Here’s Why PGA Championship Winner Aaron Rai’s Pro Golfer Wife Says She ‘Married a Rockstar’
He may not have the superstar status of other pros like Scottie SchefflerorRory McIlroy. But the new PGA Championship winner, Aaron Rai, is a rockstar. At least in his wife’s eyes! The Brit isn’t just the winner of this major PGA tournament. He’s the first English-born golfer to take the title in more than a century.
Who Is Aaron Rai? NEWTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA - MAY 17: Aaron Rai of England prepares to play a shot on the ninth hole during the final round of the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club on May 17, 2026 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images)The 31-year-old golfer was born in Wolverhampton, England, on March 3, 1995. He went pro in 2012 and now lives in Jacksonville, Florida. Rai’s father, Amrik Singh, is the son of Indian immigrants, and his mother, Dalvir Shukla, is originally from Kenya.
Rai is known for a few somewhat unconventional golf habits: The GPA pro wears two gloves and keeps the covers on his irons. Reportedly, Rai started wearing gloves to keep his hands warm while practicing in the chilly winter weather, and continues to cover his clubs as a reminder of where he came from.
According to fellow players, Rai is well-liked, well-respected, and deserves this win. Rory McIlroy told the PGA, “You won’t find one person on this property who’s not happy for him,” and Xander Schauffele called him an ”All-world gentleman, no doubt.”
Who Is Aaron Rai’s Wife? (Photo by Darren Carroll/PGA of America via Getty Images)Aaron isn’t the only golfer in the family. His wife, Gaurika Bishnoi, is also a professional. Bishnoi has eight wins in India’s Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour and went viral for her Masters’ swing during the tournament’s Par 3 Contest.
Why Did Gaurika Bishnoi Call Aaron Rai a ‘Rockstar’?There’s a long history of rock stars signing their fans’ t-shirts (and other things). But musicians aren’t the only celebs asked for an autograph. During the 2026 PGA Championship, Rai was photographed signing a baby’s onesie! Bishnoi later posted the pic on her Instagram Stories, adding the caption, “Married a rockstar.”
View this post on InstagramAs it turns out, the feeling is mutual. In a post-win interview, Rai said of his wife, “She’s been incredible. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I wouldn’t be here without her, both as a companion, as a friend, as someone I’m sharing my life with, but also as a real support system for my game.” He continued, “She’s a professional golfer, so her mindset, her advice, her thoughts when she looks at whether that’s technique, whether that’s the way I’m holding myself, are absolutely invaluable.”
’80s Rock Band, With Classic No. 1 Hit, Ranked Among 'Best Supergroups' of All Time
In 1981, a legendary British rock band was born in London and eventually became one of the best supergroups ever formed.
Asia, the band that comprises members from three notable bands from the progressive rock scene of the ’70s, delivered chart-topping hits and top-selling albums.
The original lineup featured lead vocalist and bassist John Wetton from King Crimson, Roxy Music and U.K., guitarist Steve Howe from the famed band Yes, keyboardist Geoff Downes from The Buggles and Yes and drummer Carl Palmer from Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
Amid the rise of new wave, arena rock and hair metal, Asia kept the progressive rock scene alive by blending it with radio-friendly and arena-ready pop-rock hooks that made the band stand out.
Decades after their debut, Asia joined a slew of great talents, completing the top 23 list of the greatest rock supergroups of all time as cited by BBC Music.

Ranking at No. 3, the quartet was accompanied on the list by fellow supergroups like the Canadian folk-rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young at No. 2 and ‘70s prog-rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, which topped the rankings.
What Was Asia's Biggest Hit?With the release of their self-titled debut album, Asia, in 1982, the band immediately stole the spotlight after launching their lead single "Heat of the Moment.”
Written by Wetton and Downes, the track took the music world by storm after peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking their highest placement on the U.S. singles chart.
The song eventually reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock / Top Tracks chart, securing the spot for six non-consecutive weeks.
Beyond its popularity in the U.S., "Heat of the Moment” also took over the U.K. airwaves, entering at No. 73 and eventually climbing to No. 44, almost making it to the Top 40 chart.
While the track became the band’s signature hit, Downes previously revealed that it almost didn't make it onto their debut album.
“It was an afterthought,” he told Prog in an interview, as cited by Louder. “We were going to lead off with ‘Only Time Will Tell,’ but the label said, ‘Do you have anything else?’ So John [Wetton] and I came up with ‘Heat of the Moment’ in one morning. Literally, the bones of the song were written in maybe a couple of hours.”
Thankfully, they decided to include it, as the song became their ticket to breakthrough success.

1975 Hit, Banned By Some Radio Stations, Ranked Among Best Rock Songs of All Time
In 1975, a song built on soft disco beats and breathy vocals pushed boundaries so far that some radio stations refused to play it. That track, “Love to Love You Baby” by American singer Donna Summer, later became one of the most talked-about and influential recordings in music history.
Despite early bans and controversy, it grew into a global hit and is now recognized as one of the songs that helped shape modern rock and dance music.
The song was released during a time when disco was still finding its place in mainstream music. It quickly stood out not just for its sound, but for its long runtime and sensual vocal style, which some broadcasters considered too explicit for airplay.

Even with limited radio support in certain areas, the record gained momentum through clubs and word of mouth, eventually becoming a major international success.
“Love to Love You Baby” was released from Summer’s 1975 album of the same name. It was produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, who helped shape its electronic disco sound. The song was also co-written by Summer herself, marking an important moment in her early career development.
At over 16 minutes long in its full album version, the track broke traditional radio rules. Most stations preferred short songs under four minutes. This one went far beyond that. It was later edited for radio play, but even the shortened versions still carried the same bold sound and suggestive vocal delivery.
The song’s production used slow, looping beats, layered guitars and early synthesizer work. These elements later became a blueprint for future disco and electronic music. Because of its length and style, some radio stations refused to play it at all, while others only aired edited versions.
Even with restrictions, the song performed strongly on the charts. In the United States, it reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at No. 1 on dance charts for multiple weeks. It also became Summer’s first major crossover hit, reaching pop, soul and club audiences at the same time.
The controversy surrounding “Love to Love You Baby” came mostly from its vocal performance. The track featured sensual vocalizations that some broadcasters at the time considered too provocative for mainstream radio. As a result, parts of the United States and Europe limited or rejected its airplay.
Despite that, the song continued to grow in popularity through dance clubs, where DJs played the extended version in full. This helped shape the rise of disco culture, where long-form tracks became the standard for nightlife music.
Its influence extended far beyond disco. The song was later named by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll, placing it alongside major rock and pop recordings that changed music history.
Music historians also point out that the track helped push the idea of the extended single format, which became important for 12-inch vinyl releases in later years. This format became a key part of DJ culture in the late 1970s and 1980s.
Donna Summer later became one of the most successful disco artists of her era, but this song remained her breakthrough moment. It showed how a controversial track could still succeed commercially and influence global music trends at the same time.

Bob Saget's Widow Kelly Rizzo Pens Emotional Tribute on What Would Have Been His 70th Birthday
Bob Saget's widow, Kelly Rizzo, penned an emotional tribute, including a personal video, to her late husband on what would have been the Full House star's 70th birthday.
On Sunday, May 17, Rizzo, 46, took to Instagram to mark Saget's big day. The actor behind the iconic TV dad, Danny Tanner, died suddenly at 65 at an Orlando, Fla., hotel room in 2022. His cause of death was blunt head trauma after suffering a fall.
"Happy heavenly 70th birthday. Wow… 70," Rizzo began her length update. "I always think about what Bob would be doing and what he’d be like if he were still here. First of all, he would absolutely want everyone to know he was the youngest-looking, youngest-feeling, and youngest-acting 70-year-old on the planet. (1000% true) And he’d still be going full steam ahead."
The widow went on to explain that Saget "didn't believe in retirement" and that his "greatest joy right now would've been being a grandpa."
"It would be so fun to watch him still out there absolutely killing it in the comedy world," Rizzo pointed out. "... And while my mantra since losing Bob has always been that I wasn’t robbed, because I’m so lucky I got to experience the gift of him for six beautiful years… damn, I really do wish we all got to see what he’d be doing today."
To conclude her birthday tribute, Rizzo declared, "We love you, we miss you, Bob. And we’re so excited to celebrate you today and every day. And I am so honored to continue to share all the Bob love."

The series will feature 100 home cooks from across the country competing through a seven-week elimination gauntlet for a chance to win up to $250,000 and be crowned America’s best home cook.
Joining Crews at the judges’ table are culinary creator Nick DiGiovanni and Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli, who will evaluate contestants through a series of unpredictable cooking battles.

Future episodes will include food trivia contests, bake sale bake-offs, spicy weeknight dinner battles and one-pot cooking challenges before the competition narrows down to the final eight cooks in the July 19 finale.
“Thousands of people applied to compete on 100 Cooks and along with Terry, Nick and Alex, we were amazed at the passion and skill they brought to the table,” Food Network president Betsy Ayala said. “The 100 cooks chosen blew us away.”

1977 Soft Rock Classic From One-Hit Wonder Became a No. 1 Hit
In 1977, a whimsical soft rock song about romance and fantasy unexpectedly soared to the top of the charts.
"Undercover Angel" by Alan O'Day became a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, turning O'Day into one of the era's defining one-hit wonders.
With its catchy melody, layered harmonies and dreamy storytelling, the song stood out immediately on 1970s radio. The lyrics follow a narrator haunted, in a playful, romantic sense, by a mysterious "angel" figure who appears in his dreams and imagination.
The track's unusual concept helped separate it from many other soft rock hits of the time, blending pop accessibility with a slightly quirky sense of humor and fantasy.
"'Undercover Angel' started with the title," O'Day told Classic Bands."I love the word 'undercover.' Looking back on it, I think the word angel was invoked because of Charlie's Angels, the TV show, but I didn't really know that then. I just put the two words together and I loved what it said and I've got to write a song 'Undercover Angel."
Before his breakthrough as a performer, O'Day had already built a successful career behind the scenes as a songwriter. He wrote songs for major artists and was respected within the music industry long before "Undercover Angel" made him a star in his own right.
The song's success came during the height of the soft rock era, when melodic, radio-friendly songs dominated mainstream pop charts. "Undercover Angel" fit perfectly into that landscape while still feeling distinctively eccentric.
Its massive popularity helped push the single all the way to No. 1, making it the biggest hit of O'Day's career.
Although he never replicated that level of chart success afterward, the song endured thanks to its instantly recognizable chorus and nostalgic 1970s sound.
Over the decades, "Undercover Angel" became closely associated with the one-hit wonder phenomenon, a category that often includes songs memorable enough to outlast entire careers.
"'Undercover Angel' is kind of a corny song, and it's kind of a sexy song, and it's kind of an infantile song, and it sold two million copies," O'Day said in a 2010 interview. "I think it's a good song, and I am proud of its success. It was banned in Peoria, Illinois, as being too sexual, and I've always worn that as a badge of pride."
Still, the track's longevity speaks for itself.
Nearly 50 years later, "Undercover Angel" remains a beloved soft rock staple and a reminder of an era when quirky, melodic storytelling could still dominate mainstream radio.

This Daytime Emmy-Winning Soap Star Breaks Silence on 'General Hospital' Exit Rumors
For weeks, speculation has been growing that Daytime Emmy winner Rick Hearst would be leaving his role on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. The actor has finally addressed the rumors directly on social media.
Hearst took to Instagram with a screenshot from a Google search result that claimed “the actor revealed” he would be departing the ABC daytime drama. “I hate the internet,” he plastered across the search result.
View this post on InstagramHe then continued in the comment section, describing the rumors as completely false.
After an 8-year absence, Hearst reprised his role as Ric Lansing on the popular soap opera on August 22, 2024, and has continued to air ever since.
Fans took to the comment section to share their reaction to this confirmation. One user shared, “Thank Goodness!! I hope you stay for a long time!! I’m loving you and Liz together, and I hope it continues like that! As well as your brotherly relationship with Sonny! You two as a team are awesome!! ♥️♥️♥️”

A third acknowledged how some fans of the soap opera will just spread pointless rumors, “People have nothing else better to do than make up a false narrative! We love you on GH Ric. I’m glad to have you back. I can’t wait for your next event.”
Hearst originated the role on November 8, 2002, and was quickly revealed to be the half-brother of mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Throughout various twists and turns, he found love with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Viewers are currently watching how Ric navigates these relationships in a modern day, 24 years after his arrival.

1986 Film That Turned a ’60s Soul Hit Into an ’80s Teen Anthem Ranked Among Best Rock Movies
Pretty in Pink is a John Hughes essential crafted from two of his legendary trademarks: unforgettable characters and an even better soundtrack. Released in 1986, the teen rom-com blends synth-pop, new-wave energy and soulful classics in a way that helped define an entire era of coming-of-age movies. So much so thatUltimate Classic Rock saw the film worthy of an “honorable mention” in its list of best rock movies for every decade.
After the outlet named Ferris Bueller’s Day Off the best rock movie of 1986, it shared some love for the film starring Molly Ringwald, Andrew McCarthy, Jon Cryer, and more, writing, “Where to begin with the others for 1986? Let's start with another Hughes classic, Pretty in Pink, with a soundtrack filled with synth-pop (OMD's ‘If You Leave’ becoming the breakout hit).”
Written for the film at the request of Hughes, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark’s “If You Leave” underscores the film's iconic prom scene and emotional final moments. The song is the perfect climactic choice for a star-crossed teen romance about a working-class girl (Ringwald), her wealthy boyfriend (McCarthy), and the oddball (Cryer) who gets left behind.
Another iconic scene — easily our favorite — comes way earlier in the film when Cryer’s Duckie breaks into an incredibly theatrical lip-synched rendition of “Try a Little Tenderness” — originally written in the 1930s but made famous by Otis Redding in 1966. Of course, Redding needs zero help cementing any sort of legacy, but the wildly entertaining scene solidified his song as an ’80s teen anthem and a fixture in modern pop culture.
Choreographed by Kenny Ortega, the music-and-dance scene also caused renewed interest in the soul classic, with younger generations discovering it for the first time. The soundtrack itself — also featuring Psychedelic Furs, INXS, and New Order — shot to No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and was reissued on pink vinyl in March to celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary.
View this post on Instagram“It was a very strong soundtrack, and we were in great company, without a shadow of a doubt,” Peter Hook of New Order told SPIN.
The outlet added that Hughes mentioned his film’s music in the liner notes, writing, “The music in Pretty in Pink was not an afterthought. The tracks on this album and in this film are there because [director] Howie Deutch and I believe in the artists, respect the artists, and are proud to be in league with them.”
Pretty in Pink is available to rent or buy on Prime Video.
Why 'Outlander' Showrunner Refuses to Explain That Jamie and Claire Ending
Wrapping up a successful TV show is a tough task because of how invested fans become. Outlander's showrunner, Matthew B. Roberts, knows the ending isn't clear and revealed why he refuses to explain it.

Season 8 ended with Jamie (Sam Heughan) preparing to die in the Battle of Kings Mountain. He gets brutally injured, and Claire (Caitríona Balfe) stays with him all night. Roger (Richard Rankin) tells her it's time to bury him. She closes her eyes and lies next to him.
The final scene shows Claire and Jamie's eyes opening. Are they dead or are they alive? Fans shouldn't go to Roberts, 56, for answers. He told Variety that he knows exactly what happened but will not share.

"If I say definitively, ‘This is what you should take from it,’ then I think that diminishes your experience," the showrunner said. "I don’t want to do that to the fans. They’ve earned their right to make up their own minds about what that is."
The ending being vague worked for some viewers. "I’m not mad at how it ended," a fan wrote in a Reddit thread about the finale. "They for sure set it up for a we’re coming back in the future. Would not be surprised if they didn’t do more at some point."
"That’s definitely how I see it too. Such a good way to set up a movie or something to continue the story," another commenter agreed.
One fan had a theory that the show's ending had to do with author Diana Gabaldon needing to release the final book. "I sort of feel like, while it set it up for something in the future, they gave Diana the ending," a fan wrote. "It was inconclusive logically but gave the emotional truth that their love transcends time and they are always with each other. But it really feels like honoring her by saying, if you want to know how it ends, read the books."
The tenth and final book, A Blessing For A Warrior Going Out, still needs to be released. However, the author was consulted to help with the series' finale.

This Iconic 1986 Drama Filmed Two Secret Alternate Cliffhanger Endings That Would Have Changed TV History
40 years ago, Dallas aired one of the most shocking plot twists in television history. Now, actor Patrick Duffy has opened up about two alternative scenes that were filmed; if used, they would’ve sent the series down a very different direction.
During the season 9 finale of Dallas in 1986, after a year away from the series, Duffy appeared as a much alive Bobby Ewing, having been killed off only a year prior.
Reflecting on the way the series kept the cliffhanger a secret, one fan wrote on X, "They pulled it off without it getting leaked. You know the producers were high-fiving themselves in the office for getting away with it."
Duffy has now revealed to The Television Academy that one way the show accomplished this feat was by filming two alternative scenes for his return.
The first showed Duffy in a hospital bed, with bandages removed. “I open up a mirror and say, ‘That’s perfect.’”
The second alternative scene had Duffy walking into the Southfork Ranch living room, with no one around. He looks throughout the house and says, ‘They're not gonna believe this.’”
Duffy added that if those options were utilized, it was likely going to be Bobby’s twin brother or doppelgänger. “Then, we did the shower scene.”
The shower scene aired, and the following season explained that the events of the previous season had been Bobby’s wife, Pam's (Victoria Principal), dream, allowing the series to continue as if nothing had happened.
While the revelation that Season 9 was “all a dream” would be controversial amongst fans, it ultimately proved to be a successful storyline for the series, as Dallas would continue for five additional seasons before coming to a close in 1991.
The series would then continue two decades later, for TNT, airing for an additional three seasons before once again coming to a close.
Would you have liked to see one of the alternatives utilized? Or do you think that the "dream" twist was for the best? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
Dallas is available for streaming on all major VOD platforms.

She added that duty calls as she is set to serve as Maid of Honor.
“I’m out of the country this week on MOH duty to get my bestie married.”

26 Years Ago, This Beloved Couple Tied the Knot in the Iconic Series Finale of 'Beverly Hills 90210'
Donna Martin and David Silver are two of the most popular characters from the classic late-1990s/early-2000s drama Beverly Hills 90210. While the evening soap opera’s initial premise centered around a group of ultra-rich friends (and their two brand-new BFFs, Midwest twins Brenda and Brandon Walsh) who attended fictional West Beverly High, as the seasons progressed, the characters transitioned from entitled teens to young adults.
All good things must come to an end. But some ends, like this one, are actually beginnings. On May 17, 2000, Season 10, Episode 27 of 90210, “Ode to Joy” aired. In the series finale, fan-favorites Donna (played by Tori Spelling) and David (played by Brian Austin Green) make their on-and-off-again romance official, tying the knot in front of family and friends.

Left to right: Ian Ziering, Tori Spelling, Shannen Doherty, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Gabrielle Carteris and Luke Perry. (Photo by Mark Sennet/Getty Images) Donna and David’s ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ Relationship TimelineThe couple’s love story started way back in the West Beverly days. As the kind-of-kooky sidekick, Donna Martin didn’t have much of a storyline to speak of in the early 90210 days. Reportedly, Spelling, the daughter of show producer Aaron Spelling, used a fake last name to avoid nepo baby accusations when she initially auditioned (for the part of Kelly Taylor). Obviously, Tori lost out to actress Jennie Garth, but did get the Donna Martin conciliation prize.
Even though Donna was originally a minor background character, she grew into a regular and eventually started dating David Silver. The couple stays together after graduation, but things get rocky when David cheats on Donna with music rep Ariel Hunter in Season 4. She goes on to date musician Ray Pruitt, but breaks things off after he becomes emotionally and physically abusive. And then there were more, including football player Joe Bradley and Noah Hunter. But again (this time with Noah), she becomes the victim of infidelity. After Noah sleeps with Donna’s cousin, Gina Kincaid, the pair splits, and she finds her way back to David before the series wraps.
The ‘90210’ Wedding and Series Finale“Ode to Joy” may have ended the series, but it also marks the start of David and Donna’s relationship as husband and wife. The emotional episode features the wedding of the couple’s dreams in front of their nearest and dearest.
Along with the remaining core group of friends (Kelly Taylor, Stever Sanders, Janet Sosna, Dylan McKay, and Noah Hunter), returning 90210 alums Andrea Zuckerman and Valerie Malone attended the tear-filled wedding with Donna’s mother (Felice), David’s dad (Mel), Kelly and David’s little sister (Erin), and Nat (who walked Donna down the aisle). Principal Yvonne Teasley (played by actress Denise Dowse) also made a special guest appearance.
In the final scene, the group gets down at the reception, dancing to Kool & The Gang’s classic, “Celebration.”
What Did Fans Think of the ‘90210’ Series Finale? The reviews were mixed. In a lookback, users on the Beverly Hills 90210 subredditpanned the series finale, writing comments such as “Donna marrying David in the end was lazy and contrived” and “They should have let Brandon and Kelly marry at the end of the show that season.”
Of course, some fans saw a happy ending for the pair and applauded the couple’s nuptials, writing, “I loved them together. Get ready for some major nostalgia…because if Donna and David hadn’t separated (the pair parted ways in the spinoff series), they would have celebrated their 26th anniversary this May!
Who’s Leaving 'SNL' After Season 51?
Saturday Night Live aired its final episode of Season 51 on May 16, with Will Ferrell hosting and Paul McCartney offering an unexpected three-song performance. As the curtain closed on this season without any cast goodbyes during the finale, fans are left wondering what they can expect for Season 52.
Who will be leaving SNL?SNL’s Season 51 cast included returners such as Michael Che, Colin Jost, Marcello Hernández and Ashley Padilla, among others. The season also introduced five newcomers: Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Veronika Slowikowska, Ben Marshall and Kam Patterson.
Bowen Yang also returned for his seventh season, but left the show on December 20 after Ariana Grande’s episode. However, he was the only departure during Season 51. According to Deadline, there seems to be no current talk of other departures ahead of Season 52.
“Decisions on cast changes will be made over the summer, with some potentially coming sooner rather than later,” Nellie Andreeva reported for Deadline. “Like last year, I hear there has been little or no internal discussions about potential departures.”
Andreeva predicts that there will be some changes for the 16-member cast, including a potential promotion for Padilla. As a second-year featured player, Andreeva believes that she will be receiving an upgrade in the new season.
“While not as slam-dunk as Padilla, fellow second-year featured player Jane Wickline also has made a case to continue, which, if happens, would come with a main cast promotion,” Andreeva said.
View this post on Instagram When will SNL return?Season 51 of SNL featured hosts like Jack Black, Sabrina Carpenter, Nikki Glaser and more. In an exclusive interview with Variety, SNL newbies Marshall and Culhane described the season as “fresh” and “fantastic.”
While an official return date for Season 52 hasn’t been announced, NBC said that the series is scheduled to return in the fall. In the meantime, all episodes of Season 51 are available to watch on Peacock.
Color Psychologist Says if Your Favorite Color Is Green, You Likely Have These 7 Traits
Growing up, you may have wished to have an entire box of Crayola crayons in green hues. Perhaps your favorite holiday is St. Patrick's Day—and you're not even Irish, you just adore green. It turns out, your favorite color is about so much more than what you love to color with and wear. It can get to the core of who you are.
"Color preference is shaped by a combination of who you are and what you've lived through," explains Michelle Lewis, a color psychology expert, certified color analyst, author and the founder of ColorAnalysis.com and The Color Institute. "Someone might love green because they're naturally nurturing and grounded—or because they grew up in a chaotic environment and spent years seeking the stability and calm that green represents. Both are true, and both are valid."
For Lewis, this reflection of a person's personality and history is what makes color preference such a fascinating window into someone. Still, she says it's important not to wrap your entire identity around what your favorite colors are. Plus, remember, your go-to hue choices aren't set in stone.
"Personality is always evolving, and so is color preference," Lewis points out. "The color that resonated with you at 25 might not be the same one you reach for at 45, and that shift itself tells you something."
She always encourages people to stay curious about color to support their needs and stay curious about their preferences. Speaking of curious, it's interesting to learn what it can mean if you love green? Lewis says that if your favorite color is green, you likely have these seven traits.

What Is Color Psychology?"Color psychology is the study of how color affects human behavior, emotion and decision-making," Lewis says.
She adds that color psychology is the science behind why certain colors make you feel calm, energized or on edge—often before you consciously register what you're looking at.
"Color is processed by the brain before language, which means it's one of the most primal and powerful communication tools we have," she tells Parade.
Lewis has spent her career studying and applying color psychology across industries, including fashion, interiors, branding, healthcare and education. The impact is universal, she says.
"Color is the one language every human being on the planet speaks, whether they realize it or not," she explains.
What Is the Personality of People Who Love Green?Olga Pankova/Getty Images
Lewis describes people who gravitate toward green as the "steady center of their social world."
"They're warm, grounded and deeply caring—the kind of people others naturally lean on because they create a sense of stability and safety wherever they go," she explains. "They tend to love nature, fresh ingredients, open spaces and anything that feels alive and regenerative."
If you love green, you wouldn't have to color Lewis surprised if she learned your circle considered you the "responsible one." You're also more likely to be the one people call when they need support.

What Is the Psychology of Loving Green?Lewis calls green the color of balance, regeneration, independence and open-heartedness.
"It sits at the center of the visible spectrum, which is no accident—it's inherently a color of equilibrium," she says. "People drawn to green are seeking and creating that same equilibrium in their lives. They're not chasing extremes; they're building something sustainable."
Green also represents growth in nature and personality.
"Green lovers tend to be the people who quietly but consistently evolve, both personally and in how they care for the people around them," she tells Parade.
7 Traits of People Whose Favorite Color Is Green, According to a Color Psychologist1. Deeply nurturingLewis calls green lovers natural caretakers.
"They're attuned to the emotional temperature of any room and instinctively move to support whoever needs it most," she states. "Caring for others isn't a burden to them. It's how they express love."
2. Highly dependableGhosting is not a thing for people whose favorite color is green.
"If a green lover says they'll show up, they show up," Lewis tells Parade. "Their reliability is one of their most defining qualities, and the people in their lives count on it completely. They take their commitments seriously because their word matters to them."
3. Naturally groundedThe grass is always greener to some people, but not to people who actually love green. They're not the type to bolt if something gets hard or a better opportunity comes along.
"Green personalities don't get swept up easily in chaos or drama," Lewis says. "They have an innate steadiness that keeps them—and everyone around them—anchored, even in turbulent moments."

4. Environmentally connectedThis one is likely unsurprising given the amount of green space natural settings feature.
"People who love green are almost always drawn to nature in some form—whether that's gardening, hiking, cooking with fresh ingredients or incorporating plants into every space they inhabit," Lewis explains. "The natural world genuinely restores them."

5. Emotionally perceptivePeople who are drawn to green know how to read the room—and body language.
"Green lovers are usually the first to notice when something is off with someone they love—often before that person has said a word or has even realized it themselves," Lewis says. "Their emotional radar is finely tuned, and they take what they sense very seriously."
6. Peace-seekingOne of green personalities' biggest cravings is harmony. Lewis says they'll work hard to maintain it.
"They're not conflict-avoiders out of fear—they genuinely prefer environments where things feel balanced, and everyone is OK," she says. "They'll work quietly and consistently to restore peace when it's been disrupted."
7. Holistically minded"Green lovers tend to be drawn to natural healing, whole living and integrative approaches to wellness," Lewis points out.
She says people who like green are often big into essential oils, herbs, farmers' markets and anything else that "honors the whole person," rather than just the symptom.
"There's a reason so much of the wellness world lives in green," she explains.

3 Potential Challenges Faced by People Who Love Green1. Difficulty putting themselves firstAs natural caretakers and green lovers, they prioritize others' needs. In moderation, that's not a bad trait, but it can drain a green personality if they become a human giving tree.
"Green lovers are so oriented toward the needs of others that their own needs often end up last on the list," Lewis says. "They give and give—sometimes to the point of depletion—without realizing they've been running on empty for a long time."
2. Absorbing others' stressEmotional awareness can help build meaningful relationships, but it can also compound stress.
"Because they're so emotionally perceptive, green personalities can take on the energy of the people around them without meaning to," Lewis explains. "When someone they love is struggling, green lovers feel it deeply—sometimes more deeply than is healthy for them."
3. Resistance to changeStability can turn into rigidity that blocks a growth mindset, which is ironic given that we often associate green with growth.
"Green is the color of stability, and the people drawn to it can sometimes hold on too tightly to what's familiar," Lewis states. "Their love of consistency is a strength, but it can make transitions—even positive ones—harder than they need to be."
Final TakeawaysColor psychology studies how color affects our behavior, emotion and decision-making. It explains why certain colors, like green, make us feel a certain way—calm, balanced, on edge and more. Color preferences aren't random, so if you love green, it can reveal something about the core of you. Here's what to keep in mind:
- Green is the color of equilibrium. Lewis says it sits at the center of the color spectrum, so it's no surprise that green represents balance, regeneration, independence and open-heartedness.
- Green lovers have specific traits. People who consider green their favorite color are often naturally grounded, deeply nurturing, emotionally perceptive and peace-seeking.
- People who love green face certain challenges. Green lovers can find it hard to put themselves first, absorb others' stress and struggle with transitions because of their nurturing, people-first and stability-centered natures.
