanilla, and Sweet Lemon; Chocolate Hazelnut, Spiced Orange, Butterbeer, as well as seasonal flavors like Apple Cider, Maple Brown Sugar and Pumpkin Spice for fall and Candy Cane, English Toffee, White Frosting, Salted Caramel, Hot Cocoa, and Gingerbread Spice during the winter.

Sheriff’s Former Boss Shares Grim Theory in Nancy Guthrie Case, Says Suspects Have ‘Nothing With Which to Bargain’
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos' former boss, Rick Kastigar, recently spoke with Brian Entin about the Nancy Guthrie case. In that interview, Kastigar explained what he believes happened to Guthrie, 84, who was abducted from her Arizona home in the overnight hours of Feb. 1.
Kastigar said he believes multiple people were involved in the kidnapping and he wouldn't be surprised if Guthrie was taken to Mexico, with the intent of getting her the medication that she needed to keep her alive in order to bargain with the family, likely for financial gain.
However, as the weeks have gone by, Kastigar believes that Guthrie has died.
"What would prevent an individual who had planned this out—to the level that I think he did—from going into Mexico and harboring her someplace in Mexico where, theoretically, they could deal with her medical issues," Kastigar told Entin. "I believe that she passed somehow, that she died somehow, while that plan may have been attempted. And I believe that negated their opportunity to get what they wanted from the family. A lot of us think it's money—and that very well may be."
Kastigar pointed out that the Guthrie family has made statements about wanting Guthrie home, but they haven't specified that they want her home "alive."
"My theory is that she's passed. My theory is that they have nothing—they being the perpetrators—really have nothing with which to bargain any further and what they may have done with her, I don't know," he added.
Investigators are continuing to pursue leads in the search for Guthrie. However, no suspects have been identified, and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Announce Scripted Netflix Project Amid Strained Relationship
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have carved out a new deal with Netflix to produce a polo-themed scripted drama, hot on the heels of rumours about a rocky relationship with the streamer.
According to Deadline, the currently untitled project, billed as the “upstairs-downstairs” drama, will be set in the high-flying equestrian town of Wellington, revolving around “the messy dynamics between two rival teams and the families that lead them.” It is considered to widen the scope of the elitist “king of sport” beyond rich owners and players.

The show will take inspiration from Netflix’s 2024 flop docuseries and Prince Harry’s “passion project”, Polo, which followed the glamorous world of polo and showcased the teams competing at the U.S. Open Polo Championship held in Wellington.
Written by Francisca X. Hu (Peacock’s Teacup), the new project will come from the couple’s Archewell Productions and Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's Fake Empire, under their Netflix deal.
What happened between Netflix and the royal couple?A week ago, Variety sparked rumours of tension between Netflix and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Netflix’s divestment from Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, only made the matter worse. But Netflix’s executive, Bela Bajaria, quickly hushed the rumours, saying, “Don't believe whatever you read. Maybe we should all do a little fact-checking.”
Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how this new series fares among fans who haven’t watched anything as interesting as Netflix 2022’s docuseries Harry & Meghan from the couple, which logged as the streamer's most-watched docuseries debut.

In an interview with TMZ Live, Ronnie Taylor revealed it began on Saturday morning when he first heard the incessant motorcycle revving throughout his residential neighbourhood. Taking the stand and unaware of who the rider was, Taylor requested the man, “‘Can you slow it down please?’”
Taylor said the altercation escalated the next day while he was cleaning his bike outside, and he heard the revving noises again. “He rode past once, twice. On the second time, I walked outside in front of him and said, ‘You've got to stop,’” he recounted. Ritchson allegedly came roaring down the block and “kicked the crap” out of him.
TMZ reports that sources close to Ritchson claim Taylor “initiated and instigated” the confrontation. “I'm an experienced motorcycle rider. I've been riding for most of my life," Taylor explained on the video.
Police officers in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood, Tennessee, are currently investigating the alleged assault, with no arrest made yet.

Bridgerton Season 5 Announces Francesca and Michaela As Leads, Production Underway
There is always something magical about stepping back into the world of Bridgerton, a place where emotions feel bigger, glances say more than words, and love rarely follows a straight path. Season 4 turned out to be different than its predecessors, and received a lot of praise for its storytelling. However, it is time for fans to move forward because the story is moving forward too, and this time, it’s bringing a quieter, more intimate kind of romance into focus. Netflix has confirmed that Season 5 is officially happening, and work on the new installment has already begun. Instead of revisiting familiar dynamics, the show is choosing to slow things down and explore a different emotional space through Francesca Bridgerton’s journey.
Yes, you heard it right. Season 5 of the Netflix series will focus on Francesca, played by Hannah Dodd, and Michaela, played by Masali Baduza. Francesca has always felt a little distant from the noise around her. While her siblings often find themselves caught up in dramatic love stories, she has been more reserved, more inward. That changes now. Her life has already been marked by loss after her husband John passed away, and she’s left trying to figure out what comes next.
As per Netflix, the fifth installment of Bridgertonwill consist of 8 episodes, just like the previous editions. The official logline for Season 5 reads, "The fifth season of Bridgerton spotlights introverted middle daughter Francesca (Hannah Dodd). Two years after losing her beloved husband, John, Fran decides to reenter the marriage mart for practical reasons. But when John’s cousin Michaela (Masali Baduza) returns to London to tend to the Kilmartin estate, Fran’s complicated feelings will have her questioning whether to stick to her pragmatic intentions or pursue her inner passions."
Jess Brownell returns as the showrunner, while the series continues under the creative vision of Shonda Rhimes. Filming is taking place in London
In Season 4, after the death of her husband, Francesca returns to society, considering marriage again. It all feels like something she should do rather than something she truly wants. But things begin to shift when Michaela Stirling enters the picture. She is connected to Francesca’s past in a deeply personal way, but she also brings a new kind of energy into her life. Michaela appears confident and lively, yet there is a sense that she keeps her guard up, especially when things start to feel too real.
As the two spend time together, their bond grows in a way that feels both natural and complicated. Francesca begins to question herself, her choices, her feelings, and the life she thought she was supposed to live. Michaela, too, finds herself unable to run from emotions she would rather avoid.

What starts as familiarity slowly turns into something deeper. This season seems less about grand gestures and more about what happens in the quiet moments. The connection between Francesca and Michaela is not rushed. Instead, it builds slowly, giving their story a different texture from what fans have seen before.
Over the years, Bridgerton has become more than just a popular show. It has found a place in everyday conversations, fashion trends, and even in how people talk about on-screen love stories. With Season 5, it feels like the show is trying something slightly different: something softer, but just as meaningful.
Francesca and Michaela’s story may not be loud, but it looks like it will stay with viewers in a deeper way. And sometimes, those are the stories that matter the most.
As of now, no release date has been announced for Bridgerton Season 5.

‘Trapper John, M.D.’ Actress Died After Collapsing at the Oscars 40 Years Ago Today
Sarah Cunningham, an actress known for her roles on Trapper John, M.D. and Dallas, died on March 24, 1986, after she collapsed at the Oscars. She was 67.
Cunningham suffered a fatal asthmatic attack while attending the Academy Awards in Los Angeles, according to her New York Times obituary.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Cunningham collapsed at the Oscars and was rushed to nearby Queen of Angels Hospital, where she died an hour later. Her memorial service was held at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in Hollywood.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina, in September 1918, Cunningham moved to New York after graduating from Furman University. She studied acting with Stella Adler and eventually taught other students too. At Adler’s acting classes, Cunningham met John Randolph, whom she married in 1942.
Along with Randolph, Cunningham was a founding member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York City in 1968. The pair often starred in its stage productions together. At the time of her death, Cunningham was serving as the board chairman of the Los Angeles company, which was formed in 1980.
Cunningham also acted in Broadway productions of The Visit, Fair Game and Toys in the Attic.
Outside of the theater world, Cunningham was known for her television credits. She notably appeared as Nurse Andrews on 30 episodes of the CBS medical drama Trapper John, M.D. during seasons 4 through 7, which aired from 1982 to 1986. (The M*A*S*H spinoff starring Pernell Roberts as the titular doctor ran for seven seasons from 1979 to 1986.)
On the CBS primetime soap opera Dallas, Cunningham had a recurring role as Aunt Maggie Monahan, the sister of Digger Barnes (portrayed by David Wayne, Keenan Wynn and David Marshall Grant throughout the show’s run). She appeared in five episodes, guest-starring during season 2 in 1978, season 3 in 1980 and season 8 in 1984. (Dallas, starring Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Victoria Principal and more, aired for 14 seasons from 1978 to 1991.)
Throughout her career in television, Cunningham also appeared on episodes of The Wild World of Mystery, Baretta, The Rookies, Starsky and Hutch, Police Woman, How the West Was Won and Vegas.
Cunningham’s film credits included 1972’s The Cowboys, 1977’s I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, 1982’s Frances and 1985’s Jagged Edge.
Cunningham was survived by her husband and their two children: daughter Martha and son Harrison.
The 1986 Academy Awards were hosted by Alan Alda, Jane Fonda and Robin Williams at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. Out of Africa won the most awards at the ceremony, with seven trophies including Best Picture. Other notable winners at the 58th Oscars were William Hurt for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Kiss of the Spider Woman, Geraldine Page for Best Actress in a Leading Role for The Trip to Bountiful, Don Ameche for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Cocoon and Anjelica Huston for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Prizzi’s Honor.
‘90s Rock Icon’s Shocking Confession Causes a Stir
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea is best known for his powerful riffs and high-energy performances but even an icon like him has been carrying a deeply personal secret.
The ‘90s rock star surprised fans when he delivered a shocking confession during his guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The 63-year-old musician stole the show the moment he entered the room, walking upside down, proving that there is no barrier to his legendary energy.
Looking dapper in his casual suit and sneakers, he revealed a recent head injury, which explained the bandage on his head.
“It was a bazaar peeing accident,” he said, adding that it was a radio show for Apple Music.
During the short break, he revealed that he only had three minutes for a personal break before the show went on air again.

However, because of the limited time he had to go to the bathroom, he went on a full sprint to the hallway and accidentally hit the door.
“Smack into the glass door, flat on my back, blood spurting out on my head,” he detailed. “I’m lying there and I’m going, ‘Oh man, I gotta do the Fallon show in a few days.’”
Instead of letting it shame him, he transformed embarrassment into an unexpected, powerful moment of honesty.
“But strangely enough, this is not my first peeing accident,” he admitted, adding, “I peed the bed till I was 11 or 12 years old. Caused me no shortage of embarrassment, but…I just wanna let you know all of you out there in TV land, all you bedwetters, I am one of you. You are not alone. I know what it's like to sleep over at someone’s house and you peed the bed and you wake up in a sea of urine.”
View this post on InstagramFlea’s hilarious confession drew cheers from fans online, many of whom praised his quick and clever humor.
“This is exactly why we love FLEAAA,” one wrote.
“How can you not love this guy????” a commenter said.
“Lol, I love Flea,” a fan agreed.
Another asked, saying, “How can you not love this guy????”
“Protect Flea at all costs,” a commenter added.
“Support your local freak!” said one follower.
In addition to this, fans also compared him to the late martial artist and cultural icon Chuck Norris.
“Flea is the new Chuck Norris,” an Instagram user said.
The same goes for another commenter who remarked, “Chuck Norris prayed to be reincarnated as Flea.”
Although Flea is still with Red Hot Chili Peppers, he is exploring things outside the band, but instead of focusing on rock music, he is pursuing his first love – jazz music.
The musician is set to release his debut solo studio album, Honora. Scheduled for March 27, the album is a jazz-focused project where the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer plays trumpet and bass.
Flea also teamed up with British musician and Radiohead’s frontman, Thom Yorke, Nick Cave of the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and a backing band of jazz musicians.

Most Stressful US Airports 2026: New Data Exposes the Fragility of US Aviation Amid the LaGuardia Runway Investigation
Sunday’s runway tragedy at LaGuardia has done more than just halt traffic in Queens; it has exposed the dangerously thin margins of a U.S. aviation system that was already under stress. As NTSB investigators piece together the technical failures behind the collision between Air Canada Flight AC8646 and a firefighting vehicle, travelers elsewhere are facing a different kind of frustration, a new March 2026 report found: American travelers are stressed by unreliable and unpredictable airport experiences. Leading the list is Newark Liberty International, which has earned a "Stress Score" of 99 out of 100.
For the modern traveler, these aren't just statistics—they’re a reality check on a standard of service that has largely collapsed. At Newark, only 70.3% of flights manage to push back on time, and a 2.4-star Yelp rating confirms that passengers are fed up.
The frustration isn’t limited to Newark: there is turmoil at the nation’s primary hubs:
- San Diego International now has the title of the most crowded airport in the country, packing 19,000 people into every acre. What’s more, construction has severed the walkways between Terminals 1 and 2, leaving those with tight connections in a constant scramble.
- Orlando International has become the capital of the lost suitcase. Between 20,300 monthly searches for "lost and found" and a 25% delay rate, the friction for families and tourists is relentless.
- Logan International in Boston owns the slowest security in the U.S. You’ll wait nearly 20 minutes in line just to reach a gate where 27% of the flights are already behind schedule.
- Miami International is suffering from the same reputation as Newark, sporting a 2.5-star reputation and a baggage system that fails 16,000 people a year.
The sting of a ruined trip is made worse by the fact that, legally, you’re often on your own. A spokesperson from Good Guys Injury Law pointed out that American travelers are frequently shocked to learn how thin their legal safety net is compared to those in Europe. In the U.S., airlines aren't legally required to pay for delays unless the cause is strictly within the carrier's control. In this climate, knowing the fine print on refunds and rebooking isn't just helpful—it’s the only real defense a passenger has.
With the industry focused on recovery and safety protocols this week, the study results suggest that a smart strategy for passengers may be to bypass major international hubs in favor of quieter regional alternatives.
Lindsay Hubbard Shades Dara Levitan as ‘Fame’-Hungry, Says KJ Dillard Is in It for ‘Love’
He loves her, she loves... fame? According to Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard, the newest Bravo couple, KJ Dillard and Dara Levitan, may be on the series for very different reasons.
While not taking a direct jab at their relationship, Lindsay, along with some of her Summer House castmates, made the spicy observation on aFirst We Feast short about the motivations behind the couple's appearances on the series, saying KJ is on the show for "love," while Dara was there for "fame."
Cue the gasps. "She said it, not me," Bailey Taylor, who read the question, added. The comments section also "gasped" with most commenters disagreeing with Lindsay's assertion about Dara. "I’m not understanding the Dara hate I’ve seen lately, it’s so weird. Here for fame is definitely West btw like come onnn," one person wrote. Another commented that "Dara is an absolute class act, I’m not understanding. also I followed her way before SH."
View this post on InstagramMeanwhile, KJ was wrestling with an atomic-ignited wing as the group moved on to the next question.
Dara sat in the audience when KJ appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, and laughed during the fan poll question asking if the couple moved too fast last summer. Approximately 84 percent of fans didn't think KJ and Dara moved too fast on their romance. The couple is still together, with KJ confirming their relationship has been going strong since last summer.
During the same show, a fan pointed out that Dara said in an interview that KJ was "a man written by a woman" and wondered what advice he might have for some of the "f" boys in the house.
"I learned so much from women. I was raised by all women. My grandma, my mom, my aunt," he said. "They just instilled in me so much morals and how to treat women. And I think a lot of men lack that and that's unfortunate ...like toxic masculinity ain't it."
Summer House is on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
Firefly's Revival Was Hiding in an Alan Tudyk Podcast 8 Months Before Fillion Knocked on a Single Door
Last July, Alan Tudyk sat down with Katie Sackhoff on The Sackoff Show and said, flatly, that Fireflywas coming back. Not maybe. Not hopefully. Back.
'I don't think that Firefly has had its last season,' he told her. 'That's right. I said it.'
Then he described a piece of fan fiction that Nathan Fillion had shown him years earlier. A stranger lands on a desolate moon and knocks on the door of a shack. Mal Reynolds opens it. The visitor just says 'you're needed,' Tudyk told Sackhoff. And Mal responds simply 'okay.'
Eight months later, Nathan Fillion made it literal, but in reverse.
Fillion launched a month-long social media campaign through the Once We Were Spacemen Instagram account, showing up at castmates' doors one by one. Gina Torres opened her door and asked 'Does this mean it's time?' Fillion told her it did. Equally cryptic videos with Morena Baccarin, Sean Maher, Summer Glau, Jewel Staite, and Adam Baldwin followed. Tudyk was last. Fillion looked at him and said, 'I'm not going to do this without you.' Tudyk responded simply 'Oh.' Then Fillion added 'so, are you in?' He was.
On March 15 at AwesomeCon in Washington, D.C., during a live taping of the Once We Were Spacemen podcast, Fillion announced that an animated Firefly series is in development through his production company Collision33, in partnership with 20th Television Animation. Marc Guggenheim and Tara Butters are attached as showrunners, a pilot script is complete, and ShadowMachine is set to animate.
Back on the podcast, Tudyk had sketched out the whole blueprint without realizing it. 'You bring together people who were on the ship before,' he told Sackhoff. 'You also put together some new people and you bring in some of the old writers or all the old writers. You know, TV has a lot of people out of work right now.'
The series still needs a distributor (the assembled package is expected to be taken out to buyers shortly), and Fillion has urged fans to show support on social media to help it find a home. Fan organizations are mobilizing to get it done, something we'll be following over the coming weeks and months.
'The dedication of Firefly fans has kept this 25-year-old show relevant,' Fillion said. 'Clearly, the return of Firefly is something the fans want. More importantly, it's something they deserve.'
Tudyk hinted it was coming. He said so on a podcast. Nobody had knocked on his door yet, but it was only a few months away.
These Are the Absolute Filthiest Places on a Cruise Ship
If you’ve ever scrolled through your vacation photos and wondered how you managed to spend seven days on a ship without catching so much as a sniffle, you can probably thank a very diligent cleaning crew.
But according to a recent deep-dive by Fodor’s Travel, even the most polished-looking megaships have a few "hidden" hotspots where germs tend to congregate. While most of us return from the high seas feeling better than ever, the experts Fodor's spoke with suggest that being a little "germ-aware" can be the difference between a dream trip and a week spent quarantined in your stateroom.
The reality of cruise travel is that thousands of people are sharing the same enclosed environment, which makes it a "perfect storm" for high-traffic surfaces. As infectious disease specialist Dr. Daniel Egan explained to Fodor’s, the sheer volume of international travelers and crew means viruses can circulate regardless of the season.
Related: These Are the Cruise Ships Everyone's Talking About in 2026
Related: The One Thing You Should Never Do the Day Before Your Cruise, Say Experts
To stay ahead of the curve, the experts suggest looking past the obvious and focusing on the "stealth" germ magnets—like the casino chips that pass through dozens of hands a day or the self-serve drink stations where buttons and nozzles are rarely part of a deep-clean cycle. Even the most essential safety features, like handrails, are touched so frequently that they can become "contaminated again within a few minutes" of being wiped down, according to family medicine doctor Dr. William Woo.
Surprisingly, your "safe haven" cabin isn't immune to the invisible clutter either. Maritime attorney Jason R. Margulies pointed out to Fodor's that high-touch items like the TV remote and the bedside phone are often the most overlooked spots by overextended cleaning staff during those lightning-fast turnaround days.
His "pro tip" for the savvy traveler? Give those light switches and the remote a quick once-over with an antibacterial wipe the second you drop your bags. It’s a small move that takes thirty seconds but can save your entire itinerary.

The most important takeaway for your next sailing isn't to live in fear, but to live with a plan. Dr. Woo emphasizes that while hand sanitizer is a great backup, it isn't a silver bullet for every bug.
The gold standard remains old-fashioned soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you’ve pushed an elevator button or navigated a busy buffet line.
To really put your mind at ease before you walk up the gangway, it’s worth doing a five-minute "background check" on your specific vessel. As maritime attorney Jason R. Margulies suggested to Fodor’s, travelers should look up their ship’s official inspection scores, which are conducted randomly twice a year. In the world of high-seas hygiene, a score of 86 or above is considered passing, and these results are entirely public. Checking these numbers is the ultimate "insider move" for 2026, allowing you to see exactly how a crew handles everything from kitchen cleanliness to pool filtration before you even pack your bags.
By pairing that data with a bit of "stateroom strategy"—like using your elbow for the elevator buttons or heading back to your own cabin for a restroom break—you can enjoy the pisco sours and the midnight buffets without bringing any unwanted "souvenirs" home with you. It’s all about working the system so you can focus on the horizon, not the hand sanitizer.
