Keep Your Kitchen Clean While Cooking With This $25 Costco Two-Pack

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 11:25am

I love cooking, but I hate cleaning up afterwards. Few things derail a weeknight dinner faster than oil popping out of the pan and coating your stovetop, backsplash and counters in greasy splatter. Frying bacon, searing chicken or simmering a sauce can feel like an open invitation to a messy kitchen and extra cleanup later. That's why this small, practical Costco two-pack has become the real MVP in my kitchen.

At first glance, you might not think you need this kitchen essential. But once you use it once, you'll suddenly wonder how you ever cooked without it. Instead of reaching for paper towels or dodging hot oil mid-cook, this simple solution helps keep messes contained while still letting your food cook properly.

User @costcofam4u shows off a two-pack of MIU silicone splatter guards, priced at $24.99 at Costco. Designed to sit over your frying pan, each guard helps block grease and sauce splatter while allowing steam to escape, keeping food crisp rather than soggy. Made from food-grade, BPA-free silicone, they're flexible, heat-resistant and dishwasher-safe. The set fits 10-, 11- and 12-inch frying pans, making it easy to grab the right size for whatever you're cooking.

Why a Splatter Guard Is a Kitchen Essential

A splatter guard does more than keep things tidy. It creates a safer cooking environment by protecting you from painful oil pops, especially during high-heat cooking like frying fish or browning meat. Because steam can escape, it avoids the steaming effect you'd get from using a traditional lid, which is key for getting that golden, crispy finish.

Cleanup is where the difference really shines. By catching grease before it lands on your stove, you'll spend less time scrubbing hardened splatters after dinner. Many home cooks also appreciate that silicone guards are easier to clean than traditional mesh screens, which can trap oil in tiny crevices.

Why This Costco Two-Pack Is a Smart Buy

The biggest perk of this Costco set is the value. Having two splatter guards lets you keep one near the stove and store the other, or use them together when juggling multiple pans. They store flat, so they won't hog precious cabinet space, and they're durable enough for daily use.

Silicone splatter guards are especially versatile. Beyond frying, they're great for simmering sauces, reheating leftovers, or cooking anything that tends to bubble and pop. Some cooks even use them as makeshift strainers or cooling surfaces in a pinch.

For under $25, this Costco find delivers a noticeable upgrade to everyday cooking. It's one of those practical finds that quietly makes your kitchen cleaner, safer and easier to manage, which is exactly why shoppers say they reach for it again and again.

This Electronic Masterpiece Ranked 'Best Album of 2001'

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 11:11am

If you were building the ultimate soundtrack of 2001, where would you start? Consequence is answering that question with the debut of Year Zero, a new editorial series celebrating landmark years in pop culture.

The first installment ranks the 50 best albums of 2001, a year that gave listeners Gorillaz, The Blueprint, Vespertine and Survivor — but only one album can claim the top spot.

Even with rock favorites like Radiohead’s Amnesiac and The StrokesIs This It among the year’s best, neither reached No. 1.

That honor went to Daft Punk’s Discovery, a record that not only defined the duo’s career but was also sampled by artists like Kanye West and The Black Eyed Peas.

“It's as utopian as dance music gets, the crystallized perfection of its arrangements and grooves still dripping with dopamine. With the French duo donning their signature robot helmets for the first time, the project symbolized a complete departure from the underground house style they mined on Homework and brought their focus towards a glossier, grandiose, more emotionally-engaging arena,” Consequence noted.

“More so than many of the best albums of the 2000s, Discovery is truly timeless, a document of pure euphoria that summarizes 50 years of music in 60 irresistible minutes.”

Some of the album’s biggest hits include “One More Time,” “Digital Love” and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.”

Alongside the album’s rise, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter unveiled a new persona that would become synonymous with their music: their robot helmets.

Discovery performed strongly on charts worldwide, peaking at No. 7 on Australia’s ARIA Charts, No. 23 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and appearing on at least 13 international charts. The record even returned to charts in March 2021, coinciding with its 20th anniversary and the duo’s official split.

Bangalter has said part of why he and de Homem-Christo retired the robot personas was the rapid advance of technology.

“[In Daft Punk,] we tried to use these machines to express something extremely moving that a machine cannot feel, but a human can,” Bangalter told the BBC.

“We were always on the side of humanity and not on the side of technology… As much as I love this character, the last thing I would want to be, in the world we live in, in 2023, is a robot.”

He also expressed concern about the growing influence of artificial intelligence in the creative world. Programs like ChatGPT are now producing music, art, literature and other works that can be difficult to distinguish from human-made creations.

“My concerns about the rise of artificial intelligence go beyond its use in music creation,” he said.

Garth Brooks’ Unrecognizable '90s Look Reflected a ‘Tough Time’

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 11:09am

In the late 1990s, Garth Brooks looked nearly unrecognizable to fans, during a creative chapter he has since described as a "tough time.”

In a 2019 interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Brooks discussed the era when he morphed into a fictional character, Chris Gaines. The character was reportedly a rock star from Australia tied into a project the country superstar was hoping to get off the ground.

Brooks was so invested in the character that he released a greatest hits LP, In the Life of Chris Gaines. On the cover, the country superstar was unrecognizable, wearing a black wig, eyeliner, and a tuft of hair under his lower lip. Country music fans didn't understand the transformation, and many were left confused by the drastic departure from the image they had come to know.

The character was reportedly part of a film conceived around the Gaines character titled The Lamb. The Boot reported the film was "a suspense thriller about a Gaines superfan who sets out to prove that Gaines was murdered."

The album was set up to be a compilation of the character's greatest hits. However, since the project didn't get off the ground, the LP appeared disjointed among Brooks' other works.

In the Yahoo! interview, Brooks said of his Chris Gaines era, "A lot of people misunderstood it. And my ribs are still sore from getting the s*** kicked out of me for it."

He added, "I would never even really get close to it again, because it really was a really tough time for me, because of the fact that I saw for the first time that people can be focused on something way past the music. And that's never a good thing when music takes a backseat."

However, in 2020, Brooks told Billboard that fans may not have seen the last of his alter-ego, but did not give a timeline on the return of Chris Gaines. "If you know the greatest hits, they had to come from somewhere; if that tells you what’s coming," he teased.

The Life of Chris Gaines went to No. 2 and featured the hit tune, “It Don’t Matter to the Sun.” The song has since been covered by Rosie Thomas, Matthew Morrison, and fashioned as a duet by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley.

Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) also breathed new life into the Gaines song "Lost in You." He transformed the pop ballad into a gospel-soul version, giving it a completely different spin.

It’s been 27 years since Garth Brooks channeled Chris Gaines, and the era remains one of the most talked-about chapters of his career. Today, it stands as a reminder of an artist willing to take risks, even when the results confused fans.

Savannah Guthrie’s Mom Missing: ‘Today’ Hosts Struggle to Hold Back Tears On Air

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 11:04am

The emotional toll of Savannah Guthrie’s ongoing family crisis was palpable on Today Monday morning, February 9, as her co-anchors visibly struggled to hold back tears while sharing viewers' messages for Savannah and her family.

With Guthrie still away from the show as the search continues for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, Today hosts Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones and Al Roker took a few minutes to express their love for the Guthrie family and share viewer messages.

“We can continue to keep Savannah and her family in our hearts and our prayers,” Bush Hager said, adding that the team understands just how deeply this terrible tragedy has affected their viewers.

Messages of support for Savannah and her family have been pouring in from viewers across the country, many sharing prayers, words of encouragement, and simple pleas for Nancy’s safe return.

“Please know you have millions of people around the world who are standing with and praying for you,” one viewer wrote, while another summed up the collective sentiment in just three words: “Bring Nancy home.” The outpouring underscored how closely viewers feel connected to Savannah—and how personally many are taking her family’s ongoing ordeal.

Kotb later revealed that she attended Savannah’s church on Sunday, describing the overwhelming outpouring of concern and solidarity she witnessed. “Every single person there was like-minded,” Kotb said. “The outpouring was incredible for her, her family, her loved ones all around the country.”

Roker echoed that sentiment, explaining that even while traveling to San Francisco to cover the Super Bowl, so many strangers stopped him to offer prayers and words of encouragement.

“Keep praying,” he said. “We sure are.”

Lost Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads Rehearsal Tape Discovered After 46 Years

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:56am

Looking back on Ozzy Osbourne's legendary influence on rock music stirs deep nostalgia for many fans. That feeling was reignited when a long-lost rehearsal tape featuring the Prince of Darkness alongside guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Bob Daisley was uncovered decades later in an attic.

The UK outlet Sky News reported the lost tape was found by David Jolly (aka Chabby), a close friend of Osbourne, in an attic in Suffolk, England. The tape showed clear signs of age, with a yellow and faded cassette sticker that read "Ozzie's Last Day." It hasn't been played in decades and featured Osbourne, Rhoads, and Daisley jamming to a blues song.

Based on details of the tape, the rehearsal was recorded in 1980 after Osbourne was notoriously fired from Black Sabbath. The 12-minute tape was recorded in Iketshall in Suffolk before they recruited Lee Kerslake as their drummer and went on to record the Blizzard Of Ozz album.

Jolly told the news outlet he had become friends with Osbourne during the time the tape was recorded and said, "Although he has the reputation of being wild, I found him to be a very unassuming guy and not as the picture painted."

He details how Ozzy had given him the tape before parting ways, and Jolly simply put it away and had forgotten all about it. After learning about the rocker's death in 2025, he decided to dig it up and found it in a briefcase.

Related: 1997 Foo Fighters Record Ranked Among the Best Rock Albums of All Time

Unlike other found recordings of famous artists, the tape didn't hold unreleased music or a specific song. It was a jam session between Osbourne and the members who would push him into the next chapter of his career.

Daisley, the last surviving original member, heard the recording and immediately recognized Osbourne's voice.

"I don't know if we were auditioning a drummer and just loosening up a bit, or we're just clowning about… but it wasn't a song we were working on because we had definite songs by then, we had several songs," he said.

While having his own mementos of their time together, the drummer admitted he had nothing like the rehearsal tape. It brought back memories of their time in Ilketshall and said, "It's great to hear that stuff, to think, wow, we were good - because you forget. I've never heard anything like it before."

Logan Paul’s Reaction to Brother Jake Paul’s Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Remarks Sparks Controversy

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:56am

The Paul brothers are once again causing controversy. This time, their drama centers on Jake Paul callingBad Bunny a “fake American” and urging football fans not to watch the singer's Super Bowl halftime performance.

Now, Jake’s older brother, Logan Paul, is speaking out against his brother's remarks. However, his words are not resonating with many fans, who claim the wrestler is just trying to save face.

Taking to X, Logan reshared Jake’s tweet that took aim at Bad Bunny to share his own thoughts.

“I love my brother but I don’t agree with this Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island,” Logan wrote.

Despite his best effort to distance himself from his brother’s words, things didn’t go as planned. Logan was called out in the comments for his own previous statement about Bad Bunny performing for the Super BowlHalftime Show.

“You said u weren't excited yesterday someone talk with you or you grifting again. ?” declared a fan. One fan expressed, “You’re on video saying you weren’t excited for the halftime show. Pick a side man.”

Another fan stated, “Damage control. You screamed  'NO' to the camera when you were asked 'if you were excited for the half time show' an hour before. Does not align if you ask me." A fan wrote, “I agree with you, but didn't you say that you weren't excited for the halftime show earlier today?”

“You said you weren’t excited for the show so why you switching up now ⁉️👑,” asked a fan. One fan called Logan a “hypocrite” and shared the video of him saying he wasn’t excited for Bad Bunny’s performance.

A different fan also shared the video, writing, “Appreciate you standing up to correct his disgusting and racist take… just wish you had that energy an hour earlier…”

“Logan remembered that he still has to live there 😂😂 don't backpeddle now that 'no' was pretty strong,” insisted a fan. A different fan feels Logan is trying to save face due to his career as a wrestler, writing, “You're just saying this because you have to work with a bunch of Bad Bunny's friends in WWE.”

One fan asked, “Why did you say 'No' pretty emphatically when someone asked you if you were excited for the Super Bowl Halftime show? 🤔”, while another fan stated, “No one actually believes you mean this.”

Logan was also called out for publicly disagreeing with Jake. “You can privately disagree with your brother and talk to him. No need to make this public for clout,” insisted a fan.

There were a few comments calling out Logan and Jake for living in Puerto Rico for their own gain, but not supporting the natives. As Parade reported, Jake has since clarified his comment, while also declaring he has nothing but love for Bad Bunny.

Lady Gaga Says Performing With Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl Halftime Was an 'Absolute Honor'

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:51am

Lady Gaga was one of the most talked-about surprise guests at Bad Bunny’s historic Super Bowl LX halftime show, and afterward, she made it clear just how meaningful the moment was to her.

Taking to social media shortly after the performance, Gaga wrote that "it was [her] absolute honor to be a part of Benito's halftime show," thanking Bad Bunny for inviting her and the entire cast for welcoming her onstage. She also added she "wouldn't have missed it for the world."

View this post on Instagram

Gaga's appearance came about midway through the show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where she delivered a salsa-infused version of her hit "Die With a Smile"— the Bruno Mars collaboration she reimagined with live horns and percussion to fit seamlessly into Bad Bunny's Latin-centric set.

Bad Bunny even joined Gaga onstage to dance after her performance, marking a rare and joyful on-stage collaboration between the two superstars.

While many fans have argued that the surprise performer should have been a Latin artist, the moment was significant for both artists. Gaga, a global pop icon with multiple Super Bowl appearances under her belt, expressed deep admiration for Bad Bunny's artistry and cultural impact. Her choice to tailor her performance to reflect his vibe and celebrate his moment on one of the world's biggest stages spoke to her respect for him as a peer and for the cultural significance of the show.

Related: Why Lady Gaga's Super Bowl Performance Didn't Sit Right With Fans: 'This Wasn't Her Place'

In many ways, her appearance reinforced the sense of unity and cross-genre celebration that Bad Bunny's performance embodied. After audiences around the world watched, Gaga's gratitude has highlighted how meaningful it was to be part of a set that celebrated Puerto Rican culture and Latin music on such an enormous platform.

One fan commented on Gaga's post: "One of the most beautiful and magical aspects of art and culture is that they know no frontiers. They bring people from different backgrounds together in love and celebration, and that's exactly what you all did in this beautiful and powerful moment."

Another added that "the beauty of [Latin] culture is that we invite everybody to the party!"

Others have chimed in, dubbing her "Lady Latina," "La Lady Gagita," and "Titi Gaga," congratulating her on "a great salsa performance."

Iconic '80s Rocker's Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Post Leaves Fans 'Conflicted'

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:44am

Sammy Hagar's post about the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show is raising eyebrows.

The '80s rock legend—who fronted the band Van Halen from 1985 to 1996, and again from 2003 to 2005—took to social media with a video about the halftime show, but it instantly left fans confused and feeling "conflicted" about what he was trying to communicate.

Posting a clip of himself playing guitar in what looked to be his own living room, Hagar captioned the spirited post, "A little #superbowllx#halftime performance at my Super Bowl party." The snippet was seemingly a show of approval for the actual performer for the Big Game, Bad Bunny, as he joked, "Bad Bunny asked me to warm the crowd up before he did his Super Bowl thing, because he was a little nervous," before breaking out into song while strumming his instrument.

The Instagram video didn't include any other reference to the reggaeton star, however, the Un Verano Sin Ti artist was also directly mentioned in the caption, along with a hashtag: "@badbunnyyofficial#mastequila."

The rocker's home was filled with a room full of people who had gathered for the sporting event, with many pulling out their phones to record the musical moment. People online, though, were unclear on whether the upload was in support of or against (insinuating that he'd have been a better pick) the Super Bowl LX Halftime performer choice.

Several took to the comments section to express their skepticism.

"Dude… I’m conflicted on what you mean here …. I’m hoping it’s nothing but love for the Latin community in our great nation, and abroad," one admitted, while another reasoned, "Since he lives cabo ..he means good 😂😂I guesss👏👏."

"Would love to see you do the halftime show! I myself tuned into the alternative and loved Kid Rock!" a third chimed in, referring to the alternate halftime show planned in direct rebellion of the NFL's performer decision.

More commenters added varying sentiments like, "Sammy for Super Bowl 2027!!!!! It just…Feels So Good!!! @sammyhagar 🔥🔥🔥," "You WIN!!! REDHEAD FOREVER!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️," "Best performance of the night Sam 🔥," and "Well you're no bad bunny and thank God for that."

Hagar himself quickly dropped into the comments section to clear things up. "100% love for the Latin community. Are you kidding me? I live in Mexico I love Puerto Rico. I love the islands and Bad Bunny can throw one bad ass party just having fun with my friends.❤️," he responded in a comment thread, attempting to shut down naysayers.

'80s Hard Rock Band Blows Fans Away on Opening Night of New Show: 'They Sound So Good'

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:42am

The reviews are in! Months after announcing their Sin City takeover, Def Leppard kicked off its residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and fans said it was worth the wait.

Running from Feb. 3-28, Def Leppard's third Vegas residency promised "brand new electrifying production to showcase their timeless catalog of hits along with some new surprises." Judging by the footage shared by a fan on TikTok, they delivered.

The fan said the band "did not disappoint" and shared a clip of them performing their 1987 hit "Pour Some Sugar On Me." Fans commented how 'the sound so good," that singer Joe Elliott "nailed it," and that the lads "still got it" after nearly fifty years together.

The opening night's set was a mix of classics and surprises. According to Setlist.fm, Def Leppard performed their cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" for the first time, as well as their song, "Rejoice." They also performed their cover of David Essex's "Rock On" for the first time since 2019 and their song "White Lightning" for the first time since 1993.

"We've scrapped everything we've ever used over the last five or six tours," said Elliott in an interview ahead of opening night, "which was adapted all the way, but we've just actually got rid of it and came up with a whole new stage show, including setlist."

"[It's] pretty spectacular," the rocker added of the stage production. "[It's] where we've always wanted to be. It's taken it up many levels, not just one level."

Def Leppard played its first Vegas residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Spring 2013. A second residency was planned for 2014, according to Billboard, but touring commitments and work on their eleventh album, the self-titled Def Leppard, forced the band to shelve that Vegas return. Def Leppard finally made it back in 2019 with Def Leppard Hits Vegas—The Sin City Residency.

The long-running hard rock band announced this new residency in July 2025. "Let's do this!" the band posted online. "We're gonna set the strip alight! Very excited to announce Live at Caesars Palace – The Las Vegas Residency, February 3rd – 28th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace!"

Formed in the late '70s in Sheffield, England, Def Leppard's style and attitude helped usher in the new wave of British Heavy Metal (BNWOHM) in the 1980s. They had success with hits like "High N' Dry (Saturday Night)," "Photograph," "Rock of Ages," "Love Bites," and "Pour Some Sugar on Me."

For the last thirty years, Def Leppard has consisted of O.G. members Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, and Rick Allen, along with Vivian Campbell (who joined in' 92)and Phil Collen (who joined a decade prior).

Popular High-Caffeine Energy Drink Brand Reign Launches 'Intense' New Flavor

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:41am

Reign Total Body Fuel is launching another new energy drink, which it says is part of an "underrepresented" flavor line.

The popular energy drink company, part of the Monster Energy family, announced it's expanding its lineup of candy-inspired flavors with a familiar newcomer that "hits hard on taste and performance, without compromise."

On Monday, the company introduced a new Watermelon Sour Gummy flavor as part of a strategic move in the brand's innovation pipeline to address growing demand for flavors that "feel indulgent yet functional."

Reign Total Body Fuel Drops New Sour Candy-Inspired Energy Drink Flavor

"Sour watermelon is a flavor people instantly recognize and love," Reign's global chief marketing officer, Dan McHugh, shared in a statement. "It's playful, bold, and incredibly refreshing."

According to an official press release, the new energy drink delivers a mouth-puckering punch of sour watermelon candy flavor. Like other Reign innovations, it packs 300 milligrams of caffeine per 16-ounce can, BCAAs, and zero sugar to fuel intense workouts and active lifestyles. It's "familiar, fun, and irresistibly drinkable."

"With Watermelon Sour Gummy, we're tapping into a beloved confectionery flavor profile that's been underrepresented in energy drinks," McHugh added, "while staying true to REIGN's performance-first formula."

Its caffeine content is notably higher than competitors like C4 and Celsius, which cap beverages at about 200 milligrams per 16-ounce can, and more in line with Monster's Killer Brew. That said, experts recommend most adults limit their caffeine intake to 400 milligrams per day, so it's not advisable to drink more than one of these per day.

REIGN Total Body Fuel Launches Bold New Watermelon Sour Gummy Flavor and Congratulates DeMarcus Lawrence on His Big Win.

Reign Total Body Fuel

The new flavor follows a similar variety, Reign Sour Gummy Worm, which reviewers say is pretty on-the-nose, sweeter than it is sour and enjoyable enough to have earned 4.3 out of 5 stars online. It's best served ice-cold, per fans.

"The sour gummy worm flavor is oddly calm," one fan wrote. "Was expecting a kick in the mouth of sour, but it's mostly gummy worm. The subtleness of it almost makes you want to keep drinking just to keep that flavor in the mouth. Didn't notice any aftertaste."

"Nostalgic taste," a second shared, adding that it "tastes just like the sour gummy worms I had in the 90's with no aftertaste. Best drank at near freezing."

And as for the newcomer, well, it's already earning celebrity endorsements, with Seattle Seahawks linebacker Super Bowl LX winner DeMarcus "Tank" Lawrence calling it a "bomb" new flavor. "I cracked one open to celebrate on Sunday! So proud to get REIGN Total Body Fuel its first Super Bowl ring!"

Reign's new Watermelon Sour Gummy flavor is now available nationwide, per the press release. Find it at retailers that carry the rest of its "powerhouse" roster of offerings, including Reign White Haze, Reign Orange Dreamsicle, Reign White Gummy Bear, Cherry Limeade, Lilikoi Lychee, Melon Mania, Razzle Berry, and Reignbow Sherbet (prices may vary).

Mike Wolfe Clarifies Future of 'American Pickers' as New Show Kicks Off

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:34am

Mike Wolfe clarified the future of American Pickers as his new show, History's Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe, prepares to kick off on the History Channel.

During an interview with TV Insider published on Feb. 9, Wolfe, 61, set the record straight on the fate of American Pickers in the wake of his co-star, Danielle Colby, claiming the show was "done" after 27 seasons.

"We’ve got shows coming up," Wolfe revealed. "We were in talks behind the scenes about when we want to fire this thing up again. The reason we took a hiatus was because the network had a number of shows that were brand-new and just sitting there. They were like, 'Let’s just chill out for a little bit. Let’s air some shows and get back at it.'"

In fact, Season 27 of American Pickers will continue with a new episode dropping on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on the History Channel.

Additionally, History's Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe officially premieres on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on the History Channel.

"Listen, I don’t take lightly. This new show [History’s Greatest Picks] is going to air because I struggled for five years to make my show happen and to be on television," Wolfe told TV Insider. "So, when that happened, and I learned so much, what I did learn was there are so many great ideas floating around out there, but so little of them come to fruition when it comes to television."

He concluded, "This was a great idea someone had, and it was just the right time. I feel so proud to produce content still for History after all these years. "

In December, Colby, 50, posted an Instagram video claiming, " just found out that American Pickers is done.” She later clarified, “Things are always still happening. Things are always still going. My perspective was more from a paycheck standpoint.”

When asked if American Pickers was canceled, a History Channel representative told Parade in December, “There is no truth to it. The fact is, we aren’t producing new episodes right now because we have a season in the can already, and Mike was doing his new show, but we could go back into production early next year.”

A new episode of American Pickers airs on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET, while History's Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe officially premieres on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on the History Channel.

Kayla Nicole Just Clapped Back at Taylor Swift and Ex Travis Kelce: See the Pointed Super Bowl Jab That’s Going Viral

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:31am

The Super Bowl LX commercial breaks usually belong to talking babies or Clydesdales, but this year, the spotlight was hijacked by a different kind of drama. Kayla Nicole, the long-time ex of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, made a cameo that had fans reaching for their phones faster than a halftime wardrobe change. Starring alongside comedian Tiffany Haddish and NBA’s Ben Simmons, Nicole appeared to settle a score in the new ad.

The commercial features Haddish and Simmons as "emotional injury specialists" for a fictional firm dedicated to helping people move past high-profile breakups. The ad also features a revolving door of famous faces who have navigated their own very public splits, including Love Island USA star Ace Greene and Cardi Bs ex Offset, who joked, “I don’t even know what I’m doing here, I’m great at relationships.” But it was Nicole’s session that felt the most pointed. Discussing her "ex-girlfriend" reputation, she traded lines with Simmons in a script that felt like a direct wink to the zeitgeist.

Ever had a bad breakup? 🥀

The Ex-Communicators are HERE to confront your Ex so you don't have to 🤝 #SleeperTeamPicks pic.twitter.com/U7WDgZD0wd

— Sleeper (@SleeperHQ) February 8, 2026

“Simmons and Haddish promised me that they could put an end to this whole ‘ex-girlfriend’ fiasco quickly,” Nicole says in the spot. “That doesn’t sound right,” Simmons interjects. “Rapidly,” Nicole tries again. “Okay, pronto.” “I said swiftly, why is that so hard to remember?” Simmons finally adds, in a sly reference to Taylor Swift.

The timing of the ad is particularly sharp. Nicole and Kelce, also 36, dated on and off for five years before splitting four years ago. On Sunday, Kelce watched from the stands as a spectator—missing the big game for the first time in years—while the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13.

The spot also serves as a response to Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. Last October, fans speculated that the song “Opalite” was a dig at Nicole, featuring lyrics that seemed to describe Kelce’s life before the pop star as "starving" and suggesting his ex was "just a pose." “You couldn't understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone and you were just a pose,” Swift sings on the track.

While the ad certainly ruffled some feathers within the "Swiftie" fandom, many on social media—particularly on Reddit—celebrated Nicole for leaning into the narrative. In a landscape where Swift is known for revisiting past grievances in her music, many felt it was only fair for Nicole to do the same.

"Go get you coins, Kayla," one Reddit user wrote. "She’s gonna get dragged either way so why not make money off of it. Love this for her." Another pointed out the double standard often applied to the women in Kelce's life: "Taylor is profiting off of her she might as well do the same."

A third commenter added, "Good for Kayla. We've seen that Taylor will drag her enemies over and over... She's been dragging Jake Gyllenhaal and Kim K for years. She keeps digging at Joe. Might as well clap back and get your cash."

"It's come to my attention that you guys have all been talking about this certain thing that has happened," she said, adding, "I never thought I'd have to make a video like this."

"It is true," she continued, "it has been a long time since I've dropped new music," she said as the tone of the video changed to upbeat and happy.

"But I'm working on it, and it will be out soon," she said with a smile.

And fans of course, couldn't contain their excitement.

"This just made my year!" one fan said. "Couldn't be happier that your back at it."

"I can’t wait! It has been too long!" one said, while another added, "We love ya Gretchen!"

However a few were relieved that there was nothing for the famed country singer to actually apologize for.

"Gretchen, girl you could get a side gig in acting!" they said. "You had us scared."

"I was like. 'No way she has done something wrong,'" another fan said. "Cang [sic] wait to hear the new music."

Wilson's announcement comes almost 10 years after she last released music with the 2017 album 'Ready to Get Rowdy.'

Known for her earlier hits like "Redneck Woman" and "Here for the Party," which launched her career in the mid 2000s, the 52-year-old also announced in late 2025 that she'll be revisiting some of her breakout hits with a rerecord of her debut album. This time around though, she'll have some famous friends, including Tanya Tucker and Cody Johnson, join her on the new venture.

“I’m going to have a guest vocalist on each song. I’ve gotten some promises from some pretty big names," she said on Rolling Stone's country podcast, 'Nashville Now,' in November.

The new music that she announced on TikTok will be in addition to the reimagined album.

Trump Shares Reaction to Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:08am

Less than a day after Bad Bunny's explosive performance at last night's Super Bowl, President Trump is making his view on the singer's well-received show unabashedly clear.

Taking to social media to vent his thoughts about the 31-year-old singer's luminous performance at the Super Bowl LX halftime show, the commander in chief called the musician's performance "absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER."

"It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, and Excellence," Trump wrote of Bad Bunny's halftime show.

Among Trump's biggest issues was the fact that Bad Bunny performed his halftime show entirely in Spanish, a trait the Puerto Rican singer has become known for since first starting in the mainstream music industry.

"Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the world," the president continued.

Moving forward with his complaints, Trump then went on on tote his own successes as the sitting U.S. president, as well as launching attacks at major media organizations he dubbed the "Fake News Media."

"This 'Show' is just a 'slap in the face' to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day – including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!" Trump wrote.

While many fans might have wondered if the politically outspoken Bad Bunny might have used the Super Bowl halftime show to tackle ongoing controversies in the American landscape, the singer choose to instead use the performance as a celebration of both Hispanic and American culture.

At the end of his performance, the 31-year-old even held up a football with the words “together we are America" printed across the side, calling for mutual love and support.

Despite this, Trump raged against Bad Bunny's performance, insisting it had little validity in today's cultural landscape.

"There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven't got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD," Trump ended his message by saying.

What Elmo Had to Say About Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 10:03am

With Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show breaking records with over 135 million viewership, Elmo happened to be one of them. The infamous Muppet character even came up with a new nickname for the native Puerto Rican.

Prior to the Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots, Elmo wished both teams would have fun out on the field. When it came to Bad Bunny's halftime show, the Sesame Street character expressed his delight with his performance.

"That Bunny was AMAZING. Elmo thinks he should be called Good Bunny! Elmo loves you, Mr. Good Bunny!" he said with a few emojis to match.

That Bunny was AMAZING. Elmo thinks he should be called Good Bunny! Elmo loves you, Mr. Good Bunny! ❤️🎶🐰

— Elmo (@elmo) February 9, 2026

The question is whether Bad Bunny's newfound nickname will catch on. Elmo wasn't the only muppet who had fun watching the singer represent Latino culture on one of the biggest stages. Rosita also commented in agreement, saying, "I agree, Elmito," with Elmo commenting a sweet gif of the two of them hugging.

The Sesame Street character became the first bilingual muppet on the show, speaking both Spanish and English. Rosita comes from Mexican descent and is performed by Mexican-American puppeteer and actor Carmen Osbahr.

Some fans also couldn't help but comment in agreement with Elmo, saying, "If Elmo says he’s Good Bunny, then he’s Good Bunny. I don't make the rules."

"Elmo didn’t understand the Spanish either but still felt the vibe. Real ones get it," said another.

One fan even called for Elmo to be next year's performer, saying, "I would be in for an Elmo halftime show next year. We listen to his tooth brushing song every night for bed time. Banger."

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show was packed with tributes to Latino culture, featuring salsa dancing, a real-life wedding, sets inspired by Puerto Rico, nods to Latino-owned businesses like New York’s last Puerto Rican social club, and a star-studded lineup of guests including Ricky Martin, Pedro Pascal, Karol G, Cardi B, plus a surprise performance from Lady Gaga.

Did Jake Paul Walk Back 'Fake American' Bad Bunny Super Bowl Comment?

Mon, 02/09/2026 - 9:49am

Super Bowl LX's Halftime Show made history with its first all-Spanish set. Bad Bunny shared his Puerto Rican pride on a national stage, reminding the audience that America is a continent. He shouted out all the countries within it. Jake Paul claimed he was boycotting the event, but had a very different tone the next morning.

The 29-year-old influencer turned boxer tweeted, "Purposefully turning off the halftime show[.] Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them)[.] You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that."

Logan Paul responded to his brother's message. "I love my brother but I don’t agree with this Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island," he tweeted and quoted his brother's tweet. The boxer started to address his previous tweet on February 9.

"The problem with my tweet is the word fake being misinterpreted he's not a fake citizen obviously [because he's] Puerto Rican and I love Puerto Rico and all Americans who support the country," he wrote. "Moreso Bunny is fake [because] of his values and criticism of our great country." Paul later claimed he loves Puerto Rico and lives there. "But if you’re publicly criticizing ICE who are doing their job and openly hating on America, I’m going to speak on it. Period. That’s the same reason I called out Hunter Hess," he tweeted.

Paul's next tweet, four hours later, has a very different tone. "Guys [I] love bad bunny idk what happened on my twitter last night ?? wtf," he wrote. The world has a very different reaction from Paul. Apple Music revealed the performance is the most-watched Super Bowl performance with 63 million across different forms of content, including live streams and social media clips.
