Sandals’ Three Iconic Jamaica Hotels Will Be Fully Transformed By End of Year
If you’ve been holding onto memories of your favorite Jamaican getaway, waiting for the perfect moment to return to the place where it all began, the countdown is officially on.
For many of us, Sandals Montego Bay, Royal Caribbean and South Coast aren’t just resorts—they are the backdrops to our best anniversaries, our most relaxed girl trips, and those quiet moments of "One Love" that stay with you long after the tan fades.
Following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa last fall, the decision was made to keep these three specific doors closed a bit longer. But as restoration efforts progressed, the brand realized they had a rare gift: the chance to stop simply repairing the past and start dreaming about an even better future.

Executive Chairman Adam Stewartshared that having these properties fully closed provided a "blank canvas" that changed everything for the team. As he walked the quiet grounds and thought about the guests who have remained loyal for decades, it became clear that a simple restoration wouldn't be enough for a comeback of this scale.
“We shouldn’t simply restore what was there. We should dream bigger,” Stewart said. “When we welcome our guests back, they’ll see the transformation and they’ll feel exactly why we chose to use this moment to create something worthy of their loyalty.”

This means that when you step back onto the sand at Sandals South Coast on November 18, 2026, or arrive at the Montego Bay and Royal Caribbean resorts just in time for the holidays on December 18, 2026, the experience will feel both entirely new and comfortingly familiar.
At Sandals South Coast, which reopens November 18, 2026, the focus is on a deeper connection to its 500-acre nature reserve. The lobby is being completely opened up to the air, and the old pool tower is being removed to make way for a massive new "St. Vincent style" signature pool. If you’re a fan of a good slow-pour, you’ll be happy to see the addition of BLUM, the new Blue Mountain coffee concept, alongside four brand-new dining spots and a dedicated Rum Club for evening gatherings.
Just in time for the holidays, both Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Montego Bay will return on December 18, 2026. At Royal Caribbean, the "arrival portal" is being leveled and rebuilt. It will feature a long, modern infinity-edge pool that stretches toward the sea—a direct nod to the architectural style of the newest 2.0 properties.
They are also moving away from the older garden-view blocks in favor of 100 more contemporary, airy suites and a communal dining spot called Suppa that focuses on shared Jamaican plates. Meanwhile, over at Montego Bay, the original flagship where it all began is getting a completely redesigned pool and the debut of Buccan—the open-hearth, wood-fired restaurant that became an instant favorite at the new St. Vincent property.
For those of us who have stayed at these three resorts a dozen times, the most important detail is that the "Stay at 1, Play at All" exchange between Montego Bay and Royal Caribbean is staying intact. You’ll be able to hop on the shuttle and experience the new Buccan at MoBay for dinner, then head back to the new Suppa at Royal Caribbean for a late-night drink—all while checking out the biggest physical transformation these properties have seen in 30 years.

This High-Tech Grill Season Must-Have Takes the Guesswork Out of Cooking: 'Thoroughly Impressed'
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Grilling season is fast approaching, and with it comes the inevitable epidemic of self-proclaimed grill masters cooking their protein to oblivion. Burgers turned to hockey pucks and chicken teetering on the edge of being sawdust. Steaks alchemized into rubber, and fish so dry you couldn't tell that they ever swam in the ocean. It's one of the most common mistakes people make on the grill, due to the wild, untamed nature of cooking over an open flame. And while you might be able to set and forget veggies or kebabs, protein requires a more watchful eye if you're aiming to make competition-worthy barbecue.
Even if your aspirations aren't that lofty, there's nothing more gratifying than attempting to make a perfect medium-rare T-bone and nailing it every single time. Unfortunately, grilling isn’t foolproof—even with the Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1150 Digital Charcoal Grill and Smoker—and no matter how good your intuition (or your grill) is, you might still need some help to get the job done. Luckily, ChefsTemp has a game-changing product that makes nailing your target temp easier than ever.
😋😋SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter🍳🍔
I give you the ProTemp 2 Plus Wireless Meat Thermometer, the key to making expert-level protein without all the extra guesswork. This high-tech addition to your grilling toolkit essentially acts as your eyes on the grill, using an ultra-thin stainless steel probe to monitor internal and ambient temperatures. The probe can withstand ambient temperatures of up to 1,000°F and internal temps up to 221°F. It also comes with a durable water-resistant stand that can charge up to three probes at once.
ProTemp 2 Plus, $149.99 at ChefsTemp Shop It!The thermometer seamlessly connects with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, giving you ultimate freedom to manage your cook from wherever you are with the ChefsTemp app. You can get alerts sent to your Apple Watch or phone that let you know when your chicken is ready or when your burger reaches your specified temp. The ChefsTemp app also lets you control up to nine probes at once, ensuring everyone gets their steak cooked to their liking.

It truly makes cooking less of a guessing game and more of a science, giving you the confidence to step away from the grill and actually have a margarita with your friends. As if that wasn't enough, the probe is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and is waterproof, so you can use it beyond the grill, whether you're roasting, baking, frying, or cooking sous vide. Not to mention it has a whopping 30-hour battery life, so if you're making something more involved like a brisket, you can rest assured that it'll come out as good as perfect, no matter how long it takes.
At $149.99, it might seem a little pricey, but it's really a small price to pay for peace of mind. And when you consider how expensive meat is these days, you'll save yourself the headache of literally throwing money away by not cooking your protein to the point of being inedible. Personally, we'll take it. Now that's grilling season done smart.
Holland America Line's New 8-Day Asia Cruise is a First for 2027
If you've been dreaming of the vibrant night markets of Kuala Lumpur or the turquoise waters of Phuket, but couldn't quite wrap your head around a three-week commitment, Holland America Line is finally bridging that gap.
The cruise line just unveiled a new 8-Day Far East Discovery itinerary on the Noordam that is a major departure from the standard 14-day marathons typically required to see this part of the world.

Holland America Line
For the busy traveler who wants a meaningful introduction to Southeast Asia without burning through their entire year of vacation time, this sailing is a total game-changer. It taps into the growing "short-cation" trend, proving that you don’t need a month-long voyage to truly immerse yourself in the culture and flavors of the East.
Departing November 27, 2027, the journey begins and ends in Singapore, but the real standout is the pace. Unlike many shorter cruises that rush through ports, this one features an overnight in Port Klang, giving you nearly 36 hours to explore Kuala Lumpur.
This rare window allows you to see the city transition from its bustling daytime markets to the neon glow of the Petronas Towers at night. Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment for Holland America, noted that the magic of this trip is the contrast. “What I love about this itinerary is the contrast you get in just eight days. You feel the energy and city vibe of Kuala Lumpur, especially with the overnight, and then you balance that with access to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches in places like Phuket. It gives guests a great introduction to Southeast Asia without feeling rushed or overwhelming.”

The itinerary is a carefully curated "best-of" list that also includes a stop in George Town, Penang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its colonial architecture and some of the best street food on the planet.
For those who do have a bit more time, the cruise is designed to be paired with a longer 14-day voyage without any repeat ports, but the 8-day standalone option is what really feels fresh. It offers the refined service and comfort Holland America is known for in a package that actually fits into a modern schedule. It’s a sophisticated, well-paced week that proves you can see the world’s most striking destinations and still be back home in time for the following Monday.
22 Years Ago Today, This 2004 Oscar-Winning Movie Broke Viewers' Hearts When It First Came Out
Exactly 22 years ago, the world was introduced to a movie it would never be able to forget.
On March 19, 2004, the critically-acclaimed film The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind came out in theaters, and even over two decades later, the movie is still etched in viewers' minds.
Directed by Michel Gondry, the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a science fiction romance film starring Jim Carreyand Kate Winslet. They play Joel Barish and Clementine Kruczynski, two lovers who get their memories of each other erased from their brains after going through a traumatic breakup, only to find that love isn't so easy to forget.
The tagline for the film sums it up perfectly: "You can erase someone from your mind. Getting them out of your heart is another."
@oscars"I can't see anything that I don't like about you." 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' debuted in theaters on this day 20 years ago. At the 77th Academy Awards, it won Best Original Screenplay (Michel Gondry, Charlie Kaufman, Pierre Bismuth). Kate Winslet also received a Best Actress nomination for her performance as Clementine Kruczynski. #jimcarrey #katewinslet #eternalsunshine #eternalsunshineofthespotlessmind #moviescene #2000s #scifi #drama #kirstendunst #markruffalo #elijahwood
♬ original sound - The Oscars - The OscarsIn addition to Carrey and Winslet, the film also includes performances from Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood and Tom Wilkinson, whose characters work for the company that removes memories from patients' minds while they sleep.
Winslet received a nomination for Best Actress at the 2005 Oscars for her role in the film, marking her fourth career nomination, though she didn't pull out a win. That year, Hilary Swank took home the Best Actress trophy for her performance in Million Dollar Baby. (Winslet later won her first Oscar 4 years later for The Reader in 2009.)
Aside from Winslet's nod, Eternal Sunshine was also nominated—and won—for Best Original Screenplay (Charlie Kaufman). It is the most recent example of a film winning for Original Screenplay without having been nominated in the Best Picture category.
With a 93% Rotten Tomatoes score and a 4.2 star average rating on Letterboxd, the beloved film continues to stand the test of time.
"This movie DESTROYED me," one Letterboxd user wrote in their review of the film, while another called the movie "One of the most well-crafted love stories ever told."
Someone else on the movie-rating platform celebrated the anniversary of the film's release, writing in a review on March 19, "happy 22nd birthday to this INCREDIBLE movie!"

Val Kilmer Died Last Year. His Family Just Let AI Bring Him Back for a New Film
Val Kilmer spent years making peace with what cancer had taken from him. He lost his natural voice to throat cancer in 2015, endured two tracheotomies, and eventually turned to an AI software company to reconstruct the sound of his speech. He used that voice in Top Gun: Maverick, his final film. He died of pneumonia on April 1, 2025, at 65.
Now, less than a year after his death, a generative AI version of Kilmer is set to appear in As Deep as the Grave, an indie film announced Wednesday by production company First Line Films. It's one of the boldest uses of artificial intelligence in moviemaking to date, and it raises questions that Hollywood has been tiptoeing around for years.
View this post on InstagramThe story behind the casting is genuinely unusual. Kilmer had been attached to the film five years before his death, signed on to play Father Fintan, a Catholic priest and Native American spiritualist. The role appealed to him personally as he identified as part Native American and had deep ties to the Southwest, where the film is set. But his health never allowed him to make it to set. Director Coerte Voorheesrefused to recast.
'He was the actor I wanted to play this role,' Voorhees told Variety on Wednesday. 'It was very much designed around him.' Rather than recast or scrap the part, the director worked with Kilmer's estate and his daughter Mercedes to reconstruct him digitally, using archival images and recordings his family supplied. The AI version of Kilmer will appear in what the filmmakers describe as a significant portion of the finished film.
Mercedes Kilmer, who is herself a filmmaker, gave her blessing. Her father, she said in a statement, had always embraced technology as a storytelling tool. His son Jack is also supportive.

The film itself is based on a true story. The excavations of archaeologists Ann and Earl Morris in Arizona's Canyon de Chelly, tracing the history of the Navajo people. The cast includes Tom Felton, Abigail Lawrie, Abigail Breslin, and Wes Studi.
The announcement landed differently than most casting news. SAG-AFTRA, the actors union, has fought bitterly over AI replicas in recent years. Its rules require performer consent for digital replication, and by that measure, this project threads the needle. Kilmer signed the original contract, his family approved the AI work, and his estate is being compensated. The union has not commented specifically on this film.
Still, the ethical issue is hard to ignore. A first-look image released by Variety shows an AI-rendered Kilmer, eyes cast forward. It is recognizably him, and that is precisely the point, and precisely the problem for those who believe performance cannot be separated from the living body that creates it.
Producers are currently seeking distribution, with hopes of releasing the film later this year. Whether audiences embrace it or recoil may say as much about where the culture stands as anything a filmmaker could put on screen.
The Inexpensive Carry-On Essential That Saves Me Every Time
When you’re packing for a trip in a carry-on, you never want to pack items that are extremely large or unnecessary. As someone who always travels with just a carry-on for most trips, I make sure that every single item that I pack has a dual-purpose. If items are super small, that scores me extra points in the “pro carry-on packer” game. I’ve worked on cruise ships, traveled the world on a Broadway tour and solo travel multiple times a year for leisure. I’m an extremely minimalistic packer, and I’ve definitely gotten my packing habits down to a science.
Over the years, I’ve collected a few non-negotiables that I always pack in my carry-on, no matter the trip. Whether I’m taking a solo cruise, city hopping in Europe or going to visit friends across the country–my list of carry-on essentials always stays the same. There’s one item in particular that is not only small and incredibly useful, but it’s also inexpensive. There’s truly no reason not to get this simple item, so stay tuned while I tell you all about it.

Always Bring A Carabiner With You
Project Untethered is a Youtube channel where the creator, Mitch, shares useful and out-of-the-box packing tips. In one video where he focuses on cheap packing hacks, Mitch shares that he always has at least one carabiner with him attached to one of his bags. While he finds a lot of different uses for them, there’s one way he uses a carabiner to pack more clothes but not pay for extra luggage. For this trick, you’ll need a carabiner plus an empty packing cube that has a handle attached to it.
Wear a ton of layers when you go to check-in at the airport (this is especially useful if you are checking luggage as well). Then, once you are done checking in, take those extra layers off and roll them up into the extra packing cube that you brought. Lastly, clip the packing cube onto your hand luggage with the carabiner. Mitch says that you can also use a plastic bag for this hack if you are desperately in need, however using the packing cube will keep things much more organized.

Carabiners Have Multiple Uses That Make It Well Worth ItBeyond using a carabiner to bring extra items with you in your carry-on luggage, you can also use it to make things much easier throughout your trip as well. You can attach a carabiner to every bag that you bring on your trip, including your regular carry-on, your backpack or any other personal item that you bring.
If you’re taking a vacation where you’ll be visiting a beach, you can use the carabiner to clip on your wet bathing suit to the outside of your bag. If you change out your shoes from wet beach sandals into something more walkable, you can clip your sandals onto a bag as well. You can also use the carabiner to hang your bag places, ensuring that it’s not getting dirty and it stays out of the way. On the airplane itself, a carabiner can be used to hang your bag to the tray table hinge for easy access.
One of my favorite ways to use a carabiner is to use it to attach my water bottle to my backpack. I am huge on staying hydrated while I travel, and I usually have a 40-ounce Owala water bottle with me. These water bottles have little handles on them, making them perfect to attach to a carabiner which can clip right on to any backpack or shoulder bag. This way, it doesn’t have to take up space inside the bag, and it’s much easier to access if it's hanging outside of the bag. For those who love to shop while traveling, you can also use a carabiner to attach your shopping bags to your backpack. There are endless possibilities with this tiny item, so I highly recommend getting a few before your next trip.

42 Years Ago Today, Hit CBS Sitcom Was Born in NYC—But One Star Almost Said ‘No’
On March 19, 1984, Kate & Allie made its debut on CBS. The hit sitcom, created by Sherry Coben, starred Susan Saint James and Jane Curtin as two divorced moms raising their kids together in a New York City brownstone. It aired for six seasons, until May 22, 1989.
Kate McArdle (Saint James) was the mother to a teen daughter, Emma (Ari Meyers), and worked in a travel agency, while Allie Lowell (Curtin) was a stay-at-home mom to Jennie and Chip (Allison Smith and Frederick Koehler). From the jump, Kate & Allie received positive reviews.
A TV critic for The New York Timeswrote that the show got off to “an unusually promising start.” And was “fortunate enough to attract some first-rate talent, in front of and behind the cameras.”
Jane Curtin didn’t want to do the showCurtin was already well known as an original cast member on Saturday Night Live. Four years after her exit from the NBC sketch comedy series, Kate & Allie wasn’t initially her cup of tea.
“It was presented to me as a series called Two Mommies. And instantly I wanted to barf,” Curtin said in an interview with The Television Academy Foundation. “I didn't want to do it. I thought it was stupid.”
“And then they said, ‘Well, just meet the director,” she recalled. “I met the director, Billy Perski, and had no idea who he was. And I thought, ‘I don't want to do this. This is not anything I want to do. I should be doing something much better, much more important.’ And then my agent said, ‘But they're going to pay you this amount of money,’ which was a lot of money. And I thought, ‘Okay, I'll do it. We'll see. We'll see what happens.’"
Curtin, who won two Emmy Awards for her role in Kate & Allie, admitted that the show “turned out to be really fun” and the cast and crew became like family to her.
“I had the time of my life doing that show,” she said. “My daughter was 18 months when we started, and it was four-camera videotape. We worked banker’s hours. My daughter would come to work and if Susan's baby, who was, I think, about four months older than mine, came, we would just put the babies on the floor and then step over them while we were rehearsing. And when they got big enough, we put them in director's chairs. … It was so warm and familial."

Saint James admitted she was also hesitant to join the show at first. Speaking with People magazine, she shared, “I could relate to the problems of a divorced woman, but I didn’t want to play a show with glib kid actors.”
She finally agreed, but recalled, “Every step of the way, before every meeting, every reading, every rehearsal, I was on the phone to Jane begging her to show up just one more time. Finally, we taped before a live audience, and they fell apart laughing during the first scene. When we went backstage, Jane said to me, ‘Susan, I’ve never had so much fun in my whole life, and don’t you dare ever tell anybody I said that.’”

Kate & Allie was a rare sitcom that filmed in NYCKate & Allie stood out from other shows of the day, such as Diff’rent Strokes, Family Ties, and Cheers. Unlike most primetime series, the show was filmed in New York City instead of on a Los Angeles soundstage.
In an interview posted by Rediscover the 80s, Smith, who played Curtin’s daughter Jennie on Kate & Allie, admitted, “I never would have auditioned for a Kate & Allie if it hadn’t shot in New York. I still had many brothers and sisters at home, and we were never interested in leaving New York and disrupting the family.”
Of working with Curtin and Saint James, the Kate & Allie star added, “Jane and Susan were both motherly and both fabulous. I learned comedic genius from being around Jane and all-around greatness from Susan.”
Nancy Guthrie Exclusive: Recently Vacant Home Could Have Been Suspect's ‘Staging Location,’ Retired SWAT Commander Says
Investigators searching for missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie are now turning their attention to a recently vacant home near where she disappeared.
In an exclusive interview with Parade, retired Pima County SWAT commander Bob Krygier explained that properties like vacant houses can serve as a "home base or staging location" for suspects, allowing them to blend into the area while quietly observing neighborhood routines. The insight comes as authorities continue to track down new leads more than six weeks into the case, underscoring how even seemingly minor details can take on new significance as the investigation evolves.
"They could look at [that location] as [a] possible home base or staging location for the suspect(s). It would provide them a cover story to be at those locations at different times," Krygier tells me, explaining that staying at a nearby home would offer an opportunity for a suspect or suspects to be "a little bit more 'under the radar' to see the activity of the neighborhood, to see the comings and goings of people, the timing of things of all the people, [including] Nancy."
🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬
"A location like [a vacant home], out of the prying eye of the neighborhood, could also be a location to set up surveillance equipment if anyone chose [to do so]. It could be easily stashed in a structure or on the property without anyone knowing," he adds.
This is just one reason that it's important for authorities to fully search any and all vacant homes in the area as part of the investigation. We asked Krygier why this home is being looked into now.
"It is just more follow up," Krygier explains. "The investigators continue to follow all the leads and tips that they are getting ( or getting to). Believe it or not, new viable leads pop up all the time. Someone in the area could see or hear something and it shakes loose a memory that they just put away as 'nothing' at the time," he adds.
Parade talked to Krygier after NewsNation's Brian Entin said that the FBI was asking neighbors about a vacant property.
“Some of the things that they’re talking about is there’s one neighbor that moved out before Nancy disappeared, and they are asking more questions about that situation. Not to say that that has anything to do with what happened. But that is something the FBI agents are asking about," Entin said on the March 17 episode of his YouTube show, Brian Entin Investigates.
Guthrie has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the FBI (1-800-CALL-FBI).

Iconic Actor Forced Into Early Retirement Turns 71 Today
The world is celebrating Bruce Willis as the iconic actor marks his 71st birthday on March 19. Known for defining roles in films like Die Hard and The Sixth Sense, Willis stepped away from acting following a diagnosis that changed the course of his career, making today’s milestone all the more meaningful for his loved ones—and for his longtime fans.
The actor will undoubtedly be surrounded by love on his special day, and will more than likely spend some time with his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and his five daughters, Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi More, and Mabel Willis and Evelyn Willis, whom he shares with Heming Willis.
Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022. The disorder primarily affects a person's cognitive abilities, which ultimate caused Bruce to step away from acting, effectively ending his on-screen career. In early 2023, the Willis family shared that their patriarch had received a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
“As his language started changing, it (seemed like it) was just a part of a stutter, it was just Bruce. Never in a million years would I think it would be a form of dementia for someone so young," Heming Willis said in a 2024 interview with Town & Country. "I say that FTD whispers, it doesn’t shout. It’s hard for me to say, ‘This is where Bruce ended, and this is where his disease started to take over,'" she added of the gradual changes that became more noticeable over time.
Bruce's condition has worsened over the past three years. In September 2025, Heming Willis shared that the family made the decision to move Bruce into a separate home.
"It was the hardest thing," she told People magazine. "We have two young children, and it was just important that they had a home that supported their needs and that Bruce could have a place that supported his needs … The kids can have playdates and sleepovers [again] and not have to walk around tiptoeing."
According to the Cleveland Clinic, patients diagnosed with FTD have a life expectancy of seven to 13 years after symptoms begin. Naturally, this makes every single day precious and every birthday a major milestone.

Former 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On star Joseph Duggar was arrested for child molestation—and his mugshot was just released by the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas.
On March 17, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida arrested Joseph, 31, and charged him with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. The department announced the news in a March 18 statement on Facebook. The incidents involving the Arkansas native allegedly happened in Florida during a family vacation in 2020.
Joseph is the third-oldest son of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, and seventh overall of their 19 children. He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Ark., at 3:59 p.m. local time, per People. According to jail records, Joseph is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 206 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair.
Joseph Duggar's mugshot (Washington County Sheriff's Office)The Bay County Sheriff’s Office offered more information about Joseph's alleged crimes in the Facebook post. “The 14-year-old victim participated in a forensic interview, where she disclosed several incidents involving Duggar that occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach when she was 9-years-old," it detailed.
It continued, "The victim reported Duggar repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap. As the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit next to him on a couch and covered them with a blanket. During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs. The victim stated Duggar eventually apologized for his actions and the incidents stopped after the apology.”

Kate Middleton Steals the Spotlight in Princess Diana’s Favorite Tiara
Kate Middleton stole the spotlight at a state banquet at Windsor Castle honoring Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, wearing Princess Diana's favorite tiara.
On March 18, Kate and Prince William, along with Princess Anne, King Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles, attended the year's first official state banquet. The event was held at Windsor Castle.
For the glittering event, Kate wore a deep green Andrew Gn gown, per PEOPLE Magazine. The color was likely a nod to the Nigerian State Flag, reported the outlet.
The Princess of Wales added a pin featuring King Charles' Royal Family Order and the Royal Victorian Order sash and star. On her ears were the late Queen Mother's sapphire and diamond earrings.

It is reportedly one of her favorites. However, this is the first time she's worn it this year to an official royal event.

The Lovers Knot Tiara was created for Queen Mary in 1914 by the House of Garrard from jewels already owned by her family, according to Town & Country. It was ultimately inherited by the late Queen Elizabeth II, who gifted it to Diana when she became Princess of Wales.
Maxwell Stone of U.K. jeweler Steven Stone described the tiara's weight to In Style. “The tiara is famously heavy enough to have caused discomfort to Princess Diana, underscoring the exceptional quality of the diamonds and pearls it holds,” he explained. The headpiece is made entirely of diamonds and features a collection of 19 hanging pearls, all set in platinum and gold.

Disney Hotel Guests Get First Dibs on the New Muppet Roller Coaster
If you’ve been waiting for the "shroud" to lift on Sunset Boulevard, the beat is finally back. Disney has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Muppet takeover of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is ready for its 2026 debut—and they are rolling out the red carpet (and the green perks) for resort guests.
In a strategic move to manage what experts predict will be the biggest crowds since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disney is making the Electric Mayhem’s wild ride a cornerstone of its on-property benefits. This means if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you’ll get a 30-minute head start to "rope drop" the coaster before the general public during Early Theme Park Entry.

The VIP TreatmentFor those staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts or Villas, the news gets even better: the coaster is confirmed for Extended Evening Hours. There is nothing quite like hitting 0-to-60 mph in a neon-lit "limo" under the glow of Hollywood Studios at night—especially when the usual triple-digit wait times have vanished.

The Tier One ScrambleThe most important parks tip for 2026? The Muppet coaster has been designated as a Tier One Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection. Because resort guests can book these slots up to seven days in advance, travel pros expect these reservations to sell out before the sun even comes up. You’ll have to choose between Dr. Teeth and Slinky Dog Dash, but given the "newness" factor, the Muppets are currently the smartest bet.

What’s New Inside? View this post on InstagramWhile the thrilling track remains the same, the experience is a total "Green" makeover. Once you launch, you’ll be blasted with a 125-speaker audio system pumping out original tracks and Muppet rock hits, all while speeding past new digital projections and physical sets filled with classic Muppet-centric puns.
By moving the Muppets to this "E-Ticket" thrill ride, Disney is proving that Jim Henson’s creations are no longer just a nostalgia act—they are the new anchors of Hollywood Studios.

Nancy Guthrie Update: 'Suspicious' Vehicle From Day Before Disappearance Reportedly Sought by Authorities
Authorities searching for missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie are now reportedly looking for a "suspicious vehicle" that was seen in the area several hours before she vanished, adding a new layer to an already complex investigation.
Law enforcement has been reviewing surveillance footage and neighborhood camera data as they work to identify the vehicle and determine whether it played a role in her disappearance. The development comes as the case stretches into its sixth week with no arrests, despite evidence suggesting Guthrie was taken from her Arizona home overnight.
According to Nancy Grace, the vehicle was in the area around 10 a.m. (local time) on Saturday, Jan. 31—more than 24 hours before authorities believe Guthrie was abducted. The car was seen on N Via Entrada (corrected from the video below).
Suspicious Vehicle on Vida Entrada the morning BEFORE #nancyguthrie went missing! Credit: @NancyGrace pic.twitter.com/MFjHSrgBlz
— Jay is 4 Justice Podcast (@jayis4justice) March 19, 2026"The FBI is looking for every possible surveillance camera, Ring doorbell camera that they can find pointing towards the road to get a shot of this suspicious vehicle and they're asking for a block of time [from 10] to 11:30 a.m., the morning before the kidnapping that took place later that night," investigative reporter Dave Mack told Nancy Grace.
"Now suspicious? Not exactly sure what that means, but it stuck out...and it stuck out during the day time. That says a lot," Mack added.
According to John DePetro, who has been covering the case from Tucson, Via Entrada "is like a maze at night, no street lights and you can’t see street signs in the dark."
Authorities have been looking into various things around the area, including vehicles, but it's unclear if this "suspicious vehicle" is a new finding or a follow-up on something that's been on the radar for weeks.
Guthrie has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1.
