Hayden Panettiere’s ex-fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, is asking the court to name him the guardian of his daughter Kaya. He is attempting to protect her rights as the sole beneficiary of her mother’s estate, according to legal documents obtained by Page Six.

Klitschko filed paperwork in Los Angeles on Thursday, claiming that his 11-year-old daughter “is entitled to the entirety.” Kaya currently lives with her father in Ukraine.

The documents reportedly stated that his guardianship is “urgent and essential” so that he “may receive, manage and hold” his daughter’s inheritance.

The 50-year-old former professional boxer added that he is “informed and believes” federal agents “removed property belonging to Hayden’s Estate” during an ongoing investigation. He wants to represent Panettiere’s estate so he can safeguard the home.

The documents continue, “Prior to her death, Hayden and [Klitschko] had hired a security service to protect Hayden’s Home and its contents, arising from a documented concern that an individual had gained unauthorized access to Hayden’s property.”

“Locks to Hayden’s Home were changed by the security service following Hayden’s death, and storage units containing designer clothing and accessories worn to public appearances have been relocated as a precaution.”

The court papers claimed, “it is expected that the individual will continue to try and misappropriate property belonging to Hayden’s Estate. Given the high publicity of Hayden’s Estate, a personal representative needs to be appointed immediately to safeguard and protect Hayden’s Home and contents.”

Klitschko did not name any individuals but further alleged that non-family members have “accessed and destroyed” Panettiere’s emails.

Panettiere died on August 16 at the age of 36.

From Mauritius to Pennsylvania to Serbia and thousands of communities in between, Andrew Carnegie single-handedly funded thousands of libraries—most of which are still actively in use today. From humble beginnings, Carnegie’s love of books and desire to contribute to the public good go back to his teens, when a wealthy businessman showed him generosity.

The 1800s were a time of incredible opportunity in the United States, and Andrew Carnegie, an immigrant from Scotland, capitalized on it, becoming the richest man in the world.

He never forgot his roots, however. Carnegie was born to weavers in working-class Dunfermline, Scotland. After the introduction of steam-powered looms to Dunfermline left hundreds of people unemployed, including his father, Carnegie and his family moved to the United States in 1848 to find work and a better life.

One of the jobs that he found in his new home of Allegheny, Pennsylvania (now the North Side of Pittsburgh), was that of a bobbin boy—someone who changes spools of thread in a cotton mill. After about a year in this job, in 1849, he moved on to work as a telegraph messenger boy at the Pittsburgh Office of the Ohio Telegraph Company and was soon promoted to an operator.

While at this company, he benefited from the generosity of Colonel James Anderson, a wealthy Pittsburgh businessman and former Union Army officer who opened his 400-book library to the working boys of Pittsburgh; Carnegie was one of them.

Of this experience, Carnegie said, “if ever wealth came to me, [to see to it] that other poor boys might receive opportunities similar to those for which we were indebted to the nobleman.” That’s according to the book The Library: An Illustrated History.

After Carnegie found his own wealth in the railroad industry over the following decades, he began building libraries, starting in places where he had personal connections. The first of his public libraries—Dunfermline Carnegie Library—was constructed in his birthplace, Dunfermline, Scotland, in 1883.

The first Carnegie library to open in the United States was in nearby Braddock, Pennsylvania—only about 9 miles up the Monongahela River from Pittsburgh.

Beginning in 1899, his giving accelerated, and it spread well beyond towns he knew personally, including the Southern United States. He funded separate libraries for Black people, who, under segregation, were routinely denied access to public libraries. According to the Texas State Historical Association, he granted twelve “Colored Carnegie libraries” in eight states, primarily in the South. At these libraries, Black people were offered community centers and self-education.

He approved all but a few of the grants that committed to his terms of operation and maintenance. Between 1883 and 1929, his philanthropy had funded the construction of more than 2,500 libraries globally and 1,681 libraries in the United States, according to the Andrew Carnegie Foundation’s website. In 2025, 1,280 still operate and acknowledge their link to Carnegie; only 750 of these still operate in their original buildings. Others have moved to new locations.

Carnegie thus built nearly half of the 3,500 libraries in the country. In total, he spent almost $56.2 million on their construction. In addition, in 1900, he also donated $30,000 (about $1,182,000 in 2026) to the College of Emporia in memory of John Byers Anderson, who had served as president of the board of trustees in the 1880s.

Before he died in 1919 at age 83, Carnegie not only gave away around $350 million (equivalent to $6.7 billion in 2026 dollars), but he also paved the way for thousands of communities to enjoy public libraries. His legacy as a benefactor of the public good ensures that future generations of young people have access to the creativity, community, and education he enjoyed as a teen in Pittsburgh.

Jamie Farr, better known as the cross-dressing Klinger from the iconic ‘70s and ‘80s series M*A*S*H, recently revealed how much he was paid for his first episode on the show. And the number might surprise you.

Even though Klinger would eventually become one of the most iconic characters in television history, Farr made his M*A*S*H debut in Season 1, Episode 4 as a one-time guest star. The actor had just come off a stint on F Troop when the show’s director Gene Reynolds invited him to work on a new series. 

According to Farr, in a recent interview with former child actor Moosie Drier (who starred alongside George Burns in Oh, God! and made a name for himself in the smash ‘80s Disney Channel hit Kids Incorporated) on the “Pop Culture Retro” podcast, Reynolds, who produced M*A*S*H, said, “There’s only one guy that I think can play this. I didn’t even have to audition for it. I got a phone call, and he said, ‘Jamie, there’s a new show on. It’s on Sunday nights. It’s called M*A*S*H. It’s from the movie that was made. And there’s a part in it for you.”

If you’re wondering what the then-would-be M*A*S*H star was paid for his first day on the set, Drier brought a rumor he had heard, telling Farr, “You were hired for what was supposed to be a one-day role, paying you $250.”

While $250 may not seem like a lot in retrospect, it was actually more than Farr was paid. The actor corrected Drier, explaining, “No. It wasn’t $250. No, it was $153.” 

Of course, the Klinger character evolved to become one of the show’s shining stars. While he continued to reprise the role in Seasons 1, 2, and 3, he didn’t formally become a regular cast member until Season 4 in 1975. 

Even though Klinger made Farr a household name, the actor said in a 2024 interview with MeTV, “In a sense, it ruined my career. I was accurate in that because I haven’t had a television series since then. It’s been hard to shake that character.” He continued, “People, they don’t separate the character from Jamie Farr the actor. The first thing they do is hit you with dress jokes.”

Following the finale in 1983, Farr briefly reprised his iconic role, playing Klinger again on After M*A*S*H with costars Harry Morgan and William Christopher. He continued acting after the spinoff ended, guest starring on popular shows such as Murder, She Wrote and Mad About You. And hopefully, for Farr’s sake, he was paid more than $153 per episode. 

Now, at 92, the actor is retired and enjoying time away from the spotlight.

Sheinelle Jones is a mother first, and one of the hardest parts of the past year, she says, was seeing AI turn her children into content for an interview that never happened.

Jones, 48, has three children with her late husband, Uche Ojeh: Kayin, 17, and 14-year-old twins Clara and Uche Jr. In March 2025, Ojeh died at 45 following a 5-month battle with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer.

In the past year, she’s been open about her grief and how difficult his death was for her and their kids. On Monday, Sept. 28, the Today with Jenna & Sheinelle co-host shared how fake AI content reached her family while she was on leave from the show.

The conversation started with fake AI images of singer Raye and Michael B. Jordan at the MTV VMAs. Jones said she had been through something similar, only much worse. “Gosh, I had it, times a billion, and it was awful,” she told co-host Jenna Bush Hager.

Scrolling Facebook, she found a post claiming she and her family had sat down with Katie Couric. It showed Jones, her children, and Couric in a living room that wasn’t hers, surrounded by photos.

“The only reason that anyone may guess that it’s not me,” Jones said, was a detail a girlfriend noticed: Clara’s glasses weren’t quite right. “It just did not happen.”

But the hardest part was staying quiet. “I wanted so badly to comment, ‘Hey guys, this isn’t me,'” she said. But she had been told not to “give it air,” since responding to a fake can help it spread. Turning to the audience, she asked, “You tell me what I should do.”

She also explained that it wasn’t just her kids, either. Jones also said she was fooled by a fake post with pictures of her and her husband until she noticed the hairstyle didn’t match how he wore it. Her mother has also been fooled by fake photos of Jones and the kids, calling to say how happy she was to see them doing well.

For Jones, the stakes go beyond embarrassment. Her family is still healing from an enormous loss, and fabricated images, especially ones that borrow the faces of her late husband and her children, make that harder. As AI-generated content grows more convincing, her story reminds us to look twice before believing or sharing what appears in your feed.

John Mayer fans are about to hear his music in an entirely new way. The singer-songwriter has announced a new residency in the iconic Las Vegas Sphere.

The news came on Monday, Sept. 28, with shows beginning next April.

So far, only six dates have been announced for his spring shows. However, the Sphere is known to add more dates after the original ones sell out. The current performances are set for April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, and 18. Prices start at $129, and the pre-sale is scheduled for Oct. 7.

The news comes shortly after the 20th anniversary of his third album, Continuum, which included some of his most popular tracks, such as “Waiting on the World to Change” and “Gravity.” Mayer shared a heartfelt Instagram post about the album that “changed my life.”

“I’d had success already, but everything clicked into place on this album,” he wrote. “When I think back on what made the album so special, some thoughts come to mind, and they’re worth my remembering: Life came into the room … You have to become different versions of yourself to create a lasting body of work. Sabrina Carpenter’s reaction to Madonna’s viral VMAs acceptance speech had the internet debating whether she was seriously uncomfortable. Now, a body language expert is weighing in.

Efimero, a psychic reading and body language expert at Voyance Tchat, analyzed the pair’s interaction on Sunday, September 27, after some viewers interpreted Carpenter’s shocked expressions and laughter as embarrassment.

“Not particularly,” Efimero said when asked if Carpenter appeared uncomfortable in a statement shared with Parade.

“Throughout the speech, Sabrina repeatedly turns toward Madonna while she is speaking, watches her closely and responds with frequent smiles and laughter,” Efimero explained. “She remains physically close and maintains an open posture rather than withdrawing when Madonna’s comments become more pointed.”

The expert also pointed to the pair’s continued eye contact and engagement, arguing Carpenter didn’t show obvious signs of trying to distance herself.

“Although Madonna clearly puts Sabrina on the spot with the story about the five-day wait — and I can understand why some people have described the moment as embarrassing – but there is a difference between being publicly teased and actually appearing uncomfortable,” Efimero added.

The viral moment came as The Queen of Pop and Carpenter accepted Best Collaboration for “Bring Your Love.”

Madonna, 68, told the audience she waited “5 days” without getting connected to Carpenter, 27, or hearing whether she wanted to collaborate before finally DMing the singer herself. Carpenter reacted with a shocked expression and laughter, but many fans online called the speech “awkward.”

The collaboration was just one part of Madonna’s massive night. She led all artists with a whopping seven VMA wins, including Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Album and Best Dance. She also won Best Long Form Video, Best Cinematography and Best Choreography for Confessions II – The Film.

Madonna and Carpenter also opened the ceremony together with “Bring Your Love,” marking Madonna’s first VMAs performance in 23 years.

A reunion album is supposed to mean the band is back.

Home Again is the only record all six members of New Edition ever made together. Thirty years ago today it went in at No. 1.

The album came out Sept. 10, 1996 and entered the Billboard 200 at the top on the chart dated Sept. 28, selling 441,000 copies in its first week.

The group had been making records since 1983 and had never opened at No. 1 before. Home Again went double platinum and cleared two million, which made it the biggest thing they ever sold.

“Hit Me Off” went to No. 1 on the R&B chart and No. 3 on the Hot 100.

It was a crowded year. BLACKstreet and Sheryl Crow both put out 1996 albums that turned 30 this month too.

The last New Edition album was Heart Break, in 1988. Eight years between records is a long time, and it’s easy to read that as a disappearing act.

It wasn’t. Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe spent the gap as Bell Biv DeVoe, whose 1990 debut Poison sold more than four million on its own. Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant all had solo careers running.

What had been gone for eight years was the group, not the people.

The group voted Brown out in late 1985. Gill was voted in two years later, which meant the two of them had never been in New Edition at the same time. Home Again is the one record where all six are on the sleeve together. There hasn’t been another.

On Jan. 30, 1997, about four months after the album went to No. 1, New Edition played the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The tour had been sold on Brown’s return. He was out sick, and the roughly 3,500 people who showed up weren’t told until the show was already going.

The group filled his solo slot with bits of older songs. Bivins, Bell, DeVoe, Tresvant and Gill finished the show.

The Traitors: New Blood has arrived! Throughout the season, Mike Bloom will speak with someone from the star-studded cast who was murdered or banished on the iconic Emmy-winning reality series.

For two rounds, Logan Smith had a gas playing the “silent, but deadly” game on The Traitors: New Blood. Nestled in a neighborhood of big personalities, the realtor opted to keep a low profile, sitting back and observing while occasionally chiming in at the Roundtable. Perhaps it was this bird’s-eye view of the game that had him clocking Xavier Scruggs throwing Katie Fites under the bus the night before his murder. Now armed with vital information, Logan started slightly pushing for Katie, suspecting she was silencing the person gunning for her. Of course, as well all know, the truth is much murkier. Xavier and Katie had to compete as “accomplices” to be picked as a Traitor, and Xavier was trying (and ultimately failing) to make her unappealing as a pick.

Unfortunately, this tactic not only sunk the former MLB star’s game, but Logan’s as well. When the Traitors (including Katie) were planning that night’s murder, they flagged how he was already onto her, something that would not bode well for their longevity. And so, even if it put more heat on Katie, they found it better to snuff out Logan when he was in the preliminary stages of gunning for her, before things got carried away.

When you ended up getting that letter from the Traitors, how surprised were you at your murder?
Oh man! After after it came up at the Roundtable, and you know it wasn’t the timing that I was hoping for it to come up, I kind of expected I might be on the list. I just didn’t think I would be on the list that night. So I was surprised.

It obviously seems like Katie was the top of your suspect list by the tme you left. But who else was on your radar?
So definitely Joe. And surprisingly, looking back, Abby L. was was up there. I say surprisingly because she’s playing a good game so far. But she just presented so so intelligent and just following that path. She was maybe not very talkative, and so I was. I was kind of picking up on that and thinking maybe she was being a little bit more calculated than than she probably was.

What was it about Joe that had you suspecting him?
He’s a really good actor! He was calling me handsome more times than I could count, and it started to get suspicious. But that’s all. He was just talking, and he seemed to be getting nervous in some situations, and maybe a little red, so I picked up on that. I don’t know if anybody else did, but I did.

I want to talk about your approach to the game, choosing to sit back and observe. How were you able to balance that with, as we saw with Sherry, the idea that you be too quiet can also be perceived as suspicious?
Yeah, well, coming in, I had absolutely no plan whatsoever other than to be a Traitor. So whenever I wasn’t picked for one, I literally sat in the room, looking down like, “What in the world am I gonna do?” I had no clue. So the only thing that I knew to do is try to keep my damn mouth shut, because I know that that’ll get me in trouble.

So navigating it, I just thought, “Okay, well I’m either gonna have to find the Traitors and send them home, or they’re gonna send me home.” So I tried to take in as much info as I possibly could, and in the meantime, I knew that the only time that everybody’s going to be sitting around watching me would be the Roundtable. So maybe I would try to talk just a little bit. Seems like I talked maybe a little too much at the Roundtable. [Laughs.] But I tried to talk up just a little bit there, so it would be in a amongst the crowd of everybody that knew that I wasn’t just being quiet all the time. So I don’t know. I was trying to teeter on that scale. And I don’t know, maybe I tipped it.

Talk to me more about that. Do you feel like the Traitors made the right decision in getting rid of you, considering how you were already suspicious of Katie?
I think that they made a poor decision, because they didn’t know that I had said what I did to however many people that I did. So I definitely think that they were betting on it not going anywhere. Which hey, with the evidence that they had at that moment they thought that only Jay and maybe one or two others kind of had that idea. So I don’t blame them at all for picking me. They were trying to put out the fire before it turned into a forest fire, right? So can’t blame them at all. I don’t think they made a bad decision. If I was in their shoes, I definitely would have got rid of me.

Well who were some of your fellow arsonsists starting this fire? Who were you working closest with by the time you left?
I was definitely keeping everybody a little bit at arm’s length. I feel like that’s just something that I do anyway. But if there was two people that I had to say were the kindest to me, and that I was keeping a little closer, it would definitely be Abbey B. She’s so nice, so personable. I definitely trusted her. Didn’t think that she was a Traitor, and I confided some things in her. And, as bad as Jay was at the time, he was a good buddy of mine. And he and I we were definitely bumping ideas off of each other. But, like I said, I wasn’t exactly ready for him to say the Katie thing just yet, but that’s okay. But yeah, I’d say that those two people were were probably the nicest to me so far.

Did Jay clue you into any of the method to his madness, causing chaos to try to be a shield for the Traitors?
I felt like he definitely did tell me some things that I was privy to that maybe others weren’t. And hey, he is playing an extremely unique game, and I can’t blame him for that. I mean, anybody that’s mad at him for that, hey, it’s our first time being on TV! The biggest thing you can do is be a personality, and he is definitely succeeding in that.

Bringing things back around to Katie, prior to Xavier beginning to throw her name out, were you suspicious of her at all?
A little bit. She she hadn’t done anything up until that point. But whenever he said it, I started to pay a little bit more attention. And I felt like she was being a little little more nervous in certain situations, maybe putting on a face in a different cadence in certain conversations. So I was picking up on that, and I think that that’s what was really leading me into that. And after somebody said that “it was probably a Traitor-on-Traitor” kind of thing with with maybe Xavier being part of that, it was just clicking for me. And I think that I just got lucky enough to put the right puzzle pieces together.

Finally, what’s one thing from your experience in Scotland that didn’t make the edit that you wish we saw?
I don’t know. I wish that everybody got a chance to see more of the Roundtable. They’re condensed. Because there are some funny and maybe not so funny moments. [Laughs.] If I had to pick one, they could definitely be more of the Roundtable, because they are long. [Specifically] the first one. I feel like with Kriste, I felt like there was more to that, maybe. There was a lot of energy in that one.

Believe it or not, Zoolander strutted its way to the big screen exactly 25 years ago!

Ben Stiller starred as ridiculously good-looking, washed up, clueless, male model Derek Zoolander, who has been brainwashed into helping assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Not only did Stiller star in the the satirical feature, but he also directed, co-wrote and co-produced it.

This film isn’t the first time Derek Zoolander would appear before audiences.

“He’s a character that we did in a short film for the for the Fashion Awards on VH1 in 1996 and ’97,” Stiller told Katie Couric during a 2001 TODAY interview. “[Co-writer] Drake Sather wrote the first little piece and and, you know, it just seemed like fun.”

In that same interview, Stiller also described Zoolander as “a really silly, ridiculous comedy.”

Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Christine Taylor, Milla Jovovich, Jerry Stiller and Jon Voight rounded out the 2001 comedy’s main cast. Stars like Vince Vaughn, Justin Theroux and Nathan Lee Graham also appeared in the film.

Although Zoolander has gone on to reach cult classic status, it wasn’t an immediate hit at the box office. Likely due to its release date being just two-weeks after the 9/11 tragedy rocked the world, it took time for the film to find its groove before it eventually grossed over $60 million worldwide.

“I think it came out, like, right around or maybe after 9/11,” Wilson previously shared on Sirius XM’s The Jess Cagle Show in 2023. “… It is funny how some movies kind of live on and others don’t, and that one certainly has.”

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2023, Taylor—who has been married to Stiller since 2000—noted that the public’s continued love for the film over the years has been “the best.”

“People have grown to love it more and more with every decade,” she concluded.

Nearly 15 years after the comedy left a lasting impression on audiences worldwide, Zoolander 2 made its way to theaters in February 2016. However, the sequel ended up becoming both a critical and commercial failure.

Stiller later admitted how Zoolander 2‘s underwhelming reception affected him.

“I thought everybody wanted this. And then it’s like, ‘Wow, I must have really f—ed this up. Everybody didn’t go to it. And it’s gotten these horrible reviews,” Stiller said on fellow Zoolander actor David Duchovny‘s Fail Better podcast in 2024, per People.

“It really freaked me out because I was like, ‘I didn’t know was that bad?”’ Stiller continued. “What scared me the most on that one was l’m losing what I think what’s funny, the questioning yourself … on Zoolander 2, it was definitely blindsiding to me. And it definitely affected me for a long time.”

Fortunately for Stiller, the multi-hyphenate believes the sequel’s failure ended up being a “wonderful thing” because it gave him “space to kind of sit with myself and have to deal with it and other projects.”

“If that had been a hit, and they said ‘Make Zoolander 3 right now,’ or offered some other movie, I would have just probably jumped in and done that,” he added.

Despite Zoolander 3 never becoming a reality, the franchise debuted an animated spinoff film, Zoolander: Super Model, that was released on Netflix UK & Ireland four years before hitting CBS All Access worldwide in 2020.

In many ways, the first Zoolander was ahead of its time, particularly in how it foreshadowed modern influencer culture. For example, Derek Zoolander’s iconic poses—”Blue Steel,” “Le Tigre” and the tour de force that is “Magnum”—resemble today’s popular “duck face” selfie. The movie also explored topics like toxic masculinity, something of which wasn’t discussed as widely at the time of the early aughts flick’s release.

Zoolander and Zoolander 2 are both streaming on Paramount+.

David Cassidy was one of the biggest teen idols of the early 1970s, but there was a side to him that fans never got to see.

In a September 2026 appearance on the Naked Lunch podcast, the late singer’s brother, Shaun Cassidy, shared a story that captured David’s funny, quirky side.

“He was funny different,” Shaun said of his brother, who starred in the ABC musical sitcom The Partridge Family from 1970 to 1974. “He was very funny. But he was funny neurotic. He was very neurotic.”

Shaun went on to detail a road trip to Disney World he organized with his brothers David, Patrick and Ryan several years before David’s death in 2017.

“I mean, we’re all adults now and we haven’t really done that since we were kids. If we ever did that all together as kids, I don’t know,” Shaun continued. “Finally, they all agree.”

“David does not travel well,” Shaun continued. “I have a little bit of trauma from back in the day, like you having hair ripped out at Disneyland and all that. He still has major trauma about it. So, he’s in the hat and the glasses in the car with us. Like David, we’re driving by like a pancake house. No one is going to know you are in the car. The neurosis of him though, used to make us laugh so much.”

He added, “[David] was going through the end of his marriage at the time and he said that it had been his wedding anniversary, and he had taken his wife Sue [Shifrin] who I adore and I love … He said it was his wedding anniversary. I said, ‘What’d you do?’ He said, ‘Well, we went out to dinner,’ and I said, ‘Where’d you go?’ He said, ‘I took her to the Sinking Ship [a nautical-themed basement bar in Tiki-Ko restaurant]. He was like that though.”

Shaun recalled that David also smoked cigars in the car while they were on the road, and when he caught two of his brothers physically fighting, he walked in wearing a bathrobe and smoking his cigar and just looked over at them and walked away.

“Nothing, no intermediary,” Shaun cracked.

 “I can’t explain it, but he was just funny,” he added. “It was his take on everything was funny. And he was perverse.”

While millions of fans adored him, David Cassidy struggled with his Partridge Family fame.

Shaun previously spoke about his brother, telling The Los Angeles Times in 2025 that David“didn’t handle fame well.”

“He complained a lot in the press,” Shaun said. “He had a chip on his shoulder because he wasn’t Eric Clapton or Jimi Hendrix or somebody that he revered. It’s like, OK, play as well as Hendrix, and maybe you’ll be Hendrix. But you’re a really charming guy on a big hit television show, and 8 billion people are in love with you. Tell me why this is a bad deal?”

Roseanne star Michael Fishman just apologized to his fans — but not to his on-screen mom, Roseanne Barr. 

The former child star recently made headlines after a heated online and social media battle. Barr went on a profanity-laced rant against Fishman while on her “Can’t Be Censored” podcast. After the Roseanne revival was now-infamously canceled in 2018 following its star’s tweet about Valerie Jarrett, her former TV son commented on the backlash. His views on the controversy recently resurfaced, leading to Barr’s latest tirade, where she called him a “brainwashed bigot.”

Fishman clapped back with a few pointed comments of his own, saying on Instagram, “I’ve been clear where I stand. But while I have you, there’s something I do want to say. Thank you, thank you, Roseanne. Because after eight years, you said something that I was too loyal to say. Thank you for finally admitting publicly the truth that you and I and your family and your team and everybody around us has always known, which is that I reached out to you the morning of the tweets.”

But it doesn’t end there. Over the weekend, Fishman posted another video on Instagram, this time apologizing to his fans: “I know that there has been a lot of chaos over the course of the last week and I’ve heard from a lot of you feel like your TV family is fighting. I had the privilege of growing up with so many of you, or of being around so many of you. And the truth is I’m going to keep pushing out love and light because it’s the path that I’ve chosen over the years.”

The actor continued, giving fans a glimpse into his private life, noting that people say, “Well, you should be rich.” He explains, “And I mean, I probably should be based on what I did. But that’s not exactly how it worked out…I have played so many roles, and I have worked so many blue-collar jobs like so many of you. So, I’m not going to lose perspective on what’s important.”

What types of jobs has the former Roseanne star taken on over the years? “I’ve been raising kids my whole life. And that meant working jobs that weren’t always flashy and trying to figure out ways to make ends meet. I worked construction, and I’ve been, you know, I’ve been a warehouse manager. I’ve run events. Now I moved back to acting and directing, and I’ve been writing for a long time.” 

Fishman also added a few more interesting occupations, “I’ve been a bounty hunter and a rescue diver. And probably more enjoyably, a coach. But the most important role I’m ever going to have is as a dad.”

If you’re wondering what’s next for this very public feud, Fishman had this to say to his Roseanne fans: “I want you to know, we’re not going to ruin it. I’m going to do whatever I can to uphold that legacy.”

Midway through giving the weather forecast on the Today show, Al Roker quickly stepped away and revealed he left early to fulfill a civic duty that a majority of Americans go through.

The 72-year-old weatherman had already given the forecast several times over the morning. He suddenly left the NBC morning show, leaving Dylan Dreyer to fill in for the rest of the broadcast. Roker’s absence was touched upon by Savannah Guthrie, without giving any explanation.

“We have Dylan taking over for Al, who had to leave a little bit early,” she said.

Dreyer, 45, also commented on the host change by saying it was a “little switcheroo again this morning.” Roker’s absence was also mentioned during the 3rd Hour of Today broadcast, as he co-hosts alongside Dreyer and Craig Melvin. Melvin shared that Roker has to “step out for just a little bit” but would return tomorrow.

Roker explained his absence a few hours later with a video on Instagram captioned, “Hey now!!! All rise!! Time for #juryduty.” It appears even the Today Show weatherman has to fulfill jury duty.

He stood outside the New York courthouse and said, “Well, got out of the Today show early because I’ve got jury duty. It’s everybody’s civic duty to do the duty.” The weatherman didn’t stop himself from pointing out his sly joke of saying “duty” twice.

Some fans couldn’t help but comment on Roker’s post and his being a star in jury selection. A fan even commented, “You’ve got to be the best dressed juror there!!!”

“Imagine someone looking into the Jury pool and you are there especially on a stormy day. a national treasure,” said one fan.

It was a busy day for Roker as he posted another video earlier in the day on how he starts his week. His video was of him getting put to work by his personal trainer, as “we get ready for another busy weather week.” He even posted the video with the theme song for The A-Team. 

Since his 2020 prostate cancer diagnosis, Roker has prioritized his health, and it certainly shows. He’s been seen running on the treadmill, handling some weighted bicep curls, stability movements, and kettlebell rows.
