Shook Cockatoo Has Hilarious Reaction to Mom 'Growing Feathers on Head' With Bath Towel

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 10:55am

If I could go back in time and redo a few things in my life, I'd create something (who knows what) that makes me a billionaire, live in a haunted farmhouse with tons of land—plus a vacation beach house to retreat to anytime—and I'd adopt as many pets as possible. If one of those pets embodied the kind of toddler energy to make me laugh on the daily, that's just an added bonus. I can think of a few who'd be up for the task, but one's got that "it" factor.

Being a natural entertainer, Charlie Junior the Cockatoo fits the bill for "funny and adorable pets." Though this boy doesn't typically prefer the spare human (aka Mom), he's astounded by the bath towel on her head, which resembles bird-like feathers. He's always a riot, but in the recent clip, he is SHOOK!

Close-up side view of a Cockatoo with her mouth open.

Every new piece of Charlie content is better than the last. Not only is this charismatic Cockatoo a comedian, but he's so honest with his reactions—good and bad. With Mom, it's almost always over the top, and it's why I love him so much.

@charliejuniorcockatoo

He was so confused that I grew feathers overnight 😆 #cutepets #adorable #parrots #umbrellacockatoo #fyp

♬ Pennies From Heaven - Remastered - Louis Prima

As the video shows, Charlie's surprise can't be hidden because his feathers all sprawled out can't hide it. The way the Cockatoo cocks his head to the side, jaw agape as he studies "what the flock" has happened, is pure comedy. Like a toddler, Charlie may be smart, but some things are still a mystery!

Charlie Loves Time With His Favorite Person

As many times as I've covered Charlie, there are three times as many videos that show how deep this bird's love goes—for Dad (sorry, Mom)! Charlie spends his days with the spare human, but once Dad's home, all bets are off.

The two of them have such a deep bond that no one else is invited. Mom films while Dad and Charlie have their nightly dance parties, which bring us all SO much joy, it's ridiculous.

Bernese Mountain Dog Throws the Cutest Fit of Impatience While Waiting on Pup Cup

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 10:33am

If you have a dog who happens to be obsessed with pup cups, you're not the only one. Who knew how much a little cup of whipped cream from a coffee shop or drive thru could mean to a dog? But to the ones who are devoted fans, it's a top tier treat.

Many dogs know the drill: If you're making a certain drive thru stop, that means the pup cup is imminent. And in the case of Bogey the Bernese Mountain Dog, he simply could not wait one more second to chow down.

@bogeybearmedina

Patience is not in his vocabulary. He demands a pup cup now!🐶😂 #pupcup #dogsoftiktok #bernesemountaindog #funnydog #sillydog

♬ original sound - Bogey Bear the Bernese

As Bogey's mom wrote in her caption, "patience is not in his vocabulary," and that's really what we see play out right here in this TikTok. He's in the back seat, and he knows that a pup cup is coming, and he simply cannot contain himself.

He's even shoving his face up to the driver's seat to see what's taking so long, and even throws in a few barks for good measure.

Can someone get this dog his treat, please?!

Training Dogs to Be More Patient

Just like human beings aren't born as perfectly patient angels, the same goes for dogs. For the most part, impatient puppies need to be taught how to be patient adult dogs, and that can take a little work!

According to the American Kennel Club, it's all about instilling "impulse control" in your dog, and when it comes to developing this skill, rewards like treats can be very helpful (as is true with teaching your dog many other tricks).

You can offer your pup a treat for exercising their patience following a command, whether you want them to sit or stand in a certain area. It can also help to teach them using games, like letting them sniff a treat in your closed hand before opening it, letting them see there's a treat in there, and closing it back up. Once they stop going wild over it, give them a treat with your other hand, showing them that patience does come with a reward!

It might take some time to get their self-control where you want it to be, but in the end, the investment is totally worth it.

Mini Dachshund Carries Around Lookalike Plushie and It's the Cutest

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 10:10am

My dogs love their toys. When I bring home a brand new pack of plushies, they can't wait to dig in and claim their favorite. Then, they compete to see who can find their toy's squeaker first. Neither my Dachshund nor my Pug mix seems to develop an emotional attachment to these playthings and views them merely as items to chew and fetch.

Winnie the Mini Dachshund obviously has a different perspective on her prized plushie and treats it with tender loving care, probably because it looks just like her.

@winniethemini.xo

♬ original sound - iwgytm_

In the TikTok from @winniethemini.xo, the precious pooch strutted through the house with a spring in her step. She proudly carried her Dachshund stuffed animal in her mouth, which bore a striking resemblance to herself.

Winnie transported the toy with the utmost gentleness. There was no footage of her chewing or pulling on the plushie. Since the toy was basically her twin, Winnie probably felt a kinship with the stuffed animal rather than seeing it as an object to be thrown across the room.

The canine cutie exuded pure joy as she brought her "mini me" with her everywhere, almost as if she were protecting her best pal. Viewers were charmed by Winnie and her devotion to the toy dog.

"This is literally one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen," one gushed.

"She loves her wee teddy," another remarked.

"Aww Winnie and teddy Winnie, this is just cuteness overload," a follower raved.

"Just a dog with her best friend," someone noted.

Dogs Develop Attachments to Plushies

While my fur babies prefer to roughhouse with their toys, many dogs form a bond with a certain plushie they consider special. Whether it's because of the shape, softness, texture, or something from their puppy days, stuffed toys often bring comfort to canines.

Related: 14-Year-Old Dachshund Looks the Same as His Puppy Picture and We Want His Anti-Aging Secret

Dachshunds are known for their strong prey drive. Many Doxies, like mine, aim to "capture" their toys like a hunted object. Other dogs take a more maternal approach and prefer to carry or cuddle their plushies.

Winnie obviously takes the gentler route and treats her plushie like a very special friend, or her long-lost lookalike.

Two-Legged Shorkie Shows Off Her Three Adorably Unique Ways of Walking

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 9:55am

Noel the Shorkie—a mix between a shih tzu and a Yorkshire terrier—may only have two legs, but when it comes to getting around, the girl has options.

In a heart-melting video shared by @noelthebipawdshorkie on TikTok, the 10-year-old pup confidently makes her way through the house using not one, not two, but three completely different walking styles, and it’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite.

The clip begins with Noel perched comfortably on her dog dad’s lap. When her dog mom cheerfully asks, “Ready for dinner?” Noel’s ears instantly perk up. She wiggles excitedly, clearly ready for mealtime.

Once placed on the floor, Noel heads toward the kitchen, and that’s when she begins to show off her incredibly cute walking styles.

First up is what her family calls the “snow plow.” Noel lowers the front of her body to the ground, using her head and chest for balance while powerfully pushing herself forward with her back legs.

Related: Brave Little Maltipoo Explores the Woods in His Wheelchair—and Viewers Are in Tears

Next up is the “bunny hop,” where Noel pushes off with her back legs and moves forward in quick, springy bursts that look like a rabbit in motion.

But her final way of getting around truly steals the spotlight. When Noel goes “upright,” she balances completely on her two back legs and walks across the room like a tiny human—or an adorable, walking teddy bear.

Three distinct walking styles. One very focused dinner goal. And almost too much cuteness to handle!

What Is Noel’s Story?

According to her family’s Facebook page, Noel was found years ago on the street with severely broken front legs. The injuries were so serious that amputation was necessary to save her life.

Her now-family stepped in as fosters while she recovered from her surgeries, helping her adjust to life on two legs. Somewhere along the way, fostering turned into forever. Her humans officially adopted her, and she’s been thriving ever since.

Today, Noel uses a wheelchair for outdoor exercise and longer outings, but inside her home, she moves around remarkably well without it.

Noel’s story is one of resilience, love and adaptation. Despite her difficult past, she has figured out how to confidently navigate her world in ways that work for her. Noel reminds us that there’s more than one way to move forward!

Sweater-Wearing Baby Goats Are the Happiest Thing on the Internet Today

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 9:45am

Why did no one warn me about sweater-wearing baby goats?

A trio of tiny baby goats is spreading instant joy with a video showing them bouncing around a barn in their cozy little sweaters. Winter, Aubrey, and Penny's playful hops and boundless energy are impossible not to smile at.

And it's a good thing these kids are so energetic, because according to their human mom, it's utterly freezing outside, and their constant movement (and ridiculously cute sweaters) is likely keeping them warm... and occupied. Moms everywhere can relate. Snow days, am I right?

As older goats (and a hen or two) try to navigate their enthusiasm, the trio jump around like springs, donning different sweaters for our viewing pleasure.

@grindstone.creek

Winter + Aubrey + Penny! All day every day despite the -30 weather 🥰❤️😊🐐#happy #goat #winter #sweater

♬ Going Up The Country - Canned Heat

Honestly, it only takes about five seconds before their happiness becomes contagious.

"This made me smile. Babies hopping around. They are the cutest," comments one grateful viewer.

"What a joyful video to pop up," agrees another.

"I wish I could be as happy as they are," says a third.

You can, Susan. Just take your cue from these kids: throw on your cutest sweater, and bounce.

Related: Dachsund's Determination to Snuggle With Dad Is Too Cute to Resist

Just Gotta Bounce

We might like to believe that Winter, Aubrey, and Penny are springing around so adorably for our benefit, but there's an actual method to their madness. Goats may look carefree, but in the wild they’re prey animals, which means their babies have to get capable fast. Herds often live in open areas where predators are a real risk, so newborn kids need to keep up almost immediately.

That’s why, within about 24 hours of birth, baby goats start bouncing. They run, leap straight into the air, and climb anything they can reach — constantly. It’s undeniably adorable, but it also serves a purpose.

All that springing around is practice. The jumping builds coordination and agility, helping kids develop the quick movements they’ll need to dodge danger. It may also act as a signal to watching predators: I’m healthy, strong, and not worth the effort.

So while it looks like pure play (and it is fun), those famous goat hops are actually serious developmental training — survival skills wrapped in cuteness.

And the precious sweaters? Those are definitely for us.

Foster Pit Bull Puppy Just Discovered His Shadow and We Can't Stop Watching

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 9:20am

Peter Pan once said, "After all, one can't leave his shadow lying about and not miss it sooner or later."

The beloved J.M. Barrie character was known for being particularly fond of his shadow.

We imagine the first time he discovered his shadow, it was quite exciting, just as it is for children and even dogs!

We got to see that in this video from @we.three.pitties featuring our favorite foster Pit Bull puppy, Piglet!

In the video, we see little Piglet sitting on the couch on a sunny day, discovering that there's another dog sitting right across from him, only this dog looks a bit different.

The puppy across from him seems to do everything he does at the exact same time, and he even has his signature curly ears!

He stares for a while at his shadow, looking a little perplexed, but eventually he decides he really likes this other pup.

Piglet reaches his paw out to touch his shadow and then starts nuzzling the couch.

It's always good to make friends!

He was taken to a shelter nearby, where he required lots of fluids, as he was a little weak.

But he has recovered now and is having lots of adventures in this great foster family.

He even has a wild side alter ego named Pork Chop, who likes to be a bit mischievous, often hiding or ripping up things, or even going to the bathroom in the house! No Piglet!

But for the most part, he is just the cutest and sweetest itty-bitty foster puppy (as his foster mom refers to him), and we're here for it!

Check out this sweet video of him just being cute!

Senior Cat Full of Gratitude After Being Rescued From Shelter Given Most Fitting Name

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 8:28am

Some rescue cats take weeks to adjust. This senior grey gentleman? He acted like he'd been waiting his whole life for a random Monday rescue mission.

A viral TikTok shows a large senior grey cat who went home from the shelter with a woman who may have told her husband she was going to the craft store. Posted with the caption "He never even hid today. He just started walking around the house 😂 We're thinking of calling him Gandalf 🧙‍♂️🩶," the video captures this confident cat's immediate comfort in his new home.

"He's just laying next to us eating dinner tonight, like he's just grateful to be here with us," his new mom explains. "He's like, 'Oh, the dog? We go way back. The toddler? Love her!' He does not care. He's acting like he's just been waiting for me to stumble in on a random Monday and take him home."

Zero adjustment period. Zero hiding. Just pure, instant family vibes.

The comment section exploded with similar stories and perfect name suggestions. "Gandalf is the perfect name because he was like 'I shall not pass on this opportunity for a loving home,'" wrote one clever fan, nailing the Lord of the Rings reference.

Others shared their own surprise rescue experiences. "I did so much research before bringing my shelter cat home. I prepped everyone 'ok y'all, she's been in the shelter for months, she needs to acclimate to our noise by being left alone in the bathroom for a week.' 20 minutes home and she'd busted out of the bathroom and was playing laser with the kids and climbing up the bunk bed ladder to sleep with my youngest. I didn't know cats could do ladders."

One commenter offered breed insight: "It's very common for long-haired grey cats to be like this! In fact there are whole groups dedicated to natural 'nebbies' which are the non-pedigree look-alike of the Nebelung cat breed. All super friendly and chill. I've had two now and they are always joined at my hip haha."

The timeline varies for every cat: "My senior rescue hid for six months then one day decided 'this situation is cool' and came out of hiding."

But everyone agreed on one thing. "Senior kitties are seriously the best. They're so chill, and just want a warm loving place to sleep and follow their humans around. ❤"

Grey Cats Are Known for Gentle, Calm Personalities

Gandalf's immediate comfort reflects common grey cat personality traits. These felines are often independent yet playful, showing subtle affection through slow blinks, gentle head nudges and simply being near their humans.

Grey cats—including breeds like Russian Blues, Chartreux and the rare Nebelung—are naturally calm and gentle, making them excellent companions for families with children and other pets.

Abandoned 'Gentle Giant' Great Pyrenees Didn't Know Love - Then Everything Changed

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 7:48am

Some dogs bounce back from abandonment quickly. Teddy the Great Pyrenees? He needed time, patience, and an understanding family willing to let him heal at his own pace.

A viral TikTok from Meganddeann documents the heartbreaking yet hopeful rescue journey of Teddy, a gentle giant who spent his days outside in the snow and frigid temperatures, too afraid to come inside. "I didn't think he would come this close," his foster mom explains as Teddy cautiously approaches. "Our sweet Teddy was letting his guard down."

Every step required courage. Teddy inched closer to the doorway, stopping to smell and look around. His family gave him all the time he needed. After minutes of sitting at the threshold, Teddy finally placed both paws across—lured by treats into the safety and warmth he'd been denied for so long.

He went to his spot to eat his treat, then came back to say goodnight.

"We didn't want to push him too far tonight, but my gosh, we're so proud of him. We love you, our sweet Teddy!"

"He's building courage and you are so perfect with him. I can't imagine what he's been through. Seeing a big dog so cautious 🥲," observed one emotional fan.

Others offered encouragement: "Teddy!!! Way to go, brave pup!"

"This is my first time seeing your Teddy posts. My new favorite series 🥲," declared one new follower.

Bulldog 'Freezes' When His Puppies Are Around and It's Relatable

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 7:10am

Parenting can be intimidating, especially if you have a whole litter of little ones. It's easy and totally understandable to feel overwhelmed when you're outnumbered. Dogs gain an entire family of puppies at once and have to immediately rise to the challenge. While the brunt of responsibility falls on the mama canine, dog dads are sometimes called on to step up and take some of the load off their other half.

Jacoba the Bulldog was on duty with his many puppies while mom Della was taking a break, yet he seemed a bit out of his element.

@duranseaudogs

Something About baby sitting his kids he just can’t handle 😂 #englishbulldogsoftiktok #englishbulldog #fypシ゚viral #funny #dogsoftiktok

In the TikTok from @duranseaudogs, numerous adorable Bulldog puppies swarmed their dad, who was standing in the middle of the floor. Jacoba didn't move a muscle as his precious pups scampered and rolled around him, possibly hoping for some playtime with papa.

Despite the enthusiastic energy from his brood, Jacoba assumed a statue-like stance and wasn't sure what to do. The expression on his face revealed confusion and a little fear.

"Jacoba always freezes when the puppies are out," the onscreen text explained, with the caption adding, "Something about babysitting his kids he just can't handle."

The puppies seemed oblivious to their dad's disorientation and continued to enjoy their antics in his presence. Through it all, Jacoba didn't budge. It was hard to tell if he was frozen in fear or simply stood still to avoid any trouble.

Followers found Jacoba's coping mechanism a bit comical and guessed at what was going through his mind.

"That’s so funny!! He’s rethinking his life choices in that moment," one remarked.

"He’s like, I don’t want to do something I’m gonna get yelled at for," another joked.

"Mama has Papa trained well!! 'When babies are out, don’t move, twitch, or look at them, if you know what’s good for you!!'" someone posted.

Dog Dads Aren't Naturally Paternal

While female dogs have an inherent maternal instinct toward their puppies, papa pooches don't have that paternal pull toward their offspring.

Related: 8 Golden Retriever Puppies Go to the Vet and the Cutest Chaos Results

Yet male dogs are often protective toward any puppies since they're inclined to care for those they consider vulnerable, regardless of bloodline. They tend to exhibit compassion and extra care for children and smaller animals.

Jacoba may still have that "deer in the headlights" look around his kids, but he clearly loves his pups.

French Bulldog’s Snowy Encounter With a Field Mouse Is Unexpectedly Sweet

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 7:05am

French Bulldogs are beloved for their outgoing, sweet personalities. They’re often eager to meet new people and animals and seem happiest when they get to be part of whatever is happening around them.

For Winston, that friendly nature shows up during an unexpected encounter in the snow with a tiny field mouse.

In an Instagram clip shared by @bigskyfrenchies on February 3, Winston spots the mouse and reacts with pure curiosity. Rather than lunging or trying to capture the tiny creature, Winston bounces around with playful bows and excited little hops, clearly treating the moment like an invitation to play.

You can watch the moment unfold here:

View this post on Instagram

He couldn’t be cuter if he tried. Even though the mouse was much smaller and could have triggered a prey response, Winston’s body language tells a very different story. His movements stay loose and bouncy, his posture relaxed. Everything about the interaction suggests he’s trying to start a game, not corner or capture the tiny visitor.

Related: French Bulldog Surrendered for ‘Aggression’ Shows a Sweet Turnaround in Just 48 Hours

The mouse, for its part, didn’t seem thrilled to be included in a snowy play session, but it didn’t appear overly alarmed either. It calmly moved along as Winston bounced nearby, creating a moment that perfectly captures how gentle and socially motivated many French Bulldogs can be.

Fans were quick to react. Viewer @californiadreamfrenchies wrote, “Cutest thing I’ve ever seen!” while @coleeeworld_ joked, “Meanwhile, the mouse is having the worst day of his life.” Another commenter, @juicymamaa_, added, “Funny, weren’t Frenchies bred to catch rats?”

French Bulldogs Were Once Used as Ratters

That last comment touched on an interesting piece of breed history. French Bulldogs descend from toy English bulldogs that were once used as rat catchers, particularly in industrial areas where rodent control was necessary. While today’s Frenchies are best known as companion dogs, those early instincts haven’t disappeared entirely.

Image via Shutterstock/ Anna Giraldo

That history still shows up in activities like Barn Hunt, a modern dog sport that allows dogs to use scenting and problem-solving skills to locate rats that are safely housed in protective tubes. According to the French Bulldog Club of America, many Frenchies enjoy Barn Hunt because it taps into their natural curiosity.

Winston’s snowy encounter, though, leans far more playful than purposeful. Instead of chasing, he responds with enthusiasm and friendliness, turning a chance meeting in the snow into a moment that feels light, gentle, and unmistakably Frenchie.

Cane Corso Rocks Chuck Taylors With Maximum Confidence—Coordination Not Included

Wed, 02/11/2026 - 6:55am

Some dogs take to shoes like naturals. This Cane Corso? He walked like he'd forgotten how legs work.

A viral TikTok shows a determined Cane Corso strutting down the street in four red Chuck Taylor high tops, channeling John Travolta's iconic "Saturday Night Fever" walk—if Travolta had suddenly lost all sense of coordination and balance.

Posted with the caption "When the Cane Corso walks like this because of the shoes 😭🐶 Absolutely betrayed by his own feet," the video captures this big guy's first experience with footwear, and the results are hilariously dramatic.

Each step is deliberate, stiff-legged and uncertain. His serious face suggests he's taking this fashion moment very seriously, even if his feet have other ideas. What he lacks in grace, he absolutely makes up for in style and determination.

"Look at that strut. You've got a whole new walk, buddy!" his dad observes, clearly amused by the transformation.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WXYD8QqRDgQ

His mom, holding the leash and giggling, encourages him: "Come on, big guy, you're working it!"

"Those sneakers are doing the most," Dad adds, watching the wobbly performance unfold.

Mom imagines the inner dialogue perfectly: "Why are my feet so noisy?"

The dramatic, confused steps combined with the dog's utterly serious expression make the clip comedy gold. He's turning heads alright—just not quite for the reasons John Travolta did.

Despite the awkward gait, this Cane Corso soldiers on with impressive determination, proving that sometimes confidence matters more than coordination.

Cane Corsos Are Intelligent Working Dogs Who Need Mental Stimulation

This big guy's willingness to tackle the shoe challenge—however awkwardly—demonstrates the Cane Corso's trademark determination and loyalty to their humans. These ancient Italian mastiffs are incredibly intelligent working dogs who thrive when given tasks and challenges.

Cane Corso Is the Best Protector Checking on His Sick Brother

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 9:45pm

When it comes to dogs that are fierce protectors, deeply loyal to their humans, it’s tough to compete with a Cane Corso. These big dogs are all heart, forming deep bonds with their people and making them one of the best family dog breeds. In a recent video shared to social media, a child’s sick day was made a whole lot nicer thanks to the care of his trusted Cane Corso.

This video came across our TikTok feed, giving us one of those instant lumps in your throat that means a good cry is on its way. Cane Corsos may look intimidating, but with proper training, supervision, and early socialization, this breed is known to form deep bonds with their humans and serve as dedicated protectors for their people.

Due to their size, they need extensive training from a young age and should always be supervised with kids.

As if you’d have it any other way.

Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy's Funny Way of Sitting Is Legit Internet Gold

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 9:20pm

Between my two dogs, I have one hyperactive, unhinged (but cute) psychopath and one oddball senior dude who screams a lot. I guess you could say I'm a magnet for all things weird (and totally OK with that)!

One pup who I know my two silly canines would dig is Bernese Mountain Dog, Jinx, and it's solely based on the way he sits. He's quirky, adorable, and oh, so sweet, but this position is a definite choice.

Smiling Bernese Mountain Dog puppy sits outside.

Seeing a little guy like Jinx feels like taking a triple shot of espresso, and it's 99.9% because of the way he poses. He's already got the cuteness down, and this really amps it up a few notches.

The funny video is a snapshot into life with a puppy. Jinx understood the assignment and said, "Hold my Milk-Bone." The unique position may be Guinness World Records material because I've never seen any other dog sit like this (though mine definitely would if they could)!

As far as Bernese Mountain Dog puppies go, Jinx is doing the breed a huge favor by showing his vivacious personality. It only takes 7 seconds of film, and we learn everything we need to know about this comical pup. As one person wrote, "The way he sits is slayyyyyyying me," and same, girl, same!

Jinx Is Kind of a Big Deal

My dogs may be the kind of pooches Jinx would love to sit and gossip with, but he's headed for internet superstardom, so he probably won't have the time. It's cool because he's so cute, he's allowed to do anything he wants (and get away with it)!

The 12-week-old earth angel is still fairly new to all the social platforms, but he's already racking up hundreds of thousands of likes and comments from a plethora of new fans. He's gotten some traction with a couple viral videos, but one shows how floppy, fluffy, and perfect he is with his tongue out!

Persian and Ragdoll Siblings Turn Late-Night Zoomies Into a Full-on Club Scene

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:55pm

Late-night energy hits differently for cats, especially when the lights are low and the mood feels just a little chaotic. Zoomies aren’t just about running; they’re about vibes, momentum, and committing fully to the moment. Add dramatic lighting, and suddenly it’s a whole event.

That’s exactly what unfolds in this video as Persian and Ragdoll siblings race, bounce, and play under lighting that feels straight out of a nightclub. Their synchronized chaos turns ordinary zoomies into a full-on, after-hours scene. It’s ridiculous, joyful, and impossible not to watch twice. Take a look!

On February 2, TikTok user @meekojuniper shared a video of the beautiful Ragdoll cat named Juniper and her Persian cat sister Meeko, who both found themselves with the late-night zoomies at the same time. These zoomies turned the intense unleashing of energy into something like we'd treat a night full of dancing at the club. It helps that the kitties are listening to a Harry Styles song, too.

At first, it looks like Juniper is just hanging out, listening to music while focusing on something we can't see. But then the camera pivots. Now we see two fluffy cats who have a whole lot of energy and are taking full advantage of having a friend in the home who has pent-up energy they need to expel before bedtime, too.

One is running this way. The other is going that way. Then they end up in the exact same spot as each other, and with their cat reflexes, jump up and sideways just before they collide. A funny move that only happens when cats have that wild zoomie energy, and it's so fun and cute.

In the comments, people shared all the emojis to show how much they loved seeing these two go a little wild, with the color flickering from the TV and fun music to go along with it.

What Are the Zoomies That Cats Get?

Watching these two cats running around, all wild and zooming, is so hilarious and such a cat thing to do. But what are the zoomies, and why do cats get them?

According to PetMD, zoomies, which are scientifically known as frenetic random activity periods (FRAPs), are what cats and dogs do when they have random, seemingly out-of-nowhere bursts of energy. They don't make any sense and thankfully don't last too long, but the reason cats do this, according to science, is to run out their leftover energy.

The site adds that running out their energy isn't the only reason science believes cats (and other animals) get the zoomies; other factors include natural instincts, post-litter box relief, age, and environmental triggers. But we can probably all agree that it's as equal-parts funny as it is cute.

Gigantic Calico Cat Looks Like She's Missing Pants With a 'Winnie the Pooh Belly'

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:20pm

It seems like pretty much all cats are born with some level of that "no care cattitude." The confidence, audacity, and general sass make for some funny (yet intimidating) kitties who will probably run the world someday. Add to that an unforgettable look, and our next ruler is chosen.

I can promise you one thing: You've never seen a Calico cat like Bean. This humongous girl's Tortie swirl design, combined with the sheer size of her frame, make her one of the most interesting-looking felines around. Winnie the Pooh could never compete with "Bean Bag!"

Bean is a gigantic cat, living her life loud and proud, as she should. This beauty's coat really does give Winnie the Pooh vibes. Credit goes to her no-pants, belly-out appearance, but also the fact that she sits like a grown human man.

Please look at Bean and tell her she's a star.

Bean doing Bean things means giving Mom all the "cattitude" she can muster. She's a total Monday mood that I feel to the core. The Calico-Tortie mix doesn't care what you think of her, so don't bother cramping her style.

If, like me, you've watched the minute-long video and then indulged in a slew of previous Bean content, congrats. This is the club of Bean, where we celebrate the self-assured kitty. Bonus: Pause the video at the 5-second mark, and you'll spot a framed photo of Bean on the wall, which is peak cat mom energy!

Bean's Currently on a Health Journey

Plenty of Bean's fans have commented on her bigger size. We don't fat-shame here, but for those concerned, Mom shared that the fancy feline's on a healthy journey to drop a few pounds. It takes time to adopt new routines, so give the sweet cat some grace.

She's happy, loved, and enjoying life no matter her size. Being a Calico with a couple extra servings of "Tortitude" to boot means she'll keep her funny, opinionated personality at every weight, so accept her as she is or not at all!

Dog Brings His Tortoise Best Friend a Stick and His Tail Won’t Stop Wagging

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 8:16pm

Most dogs enjoy palling around with other dogs, but not Skippy. This pup's unlikely bestie is a large tortoise named Tilly G, and TikTok can't get enough of their sweet friendship. In this recent video, Skippy starts his morning by bringing Tilly a stick, and the pup's tush says it all. He's elated to be near his friend, and his rhythmic tail wagging, timed perfectly with the music, is downright irresistible.

Skippy brings Tilly G a gift of a stick & leaves it for him 🎁🥺

♬ Param-Pam-Pam - Carlos Campos

From a deeper dive into their videos, it seems that Skippy makes it a habit of bringing Tilly sticks and leaves because he knows that his friend loves them -- for eating, not playing fetch. Can you imagine how that footage would go? Slow and steady would be my guess.

This other video in particular does a sweet job of cataloging the various types of gifts Skippy likes to bestow, and it also highlights the genuine love these two share. Tilly does her best to keep up with Skippy as he flits around the yard, and the doting dog shakes his bum with glee whenever he sees his pal. Skippy even pets the tortoise ever so gently on the head, which is beyond adorable.

@tillygthetortoise

He likes to bring him toys and pet him in the head

♬ Be My Baby - The Ronettes Dogs Bearing Gifts

Why the repeated generosity toward Tilly? Whether a dog is in the habit of greeting you, their human protector, with random objects when you arrive home or delivering sticks to their favorite turtle friend, they're not being weird — they're communicating.

Dogs explore the world with their mouths, and bringing you objects can mean a few different things. Some dogs offer their favorite toy as a sign of affection and trust. In their mind, you’re important enough to guard their prized possession. Go Tilly!

Some dogs just grab the nearest object when you come home. Carrying something helps them channel big feelings and keep from jumping or barking. If they stare at you expectantly or snatch it back when you reach for it, congratulations — you’ve been invited to a game.

Related: Dachshund's Pure Love for His Little Stuffed Lion Brings All the Warm and Fuzzies

Dogs sometimes hold a toy when nervous (think: vacuum running or you putting on shoes to leave). It helps them calm down. Dogs also use this behavior as a form of conversation. If your pup brings items before walks, meals, or bedtime, they may be signaling what they want.

And if it’s always the same toy (or stick)? That’s usually comfort. Familiar objects carry your scent and positive memories — a security blanket, dog edition.

Poodle Mix's Giant, Fluffy Body and Teeny-Tiny Head Are Stealing Hearts All Over

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:55pm

A fluffy Poodle mix with a giant fluffy body and a teeny-tiny head is quietly taking over everyone’s feed. The Toy Poodle mix, known for that signature curly coat and teddy bear texture, looks like someone adjusted the fluff settings on the body but forgot to scale up the head.

The Poodle mix’s dramatic head-to-body ratio is what makes this clip so unforgettable. With thick, cloud-like curls covering his frame and a comparatively small, neat little head perched on top, this fluffy dog looks like a walking cotton ball with legs.

View this post on Instagram

The video was shared on the Instagram account nao77001048, which describes Kinako as “my fluffy, cute, and amazing Toy Poodle.” Kinako even landed a feature on the We Rate Dogs Instagram account, where the comments absolutely spiraled.

“I thought this was a dog account, why is there a(n adorable) sheep on this post!?” one person wrote.

“This pup looks like every child's drawing of any animal ever.”

“Unfollowing. Since when did this page start rating llamas and alpacas?”

And perhaps the most accurate compliment: “The head-to-toe fluff ratio is sublime.”

Related: Adorable Italian Greyhound Looks Like She Has Wacky Spaghetti Arms

Watching Kinako immediately unlocked a memory for me. Years ago, I tried a new at-home grooming service for Kingston. They showed up, they were lovely, and then they shaved his entire body down… but left his head completely fluffy. I did not specify. I assumed balance would happen naturally. It did not.

Kingston looked like a lollipop with legs. Or maybe a Q-tip that learned how to walk. It was not adorable in the intentional way Kinako is adorable. It was chaotic. I learned very quickly that grooming proportions matter deeply.

Kinako, on the other hand, looks like this was the goal all along. The body fluff is dramatic but shaped, the tiny head polished and neat. It feels less accidental and more stylish.

Finding the right groomer for your dog often comes down to communication and experience. For breeds like Poodle mixes, where coat shape and balance make a huge visual difference, it is important to work with someone familiar with curly coats and breed-specific trims.

Ask to see photos of previous work, especially on similar breeds. Be clear about proportions, head shape, and overall style preferences. A good groomer will listen and explain what will work best for your dog’s coat texture and face shape.

Trust me, if you have ever accidentally ended up with a tiny fluffy head floating on a shaved body, you understand how important that conversation is. And if you get it right, you might just end up with a fluff ratio so sublime the internet thinks you adopted a sheep.

Pit Bulls With Kisses All Over Their Faces Will Inspire Your Valentine's Day Pet Photos

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:20pm

The heart-in-the-snow trend did get some traction, but that one requires you to be cold. However, you can do this new photo trend indoors, and it's just so sweet!

And all you have to do is give your dog some sweet kisses on their face, which we bet you were doing, anyway!

Here is a great example from the account @honeybeemommyy of the cutest Pit Bulls sporting some big red lipstick kisses on their sweet faces.

Though doing a photo shoot like this of your pet costs practically nothing, many people like to spend some serious money on their pets on Valentine's Day... and really, all the time.

The global luxury pet accessories market was valued at $4 billion in 2023, and it's projected to reach $6.7 billion by 2033, according to data from Market.us

This should be no surprise, considering our canine companions now have designer beds by the likes of Jonathan Adler for Ruggable, their own airlines like BARKAir (which also has a dog travel concierge service), and pet pampering packages at elite hotels, including the Palm House hotel in Palm Beach.

We are also seeing the rise of fine jewelry for dogs. One notable brand is D Diamond New York, the first American fine jewelry house dedicated exclusively to dogs, which is at the forefront of this.

Related: Pit Bull Who Thinks She's Human Tries To Trade Places With Mom at the Vet

Founded in NYC by Racheli Waters Shamir, the brand applies the same exacting standards and materials used in high-end jewelry to collars and pendants designed as timeless heirlooms rather than pet “costumes.”

Every collar and charm is approached with the discipline of a fine jewelry house, handcrafted in New York by master jewelers from solid 18K gold and high-grade diamonds.

The idea was born from a quiet realization inspired by Shamir’s two rescues, Fancy and Luli, and the brand gives back 10% of its annual profits to no-kill canine shelters.

So whether you show love to your pet by smothering them with kisses or giving them a diamond dog collar, just share all the love!

Merle Bernese Mountain Dog Is Pure Cookies and Cream Goodness

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 7:00pm

If I didn't have three Boston Terriers already, I think I would want to have a Bernese Mountain Dog. I've always loved big dogs, and I fell in love with this particular breed when I was younger. They're perfect!

Just when I thought they couldn't get better, I was proven wrong. There's a new dog in the house: a Merle Bernese Mountain Dog. He's still a baby, and he has the kind of cookies-and-cream coat that dreams are made of:

@decadentart

♬ Here's Some Love - Tanya Tucker

Country Paradise Farm is a very interesting place: they breed sporthorses, and they breed these dogs. It makes sense: if you run a farm, you should have farm dogs, right? Who better than some cookies and cream cuties?!

The one in this video is Balu: he's still little. He's actually a Bernese Mountain Dog/Australian Shepherd mix, which is how he got this stunning coat color. Merle is not naturally occuring in BMDs, so mixing in the Aussie is the only way to bring it in.

Related: Cat Proves She's the Boss of Big Bernese Mountain Dog Sibling With One Simple Move

Aussie Mountain Dogs are a decently popular sort of "catch-all" farm breed. Between the breeds, they cover a wide variety of tasks:

  1. Cart pulling.
  2. Herding.
  3. Guarding.
  4. Alerting.

The general hope with mixing these breeds together is that they'll be able to create a slightly more mild Australian Shepherd. An extremely driven and intelligent dog, but with more of that classic Bernese temper. Of course, the gorgeous pups don't hurt:

@decadentart

♬ I'll Be There - Instrumental Love Songs

This one even has different-colored eyes. I need 14 of them right now.

Are Merle Bernese Mountain Dogs Purebred?

Merle is absolutely a trait that can naturally occur in some dog breeds, like Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds, Great Danes, and more. However, there are plenty of other Merle dogs out there who are not purebred.

"Merle" is the gene that produces that spotty coat. Though it often appears as a "high-end" color option, Merle does not naturally occur in Bernese Mountain Dogs or other breeds such as:

  1. Poodles
  2. Bernedoodles
  3. Golden Retrievers
  4. English or French Bulldogs

If you find a Merle dog in any of these breeds, it means that they've been crossbred somewhere down the line. That's fine, but you'll need to do extra research. If your chosen breeder is unethical, they may be putting dogs and puppies at risk for Double Merle.

Country Paradise Farm is up front about the fact that they sell Aussie/Bernese crosses. Always do your research, and check shelters, too: many of them have Merle dogs waiting for forever homes!

Shop Cat 'Barks' Her Disapproval After Being Moved From Desk Seat

Tue, 02/10/2026 - 6:55pm

At King’s Outdoor Power in Clinton, South Carolina, Miss Briggs may not officially run the shop, but as the resident cat, she certainly acts like she does.

Employee Joey Grubb, who goes by JY, jokingly refers to her as their HR manager. And while she doesn’t clock in or out, it’s clear she considers the office—and especially the desk chair—hers.

Miss Briggs Doesn't Want to Give Up Her Spot @jygrubb

Miss Briggs the shop cat Does not like to give up her office chair ...Sometimes she thinks she is a dog and She will literally bark when she is not happy! 🤣🤣 #pets #catsoftiktok #catlover #cat #animals SHARE MISS BRIGGS THE SHOP CAT PLEASE..

♬ original sound - JY & Miss Briggs The Shop Cat!

A TikTok shared by JY captures the moment Miss Briggs is asked to vacate her favorite seat so he can continue his work. Curled up in the office chair and clearly settled in, she’s less than thrilled when JY tells her, “You gotta get out of my seat. I ain’t through working. C’mon.”

He taps the desk and gives her a few gentle nudges to encourage her to move. Miss Briggs does not budge, unfazed by deadlines or polite requests. When JY tries lifting her, she responds with a series of small, irritated meows—audible evidence that she strongly disagrees with this decision. “No, I’m not through,” JY replies, as if the two are in the middle of a workplace negotiation.

Related: Cats 'Voicing' Disapproval Over Dinner Being Late Are the Ultimate Tag Team

At one point, JY places her front paws on the desk while leaving her back half in the chair. Miss Briggs immediately pivots and tries to reclaim her seat.

Eventually, JY lifts her fully and places her on the desk. That’s when Miss Briggs delivers her most dramatic response yet: a sharp, bark-like sound paired with a brief lunge in his direction. Laughter ensues and JY responds by wagging a finger and calmly saying, “You don’t need to be mean,” while Miss Briggs stares back, unapologetic.

In the caption, JY explains the behavior perfectly: “Miss Briggs the shop cat does not like to give up her office chair. Sometimes she thinks she is a dog, and she will literally bark when she is not happy!”

Adding to the humor is the fact that there’s a large cat tree sitting just behind the desk, completely ignored. But as any cat person knows, this was never about a lack of options. It was about ownership.

Funny Reactions to Miss Briggs the Barking Cat

The comments section quickly filled with jokes, mock outrage and plenty of support for the shop’s four-legged HR manager.

“Miss Briggs is this man bothering you queen??” one person asks, perfectly summing up the internet’s immediate instinct to side with the cat.

Others focused on correcting the workplace hierarchy altogether. “First of all, it’s the cat’s shop not the shop cat 😂” added another.

Many viewers were rightfully stunned by her unexpected vocal response once she was moved. “She did not just bark like a unhappy dog 😂” commented another viewer.

And while most commenters simply cheered Miss Briggs on, one person offered what might be the most realistic solution of all: “I think you need two chairs.”

It’s clear the internet is team Miss Briggs all the way—and frankly, so are we.
