Burger King CEO Says He Refuses to Eat Restaurant's Chicken Nuggets: 'We Can Do Better'
Every fast food fan has their go-to order of choice at Burger King, whether you're partial to a classic Whopper or an equally delicious Chicken Sandwich.
As many great options as there are on the iconic restaurant chain's ever-changing menu, BK's president isn't shying away from naming the most disappointing item you'll find on the brand's menu.
According to The New York Post, Burger King President Tom Curtis recently shared his favorite item to order from the popular fast food, specifically pointing to the rrstaurant's sign ature Whopper as his preferred order of choice.
“The flame-grilled taste can’t be beat, and it’s the perfect burger just how it comes,” Curtis expsaid o the brand's best-selling dish.
Conversely, one item that even Curtis said he prefers to avoid is the brand's polarizing chicken nuggets.
Though a popular item at most major competitors like McDonald's and Wendy's, Curtis admitted that the current iteration of BK's chicken nuggets fell significantly below both his and diners' expectations.
“We can do better, and we will," the president continued. "I want a meatier, crispier nugget and sauces that make my taste buds dance. The team is on it."
As The Post pointed out, numerous diners have continuously voiced their exasperation and frustration with the poor quality of Burger King's nuggets, taking to social media to share their disappointment.
“Burger King should be ashamed of themselves for these nuggets," one customer wrote. "Nuggets just looking perfect until you bite into one, and it’s artificial mush meat. You can at least take the word chicken out of the title cause ain’t no chicken in there."
In addition to promising an overhaul of the brand's nuggets, Curtis also hinted at a possible return of the fan-favorite Grilled Chicken Sandwich, a long-since discontinued item at nationwide Burger Kings. “It’s hard to find a really good one right now!” Curtis said.

Larry Davids Says He's 'Embarrassed to be an American' After UFC WHite House Event
Larry David has always been vocal about his criticism of President Donald Trump. The comedian gave his two cents on the recent "UFC Freedom 250" event that took place on the White House lawn and called it a "travesty."
In celebration of the United States 250th birthday and Trump's 80th, a never-before-done special UFC card was held on the South Lawn on June 14. The event marked the first professional sporting event to be held on the White House grounds, which brought together various celebrities and caused controversy.
While speaking with David for the premiere of his new HBO show, Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America, the Seinfeld co-creator told Variety the UFC was an utter embarrassment.
“It was a travesty,” David said. “What else can you say about it? It was embarrassing. I was embarrassed to be an American.”
#LarryDavid says President Donald Trump's UFC fight at the White House made him "embarrassed to be an American." pic.twitter.com/zFlCfeOwyG
— Variety (@Variety) June 24, 2026In the past, David has openly criticized Trump and those in the entertainment industry who support his presidency. He even penned a guest essay for the New York Times titled "My Dinner with Adolf," following comedian Bill Maher's dinner with Trump at the White House.
The UFC event brought an onslaught of criticism from fans who chastised those in attendance. Comedian Nate Bargatzewas under fire for having attended the event and having fans question his "no politics" stance. Others criticized the event performers like Zac Brown, who later defended himself, saying it was about "patriotism, not politics."
The spotlight was also put on UFC heavyweight fighter Josh Hokit for his speech after winning against Derrick Lewis. In a post-fight interview withJoe Rogan, Hokit reportedly insulted former first lady Michelle Obama, saying, “Michelle Obama is a man, am I right, America?”
Hokit's comment led UFC CEO Dana White to issue a public statement against "saying nasty and false things about people’s families.” The fighter would later say he meant the comment as a "compliment" and saw it as an opportunity to display free speech.
David's Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America series was developed with former President Barack Obama and the former First Lady's production company, Higher Ground. The series looks back at pivotal moments in U.S. history with a comedic lens and includes guest appearances, even from Obama himself.
1966 Rock Classic, From One of the Greatest No. 1 Bands in History, Climbed the Charts During the Bicentennial Summer
The summer of 1976 was all about the U.S. Bicentennial, and the Starland Vocal Band’s “Afternoon Delight” and Wings’ “Silly Love Songs” dominated the music charts during America's 200thbirthday celebrations. But during that same time period, a 10-year-old Beatles classic also became a hit.
The song was “Got to Get You into My Life,” and it was originally a track on the iconic 1966 Beatles album Revolver. The song wasn’t released as a single until 10 years later, long after the hit-making British rock band broke up, as part of Capitol Records’ Rock ‘n’ Roll Music compilation.
Written by Paul McCartneyand John Lennon, the delayed Beatles hit, which also featured Ringo Starrand George Harrison, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 on June 12, 1976, and peaked at No. 7 on July 24 amid a 17-week run that took the song through the summer.
“Got to Get You into My Life” became the Beatles' last Top 10 hit in the U.S. until the 1995 release, "Free as a Bird."
Featuring a blaring brass section and urgent vocals, “Got to Get You into My Life" had a heavier, different sound than the past Beatles' songs that were hits in the ‘60s.
Lennon acknowledged the change in a 1968 interview with Rolling Stone.
“'Got to Get You Into My Life' – sure, we were doing our Tamla Motown bit,” he said. “You see, we’re influenced by whatever’s going. Even if we’re not influenced, we’re all going that way at a certain time. If we played a Stones record now – and a Beatles record – and we’ve been way apart – you’d find a lot of similarities. We’re all heavy. Just heavy. How did we ever do anything light?”
On the Fab Four’s official website, “Got to Get You Into My Life” was described as “a soulful Motown homage with colorful brass instrumentation, and lyrics that suggest a psychedelic experience.”

As for the psychedelic reference, McCartney himself confirmed that the song was not a silly love song but instead a drug song in disguise.
“'Got to Get You Into My Life' was one I wrote when I was first introduced to pot,” the Beatles legend revealed in his 1998 memoir in his memoir Many Years From Now. "I'd been a rather straight working-class lad, but when we started to get into pot it seemed to me to be quite uplifting."
McCartney further clarified the song’s meaning to Rolling Stone, explaining, “It’s actually an ode to pot, like someone else might write an ode to chocolate or a good claret.”

W. Kamau Bell Calls Out Nate Bargatze Over Trump UFC Appearance: ‘Don’t Be in a Photo With Fascists’
Comedian Nate Bargatze is facing criticism from more than just fans after attending a UFC event at President Donald Trump’s White House birthday celebration, with fellow comic W. Kamau Bell offering some blunt advice: “Don’t be in a photo with fascists.”
Bell addressed the controversy in his Substack essay, "It Is So Easy To Not Do This," criticizing those who attend such events and then express surprise over the backlash. “Recently, some people who want us to think of them as ‘nice’ and ‘good’ have acted ‘surprised’ when the public has been surprised to see evidence of these ‘nice’ and ‘good’ people willingly associating with proud fascists,” adding, “Don’t be in a photo with fascists.”
He continued by writing that “the easiest way to not be photographed with fascists is to not go to places where fascists coagulate. If you do go to a place where fascists are coagulating, then you had better have a good reason… like a John Brown/’Inglourious Basterds’ good reason,” and “If you don’t have a good reason to be hanging out with fascists, then congratulations! You are now a member of Team Fascism.”
Bell emphasized that "no one cares how much you wanted to see the fights at the White House" reminding Bargatze that, "The White House is currently registered as the home of a fascist… If you don’t want to be a member of Team Fascism, then after we see you with fascists, it is up to you to actively and immediately begin digging yourself out of the fascism hole and working your way back to the correct side of history. For the record, a statement from your rep or a social media post – or really anything short of immediate real world action doesn’t count.”
Fans criticized the comedian after actress Cheryl Hines shared an Instagram photo of him alongside her husband, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., at the event.
“Nate Bargatze was by far the most shocking and disappointing attendee for me. One of my favorite comedians and a genuinely decent guy. Dude should have known how bad it would look,” one fan wrote on Threads with another adding, “Nate Bargatze can support Trump. Nate Bargatze can attend Trump’s White House UFC party. Nate Bargatze can pose for photos with political figures."
Financial Experts Reveal the Estate Planning Checklist Every Retiree Needs (Overlooking #4 Could Cost You Big Time)
No one really likes thinking about death or what will happen when they’re gone, but failing to do so could leave your heirs with months of red tape and mountains of legal fees. There are 9 essential items every retiree (or anyone really) should have on their estate planning checklist to do now. If you don’t get these done, you could be setting your loved ones up for more than just grief when you pass.
The ChecklistThese are the basics of estate planning; feel free to add more based on your personal circumstances.
1.) An updated will - Every time a major life event happens, such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, or anything else relevant to your situation, you should update your will. It ensures assets go where intended; without one, state intestacy laws decide.
2.) A durable power of attorney (financial) - This will provide you with a financial decision-maker in the event you’re incapacitated. The person you choose will have a lot of power over your assets, so make sure the person is reliable, trustworthy, and will honor your wishes.
3.) A healthcare power of attorney/advance directive - Again, this will be someone charged with oversight of your medical care in the event you’re unable to voice your own wishes. You could also set up an advance directive to carry out your wishes, but having a healthcare power of attorney can account for unexpected circumstances.
"Power of Attorney ends once the person passes, so it's important for everyone involved in the will to understand this," says David Mulqueen, Executor Assistant at AnnCare. "Have a conversation with the executor and talk through what it actually entails. Many executors have no idea how much time settling an estate takes, especially when working a full-time job, managing a family, and grieving."
4.) Beneficiary designations (retirement accounts, life insurance, etc) - These override your will, so it’s important they’re updated regularly. Whoever is listed on these documents will receive the benefits, so it’s important to make sure they’re split the way you want. (For instance, you could name your spouse 50% beneficiary and your child the other 50% so money goes directly to them.)
“Many people assume, ‘My will says everything goes to my spouse/kids, so I'm covered.’ But retirement accounts and life insurance usually pass directly to the person named on the beneficiary form, regardless of what the will says. So make sure the names are up to date," Says Delaney Haley, Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor and Head of Customer Operations and Experience at estate settlement platform Alix.
Haley goes on to say, “The list provided is a great jumping off point for not only putting your own estate plans in order, but also for ensuring that your family has a smooth path to settle your estate when the time comes. There are several key factors to consider – maintaining a clear list of your current assets and debts, having conversations with your proposed executor and your family regarding your wishes, and securing the following critical documents in one place that your family can access after your death.”

5.) A revocable living trust and a Medicaid asset protection trust (if applicable) - A trust could be the single best advantage you give your heirs to shield them from exorbitant inheritance expenses. When the trust owns everything, beneficiaries can avoid taxes on inherited properties, bank accounts, etc.
Evan Farr is an estate planning and elder law attorney who practices with the Farr Law Firm in Virginia, Maryland, and DC. His advice is based on years of estate planning and seeing the gaps in those plans.
"I've done Estate Planning for over 35 years, and in the past 15 years, we have done MORE Medicaid asset protection trusts than revocable living trusts. Most people doing estate planning don't even consider this option because most people are not aware that it exists," says Farr.
6.) A list of digital assets and passwords - Surprisingly, this is one of the most overlooked items that should be on your checklist. If you use a password manager, you can designate an heir or legacy contact to receive this information upon your passing. Otherwise, you should keep a copy of this updated with your will.
7.) An updated asset inventory - Having an asset inventory will help your heirs settle your estate quickly without having to search around for accounts, property, debts, etc. It will make the entire process run much smoother for the people you love.
8.) A letter of intent/personal instructions - Do you want to be cremated or would you prefer to be a tree? Make sure all of your postmortem wishes are laid out for your final rest. This could also list out who receives sentimental items like grandma’s recipe cards or your dad’s wedding ring.
9.) Regular reviews with an advisor/attorney - Even if you don’t remember to update estate planning line items regularly, setting a regular appointment with an advisor or attorney can help you keep things up-to-date. Think of it as a gentle reminder to reassess how your assets will be received.
Somita Basu, Partner at Norton Basu LLP in California, says, "The most important part is regular reviews with your attorney. Your legal documents should change as your life changes."

Estate Planning Isn’t So GraveEstate planning isn’t as final as you would think. The documents are living things that change as your circumstances do, and should include everyone you want in them.
Remember that children, grandchildren, and other family and friends will be dealing with your passing. Proper estate planning can make that transition much easier for them if you take care of everything in advance.

Congress Just Passed a Historic Housing Bill—but There's a Catch That's Keeping It From Becoming Law
On Tuesday, June 23, the House passed a bipartisan bill just one day after the Senate approved it. The bill was touted as landmark legislation that was drafted to tackle the growing housing crisis, which has put homeownership out of reach for many. However, a planned event that would've seen President Donald Trump sign the bill into law was canceled Wednesday afternoon when Trump said he wouldn't sign it until lawmakers were able to pass the SAVE America Act, a bill designed to tighten voting laws, that has failed to make it through the Senate three times.
According to the experts we spoke with, the affordable housing bill would make it easier for adults over
60 to plan for their retirement, offering them more affordable housing options while potentially making it easier for them to age in place. Here's what they say could happen if Trump signs off on the approved legislation.
What the Bill Would Actually Do for the Housing MarketDee Dee Beaty, Senior Vice President of Housing at Volunteers of America National Services, calls the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act a bipartisan effort to meet the urgent housing shortage in our country. "For groups like Volunteers of America National Services, this issue is very real—we see the stress it causes in our communities every day," she says. "This bill aims to remove the barriers that slow down new construction and add important protections to help keep families and seniors from being priced out of the housing market."
The bill focuses on two main things, according to Beaty: increasing supply and offering protection. "For supply, it changes how federal money can be used, letting local communities use HUD block grants directly to build new affordable homes," she explains. "It also ties future funding to real progress, so if you want federal support, you need to show that you are actually building."
Dr. Selma Hepp, a Chief Economist at Cotality, called the bill one of the "most significant housing bills in decades," thanks to the way it acknowledges the affordability crisis. "The focus has shifted from stimulating demand to removing barriers that prevent more housing from being built." Not only that, but Dr. Hepp says that it has the potential to help seniors. "Alternative housing types receive a major boost," she continues. "The legislation promotes manufactured housing, modular construction, ADUs, office-to-residential conversions, and missing-middle housing that can add supply more quickly than traditional development."
However, Beaty says that just building those new homes is not enough if big corporate investors buy them before families have a chance. "The bill limits large private equity firms from buying up single-family homes in bulk," she continues. "This helps protect the homes we already have and keeps homeownership and stable rentals within reach for regular people, instead of letting neighborhoods become just another investment for corporations."
Why Experts Say Seniors Could Be the Biggest WinnersWhile the legislation stands to help make owning a home more accessible for all Americans, Chloe Shubin, VP of Operations and Strategy of Griffin Funding, says seniors could be the real winners here if the bill gets passed.
"The housing provisions that directly affect retirees center around modular and manufactured homes," she says. "Section 121 of the bill finally repeals the outdated chassis requirement that manufactured homes have attached wheels, which could shave $5,000 to $10,000 off the cost of each home."
Shubin also says that it could push regulators to study ways to ensure lenders don’t treat modular homes like “manufactured homes,” and disallow them from using standard financing. "The importance of that tweak cannot be [overstated] for retirees," she continues. "Historically, modular and manufactured homes have been much more difficult to purchase with traditional financing. That’s pushed buyers towards expensive personal property loans rather than mortgages."
Shubin says that opening up mortgage financing on these homes will create less expensive avenues for downsizing. That's something she says is especially true in highly sought-after retirement markets where land and traditional construction costs are at a premium.
Will Trump Sign the Bill? With all the potential perks, it seems like signing this bill would be a slam dunk for the administration. However, CBS News notes that Trump plans to hold out on signing the bill until the SAVE America Act is passed, something he said he considered a "national emergency" on social media.
According to CBS News, Trump doesn't have too long to wait on his decision, since the U.S. Constitution requires him to either sign the bill or veto it within 10 days (excluding Sundays, or if Congress adjournes during that 10-day window), or it will automatically become the law.
As this is a breaking story, we expect a lot more information to come out about the future of the bill in the coming days.

Kathy and Nicky Hilton Toast to Princess Diana's Lookalike Twin Nieces in London
British royalty mingled with celebs who may be considered a form of American royalty this week, as Princess Diana's nieces recently spent time with Nicky Hilton and mom Kathy Hilton in London.
Twins Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer, who launched a rosé line, Lala V, last year hosted a party for their brand, which was attended by the Hilton mom-and-daughter duo.
"My heart is so full," Eliza captioned a gallery of photos from the event. "Thank you to everyone who joined us for our @lala_v_official × Nikita’s Ascot Ladies’ Day After Party. Seeing so many wonderful people together, celebrating over glasses of rosé, meant more to me than I can put into words."
"It was such a special evening and one I'll never forget," she concluded.
View this post on InstagramIn the comments Nicky replied, "Such a fab night!" while Kathy wrote, "Such a wonderful time."
Eliza and Amelia's older sister Kitty, who wasn't present for the party, also referred to the group as "Beautiful blondes" in her comment.
Swimwear designer Melissa Odabash, model and actress Eunice Olumide, and designer Vassia Kostara also attended the celebration.
This isn't the first time the sisters have spent time with a Hilton though. Eliza, Amelia and Nicky all attended Alice and Olivia designer Stacey Bendet's bash for The Iris Project in London earlier this month.
The Spencer sisters' father Charles Spencer is Princess Diana's younger brother. While the three girls have remained largely out of the global spotlight, they've all pursued modeling and are socialites in their own right in London and are regular staples at fashion events and industry parties throughout Europe.
And even though they're not be as public as their cousins Prince Williamand Prince Harry, all three sisters keep the legacy of their aunt going with their fashion choices, whether they're intentional or not.
Most recently, the sisters attended the Royal Ascot and sported pastel pink looks, by British label Holland Cooper, that immediately drew comparisons to their late famed relative. Nicky also attended the annual celebration.

In fact, a compact side table with built-in storage can help keep things tidy and within easy reach in most spaces. Beside your bed, next to the couch, in an entryway, or tucked into a reading nook, the right end table can be a practical solution for small spaces that need extra organization. To tackle the clutter that can pile up in these areas, we love the Vasagle Small Round Side Table at Target. The best part? It's currently on sale for 50% off!
Normally $80, you can snag this side table right now for just $40 during Target's Circle Deal Days event that runs through June 26. It features a sleek, Scandinavian-style design with a spacious fabric basket underneath for convenient storage. Plus, it's available in six color combinations — gray, forest green, or cream with a cream basket, white with a beige basket, black with a slate gray basket, or pink with a white basket.

Despite weighing just 9 pounds, the high-quality particleboard tabletop is sturdy enough to support up to 77 pounds.
Measuring just under 16 inches in diameter and 7 inches deep, the double-layered polyester basket at the bottom of the table provides convenient storage. It's made without a chemical coating, so you can feel comfortable using it around pets and children. Steel U-shaped legs hold the basket in place and keep the table stable. Described as "cute and sturdy," shoppers appreciated that this side table was "easy to assemble" and said the size "fits well in small spaces." It works well in all sorts of places — in a reading corner to store books, between two chairs on a covered patio, and as throw blanket storage in the living room, and next to the bed to store medical supplies like a blood pressure monitor or sleep apnea machine.
A reviewer who used it as a nightstand in their child's room said it's "great for a bedside table," and that they "love the additional storage" it provides for toys. Another customer who used this table next to the glider in their baby's nursery said it's "not super heavy duty, but it’s perfect for what we need it for."

The Transportation Shift Nobody Expected Is Happening Right Now in These Major Cities
“The end of Spirit Airlines is the death of affordable travel,” declared a thread on the r/povertyfinance subReddit, after the budget carrier abruptly laid off 17,000 employees and grounded its flights in May of 2026. And while several users noted that other low-cost carriers like Frontier and Allegiant are still flying, the end of Spirit Airlines marked the end of an era for the industry.
After President Carter deregulated the industry in 1978, airlines were free to set their own fares for the first time, and the race among budget carriers to unbundle fares and set bargain prices began. When the former Clippert Trucking Company rebranded itself as charter airline Spirit Airlines in 1992, budget carriers like Southwest were booming. That spelled trouble for on-the-ground alternatives like Trailways and Greyhound, which had long provided cheap intercity connections.
The COVID-19 pandemic was brutal for the entire travel industry, but particularly for budget carriers with slimmer margins than most. Spirit had been struggling financially for years before a sudden spike in fuel prices at the onset of the U.S.-Iran War contributed to the low-cost carrier’s final declaration of bankruptcy. Now it seems that the best replacement for the “Greyhound of the Skies” is, well, the Greyhound of the ground.
Why The Inter-City Bus Market Is GrowingDePaul University's Chaddick Institute’s annual review of bus travel in the United States found that, despite the 2025 bankruptcy of Megabus parent Coach USA, the bus market looks bullish. Researchers predicted a 4% increase in bus ridership last year—almost double the projected growth of domestic air and auto travel. But the infrastructure needed to support that intercity growth needs a bit of an update, even in major metro areas that have a strong history of transit ridership.
In 2024, the Institute noted that Chicago was about to become the largest city in North America without an intercity bus terminal– something that would have been unthinkable for the 40 years that Greyhound was headquartered in the Windy City. That’s about to change. The City of Chicago is poised to buy its Greyhound bus terminal from Twenty Lake Holdings, which has been leasing the facility month-to-month to Greyhound’s parent company, Flix.
Related: This Is the Top-Ranked City for a 'Microvacation'
In Philadelphia, the City Center bus station has just reopened for the first time since 2023 following a $4 million renovation, and in anticipation of an influx of travel for the FIFA World Cup this year. Rather than buying the Filbert Street property, the Philadelphia Parking Authority leased the space from the New York-based investment group that previously rented the building to Flix. After Greyhound left the station three years ago, several redevelopment possibilities were considered, including a scuttled project involving the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team.
That’s been a trend across the country as valuable downtown bus terminal properties have been snapped up for redevelopment. While Greyhound once retained top architects to design its signature Streamline bus stations coast to coast, it’s been jettisoning stations in major metros in recent years. In 2021, Twenty Lake Holdings bought 33 Greyhound stations from FirstGroup, which owned Greyhound before the Flix acquisition, including the Chicago property it just sold to the city. Two years later, Twenty Lake purchased the Richmond, Virginia, station and continued to lease it to Greyhound until 2025. Today, the site is slated for new mixed-use retail and residences.
In 2020, developers bought the former Denver, Colorado Greyhound terminal from FirstGroup–although the proposed plans for residential, hotel, and office construction remain on hold. In 2024, a local investor purchased the historic Greyhound station in downtown Dallas for nearly 3 million in anticipation of a new convention center development nearby. And in Portland, Oregon, TriMet just announced its intent to purchase the Old Town station in the city’s historic Chinatown district after Greyhound moved to curbside service in 2019.
However, that trend now seems to be reversing as city and regional transit authorities bring riders in off the street. In 2021, the Central Ohio Transit Authority purchased the former Columbus, Ohio, Greyhound station, intending to transform it into a broader transit hub as part of a planned 45% service expansion by 2050. Last year, Dallas opened a brand new Greyhound bus station near Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s Bachman Station for improved connectivity. Now, Chicago and Philadelphia are joining a wave of reinvestment in intercity bus travel, just when budget travelers need it most.
Will Harry and Meghan Finally Secure the 'Money Shot'—A Picture Of Their Children With King Charles?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making their return to the UK—and they'll be bringing their children.
Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet Diana (5) are set to accompany their parents to the UK in July, marking the first time since in four years that the Sussexes will visit the country as a family.
But will the Duke and Duchess of Sussex secure what the Times refers to as the "ultimate money shot"—a photograph of their children with King Charles?
If the reports are true that the king has agreed to meet with Harry, Meghan, and their children, this will be the first time that he will have seen Archie and Lilibet since the Sussexes visited the UK four years ago for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
No photograph of Charles with both of the Sussex grandchildren is known to exist. A photograph of a newborn Archie being introduced to Charles and his great-grandmother the late queen was published shortly after his birth in 2019.
There's also the family portrait taken at Archie's christening, which includes Queen Camilla, Kate Middleton, and Prince William.
Charles has only met his granddaughter Lilibet once, when she came to the UK with her parents in 2022, and we have never seen them photographed together.
Related: Prince George Is Going To Eton—Did Kate Middleton Lose A Battle With Prince William?
Now rumors are swirling that the king might not only meet with his grandchildren, but that he will concede to pose for a picture with them—a picture that might well be released to the public.
The value of such a family portrait cannot be denied, especially when it comes to Meghan's lifestyle brand As ever.
Reports concerning the brand's success or lack thereof are decidedly mixed, and in the meantime the duchess's Netflix show—With Love, Meghan—has been canceled after only two seasons and a holiday special.
A reminder of Meghan's ties to the British royal family could go a long way towards the promotion of her brand.
After all, Archie and Lilibet are sixth and seven in line to the throne respectively. Meghan herself was walked up the aisle by the now-monarch at her wedding to Harry in 2018.
But the question remains as to whether Charles will agree to a photo. And if he does, will it ever be published?
The Times article mentions a rumor that the late queen refused Harry and Meghan's request to have a photographer accompany them to their children's meeting with her back in 2022.
There is no known existing photograph of the queen with both Archie and Lilibet, although that's not to say that none were taken in private.
Related: This Is What Princess Charlotte’s New Title Will Be When Prince William Becomes King
It's possible that Harry and Meghan would not release such a photograph in any case, because of the lengths they go to to conceal their children's faces in pictures they release via Instagram.
However, sooner or later the time will come when the world knows what Archie and Lilibet look like. Perhaps Harry and Meghan will decide to reveal their children's faces on their own terms.
And what better time to do so than the long-awaited reunion with their grandfather, King of the United Kingdom and Supreme Governor of the Church of England?
Amid the tensions between Harry and the rest of the royal family following his and Meghan's 'freedom flight' to Canada and ultimately the US in 2020, followed by the infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey and the publication of Harry's damning memoir Spare, Charles has reportedly offered the Sussexes an "olive branch": accommodation at a royal residence when they visit the UK.
A previous offer to have Harry stay at Buckingham Palace when he visited the UK was turned down by the Duke of Sussex for security reasons. He stayed at a hotel in central London instead.
As for Harry's brother Prince William, it is likely that William will "make himself scarce" when the Sussexes are in town.
Sources close to the Prince of Wales suggest that he may have found Harry's allegations about his behaviour and character—including a story in which he threw Harry to the floor and snapped his favorite necklace—"intolerable."
In a BBC interview last year Harry said, "Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things.
"But I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight any more.”

No. 1 Country Superstar Announces New Album
Kenny Chesney fans have a new album to anticipate.
The country icon took to Instagram to share the exciting news that his newest album, titled “Silver Sands Marina,” will be arriving this fall, marking his 21st album release to date since he burst onto the scene in the late ‘90s.
“New album “Silver Sands Marina” out September 25th,” he wrote, alongside a shot of the album cover of a dim sky and a lit-up marina.
To get fans even more excited about the release, he also announced that the “title track” is available now. The official music video for the tune will be released on June 26, 2026.
“This album was built with human emotions that make us feel alive,” he expressed, adding, “Cheers to New Music.”
Fans can now pre-save, pre-add, and pre-order the new album ahead of its release.
View this post on InstagramThere was plenty of excitement for the new music in the comment section, as one called it, “The best news!!”
“Ready to have this on repeat 😎,” someone else chimed in, while another noted, “Yesss!!!! Cannot wait!!! 🔥🏴☠️🧡.”
It even earned him a comparison to another music legend, with one comment complimenting, “Also this is giving Jimmy Buffett and I’m all here for it”
While Chesney has long delivered carefree summer anthems perfect for road trips, backyard hangs, and beach days, his new track ushers in a breezier, more reflective fall vibe, serving as a reminder to slow down and soak up all the moments—big, small, and unplanned
“It is such a well-written song,” Chesney said, per CountryNow. “You can smell the fall in the air, the lake and that solitude. Everyone’s so busy rushing, you miss most of the small details – and everything that happens around them. But in ‘Silver Sands Marina,’ not only do the details hold the song in place, they remind you that the magic happens in the simplest, realest places: you just have to be open to letting it happen.”
In May, Chesney, who has over 20 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and is consistently one of country radio's top artists, was given the title of the No. 1 Country Artistof the 21st Century by Billboard.

“It's the most immersive experience. People that have been listening to my music for a long time come to Sphere, and they're going to experience the same songs in a completely different state of consciousness. It is unbelievable,” the five-time CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year revealed of what it’s like to headline at the Sphere, per Holler Country.
The Internet Is Having a Field Day After Elon Musk Lost Trillionaire Status, ‘We Should Start a GoFundMe’
On June 12, Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire. The SpaceX IPO catapulted his net worth, putting him well above billionaires like Google’s Larry Page and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.
But sadly, all good things come to an end. After SpaceX’s stock took a dip on Tuesday, June 23, the trillionaire (scratch that, billionaire) is now only worth $975 billion (as of Wednesday morning), according toForbes. And the average American still only earns just over $69,800 a year, according to the U.S. Social Security Administration.
While no one is shedding a tear for Musk, social media lit up with thoughts on the news. In a recent Reddit post, one user joked, “Guys, I think I’m responsible. I just canceled my subscription to Starlink,” while others said, “ Now he is one of us. I also have no trillionaire status,” and a cheeky, “This is truly sad news, how will he cope?”
Others posted their views on Musk’s sudden slide, “Let’s just keep calling him a trillionaire so that he doesn’t do something stupid to our world trying to regain his status,” and, “IMO, he was never a trillionaire. If you can’t be taxed on stocks you own because they are ‘unrealized gains,’ you can’t claim it’s real money when you go to counting your gold doubloons.”
Some social media users had a few sarcastic suggestions to help Musk regain his status: “I think we should start a GoFundMe to help him out. Poor guy,” and “We have to help him! How can we send him all our money?”
Back in March, Musk shared his views on the future of the world economy, telling Peter Diamandis, “I do think we’ll have universal high income. We’re basically just issuing money to people, you know, and they are really just, because the output of goods and services will so far exceed the money supply that we effectively have deflation.”
He continued, “Basically, AI and robots are going to make so much stuff and provide so many services that they will actually run out of things to do for the humans.”
In what was the soundbite of the interview, Musk added, “I think money will stop being relevant at some point in the future.”
Forbesreposted the clip on June 13 (the day after Musk reached trillionaire status), and people had plenty to say. One commenter wrote, “Then why you got so much of it?” as another noted, “Says the man who has it.”
View this post on InstagramOf course, no one is really concerned that Musk’s sudden loss will have much of an effect on the man who still holds the top spot as the wealthiest person on the planet!

Financial Experts Say Most Retirees Forget to Plan for This One Major Expense—and It Can Cost Tens of Thousands
As people prepare for retirement, they often meet with experts to make sure that they have done everything they need to before leaving the workforce. And while this process usually involves a lot of financial planning, investing, and careful consideration about long-term goals, the experts we spoke with say there's one thing that many retirees forget to do during this process.
According to them, there's one large expense that many adults over 60 fail to consider when planning for their golden years, and the experts we spoke with say it can cost you $172,500 if you're not careful.
Most Retirees Make the Same Costly Assumption About MedicareWhile many seniors are very tuned in to how much money they will need for their everyday expenses as they head into retirement, Jeffrey Corliss, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CASL®, managing director, Hightower Signature Wealth, says that people often forget to factor their healthcare costs into their planning.
"Retirees often underestimate the cost [of] expenses in three areas—pre-Medicare coverage, ongoing healthcare costs, and long-term care—but the most common misconception is the scope of Medicare coverage," he says. "Many people assume Medicare will cover most, if not all, of their healthcare expenses, including long-term care. In reality, Medicare provides only partial coverage and does not cover most long-term care needs."
Another thing they often get wrong? The assumption that their health insurance coverage will remain the same. "When someone retires or loses employer-sponsored benefits, their healthcare coverage can change significantly," Corliss says. "For example, continuing coverage through COBRA (editor's note: this allows people to pay for their own coverage through their employer's plan after their employment is terminated) can be expensive, and individual insurance policies may come at a higher cost or with different benefits."
The Expense That Catches Most Retirees Completely Off GuardWhile Lily Vittayarukskul, CEO and Co-Founder at Waterlily, says that many people underestimate healthcare costs, long-term care seems to be the one thing that throws retirees for a loop.
"Many families still assume it will be covered by Medicare, handled by Medicaid, or absorbed by family members," she says. "That is where the largest planning gap tends to be."
That's because Vittayarukskul says that long-term care is not just a medical expense. "It is a multi-year labor, housing, family, and cash-flow expense," she says. "It can involve help with bathing, dressing, meals, transportation, home care, assisted living or nursing home care."
When people leave it out of the plan, Vittayarukskul says they are not just underestimating a bill, they are underestimating who will provide the care, who will coordinate it, and whose career, savings or retirement may be disrupted.
The Numbers That Should Make Every Pre-Retiree Pay AttentionWhen it comes to the price you'll pay for overlooking these expenses, Vittayarukskul says it can add up. "For people retiring before Medicare eligibility, the pre-65 healthcare bridge can easily become a five-figure annual expense, especially if someone loses employer-subsidized coverage and has to pay for COBRA or individual market coverage," she says, adding that the risk is not only the monthly premium, but also deductibles, coinsurance, and the possibility of reaching an annual out-of-pocket maximum.
"Once someone is on Medicare, healthcare is still not free," Vittayarukskul says. "Fidelity’s 2025 retiree healthcare estimate found that a 65-year-old retiring in 2025 may need about $172,500 for healthcare and medical expenses throughout retirement, and that estimate does not include long-term care."
Long-term care can be even more financially disruptive, according to Vittayarukskul, because the costs can be high and recurring for years.
"Genworth/CareScout’s 2025 Cost of Care Survey reported national median annual costs of roughly $80,080 for in-home non-medical caregiver services based on 44 hours per week, $74,400 for assisted living, about $114,975 for a semi-private nursing home room, and about $129,575 for a private nursing home room."
What Experts Say You Should Do Right NowWant to ensure you're not blindsided by these costs in retirement? Nick Wolf, Wealth Advisor at Adams Wealth Partners, says a little preparation can go a long way. "The last thing I want for anyone is to wait until they are already retired to meet with a financial advisor, only to find out they need to go back to work because something was left out of their plan," he says. "If someone is eligible, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are a great way to accumulate funds pre-tax and take tax-free withdrawals when used for medical expenses—but again, the earlier you start funding these accounts, the better."
Wolf says that it's important to start having these conversations as soon as possible. "As soon as someone begins to seriously think about retirement, it’s time to start a dialogue with a professional to help avoid mistakes that could have been planned for in advance."

This summer, entertaining is in its coastal-core era, and it is showing up everywhere from TikTok tablescapes to backyard barbecues. The look is less about perfectly coordinated place settings and more about creating a table that feels collected, relaxed, and a little sun-washed. Citrus piled in ceramic bowls, mismatched glassware, and playful nautical details are all part of the mix, turning everyday meals into a quick escape to the Mediterranean.
If you’re looking to bring that beachy aesthetic into your home this season, the Beautiful by Drew Barrymore 12-Piece Bamboo Melamine Sardine Dinnerware Set at Walmart is an easy way to tap into the trend, especially while it's on sale during the Summer Deals event. Beautiful by Drew Barrymore 12-Piece Bamboo Melamine Sardine Dinnerware Set, $23 (was $27) at Walmart Shop at WalmartAcross the full set that shoppers say is “adorable” and “perfect for the summertime,” the 12 pieces include four dinner plates, four salad plates, and four cereal bowls, serving four people. The design is built around a navy blue and lush green palette that runs consistently across each piece, creating a unified look that feels intentional without being overly rigid. Scalloped edges across the collection introduce soft curves that break up the structure of the silhouettes.
The salad plates have the most details, with green woven-style painted borders that frame a central motif of three sardines rendered in vivid blue. Each fish is depicted with fine detailing in the scales, fins, and facial features, giving the artwork a textured, almost hand-rendered quality.
The cereal bowls continue the same visuals, with a matching scalloped edge and navy exterior, while the interior includes the inner squiggle detail and the phrase “Le Tre Sardine” written in cursive. The phrase translates to “the three sardines” in Italian and references a recurring motif tied to the designer’s personal symbolism, which has been carried into her broader home and tabletop collections.
Lightweight and easy to carry, it transitions easily from kitchen to patio, making it just as practical for indoor meals as it is for outdoor entertaining. The BPA-free bamboo melamine construction is designed to withstand everyday use while resisting cracking or shattering if accidentally dropped. Dishwasher-safe materials also help simplify cleanup after gatherings, offering an easy, low-maintenance option for frequent hosting.

'Love Island USA': KC and Corbin Trash Talk the Villa Girls in Casa Amor
Casa Amor is fully in action for Love Island USASeason 8. Relationships are being tested and some islanders are speaking their mind openly.
Corbin Mims was with Kenzie Annis, and KC Chandlerwas with Aniya Harvey before the split villas. Corbin and KC shockingly said things about their former partners that wouldn't play well on movie night. It'll also make their chances of winning the season harder.
Spoiler alert for Love Island USA Season 8 Episode 19!
KC Says the 'Love Island USA' Villa Girls Didn’t Understand His Powers KC Chandler in 'Love Island USA'KC felt a quick physical connection with Tierra "Titi" Davis. They kissed and cuddled after meeting. The nursing assistant revealed that he hasn't forgotten how his couple started.
"With Aniya, we were like, a couple by default, and you know we just talked," KC said in a confessional in episode 18. "But I can't compare apples to oranges, you know?"

Bryce Dettloff told KC as they got ready for bed that he seemed like a different man. "Honestly, I feel like the girls back in the villa, bro they [...] didn't really understand my powers and sh-t," he replied.
The next morning, he told Bryce and Sincere Rhea it would be sabotage if he didn't bring a woman back from Casa Amor. That's because he didn't explore Sol Dean after Aniya got upset.
Corbin Says the Casa Amor Girls Are Better Than the Villa Girls Kenzie Brooke Annis and Corbin Mims in 'Love Island USA'Kenzie was upset about Corbin's actions when he met the Casa Amor girls. She found her photos in a drawer she had left for him in episode 18.
The morning after they slept with the Casa girls, Corbin revealed to Zach Georgiou and Caleb McDaniel how he felt about Kenzie. "Even like with Kenzie, bro, it's like f---k," he said. "I don't know how I feel. I had some red flags that I wanted to bring up to her."

He claimed there wasn't any time to have that conversation. The business owner connected with Parmida Keshani, whom he had previously talked to on Instagram.
"I mean, I told Parmida. I was like, 'Listen, if you were there when I walked into that villa next to Kenzie and you, I would have pulled you for more chats and coupled up with your a--," Corbin told KC in episode 19.
"I feel the same, bro," KC replied. "I could really say the same thing." He then said he was more physically attracted to Titi. "And on top of that, she pursued me, bro," he added.
KC claimed his "stock" went up for when he returns to the villa. He explained he was done being put in a "box" and having kisses withheld if he didn't do what Aniya wanted.
"Not [going to] lie these Casa Amor girls are better than the villa girls," Corbin said in the confessional. "I don't know. It don't feel so cliquey. Everything feel just open and free. Maybe because it's something for us."
The comments might tank the men's chances for the season. Corbin and KC have little to no loyalty to the Casa Amor girls. It seems like they might bring Titi and Parmida back to the villa and they would need to survive a public vote to stay in the villa.
‘Gilmore Girls’ Has a New Streaming Home After It Leaves Netflix
After 12 years, Gilmore Girls is leaving Netflix. It was shocking news to everyone, but it also wasn’t too surprising with Warner Bros. looking to take back a lot of its bigger hits.
While the series is available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu right now, many suspected that it would head to HBO Max in July. After all, it’s a Warner Bros. series, and that’s what happened with Friends when it finally left Netflix.
That’s not the case. Instead, Warner Bros. has struck up a deal with another streaming platform. It turns out that Gilmore Girls will be available on Prime Video from July 1, 2026. There isn’t going to be a break when it comes to rewatching the show, and there’s no need to get Hulu if you don’t already have it. Most people have Prime Video, as they’ll have Amazon Prime for shopping!
You will not need to buy the episodes, either, as is the case right now. The episodes will be available to stream with your Prime Video subscription. This is not the first time Prime Video has landed the rights to the series, as it was available at the end of September 2025, but it’s the first time since Netflix lost those rights.
This is only for the seven seasons of the main series. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will remain on Netflix for the time being. That is set to depart the platform in November, and it’s possible that it could go to a bidding war. It would be nice to head to Prime Video if that’s where the series is still available to stream at that point.
The move to Prime Video is on the down low right now. We found out thanks to an insider reaching out. The full July listings for Prime Video haven’t been released to the press just yet, so it’s exciting news to get it so early.
Fans will be able to keep watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix through June 30, and then on July 1 switch over to Prime Video. Hulu looks set to keep the series as well, so this is still a non-exclusive agreement. To watch it on Disney+, you will need to have the Hulu and Disney+ bundle.
This is only in the U.S. Internationally, Gilmore Girls will remain on Netflix for the time being.
