Flavor Flav Says He Was Asked to Be on 'DWTS'
Is Flavor Flav joining next season of Dancing With The Stars?
During an interview with People published on Tuesday, Feb. 3, the rapper and television personality revealed he's returning to reality TV two decades after his iconic VH1 dating series Flavor of Love first premiered.
“I am getting ready to do another reality TV show, but it's going to be bigger than Flavor of Love,” Flavor Flav said. “It's not going to be a dating concept. The reason why is because I have already been there. I’ve done that. I set the tone for all other reality dating shows.”
“I want to come back with something bigger and better and something that's going to have me lasting on TV longer. I got something in the works,” he continued. “I got something for you guys, and this is a show that I'll be able to do until my death.”
In addition to this new secret project, Flavor Flav said he was asked to join next season of DWTS. During season 34, he appeared as a guest judge for "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night."
"They want me to,” he said. “They want me to come back and dance. I don't know. I might do it if I think I could do it.”
When asked if he thinks he could do it, he replied, “No, no, I don’t.”

Flavor Flav hasn't shut down the idea entirely, noting that he "had fun" as a guest judge even though he made a mistake with scoring — awarding Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy a nine when he meant to give them a perfect 10.
“I was trying to change it back to a 10, and they were like, ‘No, Flavor,’” he explained. “Everybody was like, ‘How could you do that?’”
At the DWTS live taping in November, Flav told the outlet that, as a non-dancer, he scored the couples mostly based on "precision."
"I looked for the perfect timing. You know what I'm saying? And I looked for the perfect teamwork. Each one of these couples tonight had all that and more," he said at the time.

It’s not complicated. These bands rip. These artists and vendors are singular. It’s housed in one of the greatest venues in the country and curated by freaks. Something for your heart and for your mind.”

CBS Reopens Investigation Into ‘Matlock’ Cast Member’s Firing
David Del Rio, who played associate lawyer Billy Martinez on the CBS series Matlock, was dismissed from the show in October 2025 after a co-star reported an alleged sexual assault incident to the network.
According to multiple reports, the studio’s internal inquiry led to his being escorted off the Paramount lot and written out of the series on the same day the allegation was made.
At the time, Matlockwas in production on its second season. Del Rio’s character was subsequently written out of upcoming episodes.
Reopened Investigation and Actor’s ResponseCBS later reopened its internal investigation into the matter, conducting further interviews with Del Rio and others connected to the situation.
A report from TMZ states the reopened review has concluded again, and Del Rio’s legal team, led by attorney Shawn Holley, is seeking access to the findings. According to the outlet, his representatives believe the results could help clarify the circumstances of his firing.
CBS Studios has declined formal comment on the status or outcome of the internal review, and it is unclear whether the company will release the investigation’s conclusions publicly.

‘West Side Story’ Legend Rita Moreno Is 94 and Gorgeous in New Instagram Post Honoring Bad Bunny
Rita Moreno is 94 and not slowing down one bit!
The Puerto Rican actress, singer, and dancer, who is also an EGOT (she has an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony), smiled brightly while sitting on her couch, clutching an issue of People that celebrated her special relationship with Bad Bunny. The gray-haired goddess, who sported black glasses and bright red nails, looked happy and healthy for the joyful moment.
"Hey everybody, do I have news for you?! Our dear and beloved Benito has a special edition of @people OUT TODAY. The whole magazine is devoted to him. You can find me on pages 42 and 43 with the Bunny, doing a little salsa from the Latin Billboard Awards," she shared. (Benito is Bad Bunny's real first name.) "BTW you DAWG, you looked absolutely smashing for your historic Grammy night. Felicidades! Can’t wait for the Super Bowl next week."
View this post on Instagram Moreno Presented Bad Bunny With a Billboard Latin Music Award HonorBack in October, Moreno presented Bad Bunny with the career achievement award of top Latin artist of the 21st century. In her presentation speech, she spoke of the journey she went through to have a career.
"When I started my career, being Latino in the United States meant facing barriers, prejudices, and many closed doors. Opportunities were few, almost non-existent, and every small step forward was a victory," Moreno shared, USA Today reported.
"Today, I see an artist who brings to the entire world that same strength, that same passion that helped me never give up," Moreno continued. "It moves me from the bottom of my heart, Benito, to present you with the Billboard Latin artist of the 21st century award."

“I'm looking forward to more of the same,” she told PEOPLE about what she hopes for in the year ahead. “I'm very, very fortunate indeed!"
The year before, the EGOT legend reflected on her lifelong passion for the arts.
“If you’re lucky, truly, truly lucky, the love of your life isn’t just a person," she said at the time. "It is something that travels with you from childhood, probably til your last breath. For me, that has always been the arts, which have seduced me and sustained me.”

Rick Devens Reveals He Almost Missed 'Survivor 50' — And Why It Was ‘Actually a Gift’ (Exclusive)
Rick Devens is truly a man of second chances. The standout Edge of Extinction player kicked off his Survivor career as a premerge boot, only to roar back to life and put together an astounding string of immunity wins, idol finds and Tribal Council theatrics to eventually go down in literal flames. For the past seven years, he was waiting for the opportunity when, not if, he'd be back. But when he finally got the call, it wasn't the top story the former newscaster wanted to hear. He was in the cast of Survivor 50…but as an alternate.
The winds of fate, however, as strong as the breezes blowing the night of his firemaking elimination, brought him back to Fiji. At the end of the day, he had been added to the cast after all. But the 41-year-old considers being in casting purgatory a "gift," allowing him to feel less pressure and be more playful. But make no mistake: Despite Rick's desires to have fun, he plans on slowplaying his usual flashy style, looking to instead connect with the moms, one-time players, and "lunatics." And he's hoping this time, rather than putting up walls to vulnerability, he'll bust them down with the energy of the Kool-Aid Man.
Read on for my interview with Rick, and check in with Parade daily for interviews with this season's contestants and other tidbits. Survivor 50 premieres on Feb. 25 with a three-hour episode on CBS.

I want to start with how you're coming into this game. People who played in the late 30s, with a couple of exceptions, haven't had the opportunity to return. Was there any worry you'd be, for lack of a better term, "yesterday's news" and you wouldn't get the chance to come back? What was your reaction when you were given the offer?
So can I give you a little bit of backstory. So first of all, absolutely, I thought I was coming right back. Because I was on a returnee season, they did them all the time back then. So I had such a good showing, I'm like, "I can't wait to go back right." When I got back, I get this for Christmas. [Shows bracelet.] It's a bracelet with Becca and Jack and Juliet, my kids' names on it. [I thought], "I'll wear that next time." And it's been in my drawer for seven years waiting for this. [Laughs.]
And I went through the casting process. Felt great about it, a couple of awesome interviews, seeing the gang again. I was an alternate for a while. They called me out of nowhere and were like, "Hey, will you be an alternate? We think you have the great attitude for it." And I'm crushed, but of course! And then on Mother's Day, Jesse from casting texted me, "We wanna talk to you tomorrow."
So I get on this Zoom, and Jeff pops up, and I'm like, "Yes!" And then Jeff goes, "Devens, you know how much we love you. You know how much we think of you." And I'm like, "Ugh!" And then he's like, "And that's why we want you to come on Season 50!" So that was awful.
But in terms of my headspace now, it was actually kind of a gift. Because I didn't think I was going to be here when they told me I was an alternate. And before I'd had so much pressure, like, "I got to go back. I got to do these things. I got to make it far." And then finding out I'm not going to be here, it was like, "Well, damn. I should have just gone out there and had fun and gone crazy." And then they tell me I'm on. It's like, "Well, I guess I'll just go have fun and be crazy." So I'm coming in with a total spirit of playfulness. I feel great looking around at the people I met. I think I'm gonna fit in perfectly from a strategic standpoint. And I'm ready, man! I'm so amped.
So, from that perspective of playfulness, let's talk about your reputation coming in. We watched you on your original season win four Immunity Challenges, play four idols, and create all these Tribal Council theatrics. Are you going to try to steer into that again? Or is it more of a Winners at War-style Tony, sitting on your hands and not leaving camp?
It's great that you brought him up, because I'm trying to learn from Tony. Great on his first time, great on his third time. Second time, llama call, running off, that's what I have to keep myself from doing. Because I do want to lean into idols and advantages, real or fake. But I know that I gotta pace myself. It's a 26-day game. I can't do it all in the first 26 hours. gotta kind of lay low, keep my head down, build some real relationships.
And I think I can find my way in this game, because I'm not connected to anyone, Mike. I'm sure we'll get into that. But I see myself as being that extra piece in the beginning. And then when all these people are that are connected start turning on each other, and it gets real messy and nasty, that's when I start picking up pieces. And then who knows what's going on with advantages at that point? And then the game just turns all Devens!
Well, let's get into this group, and all the possible connections you can make. We're gonna play a game called "Friend or Foe." I'm going to give you a name of someone on the cast, and you have to tell me if they're someone you want to work with, or someone you see as an enemy or threat. Starting with Jenna.
Friend. Getting good vibes from Jenna. I think it's been a long time since she's played. She's gonna want someone she can rely on, and is a fellow parent. Let's do this. Let's ride.
Colby.
Good Friend. He's a Friend. He's a little bit of a curmudgeon pregame, I gotta be honest. A little bit of Reem in him. And I love Reem Daly. So I think Colby is gonna work out. I think he'll be more drawn to me than some of the newer folks or younger folks.
Stephenie.
Foe unfortunately. I thought Stephanie was gonna be someone — and maybe she is, because it's all gonna change when we get our feet in the sand. But I'm not getting a lot of good vibes around pre-game. And I'm the guy like making eye contact with everybody, smiling at everybody. She's not giving me anything, Mr. Bloom.
Cirie.
Cirie is a Foe. Unfortunately, she's not giving me anything either. And she's obviously so connected to so many other people.
Ozzy.
Ozzy kind of surprised me, but I think a Friend. I think that we're gonna be good. And I was told by Stephen Fishbach that if I approach Ozzy authentically, that we could work together pretty well. So if Fishbach says it…
He could be sabotaging you right now.
[Laughs.] That would be just like Stephen Fishbach to sabotage me.
Coach.
Friend. I was surprised by this, too. But Coach, I mean, he's giving it off to everybody. He's the one who talks more than anyone pregame, but I get a good vibe off. Also Fishbach said, "You guys are both lunatics. I think you could work okay together." So Friend.

You said you didn't have any connections this season. But let's get into someone you played with. What are your thoughts on Aubry?
Aubry, Friend. Even though we never played together, we spent three days on the Edge of Extinction, one day in-game at Ponderosa, and I like her a lot. She's a mom now, so come on in. I want to work with all the moms! I want to be on the "Mothership Alliance." So major Friend.
Chrissy.
Friend. I have so much respect for Chrissy. I met her once in a "Hearts of Reality" thing. I know her story since she's played last, and I want good things for her. I don't want to make the mistake I made with Reem with Chrissy. I wish we hadn't voted out Reem first, and I want to keep Chrissy around for a while, if that's a possibility.
Angelina.
Friend. Lunatic alliance, baby! [Laughs.] She's someone who's given everyone good vibes. She's like me pregame playing with everybody. But I think that she and I can be friends.
Christian.
Christian is the wild card, Mike. Here's the deal with Christian. Not getting the good vibes. I hoped I would. We have a lot of friends in common, but we've never talked on the phone and we've never met in person. But he's actually the person I want to play with more than anybody. He's who I see David Wright [as]. He sees the game totally different than me, very strategic. I would love to work with him. But he's very locked down, I think for everybody, but certainly for me. But Friend, I'm still optimistic.
Mike.
Friend, but barely. He's giving me good vibes, but like he's Mike White. [Laughs.] Who knows?
Let's move into the new era, starting with Jonathan.
Good vibes from Jonathan. Friend. I've never won a tribal immunity, so I hope I'm with Jonathan.
I hadn't actually thought about that! But makes total sense. How about Dee?
Dee scares the hell out of me. She scares me more than anyone here. I podcasted for "On Fire" about her season. And I told her when she was in the interview on the last episode, I was like, "Best winner of the new era!" And I believe it. And she's not giving me anything pregame.
No "On Fire" solidarity?
Just wait for how little "On Fire" solidarity there is. [Laughs.]
Robert Voets/CBS
Well, before we get to that, what are your thoughts on Emily?
Friend. This was someone I was skeptical about. She's actually been making eyes pregame, so I'm optimistic.
Alright, let's go back to "On Fire" here. Charlie: Friend or Foe?
Charlie I look at as a winner. I'm sorry, Maria, but I think Charlie should have won. Sorry Kenzie, too. But he's a huge threat. And part of me thinks I could be a little Ben Katzman-like. We could be great buds. But he's also just so good at this game and really charming and smart and good at a variety of challenges. Scary guy. And locked down pregame, not giving much.
You cited a couple of "lunatics" before. Let's talk about a "Q-natic."
[Laughs.] "Q-natic," baby! Q, what a wild card. He has been giving me nothing pregame. And then last night, smiles; this morning, smiles. I'm like, "Where'd this guy come from?" He's my son Jack's favorite. Jack specifically was like,"Play with Q." I'm like, "Alright, man!" I'm telling Q that. I'll be authentic. Like, "My son wants us to play together."
But then Q's gonna be like, "Do you really want to betray me and hurt your son's feelings?"
[Laughs.] And I won't! We'll go all the way to the end together, and then I'll beat him.
How about Tiffany?
Tiffany is someone who is a Friend. I don't know if she knows that. I don't know if I'm gonna be her friend, but I've been having delusion into playing with Tiffany, because I think we could kind of do a Kyle/Kamilla thing, unsuspected. We don't have much in common on the surface level. But I like her so much. I think she's kind of the least suspected to be on this cast. And I'm like, "I was a freaking alternate, Tiffany." Let's go show him what the hell we're about. That's kind of where I'm coming from. She might not have any time for me. [Laughs.] But I'm hoping she's gonna be a very good friend.
Geneveive.
Oh, Genevieve, Friend. She puts off just this amazing air. I like her so much. I want a co-worker with her. That's scary as hell. But Friend.
Joe.
Foe, unfortunately. Because, first of all, I want to win four more Immunity Challenges. And I'm sure he wants to win four more immunity challenges, and I don't think there's a lot of overlap in the one to win. But I'm not doing "honest and integrity," man. I'm hoping to bounce back and forth a little bit. I don't think that's something he's gonna like very much.
Kamilla.
Kamilla is someone I thought was going to be a Foe. But I really like her vibe. There have been a couple little incidents where I'm an idiot — and I'm acting even more of an idiot pregame, by the way, purposely. Really buying into this dad thing, Lion King t-shirt, like, "Super Dad" t-shirt.
I mean, you are really leaning into the "Hakuna Matata" of it all!
Yeah, totally. And I don't know if they mentioned it, but I'm so fascinated by the birds, so fascinated by the geckos. Part of it's authentic, but she laughs at these different things. I'm like, "Man, maybe Kamilla is someone I would want to work with." Knowing that she's a killer and will probably just dog me in a couple of confessionals, which will be hilarious. But Friend.
How about Kyle?
Same vibe. Which isn't surprising, right? Because they have so much in common. I want to be maybe a little bit Guyanese this season, like, just get in there! [Laughs.] Because at first, they both scared me so much. Huge targets, we just saw them play. Winner, could have been winner. But now I'm like, "That might not be bad." If I vibe with them, to have someone that big of a target next to me, why would they care about me if Kyle and Kamilla are there?
Any thoughts about the 49 players?
"RizGod," I like him. There's a monster in there. He seems like a nice young man around here. But if that monster wants to play with me, that could be cool. I think a lot of people screw up with younger folks, kind of like Bruce. You want to be a dad, you want to impart knowledge, or impress them. And I'm just an immature dude! Gavin was 23 when we played, and he's my best friend. I think I can relate to him on just a level. And if he wants to cause mischief, which I kind of feel like he does, then I can be his "RickGod." We can go in there and just do it.
The other one, who, I think, is named Savannah, who, if Reddit is correct, is a news reporter from Georgia. I'm like, "Channel Four News team!" That could be fun. But if it's true that she's a news reporter in Atlanta, and she's that young, a, she's a much better reporter than I am. She's tough as hell, and maybe a little bit cutthroat. Because you have to fight for the good stories in a market like that, and you maybe had to burn a couple of sources on your way to get to that big market. So it'd be fun to work with her if she's a newscaster, and we can do the news team thing, get a conch shell out here. But also very wary, so "Froe." Just like I'll have by the end of the game.

You've played with both new players and returnees. Do you feel like there's a distinctly different approach between the two groups?
Well, I learned so much from David Wright and a little bit from Kelley Wentworth, David being my teacher, and Kelley just observing. [Laughs.] I do know there's a huge advantage to playing once and coming back. And so I assume if you played twice, three, four times, that's an even bigger advantage. So I'm in kind of solidarity with these one-time players. Of course, I'm a huge fan of Cirie. But like, how much does one person need? Come on! Go beat the world, but not Season 50. [Laughs.] So I'm wary of folks that played a whole lot. That being said, if we vibe and again, big target next to me, that might all go out the window.
Which previous player do you wish were out here on the island with you right now?
I'm sure everyone says they wish they could name more than one, because I'd like Gavin and Brendan Shapiro. T-Bird, though, is the obvious choice to me. She should have been in Second Chance. She should be here now. I live with her in Georgia so I see her more often. But there's no one that does more for the Survivor community. And if you're a castaway, whether you out first, you won the game, you're a hero, you're a villain, fans love you, fans hate you. T-Bird will love you and embrace you and be there for you. And I wish she was here. I'm a little relieved, because I would never be able to vote her out. [Laughs.] But God, I wish she was here.
They say sometimes when a player returns, they take from the game of the person who won their original season. Obviously, Chris has an incredibly unique story for a winner. But is there anything you're taking from his Season 38 game into 50?
I'm hoping to be able to kind of leave the game from Day 3 'till the very end. Practice fire and fish, and just be lovely to everybody. No, Chris is a badass. Chris is actually a great player, and I did learn a lot from him. One of them, obviously, I practiced fire. Hope it's not there, but I practiced it.
But one of the real takeaways from Chris was I'm a guy who fills the silences. Whether I'm asking the question or you're asking the question, I fill that silence. And something he did that I didn't realize until afterwards is he just is comfortable in that silence, and lets you fill it and give him that information or feel uncomfortable and read you. And that's something I'm gonna try to concentrate on. I love Chris, so I would love to help rep our season with him as the winner of 50.
Do you feel like participating in "On Fire" gave you any new perspective on the game?
Really, no. I learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes stuff, and it was so cool. I mean, I learned a lot. But in terms of gameplay, I was the guy there to talk about gameplay. Jeff doesn't really get into all that. And what can I learn from myself? I didn't even put anything out there that great! I'm just trying to be funny. So I probably learned more listening to Dee and Charlie from "On Fire" than I learned from myself. Which is why they're scary!
Finally, what celebrity or fictional character would you bring out for a Loved Ones visit?
Oh my gosh, Mike, you have great questions. I would bring out Chet the dog from the Chet and Bernie Adventures to me. So he's just a great dog. He was a police dog that failed police school, so now he helps this private eye. But the idea is, I would just love to have a dog out here. I miss my puppies. [Laughs.] Or maybe Mike White would be a good one to bring out. Get that cameo in The White Lotus, prep for that. I don't know. I'll go with Chet the dog.
Well, you seem about as happy as a dog with a bone right now! Rick, you really are a man of second chances. You came back from the Edge of Extinction. This is your second season, and from what you're describing, you weren't even supposed to be on the season to begin with. And considering the cut you made in the game during your second run on Season 38, it seems like two is your lucky number!
I totally agree. And I gotta tell you, it's a little embarrassing being an alternate. Not really, but like, "Man, I wasn't their first choice." And that part of it puts a chip on my shoulder. I want to prove to them that it was crazy I was ever an alternate.
But at the same time, I was like, "You know what? I'm gonna be open about it." Because this season, I am trying to be more vulnerable. That's something I learned the first time. I'm very surface-level out here and in real life. But I didn't realize what a unique opportunity it was last time to do different things. And that's something I want to do this time, is be just a little bit more vulnerable, open myself up a little bit more when it's appropriate, not force it. So I was an alternate. They almost didn't want me. And everyone out there who feels like they were almost not one, let's go show them what we're made of, baby!
Fans Are Calling For A Romcom Between These Two ‘Bridgerton’ Siblings
The recent release of BridgertonSeason 4 Part 1 and the upcoming release of Season 4 Part 2 have fans talking about the highly popular Netflix show once again, and eyes have now turned to hopes that two Bridgerton siblings actors will eventually end up in a romcom movie of their own.
In a throwback post shared to Bustle's Instagram account, Bridgerton co-stars Luke Thompson and Claudia Jessie, who play siblings Benedict and Eloise, respectively, discuss Jessie "shipping" Benedict and Eloise, with Thompson saying, "You're obsessed with us, which is complicated considering we're playing brother and sister." In response, Jessie says, "Yeah, but we're not actually brother and sister. Don't worry about it."
View this post on InstagramEvidently, some Bridgerton fans agree with Jessie's opinion, as the comments include responses begging for a romcom between Thompson and Jessie. One comment reads, "Romcom with these twoooooooo nowwww," while another says, "I HAVE SAID IT SO MANY TIMES THAT THESE TWO HAVE IMMENSE CHEMISTRY ....THESE TWO TOGETHER IN SOME OTHER ROMCOM WOULD [BE] BANGER."
Clearly, there's interest in something more between Jessie and Thompson on screen, be it in a future romcom, or, evidently, within Bridgerton itself (another comment simply reads, "Beneloise forever" and has more than 400 likes). The latter is certainly not going to happen, but the former feels like more of a possibility.
The real question is whether audiences would be willing to see Jessie and Thompson in a separate romantic role together, given that they have now played siblings for years in one of Netflix's most popular shows—in addition to whether Thompson and Jessie would actually be on board.
However, Thompson and Jessie would be far from the first actors to go from on-screen family members to on-screen lovers. In fact, in the very same release year, actors Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort went from playing siblings in Divergent to playing lovers in The Fault in Our Stars, as just one example.
Whether Thompson and Jessie could or would do the same remains to be seen, but there would be at least a few very happy Bridgerton fans should the two eventually play opposite each other in a romcom.

There is now a reward offered for anyone who shares a tip that leads to the arrest to the person or persons behind Nancy's disappearance, according to 88-Crime.
Nancy Guthrie has gone missing.88 Crime
"The Pima County Sheriff's Department is seeking the publics assistance with any information related to the disappearance of Mrs. Nancy Guthrie," reads the missing persons flyer. "She was last seen at her home near Skyline and Campbell around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026.Any video and photograph information is strongly requested for evaluation and analysis of evidentiary value."

The award being offered is $2500, which many feel is surprisingly low for such a high-profile case.
"$2500 reward? Geez I would offer a lot more than that just for my missing pet," one person commented on a Facebook post by NewsNation.
"You forget some zeros??" someone else said.
"$2500 to get a mama back is wild! i’d offer up more than that if my cat was missing," echoed a third Facebook user.
"Got to be more to this $2500 than meets the eye. The whole story is strange," a fourth comment read.
Some social media users believe that the reward amount may have been advised by authorities as to control the amount of false leads.
Nancy was last seen at her home in the Catalina Foothills of Arizona on Saturday, January 31. Authorities believe that Nancy may have been kidnapped from her home in the middle of the night.
Jason Bateman Under Fire for Grilling Pop Star About Kids
Jason Bateman put his foot in his mouth in the most spectacular way during a conversation with Charli XCX on the SmartLess podcast, which features the Horrible Bosses star alongside fellow actors Will Arnett and Sean Hayes.
After a conversation with the "360" singer about family planning that turned awkward fast, Charli XCX's fans are hitting back.
It all started innocently as Bateman brought up Charli's childhood, growing up as an only child. He said, "As an only child, you’re sort of protected, and you’re coddled, and you’re... it’s all about you."
After she opened up about growing up, Batement then asked, "Does that mean that you would love to have more than one kid?"
Then, he added, "Or would you like to have a kid that has the same sort of experience as you, where it’s the only child and then you get to just kind of nurture and protect?"
"I actually don’t really want to have kids," Charli quickly replied.
But Bateman didn't drop it, instead pushing with disbelief. "You don’t? Wait, why?" he pressed.
Charli then admitted she could change her mind at some point, telling Bateman, "I love, like, the fantasy of having a child, like naming it sounds so fun, but I’m like that is exactly a sign to me as to why I should not have one."
The conversation became even more awkward when Bateman suggested that Charli might change her mind about having kids because she "might find somebody" who would make her want to have them, prompting Charli to reply, "Well, I'm married..."
Charli XCX Fans Take Aim at Jason Bateman's QuestionsOn the podcast, Charli XCX was gracious despite the inappropriate line of questioning, but her fans didn't let Bateman off the hook.
On X, one listener posted a photo of the SmartLess podcast photo that appears while listening to it and wrote, "incredible rough listening experience at one point jason bateman asks her how many kids she wants to have (bad enough) and then she’s like 'i don’t think i want kids' and he’s like 'well maybe you just need to find the right guy' and she’s like 'i’m married' and then silence."

— merle (@rottenbrunette) February 2, 2026There were many responses to that post, including one person who wrote, "I have this idea in my head of Jason Bateman why would he ruin that for me and get a podcast."
Another defended the Arrested Developmentstar, writing, "the whole concept of their podcast is that one of them knows who the guest is and others don't. So Bateman, if he's not a fan of Charli, can't know if she's married or not."
A third brought up Bateman's friendship with Jennifer Aniston, suggesting he should have known better than to question Charli XCX about her future family plans.
"It's still incredibly condescending for a man to tell a woman the reason she doesn't want children is because she hasn't found the right man," another critic chimed in.
A First-of-Its-Kind Burger Concept Is Launching This Year
Wahlburgers, the casual dining burger chain owned by chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, actors Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, is taking its menu to some unexpected places this year: namely the parking lots of Home Depot stores.
The brand said it has already opened three Wahlburgers trailers outside select Home Depot locations in Rockledge, Stuart, and Vero Beach, Florida. These units serve popular menu items like the “Our Burger,” Smashburger, BBQ Road Burger, Crispy Chicken Ranch and breakfast offerings, plus house-made milkshakes, giving shoppers an easy place to grab a bite during errands.
This move represents an unusual crossover between quick casual dining and retail, aiming to meet customers “wherever they are,” according to CEO Randy Sharpe.

A Broader 2026 Expansion StrategyThe Home Depot partnership is just the beginning of Wahlburgers’ plans for 2026. The chain said additional Home Depot trailer locations are in the pipeline, alongside a new restaurant opening at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in Florida. Expansion will also include new outlets adjacent to Bass Pro Shops in Irvine, California and Sayreville, New Jersey this year.
Wahlburgers’ broader non-traditional growth isn’t limited to big-box parking lots. The brand has also been increasing its presence in airports and destination venues, a strategy that builds on past openings in terminals like Detroit Metropolitan Airport and other high-traffic locations.
This direction comes after a period of contraction for the company. As of 2025, Wahlburgers operated about 32 locations worldwide, down from a larger footprint a few years earlier. The Home Depot rollout and upcoming openings offer both convenience for customers and visibility for the brand, tapping into everyday routines like shopping and travel.

Why Melissa McCarthy's Outrageous Super Bowl Ad Impressed Her Teens
As Super Bowl LX approaches, excitement is growing, but not just to see the Seattle Seahawks play the New England Patriots. Just as many are most excited to see the performers, which include Green Day, Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile, Coco Jones, and Halftime Headliner Bad Bunny.
However, plenty more just want to see which unexpected, nostalgic, or controversial commercials will air this year. Some sneak peeks have already appeared online, such as Melissa McCarthy's e.l.f. Cosmetics commercial. The ad is set to air right before Bad Bunny's performance. Falling into the "unexpected" category, McCarthy was very excited to do the commercial, especially because her teenage daughters were actually impressed.
@elfyeahjuicy drama deserves juicy lips 💋 Melissa McCarthy is getting ready for the Big Show 🎶🐰 can Dr. Tito’s Glow Reviver Lip Oil save the day? 🩺 or will evil Nurse Zoraida steal the spotlight? find out on: Melisa ✨ tune in to the Big Game this Sunday, February 8 to watch our newest e.l.f.enovela unfold 👀 watch all the drama on @Peacock during the 3rd quarter 🏈
♬ original sound - e.l.f. Cosmetics"Both my daughters and myself, we all love e.l.f. and really, really are fans of the whole line, so it gave me a lot of street cred at the house," the Bridesmaids star told PEOPLE. "I think to my girls, this may be the most important thing I've ever done."
Her daughters, 15-year-old Vivian and 13-year-old Georgette, were hoping their mom's Super Bowl commercial would include Bad Bunny, though. McCarthy would love to meet him as well, calling him an artist who is "so talented" and has a "real sense of fun."
The e.l.f. telenovela-style commercial begins with McCarthy in her car listening to the radio, when she hears the announcement about Bad Bunny playing the Super Bowl. "But I don't speak Spanish!" she exclaimed, before getting in a car accident.
She wakes up in the hospital to find that the game is that night, while Dr. Tito, played by Nicholas Gonzalez, asks how her Spanish is. After she repeats a phrase that translates roughly to "Goodbye, I'm a bathroom," Dr. Tito puts e.l.f. lip oil on her lips to help her roll her R's. As he helps her practice her Spanish, the nurse, played by Itatí Cantoral, looks on in jealousy.
"It got funnier and more absurd [with each take]," McCarthy recalled. "It was not a very serious day of filming, so that's always a joy."
Beginning on Feb. 3, Duolingo is offering e.l.f.'s Beauty Squad loyalty members free two-week memberships, so anyone can improve their Spanish. McCarthy claims that she's been using Duolingo herself.
"I'm thinking of actually upping it a little, because in doing this, I was like, 'I should be much farther along in my Spanish,'" she revealed. "So it was like, 'Okay, let's buck up and be better at it,' because I would love to be better at it. I'm like, 'Oh, come on, girl. Get in the game.'"

Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Bill Stevenson Charged in Wife’s Murder
Bill Stevenson, ex-husband of former First Lady Jill Biden, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife Linda.
Linda was found unresponsive in the couple's Delaware home on Dec. 28 after police were called to the residence due to a reported "domestic dispute."
"Officers immediately administered life-saving measures; however, despite their efforts, Linda Stevenson was later pronounced deceased," a press release said at the time, noting that her body was found in the living room of the home.
Linda's exact cause of death is currently unknown.
According to the New Castle County Police Department via a press release, Bill was indicted on the murder charge and taken into custody without incident on Monday Feb. 2. He was arraigned and is currently being held in jail, in lieu of $500,000 bail.
Biden married Bill in 1970 when she was 18 years old and attending college, taking on the name Jill Stevenson. The pair eventually separated in 1974 before divorcing in 1975. They had no children together.
“I believed so much in the institution of marriage,” Biden said of her first marriage during a Harper's Bazaarinterview in 2022. “When the marriage fell apart, I fell hard because of that. And for him to turn out to be who he was …”
Biden's dog Commander interrupted her by barking before the former first lady could finish her sentence.
Following her divorce, Biden went on to marry former President Joe Biden in 1977 while he was serving as a U.S. Senator representing Delaware. The couple share daughter Ashley as well Biden's sons from a previous marriage: the late Beau and Hunter Biden.
Biden has not publicly commented on the case involving her ex-husband.
If You Want to Send Your Valentine a Cheese Bouquet, the Time Is Now
Roses are red, violets are blue, flowers are fine, but cheese is divine. Horrible attempts at poetry aside, if you're trying to find the perfect gift for your Valentine this year, you may want to start thinking outside the box, because your favorite brands certainly are. Hot on the heels of the Grillo's Pickle Bouquet, I present to you Wedges of Love—a cheese bouquet from the folks over at Wisconsin Cheese.
Yes, a bouquet that delivers an assortment of incredible cheeses for the foodie in your life. It's like a cheese board in bouquet form, and it will have your Valentine at hello. (Maybe great a nice bottle of wine, too.) But here's the thing, there's just one drop of these cheese bouquets left, and you need to order soon to get it by Feb. 14.
The Wedges of Love Cheese Bouquet originally went on sale Jan. 20, with limited drops on the Tuesdays that followed, all culminating in the final bouquet drop on Feb. 3. The bouquet retails for $100 and will arrive by Valentine's Day if, and only if, you order by Sunday, Feb. 8. (Yes, that's Super Bowl Sunday but you're going to have to set yourself a reminder that this is your V-Day cheese deadline.)
Courtesy Wisconsin Cheese
The bouquet includes not only an assortment of fromage but also four stainless steel knives, a personalized poem (likely better than my attempt above), and guidance on pairings and recipes.
How Many Cheeses Are Included in the Wedges of Love Bouquet?Nine—count 'em—nine different cheeses are included in the bouquet. Here's a bit about each one:
- Belaire (Hoard's Dairyman Farm Creamery): A Port Salut-style cheese that's mild and creamy.
- Cranberry Chipotle Cheddar (Carr Valley Cheese): Sharp cheddar with sweet cranberries and a hint of chipotle spice.
- Dunbarton Blue (Roelli Cheese Haus): A blue-infused farmhouse cheddar that's earthy and bold without being overpowering.
- Foenegreek (Marieke Gouda): A gouda with a sweet, nutty vibe and that unique fenugreek flavor that keeps you going back for another bite.
- Grand Cru Reserve (Roth Cheese): A well-aged, alpine-style cheese with rich depth and complexity.
- Pleasant Ridge Reserve (Uplands Cheese): Classic alpine-style goodness that's like a cross between Gruyere and Beaufort.
- SarVecchio (Sartori): A parmesan-style wedge that's fruity, nutty and great for grating or snacking.
- Tallgrass Reserve (Landmark Creamery): Cave-aged and buttery with a tang that's just lovely.
- The Carawaybou (Deer Creek Cheese): A classic Colby speckled with caraway seeds—familiar but with a little extra flair.
Get your cheese bouquet order in before the Feb. 3 drop sells out. Wisconsin Cheese will ship it overnight so that it arrives fresh and ready to go on Valentine's Day.
