'Aggressive' Cat Who Lost Her Kittens Becomes Sweetest Mom When Baby Arrives
Dogs and cats feel the loss of a litter and go through their own grieving process. These animals feel a tremendous amount of sadness over losing their babies while still having the desire to be a mother.
Callie the cat experienced this devastation and found healing by becoming a mom in a very different way.

♬ original sound - Amanda NguyenThe TikTok from @rescuecatmittens shared how Callie struggled after the loss of her litter and was almost euthanized before being rescued by her parents.
"We adopted a sad cat who had just lost her kittens," the onscreen text explained. "She was aggressive and on the euthanasia list, but we didn't give up on her."
The pretty kitty's parents noticed a remarkable shift in Callie's behavior when they welcomed a baby girl into the family.
"Once she was born, our cat would sneak in her room to watch over her," the story continued, as the baby monitor showed Callie cuddling with the infant in her crib. "She wanted to protect her and thought she was a kitten. She was never aggressive and it became her daily routine. Her whole personality changed because of her love for her 'kitten'."
Callie Is a Dedicated MomAs the baby girl grew, so did her bond with Callie. The maternal cat remained on the job as mama kitty and still bunks with the toddler every night.
"This didn't change once our baby became a toddler," the text shared. "They started playing together. We taught our daughter to be very gentle. Our cat still sleeps in her room 3 years later."

Followers were moved by the heartwarming scene and Callie's commitment to her "baby".
"She’s the best mama," one raved.
"They are so cute and awesome," another gushed.
"She just wanted a baby to raise," someone remarked.
Callie was able to heal thanks to the new addition to the family. The toddler and feline are extremely close and have an unbreakable bond.
"They do everything together, and our cat is so happy to be involved," the story concluded. "Our 'aggressive' cat just wanted to be a mom again, and she is a good mama kitty."

Rare ‘Peach Tortie’ Ragdoll Cat Looks Like the Sweetest Girl
I'm such a cat person, which is funny, since I haven't had a cat since I was 8. I've missed having one, but I've only had dogs since then. I think if I could get a cat, I would definitely get a Ragdoll.
More specifically, I think I need this Peach Tortie Ragdoll cat. She's everything I've ever wanted! She legit looks like Princess Peach come to life:
@miss.momo24Have you ever seen a tortie Ragdoll? 💎 #ragdoll #blueeyedgirl #kitten
♬ Pretty Girls Walk - Big Boss VetteMiss MoMo is so beautiful, and her eyes shine so bright, that someone in the comments thought she was AI. However, she's absolutely not: this is just what happens when you put a gorgeous blue-eyed girl in the sunlight!

In this lighting, she kind of takes on an all-over angelic orange color, but her coat is more nuanced than that when she's not in direct light. Here, you can see both at once, and she's absolutely breathtaking:

Tortie Ragdolls Are RareRagdolls are typically light in color, with some other colors on the "points" of their bodies: snout, paws, tail, etc.
Tortie Ragdolls are rare because this coloring has a very specific genetic makeup, which is typically not present in Ragdolls at all. In MoMo's instance, it appears that she's actually a Blue Cream Tortie Ragdoll instead of the traditional black/orange.

What Makes a 'True' Ragdoll? There is a ton of debate about this topic: people tend to feel very strongly about what cats count as Ragdolls and what cats don't. According to TICA, which sets the breed standards in the USA, a purebred, show-quality Ragdoll cat is one of three patterns:
- Color-pointed: darker/differently-colored fur on their paws, snout, tail, and ears.
- Mitted: still pointed, but their feet and chin are white.
- Bicolor: white chest, and a distinct white triangle (inverted V) on their face.
Tica states that Ragdolls can indeed be Tortie, and MoMo fits the mold: you can see those color points on her. They're beautiful, and so is she!

Ragdoll Cat’s Slow-Motion Pounce Is Comedy Gold
Ragdoll cats are known for their beauty, with their round, bright eyes and fluffy, double-colored coats. Their laid-back energy is another reason people quickly fall in love with this cat breed, because they're fun to cuddle with, and when playtime kicks in, they're known for doing funny, dramatic leaps.
In this clip, we meet a Ragdoll cat who has locked onto a toy with intense focus, well, eventually, and while he's in attack mode, his pounce plays out more like it's in slow-motion, and it's so silly and charming. Take a look!

♬ Messy - Funny SongsOn February 23, @waffle_wally shared a TikTok video of their adorable Ragdoll cat in the middle of his playtime. His toy of choice for today is one of those plastic spirals that bling across the floor when they're bopped with their paws. They zoom pretty quickly, which is why it's a favorite for many kitties. But Wally has his own way of going in for the catch.
I love how he's just watching it, but what makes it really funny is how, during that pause, he stops to look around a bit. For what? I'm not sure, but when he finally decides it's a good time to grab the spiral, he does this hilarious, almost slow-motion jump into the air. He gets some great height before landing just in front of that yellow spring.

Ragdoll Cats Have Fun, Charming PersonalitiesWally looks like he's having the best time playing, and that's what could be expected of Ragdolls, according to the experts.
The International Cat Association says Ragdoll cats get along well with kids and other pets because they're pretty chill. They even tolerate being carried around the house in a child's arms, the site says, and that's sort of where they got their name.
"The Ragdoll is a relaxed, happy cat, and like a child’s rag doll, many of these cats will go limp in your arms and flop like a stuffed doll when cuddled," the association writes. They're talkative and active, too, so having people around to play with makes their lives satisfying. Having plenty of toys so they can run out their energy will keep them at their happiest, healthiest selves.
Blissful kitties who have true joy when playing, like Wally, make our lives a whole lot happier, too. These cats are always fun to watch, whether they're playing, sleeping, or anything in between.
Maine Coon Cats Look Just Like Snow Leopards After Dad Fills the Bathtub With Fresh Snow
Though the winter appears to be dragging on terribly this year, there are definitely some who are enjoying it... Mostly, our pets. It's the only reason I haven't started completely freaking out and booking trips to sunnier places.
After last week's annoying snowstorm, there were plenty of happy pets who were loving the snow. For one Maine Coon cat family, outside is a bit of a stretch... So their dad brought the snow to them!
@jay799277Decided to put snow in bathrub for some enrichment & 1 of 2 enjoyed 🤣#snow #mainecoonsoftiktok #catsoftiktok #fypシ #funnypet
♬ original sound - 917JoshI truly can't decide what part of @jay79277's video is my favorite: carrying the snow into the bathtub one shovel at a time, the fact that he had this in mind at all, or the cats actually enjoying it. He had to go up a whole flight of stairs to do that!
There are two Maine Coons who were able to enjoy the snow bath: Theo and Ember. Theo is the older brother, though it was Ember (the orange cat, of course) who was interested first. She wasn't totally sure, but ultimately fell in love.

Do Maine Coons Like Snow?Jay tried this out, completely unsure of whether they'd actually like it or not. He just thought it might be fun for them, and ultimately, it was.
If you expose your Maine Coon to the snow young enough, they'll learn to love it. They might even get the zoomies! Maine Coons, in general, really enjoy the water!

Maine Coons hail from Maine; allegedly, some longhaired European cats stowed away on a boat, coming overseas and mating with regular domestic strays. They have long, thick fur and very thick paw pads. They were built for chilly weather.
Maine Coon Enrichment IdeasThis is one of the funniest, but most brilliant enrichment ideas I have ever seen for cats. Maine Coons are very intelligent, energetic cats, and they need enrichment to stay happy and healthy. You could try:
- Putting snow in your bathtub.
- Letting them swim in the tub.
- Getting them a splash pad.
- Games of fetch or chase.
- Walks or outside time on a leash or in a stroller.
Luckily, these cats are a lot of fun, and they're pretty easy to please. As long as they're with you, they'll be happy!

Philly Zoo's Puma Siblings Have a Cat-tastic Time Zooming Through the Snow
We all love a good time in the snow, especially when it has just fallen. But as much as we love a good snow day, I am starting to think that animals love it just a bit more. Between lions appreciating the serene atmosphere of falling snow to polar bears having a ball, we've seen a full range of reactions.
But a pair of pumas at the Philadelphia Zoo have gained a lot of attention for having the time of their lives pouncing and running through the snow in their enclosure, and the video is a must-see.

Two Pumas Have Snow Much FunSnow time = play time 😺
Puma siblings Olympia and Elbroch enjoying the snow is the best thing you'll see today! Creds to our animal care team for capturing this awesome moment! pic.twitter.com/BSZJwPJOHn
Oh, to have as much fun as these two big cats! While many East Coast residents are ready to pack up the winter clothes and transition to spring, the weather doesn't seem to want to get with the program. Instead of sunshine and birds chirping, the northeast has been hit with more fluffy white stuff than they want.
The only ones seemingly enjoying the addition of new powder are a pair of Pumas. The Philadelphia Zoo shared a video of siblings frolicking in the snow. Olympia and Elbroch's care team captured footage of them clawing through mini snow drifts, rolling around, and tackling one another.
One of the pumas tears off, flying around the enclosure with its sibling on its heels. Of course, that leads to plenty of other shenanigans between the pair, from them batting one another to one getting tackled. Clearly, they are having the time of their lives.

About the Philly Zoo's PumasThe two Pumas have been at the zoo since 2023. The pair was from Kalama, Washington, and, while they were originally from the wild, they were orphaned. The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife was caring for them in the interim after their mother had passed. They were about 19 to 20 weeks old at the time and around 40 percent underweight.
“This placement is crucial because without the intervention of the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and Philadelphia Zoo, they would likely not survive on their own and without their mother,” says Vice President of Animal Well-Being Rachel Metz in the initial press release. “Part of Philadelphia Zoo’s mission is to inspire action to protect wildlife and habitats. These animals will serve as ambassadors to educate our guests on the importance of apex predators and the challenges that revolve around humans and our relationships with predators in the wild.”
Fast forward a couple of years, and while people love seeing their adorable interactions, manycomment that they wish these two had stayed in the wild. However, it's important to note that while that's always preferable, it's not always possible. Without human intervention, these two cubs would have died. Thankfully, the pair has thrived and is a well-loved and well-cared-for addition to the zoo's big cat family.

Dramatic Australian Shepherd Goes From Begging to Battling for Snacks
We’ve all seen the look. The soulful puppy-dog eyes. The gentle paw on the knee. The heartbreaking whine that suggests your dog hasn’t eaten in three weeks, despite having just finished a massive bowl of kibble.
We know it is not easy to say no to a dog begging, and in one household, dinner negotiations broke down quickly, as we saw in a hilarious video posted on YouTube.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Ws1PY-DutqY
For this Australian shepherd, the standard "begging" playbook wasn't getting the job done. When her owner told her "no" to a tasty snack from the human food, this dramatic pup didn't just huff and pout. Instead, she escalated the situation to a full-on medieval demand.
The Australian shepherd with a flair for drama recently went viral after refusing to accept her owner’s firm “no” to human food. At first, she tried diplomacy. She offered some of her toys as compensation for food. But after her initial offering was denied, she had to take action. That’s when the Aussie returned, carrying a sword.
Before anyone calls animal control, it was a toy sword, gripped proudly in her mouth like a tiny, fluffy knight demanding tribute. The message was clear: if polite bartering failed, dramatic theatrics would follow.
Related: Toddler's Sweet Reaction to Golden Retriever Having No Food Is Pure Joy
Australian shepherds are known for their intelligence and problem-solving skills. Originally bred to herd livestock, they are quick thinkers with strong persistence. And when they want something, they don’t give up easily, as we saw in this video.
How Did the Internet React? This Australian shepherd is a popular star on social media with a huge fan following, so it's no wonder people love her antics with the sword.
Some of the commenters said, “she will not be denied,” “it’s either yes or death. Take your pick,” and “Negotiations have broken down force authorized,” clearly showing their support.
But there was also one who noticed the dog’s insane acting skills, saying, “for this video to happen this is such a well-trained dog: please get this dog into movie acting.” We, for one, would love to see her!
Why Do Dogs Beg, and How Can You Prevent It?Yes, a video of a dog begging for food is hilarious and sometimes adorable. Yet, constant begging can be stressful, and even dangerous. Dogs do it because they have learned it works. If they get a scrap of food even 10 percent of the time, they think begging is worth trying.
Now, your puppy might not be threatening you with a sword like the Aussie in the video, but here are some ways to keep them away from the dinner table.
Related: Woman’s Expensive Homemade Dog Dinner Sparks Heated Debate Online
First and foremost, be consistent. If you never give food from the table, your dog will stop asking. But if one family member feeds them, the begging will continue.
Second, redirect the energy to a job that is incompatible with sitting under the table. For example, a puzzle toy or a frozen Kong will do the trick.
Teach them a place command, which will get your dog to a specific mat or bed during mealtimes. Then, reward them for staying there calmly while you eat.
Remember, sometimes “no” isn’t just about manners; it’s about safety. Many human foods are toxic for dogs. As for this determined Aussie, her snack quest may not have succeeded, but she certainly won the Internet’s affection.

Golden Retriever Crashes Park Yoga Class and Immediately Becomes the Main Character
If you’ve ever tried to find your inner peace in a public park, you already know nature has opinions. A rogue breeze, a curious toddler, a squirrel with zero manners. But nothing, and I mean nothing, will test a yoga group’s commitment to serenity like a confident Golden Retriever wandering into the middle of class like he paid for the drop in.
In the video, Joey the Golden appears right in the center of a park yoga session, looking like he’s there to lead the guided meditation. The caption on the video says, “The day Joey crashed a park yoga class,” and honestly, it’s the most accurate event description ever written. Joey isn’t pacing or anxious, or looking for his human. He’s soaking up the moment, calmly accepting his new role as the class mascot, therapy dog, and unofficial instructor of “restorative petting.”
@joey_how_u_doinnThe class has failed.. . #dogmom #goldenretriever #dogsoftiktok
♬ Frolic - Theme from Curb Your Enthusiasm - Luciano MicheliniThe post caption reads, “The class has failed..” and that’s fair, because once Joey arrives, the yoga portion becomes more of a suggestion. People are still in their poses, technically, but their hands are busy doing the most important stretch of all: reaching down to scratch a fluffy head. Joey gets pets from multiple directions like he’s running a deluxe spa package. Somewhere in the background, someone’s probably whispering, “Breathe in… breathe out…” while Joey’s thinking, “Breathe in… more attention… breathe out… even more attention.”
And here’s the thing: he’s not wrong. Goldens have a special talent for turning any gathering into a celebration of joy. Park yoga? Now it’s park Joey-ga. Downward dog? Joey’s like, “Finally, a pose that honors my people.”
My dog Lola, a Heeler mix with a big personality, is absolutely not a good candidate for this class. Lola would not wander in quietly and accept gentle pats like a polite celebrity. She’d be announcing her arrival like a tiny security siren and trying to reorganize the group into a more efficient formation. However, if the park offered a self-defense class instead, Lola would win. First place. Medal ceremony. National anthem. No notes.
Joey, meanwhile, is proof that sometimes the best kind of mindfulness is letting the moment be ridiculous and sweet. The yoga class may have “failed,” but the park community absolutely succeeded.
View this post on Instagram Let Joy Interrupt the RoutineWhen life drops a Joey moment in your path, take the invitation: soften your expectations, laugh a little, and let connection count as a win, even if the plan changes. According to the American Kennel Club, Goldens are known for being friendly, reliable, and eager to please, which is basically the perfect recipe for a surprise park-dog cameo.
Honestly, I hope Joey crashes every class from now on, because some interruptions are simply too joyful, too charming, and too adorable not to welcome with open arms.

Tiny Grey Cat’s ‘Bean Ballet’ While She Dreams Puts Extra Toes To Good Use
Some cats are born with extra toes. It might sound weird, but many legitimately consider it a very desirable trait! It's cute, and it doesn't cause any harm to the cat long-term; it just means they have thumbs.
One little grey cat is making her mom's day one extra bean at a time. When she was taking a nap, her toe beans turned into legit "jumping beans" and put on the most adorable performance:

Telly is a very sweet cat. She just has several extra toes, which make her paws bigger; it's a funny contrast to her small frame. She's the size of a kitten, but she's got some massive paws!
When her beans aren't dancing in her sleep, Telly loves to use them for evil. Her big paws make for great launching pads, swatting tools, and they make the best biscuits anyone could ever ask for:

♬ original sound - 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒊𝒂🫧🎀🌷Look at those eyes. Seriously, they're insane. I wish my eyes were that pretty!
Does Polydactyly Hurt Cats?Polydactyly is a genetic condition, and though it's relatively rare, it's also one of the most common "quirks" people look for when they're purchasing a cat. As a result, it's something many breeders actually breed for.
Polydactyl cat's paws sticking up.Image via Shutterstock / Constance Mannes
Polydactyly does not have any significant impact on a cat's quality of life in most cases. While it can pose some balance issues, one of the biggest problems is claw maintenance. If you're not careful, extra claws can grow in at a weird angle, potentially piercing the skin.
Telly is all taken care of, though. Her mom just gets to sit back and enjoy the beans!

Popular Dog Treats Recalled Over Salmonella Risk—Here's What You Need to Know
If you recently stocked up on dog treats, you’ll want to double-check the bag.
Elite Treats, LLC, a company based in Boca Raton, Florida, has issued a recall for a single lot of its Elite Treats Chicken Chips for Dogs due to potential Salmonella contamination.
Learn more about what states the treats were sold in and how to know if yours are included in the recall.
🐶SIGN UP to get “pawsitivity” delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾
Why Were the Treats Recalled?According to a recent notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the issue was identified after a third-party laboratory detected Salmonella contamination in a related, unreleased batch of the same product. Out of caution, the company is recalling the affected lot currently in circulation.
So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
The recall was announced on Feb. 24, and it applies specifically to six-ounce, black-and-gold bags marked with lot number 24045 and an expiration date of April 2027.
View this post on Instagram Where Were the Treats Sold? The affected treats were supplied to Florida Hardware, LLC, and later made available at independent stores across several Southern states, including:
- Alabama
- Florida
- Georgia
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
If you purchased Elite Treats Chicken Chips in any of these states, it’s important to check the lot number on the back of the bag.
What's the Risk?Salmonella can affect both pets and people. Dogs who consume contaminated treats may show symptoms like lethargy, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), vomiting, fever, reduced appetite or abdominal pain. However, some pets can carry the bacteria without showing signs of illness and still spread it through saliva or feces.
People can be exposed to Salmonella by handling contaminated treats and then touching their mouth or food without washing their hands. The bacteria can also spread through contact with pet bowls, countertops or other surfaces that touched the product if those areas aren’t properly cleaned and sanitized.
Symptoms in people may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), chills, headache, abdominal cramps and fever. Young children, older adults and individuals with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of serious illness.
If you or your pet develop symptoms after possible exposure, contact a healthcare provider or veterinarian immediately.
What Should You Do?The FDA recommends that pet parents stop using the recalled treats right away. Do not sell or donate the product. Instead, discard it in a secure manner so that children, pets and wildlife cannot access it.
It’s also important to thoroughly clean and sanitize any pet bowls, storage containers, countertops or utensils that may have come into contact with the treats. And as always, wash your hands carefully after handling pet food or treats.
For questions about refunds or replacements, consumers can contact Elite Treats, LLC, at 561-901-5319 or email elite.treats@yahoo.com during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.
When it comes to your dog’s health, it’s always better to be cautious. A quick check of the bag could prevent a much bigger problem.

Pit Bull Mix Abandoned in New York Woods Now Living His Best Life After Rescue
What could have been a horribly tragic ending has turned into a heartwarming new beginning for one lucky dog.
Back in December, news outlets reported that a white pit bull mix was found chained to a tree near a bike path in Amsterdam, New York, during dangerously cold weather. A passerby walking his own dog spotted the abandoned pup and quickly alerted authorities. Police later said that if the dog hadn’t been seen when he was, he likely would not have survived the freezing temperatures.

Officers used bolt cutters to free him from the short metal chain tethering him to the tree. He was then transported to the Montgomery County SPCA, where he began the recovery process and received a new name: Elfie.
A Heartwarming UpdateNow, more than two months later, Elfie’s story looks very different. In an update shared by the Montgomery County SPCA on Feb. 19, the rescue revealed that Elfie has been adopted and is “adjusting so well to his new life.” Photos show the once-abandoned dog relaxing comfortably indoors, soaking in the warmth of a safe home.
According to the shelter, Elfie has fully embraced his fresh start. He loves playing with toys, stretching out in sunny spots and learning new skills. He’s currently working on commands like “stay” and “place” as part of his early training.
And perhaps most endearing of all, the shelter wrote, “He also thinks he is a lap dog,” alongside a photo of Elfie snoozing happily on his adopter’s lap.

A Night and Day DifferenceIt’s a striking contrast to the fearful, cold pup police encountered that December day. When first discovered, Elfie reportedly barked and growled in distress while crouched near the tree, clearly frightened and unsure of his surroundings.
His rescue sparked outrage and concern throughout the community, and the New York State Humane Society offered a reward for information leading to the person responsible for abandoning him. Authorities indicated that those involved could face serious charges.
But today, the focus is on Elfie’s remarkable turnaround. From a life-threatening situation in the woods to sun naps, toy time and lap cuddles, Elfie is finally experiencing the safety and affection every dog deserves.
The Montgomery County SPCA closed its update with a heartfelt message: “Thank you for saving Elfie, he is an amazing boy.” And judging by the photos, this “lap dog” is right where he belongs.

The Paralympic Service Dogs Are Headed to Cortina, and They All Deserve Medals
When the Winter Paralympics 2026 begin on March 6, athletes will compete across six sports in Cortina — and many will arrive with trusted teammates by their sides. Their elite service dogs train, travel, and live alongside them, helping with daily tasks and offering steady reassurance before competition. We, however, get the benefit of seeing their sweet faces in posts like this one, which introduces several of the "very good boys and girls" — all Labrador Retrievers — with names like Pickle, Gigi, and Willow.
View this post on InstagramUnfalteringly loyal and unconditionally caring, these pups exemplify the very best of their species - and why dogs have our endless gratitude and love.
One fan said it best: "Aww, give them all the gold!!" It's a sentiment that was shared by many in the comments.
Some were surprised, however, that the service dogs were Labs, but it's a breed that can handle the level of responsibility and need for composure that being a canine Olympian requires.
Related: Golden Retriever Is Mesmerized By Olympic Skiers Because He Wants to 'Play in the Snow'
Why Labs Fit the BillThere’s a reason Labrador Retrievers show up everywhere in the service-dog world — and it’s not just because people love them. Their personality and working instincts make them almost perfectly suited for the job.
First, their temperament. Labs are friendly, emotionally steady, and deeply people-focused. They’re affectionate without being clingy, observant without being anxious, and naturally tuned in to human behavior. That combination makes them especially helpful for people with PTSD, autism, mobility challenges, and anxiety disorders because they can provide both practical assistance and emotional grounding.
They’re also incredibly trainable. Labs were originally bred to work alongside humans, so learning tasks comes naturally to them. They respond well to positive reinforcement and can master dozens of cues — everything from retrieving dropped items and opening doors to interrupting panic episodes or alerting to medical events.
Their size helps too. At roughly 55–70 pounds, they’re big enough to provide balance support or create space in public, but not so large that they’re difficult to manage.
Labs are smart, cooperative, and genuinely motivated to help. They don’t just learn service work — they seem to enjoy having a job and a person to look after, especially when that person is also an elite athlete.

Cats—Even Picky Ones—Are Going Wild for ThemThe reviews really seal the deal, with pet parents enthusiastically sharing how much their cats love these adorable pops.
"It's 100% chicken. No other ingredient whatsoever. That alone is amazing. 1 ingredient! They also smell INCREDIBLE,” one reviewer wrote on the product page.
Another shopper said their notoriously picky cat had turned down nearly every treat they'd ever offered—until now. "We have a real picky cat… She has refused all cat treats and wants me to make her treats from people food. Well little Charlotte loves these! I haven't had to make her human grade treats for an entire week."
Plenty of others echoed similar experiences. "My cat downs these things in mere seconds. He goes crazy as soon as I start unwrapping it, then it's gone in a few ravenous bites. Who am I to deny him the joy?" one reviewer shared.
For cats with food sensitivities, the simplicity of the ingredient list is also a major win. "My cat Donald is highly allergic to pretty much every filler in most cat foods and treats but we discovered Purr Pops and he is sooo happy he finally has a treat now because they are made with pure freeze dried ingredients."
Some reviewers noted that the treats can be a bit crumbly. But honestly, that's not necessarily a downside. They're freeze-dried chicken, so a little crumbling is to be expected. If anything, those extra bits just make it easier for cats to nibble and enjoy every last bite.
Snag a Box of These Adorable TreatsIf your cat lives for treat time, or you're still searching for something that will impress a feline food critic, these adorable lollipop-style snacks from Sam's Club might be worth a try.
Just be warned: Once they hear that wrapper crinkle, there's no going back.

Shelter Dog Goes Viral for Her ‘Smile,’ Leading to Swift Adoption
A shelter dog in South Carolina captured thousands of hearts, all with one unforgettable smile.
Billie Jean, a 1-year-old pup who was recently housed at the Marion County Animal Shelter, went viral after the shelter shared photos of her beaming expression on its Facebook page. In the images, Billie sits nicely in her kennel, offering what looks like a wide, hopeful grin. Her lovable look instantly resonated with animal lovers across social media.

Billie Jean Smiles for the CameraWithin days, the post racked up more than 20,000 likes, thousands of shares, and hundreds of comments from people eager to either meet her or help her find a home.
Billie’s backstory made her smile even more touching. According to the shelter, she was surrendered after her senior pet parent moved into assisted living.
For the first year of her life, Billie had lived quietly in a home with just one person. She had never been around other dogs and had little exposure to the outside world. That sudden shift from a calm home to an overcrowded shelter environment left her overwhelmed.
During a routine dog introduction test, staff observed that Billie appeared tense and frightened. She was quickly removed from the play yard for her own safety and the safety of other dogs. Shelter officials noted that she would need slow, careful introductions and a patient home willing to help her build confidence.

“She is too young to be this scared,” the shelter shared in its post, encouraging people to consider fostering if they weren’t able to adopt.
Despite her nerves around other animals, one thing was clear: Billie loved people. Staff described her as gentle and submissive, and noted that she would flash her big smile whenever someone approached her kennel.
That smile is what ultimately changed everything. Just two days after the viral post, the shelter updated the post with great news: “BILLIE JEAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!"
The best news ever. We’re so happy for sweet Billie.
Billie’s story also highlights a larger reality for many shelter dogs. Research has shown that while physical health is often maintained in shelters, the environment itself can be highly stressful. Loud noises, unfamiliar animals, new routines and limited space can overwhelm dogs, especially those who previously lived in quiet, one-person households without other animals.
Social isolation and sudden environmental changes can impact a dog’s behavior, making them appear more anxious or withdrawn than they might be in a home setting. That’s why foster homes and patient adopters play such a crucial role in helping shy or fearful dogs decompress and build confidence.
Billie just needed the right person to see past her fear (and into her smile). Thankfully, someone did.

Italian Greyhound ‘Cobbing’ His Mom’s Face Is the Cutest Little Lovebug
If you’ve never experienced an Italian Greyhound lovingly nibbling your face like you are a corn cob at a summer barbecue, congratulations on living a peaceful life. For the rest of us, we know that when a skinny little noodle dog starts making “nom nom nom” noises directly on your cheek, that is not violence. That is pure love.
Italian Greyhounds are famously clingy, dramatic, and completely obsessed with their people, and this little guy is proving it in the most chaotic, romantic way possible.
@melman_dog ♬ оригінальний аудіозапис - MelmanTikTok user @melman_dog shared the clip of this tiny Greyhound cobbing his mom’s face with full commitment. He gently nibbles, grunts, and presses himself into her, like he’s trying to absorb her through the sheer affection of his actions. One commenter called it “extreme cobbing,” while another said, “Girl, that dog adores you!” which feels correct on a completely pure level.
Related: Pit Bull’s Adorable Cobbing Gets Surprise Interruption by ‘Villain’ House Cat
Someone else explained that cobbing is something dogs usually reserve for the things they love most. That tracks. Because this dog looks like he is experiencing what can only be described as cute aggression, but in reverse. He is overwhelmed. He must nibble. He cannot not nibble.
The little grunts? The tiny jaw chomps? It's the doggo version of heart eyes.
Why Do Dogs 'Cob' Their Humans? Jack Russell Terrier dog licking.Image Via:
Cobbing is a term many dog parents use to describe gentle nibbling or mouthing behavior. Dogs often do this as a form of affection, especially when they are relaxed and bonded to their person. It mimics grooming behaviors they would use with littermates or close companions.
In breeds like Italian Greyhounds, who are deeply people-focused and physically affectionate, cobbing can be a common way of expressing love. As long as it’s gentle and not causing discomfort, it’s usually a sign of trust and emotional attachment.
Basically, if your pup is cobbing you, you have been selected. You are the chosen one. Congratulations on being a human corn on the cob.

Cat Experiences Toddler Meltdown for First Time and Immediately Contemplates Life
You ever have one of those moments where you suddenly realize that you've made a huge mistake but there's no turning back now? This adorable orange cat, Reno, just lived through that exact moment.
There's a TikTok making the rounds. A toddler's having a complete meltdown—and I mean full volume, maximum drama, the entire theatrical production. Dad's doing his very best to handle the situation. Mom? She's laughing so hard she can barely hold the camera.
The cat though? He's going through something profound. Some real contemplating the 'meaning of life' emotions were happening behind those big eyes.
@ace_vailturaHis genuine level of confusion is killing me . #catlovers #cats #catsoftiktok #orangecatsoftiktok #trending
♬ nhạc nền - Đà Lạt + - Đà Lạt +The caption reads, "My cat's first time experiencing a toddler meltdown," and you can literally watch this cat's worldview crumble in real time. His face says everything you need to know, "I absolutely did NOT agree to this!"
Mom can not stop laughing because obviously watching the cat try to comprehend what's happening is way funnier than the actual tantrum. And honestly? Mom's not wrong; the cat's reaction is comedy gold.
She wrote "His genuine level of confusion is killing me" which is the perfect description. This cat looks genuinely and completely traumatized. You can tell by his face that he just saw something that broke his brain a little bit.

He thought he knew how his life worked. He was loved and living in a nice quiet house. Everything was predictable. Maybe you'd get some delicious snacks here and there. But, suddenly this tiny human starts making noises he's never encountered before at max volume that seems physically impossible.
You can practically read Reno's thoughts: "Get me outta here! What's happening right now? Why won't it stop? WILL IT EVER STOP?"
Cats React Strongly to Baby Crying Because It Sounds Like Distressed KittensWhat's actually going on in that cat's head: baby cries hit pretty hard for cats. Those high-pitched wails sound almost exactly like baby kittens in distress. Cats are instinctually programmed to respond to those sounds because that's what baby cats sound like when something's wrong.
When a toddler starts screaming and crying, cats aren't processing, "Oh, that's just a small human having big emotions." In their brain it's all hands on deck. "THAT SOUNDS LIKE A KITTEN THAT NEEDS HELP but also it's WAY TOO LOUD and WHAT IS IT?"
If your cat's only been around adults their whole life, babies might as well be from another planet. Everything about little humans is weird—the smell, the random flailing movements, and those sounds that seem designed to trigger every single alarm in a cat's nervous system.
You'll see different reactions depending on the cat. Some get really inquisitive and cautiously investigate the source of the noise. Others do that adorable confused head tilt thing trying to figure out what they're hearing. But, then you've got cats like this orange guy who just freezes while his brain tries desperately to make sense of the situation.

Getting cats comfortable with babies isn't instantaneous. They need time to adjust to the new situation—the sounds, the smells, the general craziness babies bring. Just dropping them into a full-scale toddler tantrum with zero preparation? That's like throwing someone who can't swim into the ocean.
This cat's face tells you everything you need to know. One minute he's living comfortably. The next minute he's questioning if he can actually survive this new development.
Based on that expression? No. He cannot. He's in over his head. Nobody consulted him about this change. And if cats could fill out complaint forms, he'd already have one started.
Amazon's Best-Selling Pet Stain and Odor Remover Is 'Worth Every Penny'
Parade Pets aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
I have been very, very lucky with my Jack Russell mix, Winnie. Not only has Winnie been an incredible friend in the 2 ½ years since she entered my life, but she also never makes a mess of things in the house.
(However, when we’re walking outside, and she sees another dog, that’s another conversation.)
Of course, animals are prone to accidents, and I frequently ran into that problem with two of my late friends: Karma, the Coonhound, and Jack, the Jack Russell. By the time I adopted Winnie, I’d already switched to wooden floors. I didn’t have that luxury when I had Karma and Jack, and my carpets sometimes paid the price — and I mean that literally, since I’d sometimes pay to have my carpets cleaned.
Thankfully for pet parents who find themselves stressing over frequent carpet stains, Amazon has you covered with a must-have deal.
The Rocco & Roxie Supply Co. stain and odor remover has become a best-seller, and for good reason. This stuff is flying off the digital shelves -- Amazon says over 40,000 bottles have been sold in the past month!
Reviews: What Buyers Say About This Carpet Cleaning SprayThis enzyme cleaner has a 4.4-star (out of 5.0) rating on Amazon, with 71% of nearly 125,000 shoppers leaving a five-star rating. Many of the reviews cite the spray’s effectiveness and how well it works without leaving any damage to carpets, furniture, or even clothing.
Check out what a few of those past buyers have said:
- “I have never been happier with any cleaner. It is definitely a strong cleaner smell, and I made sure to well saturate the items, but as the cleaner smell disappeared, the urine stench was absolutely gone."
- “This cleaner honestly is a MIRACLE cleaner, I’m not even kidding! It saved me and I seriously can’t say enough good things about it!"
- “I have also used this in my carpet shampooer for my carpet when my toddler or dog has accidents. I swear by this stuff now. Worth every penny."

More Details on This Stain-RemoverIf you’re already falling in love with this carpet cleaner, then you’re not alone. If nearly 125,000 people leave feedback and 71% offer a 5-star review, that typically doesn’t happen by accident.
Here’s what else you need to know:
- Size: Amazon offers the carpet cleaner in both 32 fl. oz. ($24) and 128 fl. oz. ($60) sizes.
- Best of the Best: As of March 2026, this carpet cleaner ranks No. 1 on Amazon among dog stain removers and dog odor removers.
- Cost Effectiveness: Prime members get free delivery and a 30-day return window.
The Bottom Line: If you need a bottle of the Rocco & Roxie Supply Co. carpet stain cleaner in your life, we're way ahead of you. Pet parents and their loved ones, both human and animal, will sleep better knowing they have this waiting in the closet.
130-Pound Great Dane Is 'Terrified' To Walk Past 10-Pound Pomeranian Brother
Finn, a 130-pound Great Dane, is stopped in his tracks by his petite Pomeranian brother. He refuses to cross in front of the tiny tyrant in his own living room despite being 13 times his weight. After giving a classic stress yawn, Finn quietly turns around and takes a completely different route rather than risk a confrontation.
While obviously funny, the moment is hilariously relatable to anyone who has ever tried to avoid an awkward -- or in Finn's case, potentially volatile -- interaction. Finn is basically me doing whatever it takes to avoid idle chit chat at every party I'm forced to attend.
Even Finn and the Pom's mom is amused. "You're afraid of your brother?" she asks Finn. "You can't walk past this tiny Pomeranian?" It's a 'yes' on both accounts as Finn takes the safer, scenic route around the dining room table.
@finnthebigmanLike if your small dog also runs the house 🤣 #greatdane #dogsofnyc #giantbreed #finnthebigman #smalldogsoftiktok
♬ Carmen Habanera, classical opera(1283412) - perfectpandaFinn reminds me of the huge elephant who's deathly afraid of the minuscule mouse in the old cartoons from my childhood. His fans, however, totally understand why he's exercising caution around his brother.
One says (only half joking), "I’m afraid of Pomeranians, too!"
"Those little ankle biters are the worst!" laughs another.
And many more viewers of Finn's video commented on Great Danes in general, specifically their sometimes timid dispositions: "I swear the bigger the dog, the more scared they are of everything."
Looks Can Be DeceivingGreat Danes look intimidating, but their personalities are quite the opposite. Often called “gentle giants,” they’re affectionate, patient, and very people-oriented dogs who usually want nothing more than to be close to their humans — ideally leaning on you like a 150-pound lapdog.
Originally bred in Germany to hunt large game, they’re powerful and athletic, but in a home they’re surprisingly calm. Most are happy with moderate daily walks and then a long stretch of lounging. They don’t have the endless stamina of working breeds — they’re more of a low-energy companion trapped in a very large body.
Temperament is one of their biggest strengths. Great Danes tend to be friendly with kids, visitors, and other pets (although the same can't always be said of their brothers!) when socialized early, and they’re typically not aggressive. They do, however, need early training simply because of their size — a poorly mannered Great Dane is a logistical problem.
They grow fast, eat a lot, and need space (and a sturdy couch), and their lifespan is shorter than smaller breeds, typically around 7–10 years.
In short: a Great Dane isn’t just a big dog. It’s a very sweet, very sensitive companion who wants to live as part of your daily life — just on a much larger scale.

Husky Who ‘Came With Snow Blower’ Is Having the Best Day Ever
I live in Maine, and let me tell you, my dogs and I are 100% ready for winter to be over. They're small, short-haired Boston Terriers, and I just hate being cold. It's cozy for a few weeks, but now, I'm ready to move on.
One dog is certainly not ready, however: this Husky. His parents loan out their snowblower on one condition: he comes with it. He can't get enough of the fresh-blown snow mountains:
@evee0101Scenes from blizzard ‘26 #blizzard #snow #snowday #dog #dogtok
♬ sonido original - elias.marin.goveaEve is happy to have a snowblower, and even better, she's happy to host this sweet boy while she does it. He's minding his own business, mostly, just playing in the snow as it forms piles off to the side. He knows how to be safe!
People in the comments are convinced that it's actually the dog loaning out the snowblower just so he can play in the snow. Luckily, Eve loves animals; she's even taken in a stray cat named Mr. Handsome. She doesn't mind having the Husky!
Huskies Were Made For the SnowAs the name suggests, Siberian Huskies come from Siberia, which is a geographical region known for being very cold and full of snow. They were bred to pull sleds across the frozen, snowy terrain, which means they're:
- Strong.
- Smart.
- Snow-resistant.
Huskies can withstand colder temperatures for longer (though they do need heat and shelter from extreme temperatures). Thanks to their waxy top coat and fluffy paw pads, it's harder for the snow and cold air to reach their skin.
Keeping Huskies SafeIf they could, Huskies would probably stay outside and play in even the most dangerous conditions. They love the snow, the cold, and the water. However, we do need to be careful: just because they can withstand those conditions doesn't mean they should.
Siberian Husky puppy in the snow.Image via Shutterstock /https://www.tiktok.com/@evee0101/video/7610464914129374477
Huskies can handle temperatures of -60 degrees Fahrenheit, but only in extreme circumstances and for very short periods. Huskies should not be left out in temperatures lower than around -40 degrees Fahrenheit, and even at that temperature, they should not be left for long.
A Husky's optimal weather is a snowy day, anywhere from 0 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, and they can stay outside for hours. Just keep an eye on them, watching for signs of discomfort or worsening weather conditions. Not this Husky, though; he's living his best life!

Rare Dog Breed's Dreadlock-Corded Coat Makes Her Look Like a 'Mop With a Tongue'
Some dog breeds are recognizable at a glance. German Shepherds have those muscular bodies and distinct markings; English Sheepdogs are known for their iconic shaggy coats; a Chihuahua's petite physique and huge eyes are easy to identify; and English Bulldogs speak for themselves.
Yet other canine breeds are extremely rare and can stump even the biggest dog lovers. Primrose is one of those pups who is a total showstopper, though her breed keeps people guessing.
@jamesevansvisualsThis might be the most unusual dog I’ve ever met 🐾 A Hungarian Puli — would you know the breed if you saw one? Wait for the photo reveal at the end 📸 #dogtok #hungarianpuli #dogphotographer #petphotography #dogsoftiktok #fyp
♬ original sound - James Evans - James EvansIn the TikTok from @jamesevansvisuals, Primrose and her mom walked through a park and caught the attention of a photographer who asked about the fur baby's breed. The precious pooch made quite an appearance, with a bulky coat full of white, cord-like strands rather than fur.
The Hungarian Puli breed is known for its dreadlock-type hair that makes most people do a double-take. Primrose was close to her 9th birthday, and her mom described what these precious pooches look like as puppies.
"Fluffy, just like the top of the head... but then it starts cording out," Primrose's mom shared. "Hers are pencil cords."
The photographer noted the resemblance to a household item used to clean floors.
"She's like a little mop with a tongue or something," he remarked. "The cords are incredible."
Primrose posed for some pics, as if she was used to the attention, while the photographer raved over her unique look. The canine cutie sat for some still photos, as well as some action shots to capture those iconic cords flying in the wind.
"She's gorgeous — I'm so startled by her," he gushed, adding in the caption, "This might be the most unusual dog I’ve ever met."
Hungarian Pulis Are Herding DogsThis rare breed originates from Hungary and is often referred to as the "Mop Dog" for its corded coat. Dating back many centuries, the Hungarian Puli is known for their excellent herding skills and protection of livestock.

Their eye-catching coats serve as insulation from harsh weather conditions and require consistent grooming. Hungarian Pulis are highly intelligent, energetic, and playful. They make wonderful family pets and are extremely loyal to and protective of loved ones.
Pulis are very rare and, like Primrose, definitely stand out in a crowd.

Fluffy Chihuahua Looks Exactly Like a 'Wild Things' Character After Grooming Session
One of my favorite things about being an adult is being able to shamelessly adore the things I loved when I was a child. Everyone goes through that phase as a teen where they can't like any of that stuff anymore!
One Chihuahua has taken me straight back to one of my favorite childhood stories: Shel Silverstein's Where the Wild Things Are. After his grooming appointment, this Chihuahua certainly looks like he might know where to find my favorite fluffy friends:
@nycpetgroomingPOV: your client judging your life choices after biting you. 😭😂 I can’t with this little menace. 😅 Still love him though. See you next groom, mr Donatello.. 😘 #longhairedchihuahua #chihuahuastiktok #pov #relateable #dogsoftiktok
♬ Comical, heartwarming, animal happening video(892029) - Kids SoundNYC Pet Grooming knows how to have fun. Donatello the Chihuahua captured everyone's hearts, and she's in the comments laughing about how popular he got! She even says, "Donatello has officially surpassed me in popularity!" People have said he looks like:
- A Wild Thing.
- A Monchichi (ADORABLE).
- A Labubu
Out of all of those, though, his groomer thinks Wild Thing fits best. She's right: everybody is focused on how precious he is, conveniently forgetting that he literally bit her. He did not like getting groomed!

Chihuahuas Are DefensiveI won't say Chihuahuas are aggressive, because that's just not the case. In most instances, what people perceive as "aggression" from Chihuahuas is actually defensiveness: they feel threatened. When that happens, they lash out. Lots of things can contribute to that:
- Loud noises.
- Quick movements.
- Being picked up or petted unexpectedly.
In Donatello's case, he was not happy with being groomed. Though his groomer is a wonderful lady, he doesn't really know her, and he probably felt a little scared, lashing out. She's used to it! He's not the first, and he won't be the last!
Caring For Longhaired ChihuahuasLonghaired Chihuahuas are some of the prettiest pups ever, and that's exactly what Donatello is. They tend to have a lot more fur, especially around their ears and necks. They look like little lions!

Longhaired Chihuahuas need regular grooming, which means daily brushing, frequent baths (with conditioner!), and occasional haircuts. Not all of them will come away from a grooming appointment looking like they found out where the wild things are, though... Donatello is so special!
