Corgi Backing That Booty up Is Such a Whole Mood
Corgis already walk like they’ve got their own background music, but this one? This one is reversing into legend status. Short legs. Fluffy loaf body. Full commitment to the booty-back maneuver. It’s not just movement. It’s performance art.
Walnut, the fluffy Corgi, is out here backing it up like he’s headlining a sold-out show, and the way he checks over his shoulder to make sure his mom is filming? Cinema. Pure cinema. He is not confused. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

♬ BOAT - Trim@walnutthefluffycorgi shared the clip on TikTok, and the comments immediately turned into a full fan club meeting. Walnut scoots backward, looks over his shoulder, like, “You getting this?” and continues the reverse strut like rent is due.

Some viewers joked he was humping a toy. I can't really see a toy in the clip, but hey, if you think this sweet Walnut is doing that rather than actually dancing, who am I to argue? Others understood the assignment. “Corgi B,” one person wrote. Another said, “The club hates to see him coming,” which is violently accurate. And the little over-the-shoulder look-back? Unreal. One commenter said, “That look-back was lethal,” and yes. It absolutely was.
The energy is somewhere between chaotic club-goer and confident dance captain. He is giving main character. He is giving midnight ballerina, who might also buy your life.
Honestly? I support him.

They can be vocal. They can be stubborn. They can absolutely herd your ankles if they feel inspired. But they’re also incredibly affectionate and loyal, forming strong bonds with their families.
If you want a dog with personality, sass, and built-in entertainment value, a Corgi might be your perfect match. Just be prepared for some reverse choreography in your living room.

Chihuahua Literally Screaming Over Missing a Snack Is LOL Funny
When we want something, and it doesn't happen right away, a lot of us can lose our patience pretty quickly.
One little dog has big issues with waiting. Meet Franklin, an adorable Chihuahua who wants his treat immediately and isn't shy about letting those feelings be known.
For a tiny pup, he's got a great big voice. Take a listen!

An illustration of Franklin could go beside the very definition of "hangry." Too funny!
Franklin, I get it! I bet many of us do. Granted, I don't have the energy to get this vocal or dance around with so much verve. I will say, what hits me harder than missing a snack is not getting my afternoon cup of coffee.

I'm not the only one who thinks Franklin is a hoot.
"He was screaming so hard he lost track of where he was, lol," someone joked.
He does make himself a bit dizzy, right?
"You scream, I scream, Franklin screams for ice cream," a fan commented.

What Are the Best Snacks for Chihuahuas? As you can tell from Franklin's behavior, Chihuahuas take their meals pretty seriously!
According to experts, it's not just what they eat but how often they're served that is also very important to them.
Creating a diet that combines the right balance of protein, carbs, and healthy fats is key. Calories, of course, depend on the size of your pet and how much exercise they're getting each day.
Treats and snacks are important, too, as they can tide pets over between those larger meals.
We bet after this, Franklin's family won't keep him waiting next time!
Rare Pangolin Pup Was Born on the Perfect Day, and the Timing Feels Like Fate
In life, timing is everything, and sometimes the stars align perfectly. You can plan as much as you like, but fate has its way. This time, a rare birth at a Zoo came at the perfect moment.
Brookfield Zoo in Chicago recently welcomed a baby white-bellied pangolin pup, and the newborn baby was born on World Pangolin Day, a global conservation event held on Feb. 20.
The Zoo announced the arrival of the tiny “pangopup” at a time advocates around the world are trying to raise awareness about this unique species. While the timing wasn’t planned, it sure was meaningful.
Well someone certainly knows how to make an entrance.
Brookfield Zoo has announced the arrival of a new pangopup — a baby white-bellied pangolin — just in time for World Pangolin Day on Saturday. https://t.co/dmKf50Mn25
This is the tenth pangolin birth at Brookfield Zoo in the past decade, an amazing achievement for a species that is quite difficult to breed in human care.
The Zoo released photos of the newborn clinging closely to its mother, a typical behavior for pangolins. Babies often ride on their mother’s tail as she moves, staying protected and close during their first vulnerable weeks.
Related: World's Oldest Manatee Officially Confirmed—and His Name Is Too Cute
The newborn and her mother, Rosy, were examined by the Zoo’s animal care and veterinary teams. They are doing well. Mark Wanner, associate vice president of animal care and conservation, said, "Every birth is a significant learning opportunity. Each pangopup allows us to gain new insights into their development and neonatal care, which helps us protect their cousins in the wild."
What Is a Pangolin?Even though they're often called “scaly anteaters,” they are not closely related to anteaters. They are the only mammals in the world covered in protective keratin scales. This is the same material found in human fingernails. When they are in danger, they curl into a tight ball and use their tough scales as armor against predators.
White-bellied pangolins, the species born at Brookfield, are native to central and western Africa. They are primarily nocturnal and use long, sticky tongues, sometimes longer than their bodies, to feed on ants and termites.
Their strong claws help them break into insect nests, but those same claws and their shy nature make them especially sensitive to environmental disruption.
Speaking of their babies, newborn pangopups have soft and pale scales. They harden within a few days. In the wild, they often hitch a ride by clinging to their mother’s tail.
Are Pangolins Endangered?Yes. Pangolins are considered the most trafficked mammals in the world. Sadly, humans hunt them for their scales and for their meat. Their scales are widely used in traditional medicine in Asia.
All eight species of pangolin are now threatened with extinction. Depending on the species, they are listed as Vulnerable, Endangered or Critically Endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
For Brookfield Zoo, this latest pangolin birth is more than just a cute moment. The birth shows how years of specialized care and collaboration among conservation experts can yield significant results.

Fluffy Persian Cat Has Mastered the Art of the 'Pick Me' Paw Pose
Some cats demand attention, and they know all the tricks to get you to focus on them. They'll meow while looking up at you with their big eyes, or they'll try the biscuits and purr method, or they've found that flopping over at your feet and exposing their fluffy belly always works. But some cats have a whole new method that unlocks another way to get attention, and it ends up working so well.
We see that play out in this video, where a very fluffy, very cute Persian cat has a unique move to ensure all eyeballs are on her, and it works really well.

It's so cute, even those of us watching want to give her everything, too.
When there's something she wants, Carrot has figured out that standing on her two hind legs with her front two paws stretched far above her head so she can wave them around is the easiest, foolproof way to get anything. Yep. It works.

Persian Cats Are Really Known for Being CharmingCarrot is one of the sweetest and cutest fluffy cats we've met on the internet, and even in a short clip, it's clear that she's a true sweetheart. And that's pretty expected for a Persian, experts explain.
According to The International Cat Association, Persians are quiet and gentle and love living in calm spaces because that's when they're at their best. They are easygoing, love lounging with their families, and are happy to share their feelings, which they do with their "expressive eyes and soft, harmonious voices." They love hard when they're given care, attention, and a gentle touch, and have a way of communicating that's so sweet and gentle, which we see here with Carrot.
So if she wants anything, she's probably well aware that doing that cute thing with her paws is a fast way to success.
Corgi Recovering With Oxygen Chamber Den Is the Ultimate Cancer Warrior
Before I adopted our Corgi, I didn't know how intensely loyal, loving, and hardworking these dogs are. Much in the way my senior rescue Staffy continues battling a relentless cancer, I can't imagine how much more my heart would break if my Pembroke girl did, too.
When I heard that a beloved Corgi named Graffiti is currently battling a cancer of his own, I sobbed for hours. The situation is challenging enough, but to see the way this strong, courageous, and resilient pup is taking it all on the chin, I can't help but feel inspired—and once you hear his story, you will, too.
@bradygraffiti_corgisGraffiti’s recovery days look like this. We set up his oxygen chamber, make it feel like a den, and let him choose. If he goes in, we turn it on. If he doesn’t, we don’t force it. He’s not reliant on oxygen, and it wouldn’t correct anemia after a bleed. Anemia affects how oxygen is carried in the blood, not how it’s breathed in. But increasing the oxygen available with each breath can still offer meaningful support while he stabilizes. Grateful to have it as a tool. Even more grateful that he feels safe enough to use it when he wants to. Heal up Gdog ❤️🩹. Oxygen chamber is from Pawprint Oxygen. #hemangiosarcoma #fcancer #dogcancer #corgi #doghealth
♬ Little Life - Robert GromotkaThe sweet 8-year-old Corgi's first signs of distress—feeling lethargic and refusing to eat—began in November 2025 when his parents immediately rushed him to the vet for answers.
What the Tests RevealedAn X-ray then revealed the worst news: Graffiti had a large mass in his abdomen, and it had metastasized to his lungs. They said this precious boy who likes to sleep in his parents' bed would only live another four to six weeks, which is unimaginable. I'm sorry if you're sobbing right along with me, but there's good news—he's making progress!
@bradygraffiti_corgisLast week really tested us and honestly it took everything we had. We were stretched in ways we haven’t been before. But the way Graffiti recovered and showed us how strong he is, how much he still wants to be here, has been incredible to witness. There were parts we didn’t include in the video because some moments were just too raw. It made us realize how important support is at this stage. There was a moment that shook us, and showed us we shouldn’t be navigating this alone. Bringing professional hospice support into our home has changed how we’re approaching this, and it gives us a steadier foundation if things shift again. Since the bleed last Wednesday, we’ve watched Graffiti grow stronger every day. Brighter eyes, steadier energy, more engagement, more him. We’ve seen him rebound once before, and watching him rebuild again reminds us exactly who he is. He’s steady. He’s resilient. He’s pressing forward on his own terms. He’s a warrior. 🤍 We know we’re in a serious place right now. We’re not ignoring that. But we will meet whatever comes with clarity, and his comfort will always come before anything else. I wrote about more of what happened, and how we are preparing on Substack. Please continue sending prayers for Gdog 🙏.
♬ Lights Are On - Instrumental - Edith WhiskersGraffiti is on week 12 of fighting, and though he's had a lot of good days and bad ones, he's still here, smiling, and being the best boy in the whole world. His oxygen chamber den may not cure all he's going through, but it's another piece of support to give him a little comfort.
Despite any pain he's in, Graffiti is the same adorable Corgi who loves to snuggle, has the sweetest disposition, and continues to be the doggy warrior he is.

What Is Hemangiosarcoma?Experts describe hemangiosarcoma (HSA) as a highly malignant and aggressive form of cancer in the blood vessels, causing internal bleeding severe enough to cause bleeding, lethargy, pale gums, and respiratory distress.
It affects the spleen, heart, and skin, usually seen in older and/or large-breed dogs like Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Labrador Retrievers, but often goes unnoticed until a sudden collapse due to unseen tumors.
As many of Graffiti's fans have noted, every new update gets me emotional. There's no world where losing a dog to something like this feels easy. So all we can do is love them with everything we have while they're here. Keep fighting, Graffiti—you're doing amazing.

World’s 'Ugliest' Pig Looks Even Cuter After Dental Makeover, and It's Too Cute to Miss
It’s not every day a dentist asks a patient to open wide and finds a mouth full of tusks growing backward through the skin. However, for one babirusa at the London Zoo, that is exactly what happened.
The internet has given him the nickname “the world’s ugliest pig,” but Ubi, a babirusa living at the London Zoo, is a special animal. He recently found himself in need of a dental intervention after Zoo keepers noticed he was acting a bit sluggish and avoiding his favorite crunchy snacks.
The Zoo called in a veterinary dental specialist to assess the situation. A CT scan revealed problems with his tusks, and they quickly got to work.
One of the world's most peculiar-looking pigs has undergone a dental procedure at London Zoo. Ubi the babirusa has received two fillings, with his CT scan shared by veterinarians following a triumphant trip to the dentist. https://t.co/GmJs09UUml
— AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) (@AVMAvets) February 23, 2026According to the Zoo, Ubi was a model patient. The procedure involved trimming the infected tusks to stop them from causing further pain, and then sealing them with a specialized resin to prevent infection.

After the successful dental work, Ubi got back to being his happy self and now enjoys his time at the London Zoo.
What Is a Babirusa?Native to the Indonesian islands of Sulawesi and Togian, babirusas are often called “demon pigs.” They have a unique appearance, and unlike other pigs, they are largely hairless and possess astonishing, gnarly tusks.
Now, you might think they come out of a fantasy world, but they are very real and fascinating animals.
Males have upper tusks that are actually teeth. They grow upward, pierce through the skin of the snout and curl backward toward the forehead.
The problem with their tusks occurs when they are not trimmed. In rare cases, they can grow long enough to pierce the babirusa's own skull!
Despite their intimidating look, babirusas are shy forest animals. They are omnivores, feeding on fruits, leaves, roots and small invertebrates.
Are Babirusas Endangered? The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species puts babirusas as a "Vulnerable" group. Their population is declining due to habitat loss caused by deforestation, agricultural expansion and hunting. Found in limited areas of Indonesia, these amazing species are very sensitive to environmental change.
The good news is that zoos help a lot. They play a role in conservation through carefully managed breeding programs and veterinary care. Dental health is particularly important for animals like babirusas, whose tusks are constantly growing and can become damaged or infected. Ubi’s dental procedure may sound unusual, but it highlights the level of specialized care modern zoos provide.

5-Ounce Yorkie Puppy Is So Small, He Could Be Mistaken for a Mouse
Teacup Yorkie puppies are already itty bitty, but a 4.5-ounce Yorkie puppy is basically a moving shadow with opinions. At just 4 weeks old, little Chai is so small he genuinely looks like he could scurry behind your toaster and start stealing crumbs. His glossy black coat, button nose, and microscopic paws make him look less like a dog and more like a very polite woodland mouse who accidentally joined a puppy program.
Extra-small puppies often need supplemental feeding to keep their blood sugar stable and support healthy growth. In Chai’s case, that means multiple hand-fed meals throughout the day, and judging by his enthusiasm, he is extremely aware of the schedule.

He paddles his teeny paws, gets formula all over his tiny face, and makes that urgent “please stop narrating and feed me immediately” expression. One commenter joked, “Lord, stop talking and feed me pleaseeee,” which feels accurate. Another called it “hand-feeding zoomies,” and honestly, that is the most correct scientific term I have heard all week.
Watching him knead with his little paws while eating almost took me out. I used to volunteer at the humane society, bottle-feeding abandoned kittens, and they would do the exact same thing: tiny paws pressing and kneading like they were trying to manufacture more milk through sheer determination. It’s instinctive, and it’s heartbreakingly sweet.
How To Bottle Feed a Newborn Puppy Bottle-feeding a newborn puppy.Image Via: Olga Mazina/Shutterstock
Bottle-feeding or syringe-feeding a puppy should only be done under veterinary guidance, especially for very small or underweight pups. The formula must be specifically designed for puppies, warmed gently, and fed slowly to prevent aspiration.
Tiny puppies need frequent meals, careful monitoring of weight gain, and a warm, safe environment to thrive. Supplemental feeding can be lifesaving when done correctly, but it requires patience, precision, and a whole lot of dedication.
Bottle-feeding newborn puppies is an awesome way to give back to the animals in your own area, so check with your local animal shelter or humane society for ways you can help.
Chai may be small enough to be mistaken for a mouse, but he is clearly mighty where it counts.

Multi-Colored Merle Mini Bernedoodle Looks Like a Stuffed Animal That Sprang to Life
I think all dogs are beautiful, boasting their own unique features that make them stand out. Some canines are sleek and shiny, possessing a runway-ready look that goes toward glam. Other pooches are like giant furballs with personalities to match, and bowl over everyone they meet with their boisterous charm.
Then there are dogs like Brisket, a Merle-coated Miniature Bernedoodle so fluffy and adorable, he looks like he stepped out of a storybook.

The Bernedoodle's patchwork coat of many colors was a sight to behold. White fluffy fur splattered with perfectly placed black tufts covered his body. Honey-hued hair spread over a little of Brisket's muzzle, as well as part of his legs and paws.
One blue eye and one brown eye peered out from beneath the adorable cloud of floof on top of his head. His coat alternated between soft waves and ringlet curls, though his ears were full-on scrunchable shag.
Brisket is probably often mistaken for a plush toy or stuffed animal straight out of the store. His poofy coat that resembles a mosaic is so idyllic, it doesn't seem real. Add in Brisket's sweet facial expressions, giant paws, and floppy ears, and it's like he originated from a mythical toy shop.
Merle Coats Are Caused by Genetic MutationDoodle hybrids are known as designer dogs and typically come with those fluffy and feathery coats. Crossing a Poodle with a Bernese Mountain Dog results in extra floof and poof.

Bernedoodles with a Merle coat get that iconic marbled fur from a dominant gene inherited from either a Merle Poodle or a Merle Bernedoodle. Purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs don't carry the gene. This Merle mutation impacts the dilution and distribution of pigmentation in a dog’s fur, creating that eye-catching patchwork coat.

Great Dane’s Calm Supervision of Tiny Siblings’ Spat Is the Epitome of Oldest Kid Energy
Great Danes are beloved for their towering size and gentle temperament. Despite their massive presence, they're patient and calm companions around children and smaller pets.
A perfect example of that gentle nature is Axel, a Great Dane who shares his home with a tiny Dachshund and a Teacup Poodle. While the little siblings battled it out in a small bed beside him, Axel remained completely unfazed. If there were ever a moment that captured classic older-sibling energy, this might be it.
See his priceless, unbothered expression in this February 24 Instagram shared by Jana @the_cotswolds_family_rein:

Another, @dontpronouncethee, joked, "The big dog was like, 'anyhoo, lemme mind my own business.'"
And @transendence_dogs summed it up simply: "Big dogs are so awesome!"
Great Danes Are Known for Their Gentle NatureHistorically, the breed served a very different role. German nobles once used Great Danes to hunt wild boar, and they later became valued protectors of home and family, a role their loyal nature continues to reflect.
According to the American Kennel Club, Great Danes are known for their friendly, dependable nature and often show patience with children and other small animals. Despite their imposing size, they are typically gentle and affectionate, earning them the nickname "gentle giants." This steady temperament helps them remain calm in busy households and tolerant of energetic companions. That steady presence is easy to see with Axel.

Dramatic Cat Fakes an Eye Injury Whenever His Human Has a Snack
Some cats politely ask for a bite. Winston prefers performance art. In a TikTok video, the dramatic little guy stands on the coffee table while his human watches TV with a bag of popcorn. He looks completely innocent—at least at first. But Winston has a reputation, and apparently, this is one of his signature moves. Whenever his bowl needs filling, or his human dares to snack without consulting him, he suddenly develops a very suspicious “eye injury.” The caption reads, “Fine immediately after too lmao 🙄,” and honestly, that eye roll tells the whole story.
It's the kind of cat behavior that makes you laugh because it is so wildly specific. Winston is not just begging. He is committing to a full character arc. He somehow manages to look pitiful, urgent, and just convincing enough to make everyone pause for a second and wonder if maybe something really is wrong. Then, of course, the second he gets what he wants, he is magically cured. What a little sneak.
@rosiee_mjfine immediately after too lmao 🙄 #cattok
♬ original sound - 💤Winston is not subtle about his manipulation, but he is good at it. He has clearly figured out that his human has a soft spot, especially when snacks are involved. And honestly, who could blame her for giving in just a little? When a cat is sitting there on your lap, staring up at you like the world is ending over a piece of popcorn, it takes real strength to say no. Winston seems to know that.
One of the best comments reads, “He’s so into it that i genuinely thought you had a one-eyed cat until the very end.” That is exactly why this clip works so well. Winston is not halfhearted about the bit. He goes all in. It is the total confidence of a cat who knows his audience and knows exactly how to get a reaction. He is dramatic, calculated, and apparently very snack motivated.
Cats have a way of turning everyday moments into tiny sitcoms, and Winston feels like the star of his own. He is clever enough to invent a routine, committed enough to make it believable, and charming enough to get rewarded for it. By the end, when he is suddenly just fine after scoring a little treat, you cannot even be mad. You just have to laugh.
Tiny Tricks, Big PersonalityPets are always paying attention, and Winston is a perfect reminder that they learn our habits fast. If there is a snack bag rustling or a food bowl running low, some animals will absolutely come up with their own creative way to respond. The funniest part is how personal these routines become, like a private joke between pet and human.
According to the ASPCA, food-motivated behavior is incredibly common in cats, especially when they connect certain sounds or routines with treats and attention. Winston just happens to have added a little theater to the equation.
Honestly, that kind of mischief is part of what makes loving animals so fun.

Burmese love to run and play, per Hunt. “They must be given enough stimulation to satisfy their intelligence and desire to play,” she says. “They are confident cats who get along well with other pets and children, as long as they are introduced properly.” Plus, this low-shedding feline is also highly trainable and can even be taught to walk on a leash if you start when your cat is young, Hunt reveals. “They happily enjoy the outdoors on a leash once trained,” she adds.
The Burmese also has a pretty, short coat that comes in a range of colors and tortoiseshell patterns. On top of their looks, this is a cuddly short-haired cat breed, too. “Generally speaking, Burmese cats are very social with their owners, wanting to spend time nearby or on their laps,” Hunt says.
Breed Stats- Personality: Affectionate, sweet, people-oriented

One of the best short-haired cats you can get are British Shorthairs! They are not only apartment-friendly cats and known as being low maintenance cat breeds, but they also have a chubby face that’s hard to resist. Couple that with a short, easy-to-maintain coat and it’s not hard to see why plenty of people love this kitty. “Most British Shorthair cats are calm, friendly and sporadically playful,” Hunt says.
However, keep in mind that this isn’t the cuddliest short-haired cat out there. “While they enjoy their owner’s presence and like to spend time nearby, they are not often lap cats and often do not like to be petted, so they have been described as having ‘supervisor behavior,’” Hunt says. Still, she points out that these adorable cats with short hair are calm and quiet, although they do like to play and be active during their bursts of energy. “British Shorthair cats tend to be patient with children and other pets in the home,” Hunt says.

Talk about one of the cutest short-haired cat breeds you can own! The Bengal is a total showstopper thanks to its exotic coat, which just so happens to be short. This breed is a hybrid of the Asian Leopard Cat and domestic cats, creating a feline that looks like a smaller version of a wild animal. How fun is that?
“Bengals are highly intelligent and extremely active,” Warner says. “They have a tremendous amount of energy and enjoy exploring, climbing and problem-solving.” While that sounds like a blast for athletic households, Warner stresses the importance of keeping your Bengal busy if you decide to welcome one into your family. “If they don’t receive adequate stimulation, that energy can possibly manifest in destructive ways, such as knocking things off the shelves or being loud,” Warner says. So, make sure your Bengal has plenty of vertical space, puzzle toys and daily interaction to keep them happy and busy.

When it comes to one of the most adorable short-haired cats, this is it! The Abyssinian has a short coat and build that makes it look like a mini mountain lion. This feline loves to be busy, too. “Abyssinians are known for being curious, playful and quietly self-assured,” Warner says. “They enjoy being up high and observing their surroundings, and they remain kitten-like in their energy levels even as adults.” That means plenty of activities and stimulating toys are a must for this breed.
Warner calls the Abyssinian “affectionate, but not overly so.” Meaning, your cat will enjoy some cuddles, as long as there’s plenty of activity in the mix, too. “If you're a fan of this breed, they thrive best in homes that provide stimulation, but also allows them to have their independence,” Warner says. It's no wonder this is a vet recommended cat breed that people adore.

Scottish Fold Cat Looks Like 'One Big Snowball' and It's Just Too Cute
Cats are some of the most unbothered pets on the planet, and it's honestly a great trait to have. We can gush all over them, shower them with compliments, and give them the world, and they just don't care. One of my cats has so much fluff—like a cloud—I never miss an opportunity to give him my undivided attention, whether he wants it or not.
Betty, a sassy Scottish Fold trying to relax, reminds me of my other kitty because she cannot be bothered with Mom's antics (just like mine). Yes, she looks exactly like a huge snowball by the way she's snuggled up on the chair, but based on her reaction to the comparison, she's not interested.
@bettyboogieThat’s one big snow ball
♬ original sound - BettyBetty may look like one big snowball, but this girl is like most felines who've had enough of us. Technically, Ms. @bettyboogie is a Scottish Straight, which is the "normal-eared" sibling to the traditional Scottish Fold, as you can see. She still has other breed-specific traits of these sweet Scottish cats: charming, intelligent, inquisitive, loyal, and loving.
Related: Scottish Fold Cat 'In Disguise' Can't Stop Stealing Dad's Slippers
What Causes Those Iconic Folded Ears? The Cat Fancier's Association explains the origin story of how a Scottish Fold came to have those legendary ears, and as it turns out, it wasn't planned. Bred from a British Shorthair and a domestic male cat, a dominant gene caused a spontaneous mutation, resulting in those unique "folded-over" ears.
Along with their distinctive appearance, these kitties are cuddly, affectionate, and sweet-tempered pets, but they're just as fine independently as they are with their humans. As intelligent and curious as they are quiet and patient, Scottish Folds have a lot of cool traits that many might not be aware of (aside from Betty's funny napping position).
@bettyboogie ♬ original sound - BettyThings like sitting upright like a prairie dog, learning new tricks, playing fetch, and charming everyone they meet make these one of the most endearing companions anyone could have.
It's too bad other felines often mistake their folded ears as a sign of aggression because they're anything but that, and darling Betty is the perfect example.
She may not care if she looks like a snowball or a butterball, and that's why she's the cutest!

Tiny Chihuahua Mix Has the Most Hilariously Judgy Face
Chihuahua mixes are already known for having strong opinions in very small bodies, but this tiny sable fluff nugget has perfected the art of the side-eye. Or the stink-eye. He’s sitting on a grooming table, looking like he has both ancient wisdom and unfinished business. The wolf-toned fur. The slightly pudgy loaf shape. The expression that says, “I remember what you did.”
Judgy dog faces are internet gold, and this little guy—possibly Chihuahua, possibly Pomeranian, possibly woodland creature—is delivering elite-level facial commentary. He looks bashful and smug at the same time. Like he bit someone and still feels correct about it. The amount of love I have for little Mr. Donatello here is off the charts.

I can’t with this little menace. Still love him though. See you next groom, Mr. Donatello…” and honestly? Mr. Donatello does not look remorseful. In the slightest.
One commenter asked, “Is he 6 months or is he 100 years old?” which is the most accurate age assessment I’ve ever seen. Another wrote, “Whatever he did, he didn’t,” which feels legally binding. And multiple people pointed out he looks like a character from Where the Wild Things Are, and now I cannot unsee it. He absolutely does. A tiny, fluffy, judgmental Wild Thing.
The side-eye is serious. He is holding grudges for future grooming sessions. He might be smiling. He might be plotting. We will never know. We would love to know, but that's obviously something he will never share with us.

♬ Vibration Marley - igor gGrooming can be stressful for some dogs, especially small breeds who may feel vulnerable being handled. Early socialization and gentle exposure to touch, brushing, and nail trims can make a huge difference in how a pup reacts during appointments.
Positive reinforcement, short practice sessions at home, and calm handling help dogs build confidence. Puppies who are gradually introduced to grooming tools and environments are less likely to react with fear or defensiveness later on. Consistency matters, and patience matters even more.
Mr. Donatello may have strong feelings, but with proper socialization and trust-building, even the most dramatic side-eye specialists can learn to tolerate (or at least survive) spa day.

Golden Retriever's Funny Way of 'Creeping' on Mom Brings All the Drama
My dogs have never mastered the art of stealth mode, though my Dachshund tries her best. Her Pug brother is a bit loud and clumsy in everything he does (that's part of his charm), so he's never been able to sneak a snack or lurk behind us as a surprise. But my dainty Doxie has a penchant for perusing the garbage and figured out how to make her move quietly and with discretion.
Finn the Golden Retriever also seems to have a talent for tiptoeing across the floor in the hopes of going unnoticed, though he doesn't seem to realize he's in plain sight.
@xosimplyloNo, it’s not slow motion. I was in the kitchen and suddenly I was prey - we call this “creeping” Finn loves to do it when we’re least expect it and it never fails to make us laugh #creatorsearchinsights #goldenretriever #dogfunny #cutedogs #tiktokpets
♬ original sound - LAUREN FUQUAYIn the TikTok from @xosimplylo, Finn was moving at a snail's pace from one end of the room to the other. The gorgeous Golden gently placed each paw on the floor, hoping every step was silent. Finn kept his head down, as if avoiding eye contact with anyone in the room would make him invisible.
Apparently, the canine cutie has a habit of trying to sneak up on family members and was hoping to catch his mom off guard.
"No, it’s not slow motion," the caption explained. "I was in the kitchen and suddenly I was prey - we call this 'creeping'. Finn loves to do it when we least expect it, and it never fails to make us laugh."
Finn's mom was in the room and could see the precious pooch as clear as day. She even encouraged his quiet steps as he slowly moved forward. The precision in Finn's paw placement strategy was very impressive, showing that he's had plenty of practice.
Finn's Mom Played AlongThe entire time Finn slinked toward his mom, she whispered "creep", "come on", and "he's going to get me" to egg on the fur baby in his little game. She welcomed Finn with open arms by the time he finally reached his "prey". Followers fell in love with Finn and his adorable sneak attacks.

"James Bond of Golden Retrievers," someone praised.
Finn may not have fooled his mom, but his tiptoe technique is highly commendable.

Wirehaired Dachshund Named Einstein With a Mohawk Gets an Amazing Grooming Session
Sometimes we all need a little makeover. Movie stars can't have all the fun!
Though we love it when our dogs get a little dirty and have shaggy hair, there comes a point where it gets a bit out of hand, and well, stinky.
That was exactly the case for Einstein, the Wirehaired Dachshund, who is one of nine Dachshunds in a family.
Einstein is the only Wirehaired Dachshund in the group, so she already stands out, and it also helps that she has a mohawk.
They also just adopted a Great Dane named Harley, who adds even more sweet chaos to the group.
Obviously, keeping up with grooming for 10 dogs is a lot, but Einstein's mom finally realized it was time for her to go to the groomer, especially since she had an upcoming photo shoot.
"She starts smelling cheesy. The beard gets crusty," her mom said in the video from the account @yunabugs.
She compared Einstein's hair to that of actor William H. Macy, Beetlejuice, and of course, her namesake, Albert Einstein.
So off the two of them went to the groomers. Her mom told the audience she always carefully goes over what she wants in a haircut (definitely some cleanup around her beard and eyes) for Einstein, as she likes the mohawk, but this gal definitely needs a cut!
While Einstein got her makeover, her mom did a little self-care as well, including eyebrow threading and lip hair waxing.
She also took Harley, the Great Dane, to the vet to get her stitches removed. All in a day in the life of a dog mom of 10 dogs (and a cat)!

They kept her mohawk but added pretty red bow clips to her hair and red beads on the top of her snout.

Woman Who Collects Trash With Her Dog Gets the Sweetest Surprise From a Neighbor
Small acts of kindness often have big emotional ripple effects, and this latest story is a perfect example of community recognition of everyday service workers.
According to a Reddit post, every weekday morning, a woman quietly does something special for her apartment community. Genevieve collects trash five days a week. During her job, her dog is her biggest support.
Thankful for the job she is doing, one resident of the building left a surprise gift at the door. Genevieve always wears a vest while doing her job, so the neighbor gifted her a matching vest for her dog.
The post resonated with thousands of Reddit users, who praised the simple act of kindness. The cleaning lady made sure to show the neighbor the dog in his new vest. The happy puppy loved it, and was proud to show off his new outfit.

Fans Trying to Help HerGenevieve recently went through a separation and she had to change her living arrangements, and the neighbor who gave her a vest for her dog started a GoFundMe page for her.
According to the GoFundMe page, Genevieve had to sell her Jeep and get a cheaper vehicle. She also moved to a one-bedroom apartment. And despite everything, she keeps showing up every day with a smile and a kind word for everyone she meets. The fundraiser will try to cover her living expenses. So far, more than 700 people have donated to help her get back on her feet.

Goldendoodle's Epic Side-Eye Over Mom and Dad Leaving Is So Human-Like
Whenever I have plans to leave the house (which isn't all that often), I know a conversation must first be had with the ones in charge: my dogs. Before I engage in breaking their hearts—"What do you mean, Mother? Why can't we come with???"—I already know what the reaction will be, and it never gets any easier.
Goldendoodle Kobe seems to feel and react the same way to news of his parents abandoning him for an evening out on the town—except it's his epic, human-like expression that takes this conversation over the top.

♬ original sound - annesleydeciccoThe relatable video shared by @annesleydecicco looks like a scene straight out of my life. Kobe is absolutely not having this news about Mom and Dad leaving him for any amount of time, proving he's actually a human toddler and not a dog at all.

In true Doodle form, Kobe's listening skills and head tilts with each word are on point. Being part Golden Retrieverand Poodle, this good boy has the best of both worlds. He's friendly, social, and affectionate, and he's a devout fanatic of his number one girl (Mom).
How Much Do Dogs Understand? We already know that dogs are smart, but how much they comprehend is even more impressive. Experts theorize pups can recognize up to 250 words, including signs and signals, rivaling actual human toddlers!
The way they learn is through association, which means body language, tone, and actions that they equate to words, and this helps them learn and understand.
When they have the kind of sweet face capable of making emotionally charged expressions—like Kobe's side-eye—it does seem like we're talking to another person. Being the center of his parents' universe, Kobe seems to understand quite a bit, and it's too cute.

♬ original sound - annesleydeciccoIt's clear our fur companions are always trying to get on our level to communicate, but when they have these reactions, where it seems like they get it, that makes leaving them even harder. My advice to Kobe's mom and dad is to never leave him, ever, for any reason, and apologize for ever suggesting you might.
At least... that's what I've done with my dogs!

This Blooming Flower Cat Tree Looks Like It Sprouted Straight From a Fairytale
Parade Pets aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Let’s be honest: most cat trees aren’t winning any design awards. They’re typically covered in beige carpet, shaped like stacked boxes and designed to blend into the background. Functional? Yes. Magical? Not exactly.
This blooming flower cat tree, on the other hand, looks like it sprouted straight out of a fairytale garden. With bold pink petal-shaped perches and bright green platforms, the Bermudez Cat Tree by Tucker Murphy Pet feels more like whimsical decor than standard pet furniture, clearly designed for a very pampered main character.

But this piece isn’t just about looks. It’s thoughtfully designed and built for climbing, scratching and sprawling. Made from engineered wood and polyester, the tree features five distinct tiers, giving cats multiple levels to explore, perch and survey their kingdom.
Two oversized flower-shaped platforms sit at the top, creating plush lounging spots. Below, staggered platforms make it easy for cats to climb their way up, while a circular condo at the base offers a cozy hideaway for quiet naps.
Three sisal-wrapped posts provide a designated place for claws, and two attached hanging toys add movement and encourage active play.

Reviewers Say It’s as Cute as It Is FunctionalThe flower cat tree currently has a 4.6-star rating with nearly 600 reviews, and buyers seem just as delighted with its design as their cats are with the cozy perches.
“My girls love taking turns chilling on this cute little cat post! My little black cat loves curling up in the flowers, and the tabby usually prefers the green platforms. But either way, it is so cute in the room,” one reviewer shared on the product page.
Another wrote, “This is the best cat tree ever! My cats love to sit on the petals and sun themselves. It is also prettier than a lot of other cat trees we have had. Highly recommend!”
One especially charming review came from a pet parent who placed the tree by a window: “My cats made so many bird and turtle friends sitting in this beautiful tree by the window. I love how pretty it is and it doesn't ‘feel like’ cat furniture and matches my living room decor.” Honestly, that image feels like the opening scene of a Disney movie.
Multiple buyers also noted that assembly was fairly easy.
The Whimsical Upgrade You’ve Been Waiting ForWhile the aesthetic is playful, the construction is built with practicality in mind. The wide base helps provide stability, and the tree supports up to 100 pounds total, meaning it can accommodate multiple cats or larger breeds without wobbling.
Measuring just under 49 inches long, 21 inches wide and 44.5 inches high, it’s substantial without overwhelming a room.
If you’re looking for a cat tree that feels more magical than beige carpeted boxes, this blooming flower cat tree might just be the upgrade their kingdom has been waiting for.

Golden Retriever Turns Into 'Boss of Horror' Anytime Mom Tries to Put on Harness
If you’re a parent (to humans) and have ever had to pull some ninja-like moves just to get your toddler into his or her car seat, you’ll be pleased to know you’re not alone. Parents (to dogs) often are required to call on the magic skills of David Blaine to get their pup into a harness or leash. One Golden Retriever parent is being put to the test by her Golden Retriever, who resembles a character in a horror movie whenever approached with his harness.
In a video shared to social media, the very dramatic Golden Retriever can be seen doing his best to avoid his harness. As mom gets closer with the harness, the pup’s eyes get bigger and he does his best to avoid losing the harness battle by putting his arms up in protest and making himself one with the back of the couch. In the charming video, mom zooms in on the dog’s eyes and scared face.
As the harness gets closer, the Golden Retriever gets creative and tries to nip at the restraint before finally surrendering and letting mom secure the harness in place. Mom approaches slowly and cautiously, but it’s clear the dog is hoping to win this battle of wills.
Mom writes, “Why does putting on a harness turn my golden into the final boss of a horror movie?”

Why Some Dogs Resist Wearing a Harness @mandamcmull12Refuses moving a MUSCLE & eye contact any time we try to put a harness on her #fyp #foryou #goldenretriever #dogsoftiktok
♬ original sound - MandaWhile the best way to guarantee your Golden Retriever doesn’t freeze when faced with a harness is to ensure the harness is properly fitted for the dog, preferably with padding to prevent chafing, many humans prefer harnesses for big dogs because it can feel like they have more control of the dog, which can ultimately help better ensure the pup’s safety. Golden Retrievers aren’t inherently averse to harnesses, but sometimes this breed enjoys a battle of wills just as much as it enjoys a vigorous walk with its human.
When a dog freezes or resists his harness, it may be a sign it’s not a good fit. You’ll know your furry friend better than anyone. Some pups are just strong-willed, while others are trying their best to communicate that they’d prefer mom or dad use something other than a harness.
Unfortunately, the only thing stronger than the will of a dog who doesn’t want to be harnessed is the same pup’s cute factor. With a face this adorable, even when in horror movie mode, it’s tough not to toss the harness aside and shower your pup with cuddles instead.
Black Cat Siblings Ransack the Catnip Stash and Scatter Mayhem Everywhere
If you share your home with cats, you've probably cleaned up your fair share of messes.
A knocked-over water bowl, a shredded toilet paper roll, or the occasional mystery hairball that appears out of nowhere are all part of the deal. And every so often, something happens that makes you stop, laugh, and accept that life with cats may never be tidy.
For one busy household with eight cats, that moment arrived when three Black Kitties discovered a stash of catnip. And let's just say it turned into a full-scale feline celebration.
You can see it unfold in this February 23 Instagram from @mersha.theminipanther:
View this post on InstagramOne of the frisky felines in the trio managed to chew open the bag, sending green flakes flying like confetti. They dove in headfirst, rolling, rubbing, and skidding across the floor in a cloud of catnip bliss.
It coats the floor and clings to their fur as the three delighted troublemakers tumble through the evidence of their fun. One long-haired gray sibling watches like a supervisor who has no intention of getting in trouble but refuses to miss the action.

It's a scene that makes you laugh and feel grateful you're not the one who has to vacuum. As their cat mom joked, living with eight cats has taught her to simply "go with the flow."
Fans were entertained. Viewer @mannyhalloweencat summed it up perfectly, writing, "Wow! What a pawty!" Another commenter, @leeleenp, added, "Can't get any worse… and it is keeping them busy." They're not wrong.
Catnip's Effects on Cats and How to Use It SafelyCatnip, a member of the mint family, contains a compound called nepetalactone that can trigger playful or euphoric behavior in many cats. According to Independence Veterinary Clinic, not every cat reacts to this compound, but those who do often appear blissfully entertained.

Because the effects are temporary and harmless, catnip can be a helpful enrichment tool when used in moderation. A light sprinkle on toys, scratching posts, or play mats is usually plenty. Using too much at once can lead to overstimulation or stomach upset.

It's also best offered only a few times a week, as limiting exposure helps keep cats interested over time and prevents them from becoming desensitized to its effects.
Moments like this remind us that cats find joy in the simplest things, and sometimes those happy moments happen right in the middle of the biggest mess.
