Donald Trump Just Posted a Pic of Himself as James Bond, and 007 Fans Have Something To Say About It
Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig…and Donald Trump? It’s certainly not the first AI image that POTUS has shared. But a recent X post from the official White House account featuring the Commander-in-Chief in a poster-like pic holding a gun in silhouette, à la 007, has people talking (and a few mocking).
If you’re wondering what Trump has to do with James Bond, it appears the post is a response to the search for a new 007. In a recent statement, Amazon MGM Studios announced that auditions have begun, revealing, “While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”
The newest Bond film is the 26th installment of the series and will feature a script by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. Produced by Amy Pascal and David Heyman, Dune’s Denis Villeneuve, is set to direct. While fans have speculated superstars such as Idris Elba, Callum Turner, and Jacob Elordi could snag the coveted role, the studio is staying hush-hush about the auditions.
Of course, the AI-generated movie poster, which features the ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan above ‘007,’ isn’t actually building a case for a Trumpy Bond. After all, as one commenter points out, “You do know Bond is a British spy?” And that would make it more than a conflict of interest for the President.
So what does the public think about the pic? Critics took aim at the President and the White House’s…somewhat problematic messaging. One commenter replied on X, “There’s literally not a single positive comment,” and another added, “Trump as James Bond would be wild: walks into a villain lair, immediately announces ‘great conversation, very productive’ gives the villain a 10-day extension, a 2nd extension, and probably a golf invite, and by the end credits he’s still very close to a deal.”
The comments weren’t the only way X users got creative. Some shared their own AI images, including a mock Nosferatu “The Last Term” poster and several memes referencing Trump’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein. One even added a burger to the Trump-as-Bond design, with the title, “The Man With the Golden Bun.”
The comments didn’t stop at the X post. Critics also flocked to other social media sites, such as Reddit. Cynics on the “entertainment” subreddit posted, “Yeah, From Russia with Love, indeed”, “James Bond/007 isn’t American (or real)...You couldn’t think of one cool American”, and “He’s the bad guy 007 fights right?”
'Sex and the City' Actor Deemed Series' 'Best Boyfriend' Turns 62
Fans of HBO's Sex and the City have long debated about who was the best boyfriend to the core four characters of the show. Steve Brady, the lovable, down-to-earth bartender was the perfect match to balance out Type A Miranda Hobbs, making him an instant fan favorite upon his first appearance in season two. Actor David Eigenberg, best known for the role, turned 62 on May 17th, 2026.
Before heading to Hollywood to try his hand at acting, Eigenberg enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1982 to 1986. Once he started acting he had small roles in shows like ER, King of Queens, and Ghost Whisperer. But it was his role as Miranda Hobbs' "on again off again" boyfriend that made him most known to viewers.
At 62, Eigenberg has continued to play Steve in both Sex and the City movies and the now canceled spin-off, And Just Like That... His own hearing loss inspired Steve's hearing loss in later iterations of the franchise.
Steve Brady appeared just behind the character of Mr. Big for most consistent boyfriend on the series, so fans really got to know the ins and outs of the character. While he's not perfect and has flaws, he's praised for being "relentlessly positive, supportive, reliable and, devoted" to Miranda and fans of the show love how "he's in touch with his feelings more than most men, and he's uncynical." Vogue even called him "only truly good guy in the SATC extended universe."

9 Common Phrases People Think Sound Confident, but Actually Sound Arrogant, Psychologist Reveals
Having confidence and coming across as confident can be useful in many scenarios. For example, maybe you’re interviewing for a job you really want and know you need to “talk yourself up.” Maybe you’re working to build better self-esteem or overcome self-doubt, and speaking positively about yourself helps you get there. Maybe you feel like you need to “prove yourself” at work among more experienced colleagues, or want to appear self-assured on a first date. Or perhaps it’s not about you: You’re speaking highly of your child to boost your child’s confidence.
Confident people typically do certain things in conversations—and some might surprise you—such as asking open-ended questions, smiling, shortening their sentences and speaking authentically. Creating habits like those is a helpful start on your journey. It can also make you more likeable and help you have more faith in yourself.
However, and unfortunately, there can be a thin line between self-assuredness and appearing conceited. Several common phrases may sound good to you, but can actually come across as obnoxious to others (and have the opposite effect than the one you want). Ahead, a psychologist shares nine common “confident” phrases that actually sound arrogant and ways to be bold and composed without being rude.

What’s the Difference Between Confidence and Arrogance?mediaphotos/Getty Images
To be mindful of this difference, remember the two Bs: “boasting” and “better than.”
“Confidence is a solid sense of self that does not boast about self to try and make others look ‘less than,’” says Dr. Brandy Smith, PhD, a licensed psychologist with Thriveworks in Birmingham, AL. “Arrogance carries a sense of ‘better than’ with it and often has a slimy feel connected to it.”
She shares some of the psychology behind the two and how they differ.
“Someone who is confident is secure within [themselves] and does not feel inclined to need to talk often about ‘how great’ they are, whereas someone who is arrogant is actually insecure while making comments in an attempt to ‘show’ others ‘how great’ they are,” she explains.

9 Common Phrases People Think Sound Confident, but Actually Sound Arrogant, According to a PsychologistCertain phrases (that you’ve probably heard before) come across as arrogant, even when they're meant as confident. Dr. Smith shares and explains nine examples.
1. “I know best what to do”You may very well have lots of knowledge and experience in a certain area, but how you communicate that matters. The word “best” is the problem here, Dr. Smith says, and it would be worse if paired with “always,” like “I always know what’s best to do.”
“I am not saying to never use this phrase, but be mindful of when you use it and how it can come across,” she continues. “A better alternative would be, ‘I have a good idea for us to try.’” Feel the difference?
2. “If they had just asked me/come to me, they wouldn’t have had any problems”This phrase presents you as a “savior” or all-knowing.
“This implies that you are the one who needs to be involved for things to run smoothly,” Dr. Smith says. “It has a ‘know-it-all’ feel that is problematic.”
3. “I don’t make mistakes”This one just isn’t true, and it comes across as “better than.”
“Someone who cannot see or acknowledge to self or others that they sometimes make mistakes is lying to self and/or others,” Dr. Smith says.
4. “I always know what to do”Again, this phrase uses “always,” presents the speaker as perfect and shows them “not acknowledging their humanness,” according to Dr. Smith.
“It may be true that you have always figured out how to handle things, but saying it as the example suggests carries an air of arrogance that is unneeded,” she explains.
5. “Nobody can say no to me”Rather than persuasive, this comes across as braggy.
“There are other, better ways to communicate that quality if a person wants to highlight it,” Dr. Smith adds.
6. “Everybody wants me”Dr. Smith clarifies that saying this with a certain tone can pass as playful, but you’re still walking a thin line.
“Without that tone, it sounds conceited, and ultimately it connects to insecurity the person is overcompensating for,” she says.
Related: 11 Subtle Signs of Narcissism That Are Easy to Miss, According to Psychologists
7. “You don’t know that?!”Most, if not all, of us have had that moment when we’re shocked someone hasn’t heard a certain fact or phrase. However, responding this way can come across as arrogant and condescending.
“A person may genuinely be surprised that someone does not know something, but anyone would be hard-pressed to say this phrase in a way that does not come across as problematic,” Dr. Smith says.
8. “I get what I want”This phrase is similar to and different from the earlier one, “No one can say no to me.”
“In this phrase, it more directly taps into the perceived power the person wants to be viewed as having to make things happen the way they want,” Dr. Smith explains.
9. “Girls don’t like me because their boyfriends all want me”Again, this isn’t necessarily unfounded 100 percent of the time, Dr. Smith says, but it’s “just not something to say if you do not want to come across as arrogant.” I mean, think about it—how would you feel if someone said that about you?

4 Ways to Still Be Confident but Not RudeThe difference between confidence and arrogance can be confusing; people may see it differently.
“For some people, acknowledging any strength or accomplishment can come across as arrogant or rude because they are not used to what acknowledging one’s strengths are can look like in a healthy way,” Dr. Smith notes.
With that said, it’s possible to be confident and speak on that without coming across as rude or “better than.”
“Acknowledging a strength, positive or accomplishment, is not problematic,” she continues. “It is more about how it is done and for what purpose.”
Below, she shares some phrases to swap for the earlier ones.
1. “I have what I think is a helpful idea. Is this the time to share it?”A phrase like this acknowledges your expertise humbly. It also provides others a space to say if that’s not what they need right now. You know, those moments when you want solidarity rather than advice.
“Sometimes, this question may not be pertinent to include, but other times it will be an important one to include because the listener(s) may not be in a space of wanting ideas or solutions,” Dr. Smith says.
2. “This sounds like a tough situation—I have some experience that I think could be beneficial here if you want me to share it”Speaking of solidarity versus advice, this phrase offers both. Use it instead of “I always know what to do” or something similar.
“This combination acknowledges the difficulty of a situation, and we know that acknowledgement and validation can go a long way,” Dr. Smith shares. “The second sentence notes there is experience the person thinks is relevant that they can share and are willing to do so when the other(s) is/are ready.”
3. “I have not encountered that problem before, but I hear what you’re saying, so let’s look at it together”Teamwork makes the dream work, right? This phrase also acknowledges that no one is perfect or has the answer to every situation, especially right away.
“It does not belittle someone for having a problem and carries an implication that by taking a look together, future progress is possible,” Dr. Smith says.
4. Generally, not going “on and on” about the accomplishmentSharing, say, an award or promotion you received, but not talking about it endlessly or omitting a simple “thank you,” is another safe bet.
“Acknowledging a success or accomplishment is appropriate and healthy, so it falls solidly into the category of confidence,” Dr. Smith shares. “Speaking ad nauseam about it and bringing it up in every conversation, even when there is no natural segue to it, is arrogant.”

The 'Days of Our Lives' Villain Viewers Loved to Hate in the ’80s
Days of Our Lives fans knew doom and destruction were in the air when the great Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) appeared. Let’s take a moment and reflect on one of daytime’s greatest villains.
In 1981, newly appointed Days head writer Pat Falken Smith had just come off a successful run on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, where she had penned the highly successful and popular Ice Princess storyline.
Finding inspiration in the NBC miniseries The Gangster Chronicles, Smith created the role of Stefano specifically for Mascolo and brought on former General Hospital star Thaao Penghlis as his son, Anthony ‘Tony’ DiMera.
Penghlis joined the series first in November of 1981, with Mascolo following soon after in January of 1982.
Tony had come to Salem to win back his wife, Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring), and to investigate the residents of Salem and whether it would be an appropriate location for the DiMeras’ next business ventures.
Upon learning that the Brady family, specifically Roman Brady (Wayne Northrop), was living in Salem, Stefano decided it was the perfect opportunity to enact his revenge and seize control.
Roman had previously been an agent working with the ISA to take down Stefano and his international crime ring.
Throughout the next forty years, Stefano’s reign of terror on the residents of Salem would cause heartache for all who had the unfortunate circumstances to run into him.
This began when Stuart Whyland (Robert Alda) failed to secure a manufacturing plant for Stefano and was framed for the DiMera’s drug cartel operation. Ultimately causing him to die of a heart attack in January 1982.
One early storyline saw Stefano partnering with Andre DiMera, whom he had given plastic surgery to look just like Tony DiMera. Andre and Stefano kidnapped Tony and held him prisoner while they plotted to frame Roman for the Salem Slasher murders.
Stefano’s feud with the Brady's continued to evolve over the years as he targeted not only Roman but also became obsessed with his wife, Marlena (Deidre Hall).
In 1984, Stefano had returned from the dead after having ‘died’ in a car accident. Now, suffering from a brain tumor, he was on the search for four “prisms” that could help cure him. This led to an intense cliffside battle with his rival, Roman, that ended with Roman falling over the cliff and ‘dying’ in his brother Bo's (Peter Reckell) arm.
Stefano made his way back to Salem and taunted Marlena, but she enacted her revenge, shooting and “killing” Stefano once again.
However, the death didn’t stick, and “The Phoenix”, as Stefano would become known as, would once again rise from the ashes.
His next resurrection didn’t occur until late 1988, when he came back to take a hold of his son Benjy Hawk, who was being raised by Roman’s sister, Kayla Johnson (Marybeth Evans), and her husband, Steve Johnson (Steven Nichols).
Stefano kidnapped Roman’s daughter, Carrie Brady, and lured the Bradys to his island, where he explained his master plan and reasoning for his revenge. He shared that following the cliff-top death, he had taken hold of Roman and brainwashed him, and had ordered Roman to kill one of Stefano’s enemies.
However, while Roman was successful, he also ended up harming Benjy, who was in the building, and caused Stefano’s son to go deaf. Thus, Stefano felt it was only fair to cause Roman and his loved ones harm in revenge.
Benjy ultimately witnessed everything and saw who his father truly was, and decided he didn’t want to live with Stefano. Stefano escaped the island in his helicopter and wasn’t seen again for many years.
He would briefly return in 1991 to reveal that he had been behind the disappearance of Roman and Marlena, as well as the brainwashing of John Black (DrakeHogestyn) into believing he was Roman Brady.
He would then return once again to Salem in 1993, where his reign of terror would hit new levels, kidnapping Marlena multiple times and holding the citizens of Salem hostage. Stefano would bring terror into the lives of those around him again and again.
Since his arrival in 1981, Stefano “died” and rose from the ashes an astonishing 13 times, before Mascolo’s death in 2017.
However, despite his death, Stefano continued to influence things behind the scenes, with his “essence” being transferred to a microchip in 2019 and implanted in Steve Johnson’s body, creating the affectionately known “Stevano.”
Stefano’s remains were finally laid to rest in early 2026, with his family giving the Phoenix a proper memorial.
To this day, fans continue to say reflect highly on the impact Stefano and Mascolo had on the soap opera. One user wrote on X, "Stefano DiMera was the greatest villain in daytime soap history, and that is largely due to the great performances by Joe Mascolo."
A second user added, "Lives were changed that day. He was the villain everyone loved to hate for decades. His machinations are still being felt in Salem long after he died."
What were some of your favorite Stefano memories? Were you terrified of the Phoenix? Or were you always happy to hear him utter the phrase “It’s good to be back.” Sound off in the comments below and let us know.
Alex Murdaugh Update: Shocking Twist Could Change Everything in Murder Case
Alex Murdaugh could face a dramatically different outcome if he is convicted of murder again.
The South Carolina Supreme Court overturned Murdaugh’s 2023 conviction for the murders of his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul, on Wednesday, May 13. Now, the prosecution says it may seek the death penalty.
"In light of the Supreme Court's decision, we're back to square one on this case, and that means all our legal options are on the table, including the death penalty," South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson said, according to ABC News.
As for why the prosecution didn't seek the death penalty in Murdaugh's first trial, they didn't want a complex trial, instead banking on a guaranteed sentence of life without parole.
Murdaugh, who filed an appeal in March 2023, had his conviction overturned after the court decided that he did not receive a fair trial. The reason? It was determined that former Colleton County Clerk of Court Rebecca “Becky” Hill had "improper external influence" on the jury because she told them to "watch [Murdaugh] closely" and to not trust his testimony, per BBC News.
Murdaugh is accused of killing his wife and son at their home in South Carolina back in 2021. To this day, he maintains his innocence.
"Alex has said from day one that he did not kill his wife and son," his lawyers said in a statement, adding that they "look forward to a new trial conducted consistent with the Constitution," according to ABC News.
While awaiting his new trial, Murdaugh remains behind bars, serving a combined total of 67 years after he pled guilty to multiple state and federal financial crimes.
A date for the new trial has not yet been set.

The Medication Millions of People Take Every Day Could Deplete a Key Nutrient, Doctors Warn
Modern medicine has helped us virtually eliminate life-altering and deadly infectious diseases with vaccines. It has also improved cancer survival rates and helped people live longer, healthier lives, even with chronic conditions like heart disease.
You shouldn't be afraid to go on medication if you need it, but staying aware of potential side effects is key.
"Understanding potential side effects isn’t about scaring patients—it’s about empowering them," explains Dr. Tahmid Rahman, MD, the co-director of the Center for Advanced Lipid Management at the Stony Brook Heart Institute. "When people know what to watch for, they’re more likely to have honest conversations with their doctors rather than quietly stopping a medication that could be saving their life. That open dialogue is everything."
Another cardiologist agrees, saying all medications have potential side effects.
"It is important to understand the possible side effects, as it will help us understand if someone is experiencing a temporary mild symptom or whether they are experiencing a serious reaction that requires medical attention," explains Dr. Cheng-Han Chen, MD, a board-certified interventional cardiologist and medical director of the Structural Heart Program at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center. "This will also help us keep patients on medications that are beneficial to their health."
Dr. Rahman and other providers explain that an open dialogue with a doctor is especially important in the age of modern technology (hi, TikTok), where misinformation about medications and other interventions can run rampant.
"It’s equally important that patients understand the difference between a proven side effect and something that’s been assumed or exaggerated over time," he tells Parade. "Not every symptom that occurs while taking a medication is caused by that medication."
One medication millions of people take could deplete a key nutrient, however. Below, doctors discussed the nutrient, why it's unlikely you need to panic and what to do if you're concerned.

The Common Medication That Could Deplete a Key Nutrientchuchart duangdaw/Getty Images
"Statins can decrease blood and tissue levels of CoQ10 by interfering with its production," Dr. Chen says.
If you're unfamiliar with statins and CoQ10, all of this might as well be written in a foreign language.
"Statins are a well-studied medication that are used to reduce the 'bad' cholesterol in the body," explains Dr. Sirisha Vadali, MD, a non-invasive cardiologist and advanced lipidologist for HonorHealth. "These have been proven to lower the risk of heart attacks, strokes and prevent heart plaque from forming in certain patients."
CoQ10 is a substance your body makes naturally. "It is a source of energy production specifically in the muscles," Dr. Vadali adds. "It has a modest but very real antioxidant property that helps protect your cells from damage."
OK, so how are statins and low CoQ10 connected? "This is where things get a little technical, but I'll keep it simple," says Dr. Ryan Kaple, MD, the director of the Structural & Congenital Heart Program at Hackensack University Medical Center. "Your body uses a specific pathway to make cholesterol. Statins work by blocking a key step in this pathway."
Interestingly, Dr. Kaple says your body uses the same pathway to make CoQ10. "So, when you block cholesterol production, you can also unintentionally lower your CoQ10 levels," he explains.
Some people on statins may experience low CoQ10 as a result. "Very low CoQ10 levels can potentially result in fatigue, muscle weakness and pain," Dr. Chen says. "We think that levels do decrease with age."
Millions of people take statins for their cholesterol. Should you panic? "This is a great question, and the honest answer is, we don't have a clear-cut answer," Dr. Kaple says, adding that the research is mixed. "The most important thing is to listen to your body. If you're on a statin and start having muscle aches, don't just ignore them. Talk to your doctor. It might be related to the statin, or it could be something else entirely."
Either way, it can put you on the path to more energy and less pain without sacrificing your cholesterol levels.
Related: ‘I’m a Cardiologist—This Is the First Thing I Always Look at in a Patient’s Lab Results’
Should I Take a COQ10 Supplement if I’m on a Statin?"This is another area where the research is mixed," Dr. Kaple says. Indeed, some studies suggest that taking a CoQ10 supplement is helpful for statin-related muscle pain. Other studies don't show a benefit.
"It's not a magic bullet," he emphasizes. "Here's the most important part: Don't just start taking CoQ10 on your own. Talk to your doctor first. Supplements aren't regulated in the same way as medications, so the quality can vary. Also, your doctor needs to know everything you're taking to avoid any potential interactions. And third, your muscle pain might not even be from the statin, so it's important to get a proper diagnosis."
Related: Is Fatty Liver Disease Reversible? Experts Share the Truth
What To Do if Your COQ10 Is Low and You’re on a StatinIf you notice muscle pain and are taking a statin, Dr. Kaple suggests speaking with your doctor. They can discuss several options to help you, such as:
- Take a "statin vacation." Unfortunately, this vacation doesn't involve a white-sand beach. "Your doctor might have you stop taking the statin for a short time to see if the muscle pain goes away," he says.
- Change your dose. Dr. Kaple points out that some people notice fewer side effects on a lower dose of the same statin.
- Switch to a different statin. There are many types of statins, so your body may tolerate a different one better than the one you currently take.
- Try a different medication. Dr. Kaple shares that your doctor can recommend a different type of cholesterol-lowering medication if statins don't work for you.
- Lifestyle changes. Remember, a holistic approach to heart health is important. "A healthy diet and regular exercise can sometimes lower your cholesterol enough to reduce your need for a high statin dose," Dr. Kaple explains.
- Check for other issues. Honestly? Your muscle pain may have nothing to do with a statin, which is why it's so important to talk to your doctor before self-diagnosing. "Your doctor might want to check your thyroid or vitamin D levels, as problems with either of these can also cause muscle pain," Dr. Kaple says.
- Avoid things that can make it worse. Control what you can. "Things like drinking too much alcohol can increase your risk of muscle problems with statins," he shares.
Keep in mind that all of the above is possible, but the conversation with your doctor is paramount. Dr. Rahman points out that statins are life-saving and effective, so you owe it to yourself to make an informed decision with a trusted, licensed doctor.
"Doctors recommend statins for patients at elevated risk of heart attack or stroke, including those with a prior cardiovascular event, diabetes, high blood pressure or a strong family history of heart disease," he says. "Over the past 40 years, in studies involving more than 400,000 patients, statins have been proven to save lives. That benefit is real, well-established and not something to walk away from lightly."

1970 Rock Anthem, a Sneaky Anti-War Protest Song, Was No. 1 56 Years Ago Today
In 1970, by the time The Guess Who released “American Woman," the band was already on a remarkable run of hits. But few listeners realized one of the decade’s most recognizable rock songs was also carrying a pointed anti-war message beneath its snarling guitar riff.
Released during the height of the Vietnam War era, “American Woman” climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in mid-May 1970, becoming the Canadian band’s biggest crossover success in the United States.
Years later, guitarist Randy Bachman revealed the song was born completely by accident during an improvised onstage jam session in Kitchener, Ontario.
Speaking to Songfacts, Bachman recalled breaking a guitar string during a concert and being forced to retune his instrument alone onstage while the rest of the band stepped away.
“I started to play that riff on stage, and I look at the audience, who are now milling about and talking amongst themselves,” Bachman explained. “And all their heads snapped back. Suddenly I realize I'm playing a riff I don't want to forget, and I have to keep playing it.”
As the jam continued, Bachman called the rest of the band back onstage, including singer Burton Cummings.
“I yell out, ‘Sing something!’” Bachman remembered. “And the first words out of his mouth were, ‘American woman, stay away from me.’”
But according to Bachman, the song’s meaning quickly became much deeper than a catchy hook.
“We had been touring the States,” he explained. “This was the late '60s, they tried to draft us, send us to Vietnam. We were back in Canada, playing in the safety of Canada where the dance is full of draft dodgers who've all left the States.”
Bachman later described the song as “basically an antiwar protest song,” pointing specifically to lyrics including “We don't want your war machines, we don't want your ghetto scenes.”
He also clarified that the title itself was symbolic.
“‘American Woman’ is not the woman on the street,” Bachman said. “It's the Statue of Liberty and that poster of Uncle Sam with the stars and stripes top hat where he has a finger pointing to you, ‘Uncle Sam Wants You.’”
Ironically, Bachman said radio stations initially embraced the song before fully recognizing its political undertones.
“And then it went to No. 1 in Billboard before they realized it was an antiwar protest song, because they weren't allowed to play protest songs on the radio," Bachman explained. "The government outlawed it. ... They only played 'Fighting Men of the Green Berets,' the Sergeant Barry Sadler of the Green Berets kind of thing."
Despite its controversial subtext, “American Woman” became one of the defining rock songs of the 1970s and remains The Guess Who’s signature hit more than five decades later.
The song found a new generation of fans in 1999 when Lenny Kravitz recorded a cover version for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Kravitz’s version became a major hit of its own and won the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.

Podcaster Announces She’s Expecting Her First Child With Her Husband
Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband, Matt Kaplan.
On Sunday, the 31-year-old posted a photo of her bump on Instagram, alongside the caption: “Our family ." In the sweet images, she can be seen sitting on her film producer husband's lap and showing off her stomach in a white crop top.
Alex, who is also the CEO of the Unwell network, had teased the exciting news in an Instagram story shortly before the reveal. She posted a story saying, "Daddy Gang, there is something I've been waiting to share with you."
View this post on InstagramDuring an episode of Call Her Daddyin June 2025, Alex revealed her hopes of becoming a mother. "We ultimately decided that we wanted to start trying to get pregnant last summer. And we were so excited."
But admitted that her busy schedule meant that she was unsure if it was the right time in her career to become a mother. "As s----- as all of this was, that things weren't exactly going according to plan or our timeline about getting pregnant, my career on the other hand, had never been busier and never been bigger. Getting pregnant inevitably would mean I had to slow down."
Alex and Matt largely keep their private lives away from the spotlight, but were first linked in 2020 when they met on a Zoom call. She initially called him "Mr Sexy Zoom Man", but their 2023 engagement was when she revealed his true identity.
Matt is a Hollywood producer, currently working with Awesomeness Films, where he produced the Netflix hit franchise To All The Boys I've Loved Before. He was previously married to The Vampire Diaries actress Claire Holt, according to PEOPLE.
The couple wed on April 6, 2024, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. “It was everything we wanted it to be,” Cooper told Vogueat the time. “It was emotional, heartfelt, and we tailored it to exactly how we always envisioned it.”
Alex recently hit headlines for her feud with TikToker Alix Earle after her Hot Mess podcast was inexplicably dropped from Cooper's Unwell Network in February 2025. The pair have been passing jibes back and forth for most of this year, with Alex calling out Alix for "hiding" behind passive-aggressive social media reposts
Forgotten Reality Show, Which Caused Multiple Broken Bones, Ranked Most Dangerous Series of All Time
When you think of dangerous reality competition shows, you might think of survival series like Naked and Afraid or Survivor. However, the series that TV Line recently ranked the ‘Most Dangerous Reality TV Show’ of all time was about winter sports. It was a British television series called The Jump, which aired from 2014 until 2017.
The competition show was about celebrities trying to master a variety of different winter sports, including ski cross, bobsleigh, skeleton, and giant slalom. “The show resulted in 34 injuries, meaning more than half of its contestants were hurt,” TV Line reported. “Injuries included a dislocated shoulder, a knee injury that required surgery, a broken arm, and a broken leg. Several contestants claimed that their injuries prevented them from working, and gymnast Beth Tweddle, who broke two vertebrae and required spinal surgery, sued the show for damages.”
The host, Davina McCall, spoke about one of the injuries in a 2015 news release, saying, “Donal [MacIntyre] turned up literally bleeding from the lip and scraped all down his face, and I said ‘Oh my God, what’s happened to you now?’ And he said, ‘I just slipped doing a practice jump.’ And he left his face on the ice because it was so cold. He lifted up his face and half of his skin just stayed on the ice. I know it’s not funny, but he was laughing too. Even though the plane was like an air ambulance on the way home, they all loved it. The people who take part in this program are so brave and brilliant, and there’s such a supportive atmosphere surrounding it. It’s a really positive program, which is another thing I love about it.”

Louise Hazel, a contestant on the show during season two, also discussed how intense the process was when speaking with Female First. “You get thrown in at the deep end,” she said. “The first day in Austria we were literally thrown headfirst down an Olympic skeleton course - the training is about survival and taking one day at a time!"
Hazel was also asked whether she was nervous competing in the events, since so many competitors were getting injured. "Of course,” she said. “Nerves are a natural part of competition at any stage and I am no different just because I've competed at the highest level. But it's nerves that gets you injured - it's a failure to not know your limits and listen to your body.”
This Beloved Soap Icon Is Tipped to Be Killed Off After 22 Years in the Role
After 22 years in the role of Jimmy King, actor Nick Miles is expected to leave Emmerdale in a dramatic storyline that will send shockwaves and have a long-lasting ripple effect throughout the village.
Although no official comment has been made by ITV at this point, Metro TV Soaps and Drama Editor Duncan Lindsay reports that Jimmy is set to be killed off in a shocking storyline that has yet to be filmed.
Lindsay explained that he had previously learned about the storyline development, but after another outlet leaked the news, he confirmed the dramatic twist.
A source close to the show told Metro, “It may prove controversial, but the jaw-dropping storyline will set in motion some massive consequences for many months to follow.”
Miles first arrived in Emmerdale on February 19, 2004, with the arrival of the ‘King’ family. The soap opera also introduced his father, Tom King (Ken Farrington), and his brothers, Matthew (Matt Healy), Max (Charlie Kemp), and Carl (Tom Lister).
Jimmy is the last living member of his direct family, following the deaths of his father and brothers. One of Jimmy’s most iconic storylines was the jaw-dropping reveal that he was responsible for his father, Tom King's, death.
Over the years, viewers have watched as Jimmy has transformed from a cold, hard businessman into a lovable and devoted husband to Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and father to his children, Elliot Windsor, Carl Holliday, and Angelica King.
Recently, actress Patsy Kensit was confirmed for a return as Sadie King, Jimmy’s first wife. Little is known about what brings Sadie back to town; however, with Jimmy tipped for an exit, viewers will have to stay tuned to see if her return plays directly into his exit.
Kensit last appeared on the soap opera twenty years ago, exiting the series on September 21, 2006.
Emmerdale (formerly Emmerdale Farm) tells the story of the residents of the close-knit community of Emmerdale in the Yorkshire Dales. The series premiered on October 16, 1972, and has since aired over 10,500 episodes.
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and streams daily in the United States on BritBox, and is posted weekday mornings globally on YouTube by ITV.

1973 Classic Horror Film, Originally a Box Office Flop, Rank Among ‘Best Movie Soundtracks’ of All Time
When The Wicker Man first arrived in theaters in 1973, the British horror film struggled commercially and was largely overlooked at the box office.
But over the decades, the movie, especially its deeply unsettling soundtrack, would become enormously influential.
The soundtrack to The Wicker Man was recently ranked among the best movie soundtracks of all time by Rolling Stone, which praised the film's haunting blend of folk music and psychological unease.
Directed by Robin Hardy and starring Christopher Lee, Edward Woodward, and Britt Ekland, the film follows a police sergeant investigating the disappearance of a young girl on the isolated Scottish island of Summerisle, where pagan rituals and strange traditions quickly create an atmosphere of mounting dread.
Much of that atmosphere came directly from the soundtrack composed by Paul Giovanni and performed with the group Magnet. Rather than relying on traditional horror scoring, the music used British folk ballads, nursery rhymes, tavern songs and acoustic instrumentation to create something simultaneously pastoral and deeply unsettling.
In an interview with The Guardian, Hardy recalled instructing Giovanni, "that the film should have no electronic sounds in it at all. It should be as if we were using a town band on the island, and therefore it should have Scottish folk origins. We talked about Robbie Burns a good deal - the songs Corn Rigs and Gently Johnny are both from his poems."
Rolling Stone noted that the soundtrack's eerie blend of "concertina, fife, lyre, jaw harp, fiddle, and ocarina" helped redefine how folk music could function within horror storytelling.
"I think one of the things is that the songs are used as dialogue but they don't set out as they would in a musical," Hardy told BFI. "It's just that the dialogue lapses into song and vice versa. The lyrics in the songs are very important because they say what we are trying to say in that particular part of the story."
Rolling Stone also argued that later "freak folk" artists such as Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom owe part of their aesthetic lineage to The Wicker Man's uniquely sinister folk sound.
What made the soundtrack especially effective was the way its cheerful melodies often contrasted with the increasingly disturbing events onscreen. Songs that initially sounded playful or traditional gradually took on a more ominous quality as the story unfolded.
Over time, the soundtrack became almost as celebrated as the film itself, influencing generations of horror filmmakers and musicians interested in blending folk traditions with darker themes.
Although The Wicker Man initially failed commercially, it later developed one of the strongest cult followings in horror cinema history and is now widely considered one of the greatest folk horror films ever made.
Its soundtrack remains central to that legacy, a chilling musical landscape that permanently changed the sound of cinematic horror.

Best-Selling Author’s Novel, With a Big Twist, Named Best Short Book You Can Finish in One Sitting
Gillian Flynn is best known for her iconic novel, Gone Girl. However, all of her books are highly rated with huge, unexpected twists. The Grownup, which was originally published as What Do You Do? in an anthology called Rogues, is one of her lesser-known works. It tells the tale of a con artist who is working as a fortune teller.
The story, which won the 2015 Edgar Award for Best Short Story, has since been published as a stand-alone book. Since it is such a quick read with only 64 pages, it recently made BuzzFeed’s list of best “Short Books You Can Finish In Basically One Sitting.”
Stephen King has also recommended the book on his social media, saying, “A short read, but well worth your time. It’s nasty, it’s funny, and has more twists than a corkscrew. I really enjoyed it.”
Related: 2006 Novel Turned Into an HBO Series Tops the List of ‘100 Thrillers To Read in a Lifetime’
In a 2015 interview with NPR, Flynn spoke about the book. “I wouldn't call it a classic haunted house story," she said. "But I do love a good haunted house story. I was a kid who grew up, you know, Turn Of The Screw and The Haunting. And, you know, it sort of starts out as a tale of a grifter and then quickly turns into a much more gothic feel.”
She continued to speak about how not knowing ‘where the source of evil lurks’ is the most frightening part of any story. “That's the case with all good haunted house stories, right?” she said. “Where does the evil really lie? Is it in your mind? Is it with others? Is it in a certain place? And I would sort of say that, you know, all three of my novels have, in a way, been haunted house stories. They've all dealt with the danger that is inside the house, the domesticity, your family members or your loved ones. That idea that in the place that you're supposed to be the safest, you are least safe. And that's always frightened me much more than the serial killer roaming the streets out there.”

’50s Hit Film, Banned Among United States, Ranked No. 1 ‘Comedy Movie’ of All Time
The 1959 classic movie starring Marilyn Monroe was named among the best comedy films, but behind its box office status, it sparked controversy across the United States.
American Film Institute (AFI) unveiled the top 100 “Greatest Comedy Movies of All Time” with Some Like It Hot landing at No.1.
Helmed by Billy Wilder, one of the most influential writer-directors of classical Hollywood cinema, was a crime comedy film that featured a unique twist on usual comedy movies.
Apart from the intriguing storyline, it also featured a star-studded ensemble with A-listers Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon joining Marilyn Monroe, showcasing unforgettable performances.
Set in the late 1920s, Some Like It Hot focuses on two struggling male Chicago jazz musicians who disguise themselves as women in an attempt to escape the ruthless mob.
Using their new aliases, Josephine and Daphne, played by Curtis and Lemmon, they joined an all-female band led by Sugar Kane Kowalczyk, portrayed by Monroe.

Despite the modest production budget of around $2.8 million, Some Like It Hot became a huge hit upon its theatrical release.
With its blockbuster success, the film earned more than $7 million in its first year, making it the third highest-grossing movie of 1959 and the highest-grossing comedy film of its time.
From its box office influence, the Monroe-led movie scored multiple nods at various award-giving bodies. This includes six nominations at the 32nd Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Actor (Jack Lemmon), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography (Black-and-White) and Best Art Direction/Set Decoration, and it was able to take home the award for Best Costume Design.
Adding to its list of accolades, the movie won three Golden Globe Awards in 1960, including Best Motion Picture in Musical or Comedy, Best Actress for Musical or Comedy, awarded to Monroe, and Best Actor in Musical or Comedy, won by Lemmon.
However, behind the film’s success came an unexpected setback, as the award-winning movie was banned across three U.S. states.
In the 1950s, film censorship was incredibly strict and had extreme limitations, among them the cross-dressing element showcased in Some Like It Hot’s premise.
At that time, Kansas, Memphis and Tennessee banned the film from premiering in their states. Kansas even claimed that the movie was "too disturbing” for its people.
Despite the controversy it faced, Some Like It Hot has consistently topped critics' polls as the funniest movie of all time, cementing its legendary status as one of the greatest comedy films in cinematic history.
