Bianca Censori Debuts New Spring Style Amid Kanye Separation Buzz
Bianca Censori stepped out in Los Angeles today, choosing to rock her signature sultry style over the temporary conservative look she served earlier this month.
The Austrialian architect and wife of Kanye West dressed in white micro shorts, a low-cut structured mint-green bodysuit, and a light-blue shawl. She finished the sultry look with a casual low ponytail style and pastel pointed-toe pumps.

— HouseOfVanity (@HouseOfVanity88) March 19, 2026According to TMZ, the model arrived at an L.A. fashion studio today in her Porsche, greeting a friend before heading inside the venue.
Why Was Bianca Censori in Court? The outing follows Censori’s appearance in court tetstifying at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Ye’s Malibu mansion case. Ordered to adhere to an appropriate dress code, the 31-year-old dressed conservatively in a black midi skirt and buttoned-up black cardigan.
In the end, the hip-hop mogul was ordered to pay his ex-project manager $140,000 in damages. Ye has since filed a motion to overturn the decision, Rolling Stone reported.
Are Bianca Censori and Kanye West Splitting Up?Reports of Censori preparing to leave Ye have been circulating online, beginning for the second time in February of this year. The couple denied similar rumors in early 2025, with their representatives denying the claims, People reported.
Since then, the rapper has issued an apology ad in The Wall Street Journal, sat for an interview with Vanity Fair, and sought help in rehab for bipolar disorder.
There have also been rumors about Censori getting ready to release a tell-all memoir. But this is just gossip so far, as neither this rumor, nor the one about her leaving Ye a second time, has been confirmed.

2014 Psychological Movie Ranked the 'Most Exciting Drama' of All Time
In an era where action-packed blockbusters dominate screens, a psychological drama has stunned audiences and critics alike. Whiplash (2014), directed by Damien Chazelle, has been ranked as the most exciting drama of all time.
The making of Whiplash was as demanding as its story. Filmed in just 19 days, the production involved 14–18 hour days with up to 100 setups each day. Director Damien Chazelle faced near-impossible schedules and even returned to set the day after a serious car accident that left him hospitalized with a possible concussion.
The film originated from a 2013 short by Chazelle, which starred J.K. Simmons and won the Short Film Jury Award at Sundance. This success directly led to financing for the feature-length production.

Miles Teller, who plays the ambitious jazz drummer Andrew Neiman, performed all his drumming stunts himself. Despite years of prior drumming experience, Teller underwent intense training for the role.
The result? Hands blistered and bloodied, with some of the real blood actually appearing on screen. Director Chazelle also deliberately avoided calling "cut" during rehearsals, capturing raw exhaustion and authentic emotion for the camera. One iconic slapping scene even involved a real slap to enhance realism, which became the version used in the final film.
J.K. Simmons’ Award-Winning PerformanceMuch of Whiplash’s acclaim is tied to J.K. Simmons, who portrays the tyrannical instructor Terence Fletcher. Simmons, a veteran actor with a long Broadway and film career, drew on years of experience to create a character both terrifying and compelling. His performance earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, along with a Golden Globe, BAFTA, SAG and around 47 other awards.
The film itself received five Oscar nominations and took home three: Best Supporting Actor, Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing.
Simmons’ real-life musical background and Chazelle’s precise direction made Fletcher’s relentless pursuit of perfection both believable and chilling.
“There’s something scary and relatable here, for anyone who’s ever felt passionate about some kind of creative pursuit,” Collider noted in its coverage of the film.
While the premise centers on drumming, Whiplash’s excitement comes from its psychological intensity. Early in the film, Andrew studies Buddy Rich recordings, a nod to the legendary drummer known for his exacting, sometimes brutal standards. The final Carnegie Hall-style performance is shot in long, continuous takes to preserve the tension and momentum, showing Teller battered yet determined.
The final solo is both a defiance of Fletcher’s authority and a declaration of Andrew’s mastery and confidence. The band, initially unsure, gradually follows Andrew’s lead, symbolizing a shift in power and highlighting themes of endurance, timing and precision.
While dramas are not usually associated with adrenaline and tension, this film demonstrates that the stakes of ambition and personal struggle can be just as thrilling as car chases or battles. With a modest budget of $3.3 million, the movie grossed around $50 million worldwide.Whiplash is a testament to what focused storytelling and exceptional performances can achieve.

‘Bridgerton’ Star Says She ‘Cried’ After Finding Out About a Surprise Steamy Scene
Actress Ruth Gemmell didn't expect her Bridgerton character, Lady Violet Bridgerton's steamy season 4 scenes.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Gemmell discussed the romantic moments between Violet and Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis) in a February 2026 interview with Ciné-Télé-Revue. Gemmell, who joined the show's cast during season 1, revealed that she was taken aback when she first heard about her character's explicit Season 4, Episode 1 scene during a costume fitting.
"I was a little bit shocked. I was in a costume fitting, and I realized that I was being fitted for something that I had no idea was going to happen. I went home and cried," recalled Gemmell. "Thankfully, we tackled this one in a slightly different way to the kids of the show. because I don't think anyone would want to watch that really. I was a bit shocked."
She clarified that she believed Marcus and Violet's steamy scenes are "important."
"We don't die after a certain age, so it's quite nice to kind of represent that. It's very lovely to see young love and love for the first time, but it's also very important and lovely to see somebody who has loved and lost and grieved and comes with a myriad of baggage, because everyone can identify with that, and I think that's important to show," said the 58-year-old during the Ciné-Télé-Revue interview.
Daniel Francis Shared He Found Out About His Character Steamy Season 4 Scenes in a Similar WayIn the February 3 episode of Bridgerton: The Official Podcast, alongside Gemmell, Francis shared that he also found out about his character's first steamy scene during a costume fitting. According to Francis, he was given a modesty garment before he was told that Marcus and Violet had intimate scenes in the show's fourth season, which began airing in January 2026.
While recording the podcast episode, Gemmell also shared that she and Francis were able to have productive conversations with the intimacy coordinators. In addition, she revealed what her boundaries were when filming her character's more explicit scenes.
"My a-s wasn't getting out for anyone," quipped the British actress.

Chip and Joanna Gaines Just Jumped on a Viral Social Media Trend That Fans Are Calling 'Precious'
If you've spent even just five minutes on social media in 2026, there's a solid chance you've come across the "This Is Who You’re Asking" trend. You know the one—famous people pair a current photo or accomplishment with a throwback from their childhood. It's usually something a little awkward, adorable and maybe even humbling. It's kind of refreshing to see everyone lean into where they started versus where they are now.
What makes it so fun is that it isn't just about big success stories. It's the side-by-side of "former band kid" or "tiny human in oversized glasses" with "person you’re now taking advice from," and it makes everything feel more relatable. Like, oh right, we alllll had a beginning (and an awkward phase). And that's totally okay.
Naturally, Joanna Gaines couldn't resist jumping in, and she brought husband Chip Gaines along for the ride. And let's just say that the photos are absolutely priceless. It's the kind of wholesome, kind of chaotic throwback content that makes you smile and immediately want to dig up your own childhood pics.
View this post on InstagramJoanna alternates between childhood photos of herself and Chip, starting with a pic that reads, "This is who you're asking to choose every paint color in your house."
Personally, I would totally trust that well-accessorized kid to decide that every wall in my home needs shiplap. Why not?
I think the slide that has the biggest LOL factor is the last one with a young Chip in an Incredible Hulk swimsuit. That one is captioned, "This is who you're trusting to behave on national TV."

What Fans Are SayingFans of the Gaines were absolutely eating all of this up in the comments section of Joanna's Instagram post.
"I love this," said one commenter. "Could you have ever imagined what your lives would be when you were these little kids? What an amazing journey."
Saturday Night Live icon Cheri Oteri even chimed in with her own thoughts on the post.
"I just love you guys and your beautiful family," Oteri said in her comment.
You've gotta love a successful couple who still keep it real after achieving so much. And clearly their very large fan following appreciates it, too. How often do you get that much love on a social media post? Hardly ever.

Savannah Guthrie's Mom Nancy Update: How Porch Guy's Arm Tattoo Could Solve the Case, Says Retired FBI Agent
Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing more than six weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a former FBI agent recently speculated about how a tattoo spotted on "Porch Guy" could help solve the case.
In a March 18 clip from The Megyn Kelly Show, the former Fox News host spoke with former FBI special agent Jonathan Gilliam.
Kelly began by referencing a recent episode of Crime Stories With Nancy Grace, during which Nancy Grace discussed the ink with tattoo artist Darren Rosa.
"Black and gray work is a very prevalent style among gangs, Mexican people who might be in these gangs, or cartels," he claimed. "This is even considered hallmarks of people who've moved up in the echelons of a gang."
After playing the clip, Kelly asked Gilliam for his thoughts on the speculation. "It could be a lot of things," the former FBI agent admitted. " And that's the problem, Megyn, with all this evidence—that is speculation. And Nancy Grace likes to pump things up quite a bit. So it, you know, it could be..."
Gilliam added, "I don't know how he got that from that wrist. I don't know how he came out with that part of it... There's a lot of people who get especially in Arizona, it's like a thing to have a sleeve."
However, the retired agent pointed out one way the tattoo could help the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) and the FBI find a lead.
"Even that little bit right there, if somebody has been arrested and they have tattoos, they're going to have their tattoos recorded," Gilliam explained. "So there could be a database that recognizes that portion. And somebody just has to put that together."
The footage in question is from a doorbell camera on Nancy's front porch; the FBI released images and video of the masked suspect on Feb. 10.
View this post on InstagramNancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Jan. 31, with the PCSD officially launching its search on Feb. 1. As of writing, no suspect has been named in the case.
Costco Is Selling This Fan-Favorite Blackstone Item for an Unbeatable Price, and Shoppers Say It's the 'Absolute Best'
The art of outdoor cooking has evolved far beyond the traditional backyard barbecue. While a standard charcoal or gas grill certainly has its place for high-heat searing, the modern home chef is increasingly looking for versatility that allows for an entire menu to be prepared under the open sky. From sunrise breakfasts of golden pancakes and crispy bacon to late-night smashed burgers and stir-fried vegetables, the transition toward flat-top cooking has revolutionized how families gather. The ability to cook for a crowd without being tethered to a kitchen stove creates a social atmosphere that transforms a simple dinner into a true event.
Investing in high-performance patio equipment is about more than just raw power; it is about precision and heat management. As outdoor living spaces become an extension of the home, the demand for durable, professional-grade tools that can withstand the elements—while providing consistent results—has never been higher. For those who take pride in hosting large gatherings, the challenge is often finding a surface large enough to handle multiple ingredients simultaneously without losing temperature. Achieving that perfect, uniform sear across a massive surface area is the gold standard for any serious griddle enthusiast looking to master the "smash" technique or achieve authentic restaurant-quality results at home.

'Survivor' Star Fires Back at Lisa Kudrow After 'Despicable' Comment
Richard Hatch is responding after Lisa Kudrow’s bold comments about his Survivor win.
The reality TV pioneer, who won the very first season of Survivor in 2000, addressed the Friends star’s remarks in a statement, pushing back on her characterization of his gameplay.
“I’m disappointed in Lisa. It is ironic that someone so richly rewarded for playing roles and celebrating superficiality feels comfortable imagining she has any idea who I am,” Hatch, 64, said to Men’s Journal on Wednesday, March 18.
Kudrow’s comments came during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter while discussing the origins of her satirical series The Comeback, which was partly inspired by early reality television. Reflecting on Survivor’s debut season, she didn’t mince words about Hatch’s win.
“I saw the very first season of Survivor and loved it. What a phenomenal show, but the guy who won was despicable. How do people say that he played a better game worthy of $1 million? Why aren’t you rewarding the person who played a great game, didn’t stoop to his level and was a shining example of humanity? That person should get $1 million. I remember thinking, ‘This is the end of civilization.’”
READ MORE: Lisa Kudrow Calls This ‘Survivor’ Winner ‘Despicable’
Hatch, however, sees things very differently—and says public perception has shifted over time. “Lisa’s comment is reminiscent of so many viewers 25 years ago who lacked the presence of mind to understand the beautiful game of Survivor,” he said to the outlet. “Long ago now, people began to understand the game’s rules and credit me for having so quickly figured out how to play so well.”
He went on to defend his strategic approach, emphasizing that competition was always at the heart of the show.“The game’s rules (outwit, outlast, outplay) are not dissimilar from other well-known, take-no-prisoners games. Imagine a football player tapping his opponent on the shoulder to let him know he is about to tackle him. How boring would that be? We participants signed up, knowing the rules, to compete for a prize, and I won, fairly and squarely.”
Despite the renewed criticism, Hatch made it clear he stands by his legacy, and believes Kudrow’s opinion might change with more context. “I’m very proud of my accomplishment, and were Lisa to have taken the time to learn anything about me before sharing her opinion, I’d like to think that opinion would be markedly different from the one she expressed today.”
Who Got Voted Off 'Survivor 50' Tonight? Plus That Zac Brown Cameo, Explained
As soon as the Survivor 50 players dropped their buffs, they were ready to pick up the gameplay. The tribe swap reunited friends and created new rivalries, which only continued into this week's episode. While Billie Eilish continued to make an impact on the season with her "Boomerang Idol," the castaways were treated to a Survivor first: A visit from Zac Brown. The country icon stopped by in Fiji for a day of tuna and tunes alike. But it was one player who had their Survivor 50 song cut short, and, fittingly, it was the most notable name on the cast.
Here's our spoiler-filled recap of tonight's episode of Survivor 50, including who went home.
Robert Voets/CBS
Mike WhiteSince Mike White last played Survivor, he not only gained, a six-pack, but international notoriety and a few Emmy Awards to boot. But when the White Lotus creator came back to play for Season 50, he largely resorted to the same tactics that brought him great success in David vs. Goliath, namely using the persuasive skills that he's finessed from decades in Hollywood. And, when he heard his closest ally and friend Angelina Keeley was in trouble, he did just that, trying to get his former castmate Christian Hubicki to take their side and get rid of his new ally, Emily Flippen.
Initially, Christian took the bait, especially when Mike made the comparisons between Emily and his former number one Gabby Pascuzzi. But, incidentally, Mike putting Christian in the nostalgic headspace of David vs. Goliath sealed his fate. Seeing how good he can be (which helped get Christian out in their original season), he put the wheels in motion to pull off an incredibly risky 3-2-1 vote. And so, the man who came into this season wanting to wield "narrative warfare" took out one of the show's most accomplished writers, leaving half the tribe flummoxed and furious.
Yes! While she was the recipient of an idol herself, Aubry Bracco was not resting easy. Feeling on the outs of her tribe, she hit the jungle in search of more hardware. That caused her rival Genevieve Mushaluk to go on an idol hunt as well, and the Canadian hit paydirt once more. Finding her second idol, she chose to send it to Rizo Velovic, knowing he trusted her enough not to realize she would cut his throat later. Indeed, the "RizGod" was all smiles when he found the idol in his bag. And, considering the shenanigans he pulled off with his idol in Survivor 49, which was mere weeks ago, it looks like there's more where that came from.

Why was Zac Brown on Survivor?A very good question! Over the past 50 seasons of Survivor, we've seen plenty of people from outside the show, whether they be local experts or Green Berets, show up as a reward to assist the castaways. But this was, for lack of a better term, an entirely different kettle of fish.
Upon being introduced by Jeff Probst, Zac revealed he was a big Survivor fan, knowing all of the returning players who were standing shocked in front of him. But he certainly did not come to Fiji empty-handed, as he brought with him a reward he planned, the biggest of the season. The first-place tribe got an afternoon at the Sanctuary for a fish feast, caught that afternoon by Zac (thanks to his latent love of spearfishing). They were then treated to a private concert from the chart-topper, as the players reflected on the opportunity to slow down and enjoy a rare moment out of the game. While admittedly unconventional (especially with so much time dedicated to someone who isn't even a player), Zac Brown's cameo shows how Survivor fans can truly come from anywhere — and any level of celebrity.

Beloved '70s Rock Classic Is Suddenly Climbing the Charts 56 Years Later
While some songs that are considered classics today shot to the top of the charts right away, others took months or even years to become major hits. Such was the case with one of Creedence Clearwater Revival's most beloved songs of all time, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." The tune took a surprisingly long time to catch on...but boy, did it ever.
Released as a single from the 1970 album Pendulum, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. A significant achievement, to be sure, but not as impressive as some of the band's earlier hits; "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising" and "Down on the Corner/Fortunate Son" all went to #2. Over the years, however, the song's popularity grew. It's currently Creedence Clearwater Revival's biggest streaming hit, with over 2 billion streams on Spotify ("Fortunate Son" is in second place with 1.7 billion streams).
Now, as Forbes reported, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" has made a return to two Billboard charts over 50 years since its release, appearing on both the Rock Streaming Songs chart and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at the same time.
On the streaming-only list, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" made it to #19, while it just made the cut on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at #199. The song is climbing up the Billboard Global 200, too (though it's been hanging out there for quite some time already), going from #151 to #135.
The song's enduring legacy is also boosting overall Creedence consumption, with the group's 1976 album Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits also creeping up the Billboard 200 (from #58 to #49). Overall, the album has spent nearly 800 weeks on that list; it also appears inside the top 10 on both the Top Rock Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums charts.
'Have You Ever Seen the Rain' was written about Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'impending breakup'As frontman John Fogerty told Rolling Stone in 1993, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" was inspired by the band's struggles (brother and bandmate Tom Fogerty left the group in 1971).
“That song is really about the impending breakup of Creedence. The imagery is, you can have a bright, beautiful, sunny day, and it can be raining at the same time,” he said. “The band was breaking up. I was reacting, ‘Geez, this is all getting serious right at the time when we should be having a sunny day.’”
Years later, however, at a 2012 concert in Arizona, Fogerty said the song had taken on a new meaning for him.
“It started out as a sad song many years ago,” he said. “It was about a sad occasion in my life, but I refuse to be sad now. These days, it’s a very happy song, because it reminds me of my beautiful, little baby girl, Kelsy, and that is the truth.”

Why Kristin Kreuk Didn’t Want to Film This ‘Smallville’ Episode: 'I Was Angry'
Kristin Kreukplayed Lana Lang in the hit WB show, Smallville, during the show's first eight seasons. However, the actress, now 43, wasn't a fan of all of the show's Lana-focused episodes.
During a 2024 appearance on her former Smallville co-stars Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum's podcast, Talk Ville, Kreuk said she took issue with a season 5 episode, which aired in 2005. In Season 5, Episode 5 ("Thrist"), Lana gets turned into a vampire-like creature after becoming a member of a sorority.
Kreuk explained to Welling and Rosenbaum that she "was angry" about the episode because Lana had to wear revealing clothing without any reason.
"I think I was angry with this one. I was I think, at this point, I got to the point where I was like I don't want to do this anymore. It's so objectifying. There's no point to it, except for to, you know, give me an excuse to wear like a super tight outfit," said the Murder in a Small Town star. "I think at this point, I had become quite frustrated with this trope of ours, and I wasn't easy on this episode. I think I made it really difficult for people."
She explained that she had "fought to change this episode."
"Which didn't really get me very far, but yeah, it was a tough one for me. And maybe it wasn't just this episode, though it was just the straw that broke the camel's back in a way," explained the actress.
When Rosenbaum, who played villain Lex Luthor, noted that the episode didn't make sense for Lana's character, Kreuk responded that she believes "that's why [she] started to get frustrated."
"There was never even a good excuse for it anymore. It was just, 'We're just going to do this now because we want to have an episode of filler and fun,'" said Kreuk in the 2024 podcast interview.
She also said that the vampire teeth she was tasked to wear for the episode caused her to have a lisp.
"I was lisping the whole time but you're supposed to be scary and threatening but no," said Kreuk with a laugh.
10 Surprising Celebs You Didn't Know Owned Restaurants
Despite how vocal celebrities often are about their business ventures and upcoming projects, it's sometimes hard to keep track of exactly how many projects they're involved in. One day it's cosmetics, the next it's energy drinks and protein bars. The reality is that being a celebrity means getting comfortable having several pots on the stove, whether that means being an actress-singer-producer or some other combination of multi-hypenate.
Beyond just slapping their name on a mid-tier liquor bottle, though, a lot of celebs opt to make more strategic investments by founding their own businesses or acquiring a stake in already established ones, and the restaurant industry seems to be a natural fit for stars looking to maximize their investment. For one, restaurants can be incredibly lucrative depending on the type of concept, and objectively, it's more secure than knowing whether or not you'll book your next big role.

That said, we can't always tell whether our favorite restaurant benefits from celebrity influence unless it's highly publicized, like Shaq's endorsement of Papa John's. In fact, you might be surprised by which A-lister is behind your favorite local eatery, but lucky for you, we've rounded up 10 to alleviate some of the mystery. And who knows, maybe you'll spot them on your next outing.
10 Restaurants You Didn't Know Were Owned by Celebs1. Las' Lap (Michael B. Jordan)Featureflash Photo Agency / Shutterstock.com
Beyond just being a newly minted Best Actor Oscar-winner—and only the sixth Black man to do so—Michael B. Jordan also happens to know his way around the kitchen. Although he isn't a trained chef per se, the Sinners leading man has never shied away from showing off his culinary chops and notoriously enjoys whipping up a variety of dishes from tacos and pasta to everything in between. Naturally, he's also part-owner of an Afro-Caribbean restaurant and rum bar called Las' Lap, and, well, let's just say it's almost as endearing as the award-winning actor himself.
The restaurant is named after the hour before the end of Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago, and the brand translates that lively vibe into dishes and cocktails that'll make you feel like you've been transported to the islands. With a location in New York and a second in Miami helmed by Top Chef alum Kwame Onwuachi, Las' Lap is equal parts vibrant lounge and a culinary destination. Menu highlights include jerk chicken eggrolls and codfish fritters with mango aioli.

Bad Bunny's meteoric rise is one to be studied, but outside of just being arguably the biggest Latin trap and reggaeton artist out right now, he's also the co-owner of Gekkō, a Japanese steakhouse in Miami. While it might seem like a departure from his Latin roots, the restaurant itself celebrates the kind of global fusion Benito is known for. Among a sea of traditional Japanese fare and sushi dishes, you'll find oak-smoked chicken with an Asian-inspired jerk marinade or mac and cheese made with a miso cream and milk bread crumb. It's bold and unapologetic, much like El Conejo Malo himself.

3. True Food Kitchen (Oprah)Kathy Hutchins / Shutterstock.com
It's not exactly surprising that someone with an estimated net worth of $3.2 billion would find the time to invest some of that money into a successful chain of restaurants, let alone if that someone is as magnanimous as Oprah. In 2018, the media mogul and cultural icon announced that she had made a significant and undisclosed investment in True Food Kitchen, a health-focused restaurant concept with over 46 locations nationwide.
The brand calls itself a seasonal restaurant and scratch bar with an intense focus on using the freshest, healthiest ingredients it can find. Whether that means sourcing organic Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes for their sauce or committing to eliminating seed oils from every ingredient on their menu, TFK aims to make food that's not only good for you, but good for your taste buds, too. Oprah might just be on to something.

When she isn't delivering a world-class performance as Rue's mom in Euphoria, you can probably find Nika King actually working at Blue Tree Café, a vegan soul food restaurant based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Founded in 2007 by Nika's mother, chef Sharon Allen, the restaurant is known for offering classic soul food dishes like rasta pasta, collard greens and mac and cheese, all with a plant-based twist.
The goal of the pick-up-only restaurant located in the heart of historic Sistrunk, a once-thriving Black neighborhood and cultural business center, is to provide underserved communities with access to healthier food options. It also serves as a virtual business incubator, helping Black and Brown vegan chefs turn their dreams into reality by providing a platform to sell their food. Their first is Oh So You're Vegan, a plant-based business that makes crispy "chik'n" sandwiches from golden fried oyster mushrooms.

When it comes to multi-hypenates Issa Rae probably has more dashes behind her name than anyone else. She's a director, producer, writer, actress and entrepreneur with everything from haircare to prosecco. She is quite literally everything, and keeping true to that title, Issa Rae also happens to be involved in not one but two food and beverage ventures: Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen and Somerville.
Both brands embody the everything, everywhere, at once vibe Issa has going on, with Hilltop being more focused on curating a casual vibe where creators from all walks of life can connect over really good coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and Somerville being more of a sultry after-hours jazz club aesthetic.

Nasir Jones, better known as the rapper Nas, knows all about curating a vibe, and when he isn't doing it on wax, he's helping bring the energy to Sweet Chick, the popular New York-based chicken and waffles restaurant. After becoming an investor and co-owner early on, Nas quickly infused his signature New York swagger into the brand, creating a buzzy see-and-be-seen spot with five locations scattered across the Big Apple. Beyond just being a hotspot for celebs, Sweet Chick is known for turning out mouthwatering creations like blueberry muffin waffles, crispy fish sandos, and, of course, chicken and waffles.

Mysterious and brooding Norman Reedus, known for playing Daryl Dixon on the hit AMC series The Walking Dead, might not be the first person you'd think of when it comes to owning a restaurant, but after you visit Nic & Norman's, you'll get it. The beloved bar and Southern-style eatery has five locations in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky and features classic comfort food in a speakeasy-style setting. Think: exposed brick and original architecture, with meatloaf and fried-chicken pot pie. It's equal parts rugged and alluring, similar to Norman's iconic portrayal of Daryl Dixon.

Outside of being one of the greatest basketball players of all time, LeBron James also happens to be a major investor in the buzzy build-your-own-pizza chain Blaze Pizza. The brand, with over 300 locations globally, is known for offering guests the opportunity to build their own pizza creations with unlimited toppings, then fire it in a blazing-hot oven for about two minutes. From the build to your plate, it's meant to be blazing fast and full of flavor.

Susan Sarandon is a woman of multitudes. The brand was founded in 2009 and has nine locations (and counting) across the United States and Canada.
Essentially, SPiN operates as part lounge and entertainment club and part table tennis arena, where guests can reserve spots at Olympic-grade tables to fight for the title of ping-pong champion. And luckily, if you're more of a spectator, they've got a world-class food menu too. Whether you're craving a Korean chicken sandwich or cast-iron gnocchi mac and cheese, it's worth a visit for the food alone. They've even got a burger called "The Marty," a nod to Marty Reisman, the real American table tennis player who inspired Marty Supreme.

It's no secret that Ayesha Curry knows her way around a kitchen. She's a successful cookbook author and media personality who notably hosted her own cooking show, Ayesha's Home Kitchen, on Food Network. With that in mind, it's not exactly a leap to think that she'd be interested in owning a restaurant. What initially started as a pop-up in 2016 has since ballooned into a full-blown brick-and-mortar called International Smoke.
The restaurant, founded by Ayesha Curry and James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina, celebrates the tradition of cooking over an open flame and highlights a global array of flavors and cuisines. Notable standouts include the "Peking" pork belly bao buns, Ayesha's Cornbread with a Thai red curry butter and the smoked "Galbi" beef short rib.

Nancy Guthrie Update: How Sheriff Chris Nanos Recall Could Affect Investigation, Retired FBI Agent Speculates
Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing more than six weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a retired FBI agent just weighed in amid an effort to recall Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos.
In the Wednesday, March 18 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, NewsNation Senior Investigative Reporter Brian Entin spoke with former FBI special agent Maureen O'Connell about the situation.
"I really hate being critical of my fellow law enforcement officers, but I just don't know what to think about this guy," O'Connell admitted of Nanos. "My understanding from reporting that Megyn Kelly did the other day that he had something like a 95% disapproval rating before this case, which is pretty shocking."
She continued, "So if those people feel it's time for him to go, it might just be time for him to go. It's unfortunate, but I don't know..."
When asked if Nanos' being ousted as sheriff would have an impact on Nancy's case, O'Connell replied, "No. The continuity? No, it would not. Because it's not like he's holding the whole thing together."

The recall effort launched on March 12, the Pima County Elections Department confirmed. Among those gathering signatures with a goal of removing Nanos from office is Daniel Butierez, a Republican congressional candidate in Arizona. More than 120,000 signatures must be collected in 120 days.
“We’re aware of the recall, and it’s the right of the people,” Nanos told KOLD on March 17. “We’ll always honor the will of the people, and that’s what makes democracy."
Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills residence on the evening of Jan. 31. The PCSD launched its search for the 84-year-old on Feb. 1, and as of writing, no suspect has been named.
Does Childhood Stress Affect Adult Digestive Health? Here’s What A New Study Says
Researchers may have found a link between childhood stress and digestive health later in life. Published in the journal Gastroenterology, the study examined how early experiences affect gut development as children age.
Sure, your kiddo doesn’t have to worry about paying off high-interest credit cards, affording the constantly rising cost of gas, or battling rush hour traffic. But that doesn’t mean your little one’s life is stress-free. Like adults, children also experience stress. Whether it’s a major math test, a social situation, trying out for the school play, or something else, they worry too.
You want nothing more than to magically lift every source of anxiety from your kiddo’s life, but it’s just not always possible. So how can stress affect your child? According to info from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), some types of pressure are actually beneficial. In moderate amounts, stress can act as a motivating factor, helping your child to succeed. But when it’s overwhelming, tension and anxiety can cause health-related issues, irritability, depression, and sleep disturbances.
As if these potential consequences of persistent stress aren’t enough, this new study uncovered a potentially persistent effect. According to Kara Margolis, study author, director of the NYU Pain Research Center, and professor of molecular pathobiology at NYU College of Dentistry and pediatrics and cell biology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, “Our research shows that these stressors can have a real impact on a child’s development and may influence gut issues long-term.”
The recent study looked at how adverse emotional experiences impact communication between the brain and the digestive system. Changes in this pathway can lead to problems, including abdominal pain, constipation, or irritable bowel syndrome. Margolis explained, “When the brain is impacted, the gut is likely also impacted—the two systems communicate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
So how did the researchers gauge whether stress affects gut health later in life? Along with an animal component (the authors examined how newborn mice react when separated from their mothers), they also included two large-scale human studies. One study found that children of mothers with untreated depression were more likely to develop GI issues. The other also showed a link between extreme early stressful experiences and later digestive disturbances.
What does this mean for your child? Margolis notes, “Understanding the mechanisms involved can help us to create more targeted treatments.” And, in addition to how this research could help children, Margolis also emphasizes the benefits for adults: “This developmental history could ultimately inform how we understand how some disorders of gut-brain interaction develop and treat them based on specific mechanisms.”
‘70s Rock Legend Gets Honest About His Autism
With his eccentric style and quirky stage presence, David Byrne, the iconic frontman of the band Talking Heads, emerged as one of the most distinctive figures in ‘70s and ‘80s music.
For decades, the 73-year-old musician captivated the public by delivering iconic performances and chart-topping hits from “Burning Down the House,” “Psycho Killer,” “The Big Country” and more.
However, amid the fame and recognition, Byrne is opening up about a deeply personal aspect of his life.
The Talking Heads legend appeared as a guest on the Fashion Neurosis, a podcast hosted by British fashion designer Bella Freud.
Beyond their conversation about music, his career, the band’s split and relationship, another topic they discussed was about autism.
For years, he has been vocal about being on a spectrum and how it has influenced both his personal and creative journey.
Now, he is shedding light on the reality behind it.

In the interview, he was asked if it had been different or if there had ever been changes as he got older.
“Oh yeah. I think I was much more socially uncomfortable when I was younger,” he said.
Byrne then recalled a moment from years ago when a friend read aloud the signs and the symptoms that describe autism and told him, “David, this is you.” At the time, he simply replied, “Yeah, sounds like it,” he said with a laugh as he looked back on the memory.
According to him, there were subtle signs that he might be on the spectrum. Beyond being socially uncomfortable, he was also overly literal and hyper-focused on a particular task or project.
“They are not all negative; some of them are also positive,” he pointed out.
In a previous interview with PEOPLE, he also shared how he acknowledges it without judgement and at some point, he views this as one part of who he is.
“I’ve never thought of it as a disability, but I can see that there’s a part of me that is like that,” he mentioned to the outlet.
For performers and musicians, working on the creative side can be an advantage as it allows them to channel their hyperfocus by becoming deeply engrossed in their work.
Their ability to maintain a social mask can also help them fully embody a character on stage, which makes Byrne’s performances all the more compelling.
According to Mayo Clinic, the key indicators of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in adults include challenges with social interaction and communication, a need for routine, intense special interests, sensory sensitivities and repetitive behaviors.

'I'm a Cardiologist—This Cholesterol Test You've Never Heard of Could Prevent Heart Disease'
As with any disease, it’s pretty obvious that preventing heart disease is important. But why? What are the health ramifications of it?
Well, they're pretty serious ones—including mortality—and affect many people. Heart disease can cause symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath and pain. Pretty nerve-wracking and unpleasant experiences, to understate it. Plus, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women and people of most racial and ethnic groups, according to the CDC. It’s clearly something to take seriously.
The good news is that there are many steps you can take to prevent heart disease, and we’ll get into them in a bit. But first, let’s talk about some recent news related to heart disease and one of its risk factors: high cholesterol. According to the American Heart Association’s March 2026 guidelines on dyslipidemia (which means abnormal levels of lipids in the blood), there’s a potentially life-saving cholesterol test we all need to get at the doctor’s office.
Ahead, a cardiologist shares everything you need to know or might be wondering about that test. Then, she shares tips for heart disease prevention. (Spoiler alert: Preventing heart disease is mostly in our control, and unsurprisingly, it entails various healthy habits.)
🩺SIGN UP for Parade’s health newsletter with expert-approved tips, healthy eats, exercises, news & more to help you stay healthy & feel your best self💊
This Cholesterol Test May Help Prevent Heart Disease, Cardiologist SaysThe American Heart Association guidelines mentioned above provide a list of 10 top take-home messages for clinical practice. The sixth requires a cholesterol test you can schedule at your doctor’s office anytime (and the sooner, the better). To be clear, you may have gotten your cholesterol tested at the doctor’s office before, but that doesn’t mean you’ve gotten this cholesterol test.
“Lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), is a simple blood test that measures an inherited form of cholesterol that is not included in a standard cholesterol panel,” says Dr. Estelle Jean, MD, a cardiologist with MedStar Health. All the test requires is a fasting blood draw.
“What makes it different is that it is largely determined by your genetics, and therefore, your level is essentially set early in life and does not change much over time,” Dr. Jean continues. “Because Lp(a) levels remain stable throughout life, most people only need to have it checked once.”
The guidelines say Lp(a) should be measured at least once to test for a person’s risk of ASCVD, or atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, which is a buildup of cholesterol-rich plaque in the arteries.
Related: The Heart Disease Risk Factor 1 in 5 People Don’t Even Know They Have, According to Cardiologists
The fact that it often isn’t checked at all is surprising, given the value of knowing the results. “What makes this test so important is that it can uncover hidden risk,” Dr. Jean says. “We now recognize that traditional cholesterol testing does not tell the whole story.”
So, just because your other cholesterol levels were A-OK doesn’t mean you’re in the clear. You can still be at risk for heart disease if your Lp(a) is elevated. In fact, those particles are more likely to cause plaque buildup, inflammation and blood clotting in the arteries, according to Dr. Jean.
Further, you can feel completely healthy and be young—as young as the 20s or 30s—and be at risk, she adds. “You don’t have to wait for symptoms to take your heart health seriously.”
Related: Cardiologists Say This Surprisingly Common Heart Condition Can ‘Kill Without Warning’
Lp(a) testing allows us to know the risk and intervene earlier, particularly for people with unexpected heart problems or a family history. “If it is elevated, we tend to be more proactive about lowering LDL cholesterol, controlling blood pressure and addressing lifestyle factors to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke,” Dr. Jean says.
How To Prevent Heart DiseaseWhile Lp(a) levels are genetic, heart disease prevention more broadly is largely in our control. Up to 80 percent of heart disease and stroke can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices, according to the World Heart Federation.
While “healthy lifestyle choices” can sound overwhelming and difficult, they don’t have to be. “I often tell my patients that small, consistent steps really do add up,” Dr. Jean says. “It starts with knowing your numbers, such as blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar, and taking action early.”
Some heart health tips Dr. Jean recommends include:
- Eating heart-healthy foods, such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean proteins
- Staying physically active with regular movement throughout the week
- Getting adequate sleep
- Managing stress (chronic stress has a direct impact on the heart and blood vessels)
- Not smoking
- Limiting alcohol
- Getting regular check-ups with your healthcare provider
That last point is important not only because it allows you to learn your “numbers,” but you can also get individualized support. After all, while the tips above are generally true for all of us, health looks different for each person. “Prevention is not one-size-fits-all, and having that ongoing relationship helps tailor a plan that fits your individual risk,” Dr. Jean says.
Without undermining the importance of steps like those, don’t forget the American Heart Association’s recent recommendation: a one-time check of your Lp(a) levels. “Lp(a) is often described as a risk amplifier,” Dr. Jean says. “It helps us personalize prevention earlier and more precisely, which is where we can make the biggest impact.”
