‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Costars Show Up to Support Whitney Leavitt’s Broadway Debut

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 7:03pm

Whitney Leavitt has had quite the experience since branching out from the group that got her name out there. A main character from Hulu's Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, for its first two seasons, led to Leavitt being cast in not one, but two major breakout roles.

This fall, Leavitt starred on season 34 of ABC's Dancing With the Stars alongside professional dancer Mark Ballas. America was more than impressed with the Mormon mom's fancy footwork, as she danced her way into the semifinals of the show before her elimination.

Shortly after DWTS wrapped, Leavitt announced that she had another new venture planned. The social media star was cast as Roxie Hart in Broadway's hit musical, Chicago. After months of rehearsals, Leavitt took the stage on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Ambassador Theater in New York City, NY.

Surprised fans took note that all but one of her former MomTok friends and Mormon Wives castmates showed up to cheer her on.

In a recent TikTok, stars of the show can be seen arriving and excitedly taking their seats to witness Leavitt's debut. Despite their differences and disagreements, of which there have been many, Jen Affleck,Taylor Frankie Paul,Miranda McWhorter,Layla Taylor,Mayci Neeley,Jessi Ngatikaura, and Mikayla Matthews rallied to show their former co-star support on her big night. Fans immediately took to the comments to discuss who was and wasn't there.

"Shocked that Jen showed up 😭😭," one fan remarked. Another chimed in, "Honestly, diabolical of Jen to be there after telling people she wasn’t voting for Whitney on DWTS." referring to the ongoing feud between Leavitt and fellow DWTS contestant Affleck.

Others took note of one absent friend of the star, Demi Engemann. "Interesting how Demi is nowhere to be found," one commenter said. "I'm fascinated that everyone is friends again except Demi," echoed another, hinting at the continued estrangement amongst the group after a cheating scandal in Season 3.

Plenty of fans talked about the flip that these ladies have made after their tumultuous relationships with Leavitt has played out over the years. "Most of them hated her, mocked her, had her beg for their friendship… and now ohhhh we’re your number one fans. It’s sad, Whitney deserves genuine love and friendship," one fan pointed out.

Regardless of who was or wasn't there, Leavitt appears to have "nailed it," on her first night on stage, according to 4.4 million viewers on TikTok:

Legendary Folk Rocker, 84, Announces 2026 Tour 8 Years After 'Retirement'

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 7:00pm

While fans were devastated when Paul Simon announced his retirement in 2018, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer didn't stop touring after all. He hit the road again in 2025 with his "A Quiet Celebration" tour...and he just announced the celebration is continuing this summer.

According to an Instagram post on Simon's official account, the iconic musician is launching a 20-date tour of North America which will kick off on June 4, 2026 in Palo Alto, California, and go on to make stops in cities including Los Angeles, Toronto, Philadelphia and Atlanta before wrapping up on July 18 in Highland Park, Illinois.

As Consequence reported, the shows on Simon's upcoming jaunt will be divided into two parts, with the first set featuring his latest album Seven Psalms, and the second focusing on hits and favorites from his lengthy career.

View this post on Instagram

Commenters on the tour announcement post were thrilled to hear the news.

"Of all the musicians I’ve ever photographed and all of the concerts I’ve ever been to, Paul Simon has been the one I’ve dreamed of seeing," wrote one California-based fan, adding, "I can’t believe you’re coming to our beautiful San Diego venue. I pray for a healthy tour for your crew, great San Diego weather and a peaceful experience for everyone."

"Beautiful man that helped shape rock n roll," declared someone else, as another fan begged, "Please come to Phoenix!"

Why did Paul Simon retire?

While Simon has struggled with hearing loss in recent years, when he announced his "retirement" in 2018, he cited a desire to spend more time with his family as a primary reason.

“I feel the travel and time away from my wife and family takes a toll that detracts from the joy of playing," he said in a statement at the time, per The Independent.

"I’d like to leave with a big thank you to the many folks around the world who’ve come out to watch me play over the last 50 years," he continued. "After this coming tour, I anticipate doing the occasional performance in a (hopefully) acoustically pristine hall, and to donate those earnings to various philanthropic organizations, particularly those whose objective is to save the planet, ecologically...I am very grateful for a fulfilling career and, of course, most of all to the audiences who heard something in my music that touched their hearts.”

Thankfully, audiences will get another chance to hear that music live again this summer. Tickets for Simon's 2026 tour go on sale Friday, Feb. 6.

Jordon Hudson Mocks Hall of Fame After Cancelling Her Patch Order Following Bill Belichick Snub

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 6:45pm

Jordon Hudson isn’t letting a quiet email slide—especially not after a headline-making Hall of Fame decision involving her boyfriendBill Belichick.

A week after Belichick, 73, was passed over in his first year of eligibility for induction, Hudson, 24, took to Instagram to share a screenshot showing her order for three Hall of Fame patches had been abruptly canceled. The message from the company read, “your order has been canceled. Order #[redacted] was canceled because of unforeseen circumstances and your payment has not yet been refunded.”

Hudson paired the screenshot with a pointed caption: “Hey @profootballhof, what were the ‘unforeseen circumstances’? 🤣”

The timing raised eyebrows. Belichick—whose résumé includes six Super Bowl titles and nearly a quarter-century leading the New England Patriots—was not elected to the Hall of Fame class of 2026 despite being the lone finalist in the coaching category. According to ESPN, the 73-year-old failed to reach the required 40 of 50 votes.

View this post on Instagram

Around the league, the decision landed with surprise. Belichick has been named NFL Coach of the Year three times, earned spots on the NFL’s All-Decade Teams for both the 2000s and 2010s, and was included on the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Team—where every other coach has already been inducted.

The snub prompted reactions from those closest to his legacy. Tom Bradyvoiced disbelief on Seattle Sports 710-AM, saying, “I don’t understand it,” before adding, “If he’s not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there’s really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.” Brady went on to emphasize that there’s “no coach I’d rather play for.”

Patriots owner Robert Kraft echoed Brady in a statement to the Associated Press, saying, “Whatever perceptions may exist about any personal differences between Bill and me, I strongly believe Bill Belichick’s record and body of work speak for themselves.”

As for Hudson’s canceled order, the Hall of Fame hasn’t publicly addressed the “unforeseen circumstances,” but they did issue a response to fans regarding the ceremony. While it did not name Belichick directly, the organization “understands and respects the passionate reaction of many fans, media members and enshrinees of the Hall itself in light of published reports regarding the voting results for the Class of 2026.”

Shaboozey Offers Clarification on Grammys Acceptance Speech

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 6:22pm

Shaboozey has spoken out in regards to the growing controversy surrounding his Grammys acceptance speech this past Sunday.

The country artist won his first Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his song "Amen" featuring Jelly Roll. When he took the stage to accept his award, Shaboozey — like many other artists in attendance — took the opportunity to speak out in support of immigrants in the United States.

"Immigrants built this country, literally," Shaboozey said on Sunday night. "So this is for them — for all children of immigrants. This is also for those who came to this country in search of better opportunity, to be part of a nation that promised freedom for all and equal opportunity to everyone willing to work for it. Thank you for bringing your culture, your music, your stories and your traditions here. You give America color."

But his tearful acceptance speech was soon followed by a wave of backlash online from social media users accusing Shaboozey of ignoring the impact that Black people and enslaved Africans had on the United States' foundation. Many expressed their disappointment online through the form of X posts, comments and TikToks.

One YouTube commenter wrote, "African Americans are the bottom of everything. We literally died and suffered through the most violent form of slavery ever recorded to build America for free then fought for all POC to have the same rights only for our history to be forgotton (sic) and disrespected."

After a few days of online debate, Shaboozey finally took to social media on Tuesday to address the backlash he had been receiving and offer some clarification behind the intention of his speech.

"To be clear, I know and believe that we — Black people, have also built this country," Shaboozey wrote. "My words were never intended to dismiss that truth. I am both a Black man and the son of Nigerian immigrants and in the overwhelming moment of winning my first Grammy my focus was on honoring the sacrifices my parents made by coming to this country to give me and my siblings opportunities they never had."

A letter from me 🖤 pic.twitter.com/DgcOavMHjx

— Shaboozey (@ShaboozeysJeans) February 3, 2026

Shaboozey also went on to emphasize the significance of being the first Black man to win the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance on the first day of Black History Month, stating that the historical win "stands on the foundation laid by generations of Black people who fought, sacrificed and succeeded long before me."

Social media users both expressed their gratitude to Shaboozey for listening to their concerns and for clearly addressing his intention behind his speech, as well as continued to stand firm on why it's important to fully acknowledge the role that Africans and Black people have had on America.

"I love this. Shaboozey is just keeping it real he’s proud of his roots and also celebrating his parents’ sacrifices. Big respect!" wrote one user.

"Big moment, big emotions. Respect to him for clarifying and standing in both his Black and immigrant identity," wrote another user.

The East Coast Way To Make Chicken Pasta 10x Better

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 6:22pm

Growing up in Philadelphia—a city of pizza, slow-simmered red sauces, rib-eye cheese steaks and salted, soft pretzels—you learn to carry yourself with a certain culinary swagger. But just when I thought I'd experienced every possible iteration of comfort food, I recently discovered a dish from a tucked-away corner of central New York, the enclave of Utica, that proved I still had plenty to learn. A pasta secret so transformative it makes your standard spaghetti and meatballs feel like an unfinished thought—the dish I’m talking about is, of course, chicken riggies.

I'll admit that, despite my East Coast roots, chicken riggies weren't on my radar until a recent headline caught my attention. When Philadelphia Magazine spotlighted Corio, a relatively new West Philly restaurant serving chicken riggies (and framed it like a culinary discovery), it was clear something had shifted. If local restaurant critics were embracing a regional outlier in the heart of "red sauce" territory, I had to see what the fuss was about.

What I found was a masterpiece born four hours north of Manhattan. While Philadelphia perfected the hoagie and the roast pork sandwich, this Italian-American spot in New York quietly guarded chicken riggies, a dish that cranks the classic formula of pasta and sauce up to eleven. Picture tender rigatoni pasta tossed in a creamy sauce and dotted with sweet peppers and just the right notes of heat. It is the ultimate East Coast upgrade, trading subtlety for an unapologetic balance of texture and heat.

To truly understand what makes chicken riggies so special, I turned to the chef at Corio, David Feola. For Feola, who grew up in nearby Rome, NY, a proper Utica-style sauce isn't defined by the ingredients, but by the patience of the process. "The secret, for me, is the time it takes to build the base of the sauce before the dish," he tells Parade. "It’s what makes the sauce itself different from a basic red or marinara sauce."

Not only did I get plenty of insight into the dish thanks to Chef Feola, but I also followed his recipe to get the full chicken riggies experience at home. Read on to learn more about the history of chicken riggies, how to make the dish yourself and my full recipe review.

What Are Chicken Riggies?

Courtesy Theresa Greco

At their core, chicken riggies are what happens when a “red sauce” finds its edge. Emerging from the home kitchens of the Mohawk Valley, the dish pairs bite-size pieces of chicken with sweet roasted bell peppers and, most importantly, sharp pickled cherry peppers. Everything is tossed with rigatoni in a cream-enriched marinara that delivers richness and heat.

The soul of this dish, and the reason it stands apart from anything I grew up eating in Philadelphia, is that vinegary punch. While most classic pastas rely on dried red pepper flakes for heat, riggies leans into the bright tang of jarred cherry peppers. The ingredient provides a sharp, acidic lightning bolt that cuts through the cream.

Chef Feola confirms that this tanginess is the primary gear-shift for the dish. "The sauce itself isn’t far from a vodka sauce, except instead of adding vodka, we use cherry peppers for a different finish," he explains, comparing the variation to how a Hollandaise becomes a sauce Choron (a Béarnaise sauce with tomato purée). "Both vodka and the riggies’ sauce are based off the mother sauce, but we just take it to a different place," he explains.

This distinction addresses what some see as the biggest flaw in most chicken-and-pasta dishes: monotony. While a standard cream sauce can feel static, Feola explains that the acidity gives the sauce some verve. "Where vodka sauce is amazingly creamy and smooth, it is slightly one-note," he says. "The addition of cherry peppers adds hits of brine and heat as you eat the dish. Like a heart monitor, vodka sauce would ultimately be a flat line, but having the hits of heat and brine of cherry peppers results in spikes and dips."

Ultimately, chicken riggies is all about building deep, layered flavors and taking familiar staples and pushing them just far enough to feel new. As Feola puts it, “This is Italian-American food. It was created here, not in Italy.” To him, chicken riggies is a natural extension of the local landscape that “belongs on a menu right next to chicken parm or mussels red.”

Why Is It Called Chicken Riggies?

In the linguistic tradition of the Northeast, brevity is king, and "riggies" is simply the affectionate shorthand for the pasta shape that defines the dish: rigatoni. It’s the same slang that turns mozzarella into “mutz” or capicola into “gabagool”—it's a name clipped, familiar and rooted in everyday use.

And the choice of pasta isn't accidental. The large, hollow tubes and ridged exterior are designed to capture the heavy, cream-based sauce and the small bites of peppers and chicken. While you might find variations that use other pasta shapes, to a Utica native, if it isn't a rigatoni, it simply isn't "riggie." It’s a perfect example of why certain pasta shapes are non-negotiable for specific sauces. The name reflects the dish's blue-collar and communal roots, a meal designed to be shared, debated and (most importantly) devoured.

Ingredients Needed To Make Chicken Riggies

Courtesy Theresa Greco

As with any beloved regional staple, the recipe for chicken riggies takes many forms depending on whose kitchen you’re standing in. You will find spirited debates over the secondary ingredients that round out the dish. Some chefs prefer the smoky, silky sweetness of roasted red peppers over the crunch of fresh bell peppers, while others lean into a more Mediterranean profile.

Chef Feola views variety as the soul of the dish. "For me, chicken riggies is the inclusion of all the ingredients, the mushrooms, the black olives, the sweet and cherry peppers," he says. "Each ingredient plays a part in making it a more exciting dining experience. The mushrooms add earthiness and umami, olives add brightness from brine and the peppers add heat. When you finish it with heavy cream and butter, you hit every tasting note—sometimes in just one or two bites."

While the "everything-in" approach creates that complex, high-energy flavor profile (and sounds amazing), I decided to stick with the essential trio my first time around: chicken, rigatoni and jarred peppers. Keeping the ingredient list as tight as possible, I headed into the kitchen to give it a go.

Here's exactly what you need to make Chef Feola's version of the dish, based on the recipe he shared with Parade. The ingredient amounts listed below reflect a recipe that yields 6 to 8 servings, depending on your eaters and what else you're serving.

  • ⅓ cup julienned cherry peppers
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 head peeled garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 (28-oz) can crushed San Marzano tomatoes
  • 4 to 5 chicken thighs
  • 1 lb rigatoni
  • ½ cup quartered mushrooms, optional
  • ¼ cup chicken stock or white wine, optional
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives, optional
  • ¼ cup roasted red peppers, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan or Pecorino, plus more to finish
  • 5 basil leaves, chopped

How To Make Chicken Riggies

Making chicken riggies is a labor of love, but the results are worth every step. The process begins at the foundation: dicing onions and hand-chopping garlic and peppers into long, uniform strips.

Pro Tip: Be sure to remove the seeds from the cherry peppers before cutting them. The brine provides the tangy flavor, but the seeds carry all the heat and can make the final dish spicier than anticipated.

Courtesy Theresa Greco

Next, sauté the diced onion and garlic in just enough extra virgin olive oil to coat the bottom of a pot. (And prepare your senses as the kitchen is about to smell incredible.)

Courtesy Theresa Greco

Cook until the onions are translucent and tender, then blend them together with an immersion blender or a food processor into a silky base.

Courtesy Theresa Greco

Meanwhile, open the can of tomatoes and blend them the same way (using an immersion blender or food processor). Combine the blended tomatoes with the blended onion-garlic mixture, and return everything to the pan.

Raise the heat to bring the sauce to a boil, then lower the heat so the sauce is at a simmer. This is where the patience comes in. You aren't just heating the sauce—you're letting it slowly reduce, watching the color deepen into a rich, concentrated red that the perfect canvas for the rest of the dish.

According to Feola, this reduction is what dictates the final texture of the riggies. "Taking the time to reduce the tomatoes into a tight sauce allows us to thin it out with heavy cream and butter, yet still have a very tight sauce that holds up to our extruded rigatoni," he explains.

Next, prepare the chicken. Season the chicken thighs with salt and freshly-ground black pepper, then sear them over high heat until both sides are golden brown.

Courtesy Theresa Greco

Finish cooking the chicken in a 375°F oven for 8—12 minutes, then allow it to cool before cutting it into generous one-inch cubes.

Courtesy Theresa Greco

If including mushrooms, heat olive oil in a sauté pan and sear until deeply browned. Deglaze the pan with a splash of chicken stock or white wine, scraping up the flavorful bits from the bottom, and reduce the liquid by half.

Stir this concentrated liquid into the tomato sauce along with the cubed chicken, olives (if using), and both the sweet and hot peppers. Note: If you opt to skip the mushrooms, you can bypass the deglazing step entirely; the absence of that extra liquid won't negatively impact the final consistency of your sauce.

Meanwhile, cook the rigatoni in salted water until al dente.

Pro Tip: Before you drain your rigatoni, reserve ½ cup of the starchy pasta water. If your sauce thickens too much while you’re tossing everything together, a splash of this "liquid gold" will loosen it up and help the cream and cheese emulsify into a perfectly silky coating that clings to every ridge of the riggies.

Just as the pasta hits al dente, finish up the tomato sauce base by adding in butter and heavy cream.

Courtesy Theresa Greco

Allow the butter to melt and the flavors to fully marry. Reduce the heat and toss in the pasta, ensuring every ridge is coated in that silky sauce. Serve in warmed bowls with some fresh basil, the chicken and a final, generous flourish of cheese. In this instance, I opted for grated Pecorino Romano over Parmigiano-Reggiano for its sharp, salty bite, but either will work beautifully.

Chicken Riggies: My Honest Thoughts

Courtesy Theresa Greco

When it comes to regional classics, I tend to approach them with a healthy dose of skepticism, especially when they carry the kind of cult-like status that chicken riggies does in New York state. And, after putting this dish to the test, I have some thoughts.

In most cases, rigatoni is rarely my first choice when it comes to pasta shape. I often find them a bit cumbersome and even a bit too thick. But in this specific dish, rigatoni is the perfect choice. You truly need a sturdy, wide-ridged pasta to stand up to the hearty chunks of chicken and peppers. A more delicate pasta shape would have been absolutely overwhelmed, vanishing entirely under the weight of the sauce. Instead, the rigatoni acted as a structural anchor; its hollow center captured the "good stuff," while the spicy, creamy sauce clung perfectly to every ridge.

As for the dish as a whole, I’ll be honest: When I served this to a group of friends, I was my own toughest critic. While the group seemed to love it, clearing their plates in record time, I found myself wishing for just a bit more tang. A splash more of vinegar from the cherry peppers at the end might have provided that high-note contrast I was looking for.

However, the pure satisfaction of the dish was undeniable. It’s the ultimate triple threat in that it's creamy, hearty and deeply comforting. I can easily see this becoming a staple in my repertoire and a reliable back-pocket recipe for feeding and impressing a crowd.

New Joe Keery/Djo Concert Date Announced For Summer 2026

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 6:21pm

Actor and singer Joe Keery, who is known for playing the beloved Stranger Thingscharacter Steve Harrington in addition to his music career under the stage name Djo, will officially be playing a show alongside Lorde ahead of the main Bristol Forwards Festival this August.

The Bristol Forwards Festival will take place from August 29th to August 30th this year, and the day before the festival kicks off, on August 28th, Lorde and Djo will headline a one-off show, called Forwards Presents Lorde. Other artists performing for this show include Audrey Hobert, Rose Gray, Esha Tewari and Grove.

View this post on Instagram

The newly announced show is not yet listed on the official Djo website, although that might be because tickets have not yet gone on sale; presale tickets will become available on Thursday, February 5th, and the general sale will begin the next day. However, Keery did share the Forwards Presents Lorde announcement post to his Instagram story on his official account, djotime.

This news comes after Djo received a record amount of attention and streams coinciding with the Stranger Things finale. In fact, in December 2025, when the show's final four episodes were released, the viral Djo song "End of Beginning" hit the top 10 of Spotify’s Global Top 50, and it currently holds the number one spot on that list.

While that song has proven to be the most viral thus far, several other Djo songs have also been circulating heavily online, particularly on social media platforms like TikTok. "Basic Being Basic" and "Charlie's Garden" are among the most popular.

Those wishing to purchase presale tickets for the upcoming August 28th show with Djo, Lorde and other artists can sign up through the Forwards Presents Lorde website. The lineup for the main Bristol Forwards Festival has not yet been confirmed, although the announcement post for Lorde and Djo's show indicates that those names will be revealed in the coming months.

"Narcissism" is a word that has crept into our culture, with more and more people realizing that their partner, friend or loved one is actually a narcissist. As Dr. Peter Panagakis, PsyD—clinical psychologist and Regional Psychotherapy Director for Mindpath Health—defines it, narcissism is the type of personality in which a person is extremely preoccupied with themselves, often at the expense of others.

“Hallmarks of narcissism include a grandiose sense of self-importance, lack of empathy and manipulative or exploitative behavior in relationships,” he tells Parade

Dr. Sarah Lyall-Neal, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist at Cleveland Clinic, adds that narcissists generally require high levels of attention and validation, and likely don’t respond well to any kind of criticism

She also says that narcissists put themselves first in most situations, even to the detriment of their own family members (including their children).

Perhaps these very circumstances ring an all-too-familiar bell for you, something that harkens back to your own childhood. Parents aren’t perfect, as we all know, but at times, mistakes related to having narcissistic parents can actually lead to unresolved trauma when children grow into adults.

As the American Psychiatric Association reported in 2024, an estimated 1 to 2 percent of the U.S. population has narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Although that’s not a huge percentage of people, those in that number who are parents can leave a lasting impact on their children. And that doesn't even cover people with narcissistic personality traits, not NPD.

If you have a hunch that one or both of your parents is a narcissist, read on for the signs, nine things that children of narcissistic parents often struggle with as adults and discover how to finally heal.

How To Identify a Narcissistic Parent

Dr. Panagakis says that signs of a narcissistic parent may include:

  • struggling to understand or care about their children’s feelings
  • using guilt, shame and emotional blackmail tactics to control their children
  • redirecting conversations to put the focus on themself (the parent)
  • creating unreasonable expectations of their children because their child’s achievement becomes an extension of themselves (the parent)
  • demonstrating favoritism toward one child and inciting sibling rivalry

Dr.  Lyall-Neal says that narcissistic parents may also engage in role-reversal with their children.

“They may treat the child like the adult, relying on them for emotional support and praise,” she explains.

9 Things Children of Narcissistic Parents Often Struggle With as Adults, According to Psychologists

1. Anxiety

Dr. Panagakis says that oftentimes, adults who were parented by narcissists experience anxiety as they try to predict and prevent potential problems. This can lead to hypervigilance, avoidant behavior, social withdrawal, suppression of emotions or substance use issues.

2. Feeling guilty for prioritizing needs

These adults may feel guilty anytime they prioritize their needs, or even the needs of their own families.

“An example might be flying to another state to attend a family gathering, even though this will lead to financial hardship,” Dr. Lyall-Neal says. “The need to please the narcissistic parent overpowers the need to save money to cover needed expenses at home.”

This could result in things like credit card debt and finance-related arguments with their spouse. The adult child may feel caught between the needs of their narcissistic parent and the needs of their own family, “often leading to feelings of dissonance,” she explains.

3. People-pleasing

Dr. Lyall-Neal says that in her practice, she’s witnessed that children of narcissistic parents often engage in people-pleasing as a trauma response.

These individuals may suppress feelings based on how their narcissistic parent expressed themselves. These parents may have believed “that your needs and wishes are less important,” Dr. Panagakis says.

“For instance, they might sacrifice their own boundaries to care for the needs of another person because to not have done so in the past could have led to physical or emotional abuse,” Dr. Lyall-Neal observes.

Dr. Panagakis goes on to say that people-pleasing is done to avoid possible conflict, emotional harm and rejection

4. Fear of failure

A fear of failure can characterize those who were raised by narcissistic parents.

“They might not take on new tasks or projects due to lack of confidence in their competency, likely due to not receiving praise or encouragement or, alternatively, receiving negative feedback when trying new or novel tasks as children,” Dr. Lyall-Neal says.

5. Poor interpersonal boundaries

You may struggle with identifying personal limits and enforcing them. “Or, conversely, have rigid boundaries,” Dr. Panagakis adds.

A lack of boundaries or an overabundance of boundaries can create “significant impediment within relationships, leading to an array of problems such as sexual promiscuity, infidelity, divorce, a lack of genuine friendships or loneliness,” he explains.

6. Self-doubt

Overwhelming self-doubt is a common trait among those with narcissistic parents.

“They might look to others to help make decisions on things as small as where to eat and as large as buying a new house or car,” Dr. Lyall-Neal states. “This could result in lost autonomy, wherein the person relies on others to make major life decisions and experiences stress when forced to make important decisions on their own.”

7. Perfectionistic tendencies

Are you a perfectionist? This may be a result of narcissistic parenting. You may have engaged in “desperate attempts to gain parental approval due to the belief that success equates to worthiness, love and recognition,” and “this can lead to control issues and anxiety,” Dr. Panagakis shares.

8. Struggling with the idea of unconditional love

According to Dr. Lyall-Neal, you may not be able to grasp the concept of unconditional love

“As a child of a narcissistic parent, they were never exposed to love that wasn’t tit for tat,” she says. “They had to behave a certain way or do certain things to receive praise or love.”

When you’re an adult, you might find yourself trying to seek out motives in the kindness of others, friends or romantic partners. She adds that this could lead to conflict in friendships and relationships, “as others fail to realize the reasons behind the person’s constant mistrust.”

9. Health issues

Narcissistic parenting can even lead to health issues in adults. As Dr. Panagakis says, the chronic stress you’ve had in your life can produce adverse effects on your physical health in adulthood, such as chronic pain, sleep disturbances, digestive issues or cardiovascular problems

How To Heal From Growing up With Narcissistic Parents

Dr. Lyall-Neal’s first recommendation is to “find a good therapist to help with uncovering the narcissistic traits” that are specific to your situation.

“When a person has grown up in the home of a narcissistic parent, the behaviors they experienced are their normal, and they will need help teasing out normal behaviors from abusive behaviors,” she explains.

Over time, through therapy, you may begin to build trust in your own judgement, and this can eventually help you set healthy boundaries

“It’s important to note that recovery will involve working through shame and guilt, and is not a linear process,” she states. “These adult children will need to learn how to have compassion for themselves as they heal. For some children of narcissistic parents, this process will help them discover their true self-worth for the first time, and that can be very powerful.”

“Healing from a narcissistic parent takes time and effort,” Dr. Panagakis concludes. “It may not seem easy, but it’s possible to find a healthy relationship with yourself and others.”

Brian Boitano Reveals the Reality Show He'd Compete On and the Song Liza Minnelli Once Serenaded Him With (Exclusive)

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 5:30pm

Brian Boitano has no plans of gliding across the ballroom floor on Dancing with the Stars, but he'd be game for The Amazing Race.

"That would be fun," the former figure skater told Parade in an exclusive interview. "But I wouldn't want to eat gross things. I'm not really scared of stuff... I don't know how long it goes for, two weeks or whatever? It sounds like it's really stressful."

While Dancing with the Stars is a "no" for Boitano, Kristi Yamaguchi has tried to get the fellow Olympian on the reality dance competition, which she won in Season 6. "I just don't think that I would be as good of a dancer as people expected me to be," Boitano admitted. "And they'd be like, 'What the heck is wrong with him? He's an ice skater. It's like he should be able to dance.' I'm like, 'No, I don't think that they go hand in hand.'"

But, if he had "to choose any show to do, it would probably be The Amazing Race." Although Boitano remarked that he doesn't think he could handle the pressure of the reality show, he is no stranger to high-intensity pressure, having competed in three Olympic Winter Games: Sarajevo 1984, Calgary 1988 and Lillehammer 1994.

For young competitors heading to the Olympics, Boitano would tell them, "You imagine what the pressure is going to be like when you're standing center ice and you're waiting for your music to start. Well, it's not that. It's four or five times that amount of pressure, and it surprises you. It takes you by surprise because you gear up your whole life."

"Going for a gold medal, or a medal at the Olympics is going to be the highest pressure with everyone watching, it's your moment," he added. "You only have four minutes to do this, and you expect what the pressure is going to be like. It's four fold. And that's what a lot of people don't really realize, and it takes them by surprise. And sometimes it can go in a positive direction and sometimes it can go in a negative direction."

The three-time Olympian won a gold medal at the 1988 Games with a routine that unfolded exactly how he had visualized it. "It never goes away, the surprise and the feeling of accomplishment," he said of winning an Olympic gold medal.

Boitano will be in Italy for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which officially kick off on Feb. 6. He and USA TODAY Sports columnist Christine Brennan launched their podcast Milan Magic, following Team USA athletes through the Games, just last month.

View this post on Instagram

Reflecting on his days as a competitor, Boitano shared, "What I miss most about skating in the Olympics is that feeling when you have finished and you have skated really well and there's no feeling that compares with it. It's like such a sense of accomplishment. And that's like too light of a word to explain it. But the feeling of, like when you have just laid it all out there, all your training has come to fruition."

"All your mental training has helped you through it with all the pressure and to just stand there in the center of the ice and just know that you did the best that you could. It's like a feeling that is inexplicable," he continued.

Because staying focused is so important, Boitano is happy social media wasn't around during his competitive years. "If I were a coach or [if] I were mentoring a skater, I would be like have your social manager take care of everything for months going in. They can comment, post, whatever, just don't look at what people say because I think that every bit of focus needs to be on the job at hand," he said. "Whatever takes you away from that focus and that job at hand is going to be distracting and could be dangerous for your performance because you just have to be so laser-focused."

Though, had there been social media back then, there is one particular moment that Boitano thinks would have gone viral during the 1988 Games: the audience chanting "Boitano" and "Orser," for his rival Brian Orser. He recalled, "The funny thing is that as I was tying my skates and that chant started, I realized that it was my brother who started that chant."

He added with a laugh, "And I thought, for that moment, I'm like 'I am going to kill my brother.'"

As a competitor, Boitano always found it "fascinating" when someone would enter the Olympic Village and leave a different person. He said, "It's like literally in one day, like you go in and then come out and your life has changed forever in that literally small span of time."

Boitano himself went on to become a household name, and part of pop culture, inspiring the South Park song "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" He even once had Liza Minnelli serenade him.

"It was right after the Olympics and I was being inducted into the Italian American Hall of Fame, and, it was on my birthday, it was my 25th birthday, and also being inducted that day was Liza Minnelli, and we were being held in the green room," Boitano remembered. "She actually came over to me and she's like, 'Oh my gosh' and she's like, 'I always wanted to be an ice skater.' So I didn't know that Liza Minnelli wanted to be an ice skater."

Boitano described the actress as "probably the nicest celebrity" he's ever met, and that night, she sang "Happy Birthday" to him.

"Liza Minnelli is like 'It's Brian's birthday. Let's sing him happy birthday,' so Liza Minnelli sang me 'Happy Birthday' on my 25th birthday," Boitano recounted, calling the moment "really cool."

Britney Spears’ Money Moves Are Raising Eyebrows

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 5:27pm

The cost of freedom is apparently really expensive.

According to reports, Britney Spears is staring down a hefty six-figure tax bill.

“Britney Spears’ tax deficiency and penalty totaling about $721,000 is proper, the IRS told the US Tax Court as it defended its adjustment of flow-through income from her business and a disallowance of certain deductions in 2021,” Bloomberg reported.

The “Baby One More Time” singer challenged the determination in December 2025, claiming tax deficiencies she said resulted from erroneous adjustment of flow-through income from her business, Shiloh Standing Inc.

In May 2025, Radar Online reported that the singer was “facing a cash crisis,” claiming she was plowing through the massive fortune she amassed largely in the late ’90s and 2000s as the princess of pop. Over the weeks and months since, details concerning just how critical her situation is have come to light.

”People around Britney are seriously alarmed because this isn't just about one tax bill or a bad month," an insider told Radar in a story published last week. "The money has been flying out the door for a long time and it's finally catching up with her.”

Per the outlet, Spears has been enjoying the finer things in life: luxury vacations, private planes, paying for her entire entourage to come with. Splurging that when multiplied by conservatorship, divorce, and other court fees might just dwarf her net worth.

In November 2021, the “Overprotected” singer was released from the conservatorship that had controlled her person, finances, and estate ever since 2008. The final ruling from Judge Brenda Penny returned full control of Spears’ estimated $60 million fortune back to her.

Here’s hoping the Glory star can get her arms around this money situation. We’re cheering for you, Brit.

Lisa Rinna Reveals She Spanked Rob Rausch on 'The Traitors: 'I Had to Scold Him' (Exclusive)

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 5:19pm

The Traitors Season 4 has arrived! Throughout the season, Mike Bloom will speak with someone from the star-studded cast who was murdered or banished on the iconic Peacock reality series.

When Lisa Rinna was tapped on the shoulder the first day of The Traitors Season 4, she, arguably, hoped to play the game like the brooch she would wear on one of her final days. Given her roots in soap operas, as well as her reputation as a Bravo icon, any performative or over-the-top behaviors she had would be seen as trademark "Lisa F—king Rinna," hoping to allow her mischievous deeds to slip under the radar. And, with a fellow Housewife in Candiace Dillard Bassett in the Turret, as well as the low-key Rob Rausch, it was a traitorous combination more delicious than a bowl of M&Ms.

Unfortunately, the long journey of side-eye towards Lisa began all the way back at the first vote of the season. After seeing Ron Funches turn the group onto Porsha Williams, she tried to blend in with the crowd, choosing to vote with the majority against her. But the action of voting for another Housewife was enough to cause plenty of suspicion. While there were bigger distractions taking attention away from Lisa at the Round Table, she utilized the Traitors' murders to get rid of people like Caroline Stanbury and Monét X Change, kills she feel would throw people off of the scent. But there was one bloodhound in that castle who was bound to stick to the smell: Colton Underwood.

The former Bachelor was picking up how quiet Lisa has been, despite the more outgoing personality she's known for. Despite Rob tipping her off about Colton's suspicions, their power to murder had been nullified for the night. And so Colton spent the entire next day painting a target on Lisa, rallying the votes to his side yet again. He even did one of the most brazen things in Traitors history, essentially offering to protect her from the Round Table if she protected him from the turret. Of course, Lisa blanched at the insinuation, taking that denial all the way into the next vote. When Colton said she was acting "sheepishly" at the Round Table, Lisa came back with the ferocity of a wolf, saying, "I'm not gonna dance on the table. I don't need to break a wine glass." She might have had the anger to do so, though, after the votes came in. Ron was sent out by a vote of 6-5-4. But Lisa was one vote short of being banished, and one of the ones she had received came from none other than Rob himself.

Lisa was left fuming from that day's events, livid at Rob for voting against her. But that all had to be put by the wayside posthaste, as she was tasked with the most recent "murder in plain sight." Traipsing around the extravagant banquet, she chose to target Yam Yam Arocho, feeling like his death would be least connected to her. She had no idea how wrong she would be. When Alan Cumming announced publicly that Yam Yam was murdered, the Survivor winner cried out to anyone who could hear, "Lisa kissed me!" In the mother of all ironies, Lisa was the prime murder suspect — but with a completely different weapon. She tried to do damage control the next day, attempting to turn a Natalie Anderson faux pas into a Freudian slip. But the die had already been cast, and it was Rob who was throwing it. At the Round Table, he helped put the nail in Lisa's coffin, finally sending her out, and fracturing the Traitors as a result.

Now out of the game, Lisa talks with Parade about her reaction to Rob's betrayal (and the rumors she spanked him), her relationship with Colton, and why she made the initial Porsha vote to not get on the bad side of the Swifties.

Related: Everything to Know About The Traitors Season 4

Your reputation obviously precedes itself, as we'll get into. So I'm curious, had you been asked to do The Traitors before? And what made you decide to say yes?
No, this was the first time. I didn't want to do it at first, because I was like, "I like to watch the game. I don't want to play it." And then people are pretty in love with The Traitors. So more and more people would talk to me and say, "Oh my god, you'd be so great. I think it'd be so good for you. I think you'd have so much fun. Blah, blah, blah, blah." So anyway, I succumbed to the pressure and said, "Well, why not? I'll do it." So I said yes.

Let's go from the beginning of your game to the very end. By the time your last Round Table arrvied, there had been a good amount of people suspicious of you, definitely helped by what Yam Yam did at the banquet. Considering you had barely escaped with your life last time, did you feel the die was cast?
Listen, I knew in that moment I wasn't gonna fight to the death, because my name was already gonna happen. So that's why I didn't go crazy at that Round Table. I just kind of was like, "Yeah, here's this. I'll present this. Here's that." And when Rob said to me, "Why do you think Yam Yam said your name?" I literally answered, "I don't know," because I didn't know. It's not how I killed him! I killed him by the amulet. And I can't say that, obviously. So I literally didn't know how to answer that question. I don't know why he said my name, to be honest, because my name had never been said by Yam Yam. So anyway, it felt it was already happening. So I just was like, "Alright, fine. I'll go home." [Laughs.]

Well, one of the reasons why all of that may have been happening is because of Rob. What was your reaction to him voting for you? And how did your relationship change during these acts of "Traitor-on-Traitorcrime"?
Well, it was sad because we had such a great Traitor alliance, which you know is going to end. You're just kind of in la la land, like, "We're such a great group." And we've gone seven episodes. That's a long time for all three Traitors to still be there. So, sooner or later, Traitor-on-Traitor crime is going to happen. You know it. You smell it. And I went, "Okay, it's going to happen." I didn't know he was going so hard to get everybody to vote for me. I did not know that. So it's not great. You don't feel great about it. But it's a brilliant Traitor play. So I can't really fault him, even though he's a Robby Bobby bad boy. He's very bad! But listen, it's a game, and he's playing it really well.

I had heard rumors that you spanked Rob in front of people after he voted for that first time. Can you validate that?
I did. It's true. It's absolutely true. He got a good spanking!

How did he respond? How did everyone else respond?
Well, you'd have to ask him. It was funny. Listen, what am I going to do?! I had to scold him a little bit. I'm a mother! So he got a little scolding.

Well, let's go back to the first time suspicion is really on you: The first Round Table. You decide to vote for Porsha, something that people use as evidence later on for turning on a fellow Housewife. Talk me through your logic in doing that, and what was your reaction to the response the move got?
I'll tell you exactly. I am a Traitor, and I'm looking for a Secret Traitor. That was our goal. Right in that moment, we want to find the Secret Traitor, because the Secret Traitor is controlling our game. We can only kill the four people that they give us. So I was going to vote for Donna going in there. Ron presented three pieces of evidence that were way better than anything anyone was presenting. And I went, "I'm looking for a Secret Traitor."

I am not a Housewife. I don't buy into this: "Housewives have to have Housewives' backs." I don't buy into that. I'm a Traitor. I'm out for myself. So I didn't really think about that. You know what I honestly thought of: Do I want Swifties after me, or do I want Housewife fans after me? And I'm like, "I already have Housewife fans after me. So I'm going there. I don't want the Swifties after me."

But then you voted for Donna next time!
Yeah, but by then, her number was already up. But that all went into my process. And Maura looked at me, and she went, "What are we gonna do?" And I'm like, "I don't know." And she's like, "Ron's making sense." I'm like, "I know." So it was never anything against Porsha. It's not about Housewives having Housewives' backs. Because I'm sorry, I'm not a Housewife. I was one.

So listen, Porsha is out there chatting away about me. But she has nothing else to talk about. So I go, "Alright, you're only on one episode. Who are you going to talk about?" Remember, Candiace turned on her first. Nobody talks about Candiace, only me. And I go, "Alright, well, you get the most press with me anyway. So I get it. I understand it."

We need to get into the Colton of it all. And specifically I want to go to the moment where he tries to offer to protect you at the Round Table if you protect him in the turret. What was your reaction to that? Did you think you were on anyone's radar prior to that interaction?
Only his radar. I could smell it. I knew he was looking at me. I could smell it. I felt it. In that moment, I'm thinking to myself, "Okay, I certainly don't trust him, and I'm certainly not going here. What would make him do this? Maybe he's already doing it with another Traitor. Because how would he know to come up with this?" I certainly wouldn't have known to come up with that. I'm not that smart, so I'm thinking to myself, "Oh, he's got this going on with somebody else. And now he's going to try it with me and try to mess me up." He was great. Colton was a great nemesis for me. And I told him that in the castle. I was like, "You are a great nemesis for me. So it makes for good TV."

Well something he said to get a rise out of you was that he felt you were acting "sheepish" in the castle compared to what he expected of you, saying, "This is not the Lisa Rinna I know."
Nobody knows me! How do they know me? First of all, how do you know me? Do you know me? Do you really know me? Or do you know me as a Housewife?

That's the question I want to know about. Were you indeed minimizing parts of yourself because you were a Traitor? Or were you speaking from a true place of, "You are assessing me based on assumptions from what you've seen on TV"?
Both. I was damned if I do and damned if I don't. If I acted like a Housewife, I would have been called out way earlier. I knew I had to be quiet. I knew that if I was too much, people would be like, "Boom." I knew it was safer for me to sit back. We had Michael Rappaport. He was the greatest shield. I didn't have to do anything for four episodes. I just had to sit back because he took all the air. Nobody cared. Everyone was just on him. That was great. But once he was gone, they started to go, "Oh, well, what about this?" And so I kind of was always damned if you do and damned if you don't. And I chose to play it the way I played it, and I'm glad I did. I think I would have gone out sooner if I had been the "Housewife Rinna." That's just my take on it.

Going back to the banquet, what was your reaction when the actual murder was going down? Because I can't imagine you thought Alan would eliminate Yam Yam on the spot, let alone have him get dragged away yelling that you kissed him.
We didn't know anything. I knew I was going to do a murder in plain sight. That's all I knew. I certainly didn't know they would come and take him at the table. So all of it was a surprise. Him screaming out my name, total shock. And once he did that, I was like, "Oh s—t, it's over." Because his conviction was so strong. Even though it was wrong on every level, his conviction was strong. And I knew that was it. I was sunk.

Who from either your former Housewives castmates or someone you've acted with previously would you want to see on a future season?
Well, I think Erika Jayne would be great. I've said that. But I also think I'd love to see like a big star. Like Julia Roberts, or somebody that you would just never expect, a big fan of the show that actually goes and does it. I think that would be really cool.

Finally, how do you look back on your Traitors experience, considering you weren't able to make it all the way until the end?
I had the best time. I wanted to go seven episodes. I went seven. I win!

Feb. 2, 2026: The Pima County Sheriff's Department declares Nancy Guthrie's home a "crime scene" as Savannah Guthrie asks for prayers.

The PCSD publicly declared her Tucson home a crime scene early on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, though they declined to give specific details about what they saw in her house that made them suspect foul play. Once declaring the home a crime scene, search efforts paused as the investigation pivoted from simply a missing persons case into a criminal case (specifically, a possible homicide case, per TMZ).

The same morning, Savannah posted an Instagram message asking her followers for prayers and begging the world to "bring her home," noting that her mother is "a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant."

Later that day, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos alleged that Nancy had been taken from her home "against her will," likely in the middle of the night and possibly from her bed.

“She is very limited in her mobility, we know she didn’t just walk out of there,” Nanos said. “There were other things at the scene that indicate that she did not leave on her own,” he added, noting that because of her mobility problems, Nancy couldn't walk more than 50 yards by herself.

Nancy reportedly also has other medical issues and needs medication daily to survive.

That evening, the sheriff's office set up an online tip line for the Nancy Guthrie case, offering a $2,500 reward for any images, videos or information leading to an arrest.

On Monday night, TMZ reported that the Pima County Sheriff’s Office was looking into registered sex offenders in the area in connection with Nancy's disappearance. They were also combing through video footage from cameras at Nancy’s house, neighboring homes, local businesses and traffic lights for any clues, and reportedly were also working with the FBI.

Some reports claimed that Nancy's pacemaker stopped syncing up with her Apple Watch. While that sounds obviously macabre given the circumstances, it doesn't necessarily mean her heart stopped beating, but that the devices are out of one another's range, as her Apple Watch was left behind in her home.

Feb. 3, 2026, 11:12 a.m. MT: TMZ obtains a ransom note about Nancy Guthrie.

TMZ reported on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at 11:12 a.m. MT that they received a ransom note about Nancy. The note demanded a Bitcoin payment "in the millions" with a deadline and mentioned specific details about Nancy's apparel and the condition of her home. They forwarded the ransom note and all details to authorities, who said they were aware of and investigating all ransom notes circulating online.

Authorities so far said they weren't aware of any specific threats to Nancy and that it wasn't clear if her abduction was targeted or had a specific motive.

Feb. 3, 2026, 11:35 a.m. MT: A report alleges that investigators found blood at Nancy Guthrie's home.

The Los Angeles Times reported that investigators found blood at Nancy's home and signs of forced entry, citing law enforcement sources speaking anonymously. It is not currently known whose blood was found on the scene.

Feb. 3, 2026, 1:42 p.m.: Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos says there is likely no 'public threat' connected with Nancy Guthrie's disappearance.

During a press conference about the case, Nanos told reporters that he doesn't think that whoever might have abducted Nancy would be a threat to the public.

"Well, we have crime in Tucson all the time, right? Like any city, and so there, when you say a threat to the public, is there somebody out there who's kidnapping elderly people in the middle of the night every night? We've not heard that," he said. "We don't believe that's the case. We do believe that Nancy was taken from her home against her will, and that's where we're at."

Nanos also noted that there was an empty frame for a security camera outside of Nancy's home and that investigators were looking into whether or not a camera was taken at the time of her alleged abduction.

“Every lead and tip is important, we are aggressively pursuing and looking into every single one,” John Edwards, assistant special agent in charge of the Tucson, Ariz., FBI office, urged in the Tuesday press conference. “Again, please help us bring Nancy Guthrie home.”

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 5:09pm

Bronwyn Newport has new love in her life.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was seen with model Brandon Good on Monday, Feb. 2, at the opening night of Whitney Leavitt'sChicago debut. Sources confirmed to People that Newport and Good have been dating for several weeks. Good also posted an Instagram story Monday night with the caption, "Date night Chicago Broadway opening."

"It’s new, but they’re enjoying getting to know one another. Bronwyn's really happy," said the source.

Newport announced her separation from her husband, Todd Bradley, on Dec. 12, 2025 after nine years of marriage. The couple's marital troubles were a prominent topic of conversation on the most recent season of RHOSLC.

"I’m not happy. This is not what I wanted. It’s not where I hoped for us to be going. But from where we are, I can see wonderful things for both of us," Newport told People on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

Newport also spoke candidly to People about navigating her separation from Bradley while on reality television.

"I agreed to put my life on camera, and that can't just be the things that benefit me or the things that are easy or the things that are happy," she said. "Todd hates the show. I don't think that's a surprise to anyone who's seen it. He thinks that I didn’t need to do it, or I didn’t need to prove to other people who I was or who I am."

Newport is looking forward to the next chapter of her life and hopes to continue her journey on RHOSLC

"It has brought me so much joy and friendships," she said of the show. "It's brought me a lot of introspection about who I am as a person, what I want in my life, who I want to be in other people's lives."

Police Break Silence on Alleged Ransom Note in Nancy Guthrie Case

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 4:58pm

Police have broken their silence on a purported ransom note demanding "certain amounts of money" in exchange for the release of Savannah Guthrie's mother Nancy, after she was abducted from her home in Arizona in the middle of the night.

Police Have Not Yet Confirmed or Denied the Legitimacy of the Demands

"We are aware of reports circulating about possible ransom note(s) regarding the investigation into Nancy Guthrie," the Pima County Sheriff's Department wrote in its latest update on the case, assuring those following the status that investigators "are taking all tips and leads very seriously."

Every piece of information submitted to the department "goes directly" to those in charge of the case, who are also coordinating directly with the FBI in the search for Nancy, who was reported missing over the weekend after she didn't show up to church as expected. Nationwide interest in the case exploded, culminating in "hundreds of leads" for investigators to comb through—though there's no word yet on the credibility of any of them.

"We encourage anyone who may have any information or tips to share them [here]," they added, driving to their official evidence submission site for Nancy's case, which allows those who may have a credible tip to submit their contact information in order to receive a secure link through which to submit it.

Anyone with any information about Nancy's disappearance can contact the Pima County sheriff’s department at 520-351-4900.

The ransom note was sent directly to TMZ via email, including unconfirmed demands for "a substantial amount" of Bitcoin in exchange for Nancy's safe return.

The email was “very specific" about the state of the house and Nancy's condition at the time of her abduction, suggesting that it could have only been written by someone responsible for her disappearance.

Those 'Specifics' Have Not Been Made Public

Information about the damage found at the scene has largely been kept under wraps as the investigation into the 84-year-old's disappearance continues, but police confirmed signs of forced entry and the discovery of blood at the scene.

In the meantime, friends of the Today anchor—who has pulled out of Winter Olympics coverage amid the search for her mom—are all rallying around her in prayer for the safe return of her mother.

Nancy suffers from a series of health conditions that necessitate daily medications, which she currently does not have access to—something her family is worried could kill her.

Investigators are combing through local surveillance footage and looking into registered sex offenders in the area, as well as canvassing with the help of aircraft, drones, search-and-rescue dogs, and volunteers, but so far, neither a suspect nor a confirmed motive has been identified.

There is now a $2,500 reward being offered for information that leads to the arrest of anyone involved in Nancy's disappearance, though the public certainly had some thoughts about the number of 0's being advertised.

Harrowing Video Appears to Show Blood Outside Nancy Guthrie's Home

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 4:49pm

Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, is still missing as of Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Authorities say that Nancy was last seen at her home in the evening on Saturday, Jan. 31, around 9:30 p.m. local time. Law enforcement officials believe that Nancy may have been abducted from her home in the overnight hours.

On Feb. 3, News Nation Senior National Correspondent Brian Entin shared a new video that was allegedly taken outside Nancy's home in Arizona. In the video, there appears to be drops of blood on the front stoop, according to TMZ.

— Brian Entin (@BrianEntin) February 3, 2026

"You can see here the ring camera is missing from Nancy Guthrie's front door," Entin captioned the post on X.

Earlier in the day, the Pima County Sheriff's Office confirmed that biological DNA was collected from Nancy's home and sent to a lab for analysis. At a press conference on Feb. 3, Sheriff Chris Nanos said that the home had been turned back over to the family after being cleared by investigators, which is likely how Entin was able to walk up to the front door.

Nanos declined to comment further on what was found inside Nancy's home, which was being treated as a crime scene. At the same press conference, Nanos said that the Guthrie family is "just devastated like anyone would be. They are a family and they lean on each other."

Shortly after the press conference concluded, TMZ said it received an email that was written like a ransom note. The unverified email demanded millions of dollars in Bitcoin. TMZ said that whomever sent the email was sure to include specific details about Nancy's home and about what she was wearing at the time of the alleged kidnapping.

Savannah has taken to social media to ask the public for help in locating her mother and has also asked for prayers.

Dave & Buster's is Giving Away $15,000 Diamond Engagement Rings for Valentine's Day—But There's Only One Way to Win

Tue, 02/03/2026 - 4:45pm

By the numbers, Valentine's Day is one of the most popular dates for proposals of the year. What better day than the annual celebration of love to profess your desire to spend the rest of your life with someone? Sure, it might seem cliché and expected, but we're all just trying to find the Shane Hollander to our Ilya Rozanov at the end of the day, right? Seriously, where would Vegas be without impromptu proposals and spur-of-the-moment weddings officiated by Elvis himself? Cliche or not, there's no denying the courage it takes to profess your undying love for someone, regardless of the day.

But whether you're ready to take the plunge or not, the most important component of any proposal is, of course, the ring. And if you've ever decided to price one out of curiosity, then you're well aware that they can be pretty pricey. Not that price matters, but on average, most people spend anywhere between $3,000 and $6,500 on an engagement ring. That might be small potatoes for some people, but the rest of us don't typically have that amount of cash just lying around on the off chance that we meet the love of our life.

The catch, of course, is that you'll have to try your luck at grabbing one of the luxurious prizes by being hoisted into the air and moved around by your partner. Although the odds of you grabbing a ring are entirely up to chance, there's no denying the value of just $20 for a shot at an unforgettable proposal if you do. Even if you're not exactly at the proposal phase just yet, Dave & Buster's has something for you and your honeybun, too.

Date Night Done the Dave & Buster's Way
