Iconic '90s Rocker, With No. 1 Hit Song, Turns 73

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 11:00pm

Hard rock in the '90s was filled with talent, but few were able to transform the genre quite like Billy Sheehan.

The legendary bassist, renowned for his role in Mr. Big and their globally successful hit "To Be With You," celebrates his 73rd birthdayThursday.

Born on March 19, 1953, in Buffalo, New York, Sheehan spent decades of his life establishing a reputation as one of rock's most skilled and inventive bass players.

He began his career in the 1970s, leading the bar band Talas, where he honed his musical abilities and gained attention for his electrifying stage presence. He also spent a short time playing with David Lee Roth, but his creative energy was limited, leading him to seek an environment where his talents could thrive.

His career reached a new level when he formed Mr. Big in 1988 alongside guitarist Paul Gilbert, singer Eric Martin, and drummer Pat Torpey. The band's musicianship, alongside their distinct blend of hard rock and soft ballads, helped them stand out in the music industry and gain worldwide fame.

Their greatest breakthrough came with the release of "To Be With You," which reached No. 1 on theBillboardHot 100 in 1992. The primarily acoustic rock song stood apart from the louder, more explosive tracks dominating the era and quickly attracted worldwide attention. This hit, alongside many others, solidified the band's place in music history.

Beyond Mr. Big, Sheehan's career has been remarkably versatile and long-lasting. He has played with major artists including David Lee Roth and later co-founded the supergroup The Winery Dogs, continuing to perform and record well into recent years. His influence on bass playing remains widely recognized, particularly for his speed, precision, and innovative techniques.

Sheehan reflected on his passion for music and performance in an interview on the Mind Behind the Music podcast. "I live to play live, and I play live to live," he said. "I'm about performing live. And I'm mostly a band guy. ... Various guitar players I've played with, we get an instinct. We kind of know where the other guy's going. I know when to pull back and when to push forward. It's an amazing dynamic."

Now celebrating his 73rd birthday, Sheehan's legacy continues to influence generations of rock musicians. While "To Be With You" remains his most recognizable success, his impact extends far beyond a single hit, redefining the sound and possibilities of rock bass.

The same goes for another Instagram user who said, “So Sexy Rod.”

“Yes, sexy indeed,” a commenter added.

From growing up in a working-class family in Highgate, North London, he showed an interest in music and pursued a professional career in the ‘60s.

Stewart’s breakthrough came in 1971 after releasing Every Picture Tells a Story, his third solo studio album, with his signature hits "Maggie May," "Mandolin Wind," "Every Picture Tells a Story," and “Reason to Believe.”

In addition, amid his global fame, the British singer introduced the disco-pop song "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" a smash hit that sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. alone.

Decades later, he is still active in the music industry at 81 and is currently in the middle of his One Last Time World Tour, which officially kicked off on March 13 in Connecticut and will extend through late 2026, covering major cities.

Nancy Guthrie Disappearance: 'The View' Co-Host Reveals Security Concerns

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 10:33pm

As the search for Nancy Guthrie nears the two-month mark, The Viewco-host Sara Haines opened up about potential safety concerns on set.

It remains unclear whether Guthrie's abductors were targeting her daughter, Today host Savannah Guthrie. However, Haines told Page Six that "any concerns [she has] are not new."

"For anyone thinking about their place in the world, it’s always a concern. I think with Savannah Guthrie, we’re still too in it to assess it," she added. "Having worked with Savannah, I can’t get past her part and her mom’s part to even think about my life, myself [and] how it affects the greater world."

Savannah and Sara were former colleagues at NBC. Haines worked on the Today show from 2009 to 2013. Savannah joined in 2012.

"I’m so single-focused on being brought to my knees in pain from a distance watching this," Haines continued. "I want it solved, I want them to figure something out. My heart breaks and I have no words for how hard this is to watch."

The 84-year-old has been missing since February 1 after she was taken from her home against her will in the early morning hours. In footage uncovered from her doorbell security camera, a masked, armed man can be seen tampering with the device.

Investigators are asking the public for help identifying the individual they described as "a male, approximately 5’9” - 5’10” tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack."

In the days following her disappearance, NBC ramped up security on the set of Today.

"Things are tense at the studio, and as a result, NBC has stepped up security for on-air talent," Page Six reported in February. "NBC has partnered with the NYPD to make sure their staff remains safe, out of an abundance of caution."

Jennifer Jason Leigh, 64, Is a Red Carpet Beauty 44 Years After ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High'

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 10:23pm

Jennifer Jason Leigh was a screen icon of the '80s and '90s, but she's better than ever in 2026.

Leigh, 64, became a superstar with her role as Stacy Hamilton in the iconic 1982 teen flick Fast Times at Ridgemont High. But in the years that followed, the blonde beauty proved she's got plenty of talent, thanks to roles in films like Single White Female, Backdraft, Rush, and Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle. A role on Weeds and in the Noah Baumbach film Margot at the Wedding kept her busy during the late aughts, but it was her role as Daisy Domergue in The Hateful Eight that brought her back to critical acclaim, earning her an Academy Award nomination.

Not one to step in front of an endless barrage of cameras, Leigh made a rare red carpet appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix's Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood this week. Dressed in a cream-colored tweed suit, the blond beauty is aging with grace and looks incredible.

What is Something Very Bad is Going to Happen About?

A new horror series starring Adam DiMarco and Camila Morrone, Something Very Bad is Going to Happen follows Rachel, a bride-to-be, "as a dreamy proposal spirals into a slow-burn nightmare, leaving her to suspect that walking down the aisle to marry Nicky (played by DiMarco) may end in something far more sinister than a wedding vow," according to Netflix.

As for Leigh's character, she plays the matriarch of Nicky's family, "a fiercely controlling romantic who’s turned marriage into the family’s ruling religion."

Executive produced by the Duffer Brothers, who are best known for Stranger Things, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen premieres on Netflix on March 26. To check out the trailer, watch below:

What's Next for Jennifer Jason Leigh?

Leigh's work calendar is already piling up with new gigs. Variety reported last week that she just joined the cast of Bishop, a thriller for Prime Video from Amazon MGM Studios. She'll play John Malkovich's sister in the new cop series.

Until then, we can just remember her for her beloved role as Stacy in Fast Times. See you at the mall!

1997 Moment Ranked ‘Top Scene That Defined the ’90s’

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 10:11pm

The ’90s were full of amazing movie moments.

From Drew Barrymore’s CaseyBecker getting slaugthered in teen slasher gem Scream to Matt Damon’s Will Hunting breaking down in a therapy session for Good Will Hunting, the decade is full of scenes that defined a generation.

WatchMojo, a ranking authority on pop culture, understood the nostalgia assignment and delivered a list of the “Top Movie Scenes That Defined the 90’s.” And it’s full of movie moments you’ll remember and quote word for word.

At No. 19, they have The Box from Se7en (1995), referring to the pivotal climax that ties David Fincher’s unforgettable seven deadly sins thriller starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey into a beautifully horrifying bow. On the off chance you haven’t seen the film (or don’t remember the shocking twist), we won’t reveal it here.

At No. 12, the list touts “Circle of Life” from The Lion King. The Disney Vault is brimming with iconic moments in the ’90s, but we have to agree that the opening musical number composed by Elton John and Hans Zimmer for the greatest Disney movie of all time deserves all the flowers. They could just roll credits and we all go home after that moving montage of African beauties gathering at Pride Rock for baby Simba's introduction to the world.

Topping them all is the moment Jack Dawson and his Italian bestie, Fabrizio, hang off the back of a doomed British Olympic-class ocean liner in Titanic. The two, high off a poker win that scores them tickets to America, drop their bags in their bunk then head to the bow of the ship. Jack steps up on the bars of the forecastle deck, stretches out his arms, and yells, “I’m the king of the world!” as the camera swoops above and all around him.

Titanic's Most Iconic Line Was Improvised

The line, improvised by Leonardo DiCaprio after director James Cameron throws him a suggestion via walkie-talkie, wasn’t in the original script. But it was the line heard round the world. Nearly 30 years later, it endures as one of the most iconic lines in cinematic history.

“Director James Cameron came up with it on-set, and despite star Leonardo DiCaprio's reluctance, Cameron insisted,” WatchMojo writes. “But we sense no reluctance in DiCaprio’s delivery: only a young man relishing the absolute bliss and excitement of the present moment.”

View this post on Instagram

Per Today, Cameron explained the scene saying, "I was in a crane basket, and we were losing the light, and we had tried this and we had tried that and tried this line and that line, and nothing was really working, and I literally was just coming up snake eyes.

"I said, 'All right, I got one for you. Just say, “I'm the king of the world,” and just spread your arms out wide and just be in the moment, and just love it and celebrate the moment.’ (DiCaprio) goes, 'What?' I said, “I'm the king of the world,” just say, "I'm the king of the world." But you gotta sell it.' He goes, 'What?' I said, 'Just f------ sell it!'" So, he did.

Titanic Made Movie History

Titanic went on to shatter records both at the box office and at the Oscars. Earning a massive $2,264,812,968 at the worldwide box office, per IMDb, Cameron’s film dominated the 70th Academy Awards with 11 Oscar wins, including Best Picture and Director. It remained the most nominated film with 14 noms for nearly three decades, until Sinners broke the record with 16 nominations last year, Entertainment Weeklyshares.

That's all good and well. But we have a complaint. Not a single Cher Horowitz moment from Clueless made the cut? As if!

Titanic is streaming on Paramount+.

Will Hulu Cancel ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ After Taylor Frankie Paul Controversy?

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 10:09pm

Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette was just three days from its premiere when TMZ released leaked footage from a 2023 domestic violence incident, showing her attacking ex Dakota Mortensen with her daughter in the room. Within hours of the disturbing video appearing online, ABC canceled Season 22.

Related: What Will ABC Air in Place of ‘The Bachelorette?’

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said in a statement.

Paul later responded through her representative, saying that she’s been “silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation” and that she’s “currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story."

Whether that story will unfold on Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives remains unclear. Production on the Hulu series is currently paused, and the streamer has not announced a return date, leaving the show’s future very much in limbo. As scrutiny around Paul intensifies, the question now is whether Hulu will move forward with the series at all, or follow ABC’s lead and step back entirely.

Here’s where things stand currently with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬

Is Hulu going to cancel The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?

As of this writing, Hulu has not canceled The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. However, production on the show has been paused due to an open "domestic assault investigation” involving Paul and Mortensen, tied to alleged incidents on February 24 and 25. A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed to People that "allegations have been made in both directions.”

According to MomTok member Mikayla Matthews, the decision to halt production came from the cast. “We didn’t feel comfortable filming with everything that was happening," she said during an Instagram Q&A on Thursday, March 19.

Since then, video from a 2023 domestic violence incident involving Taylor and Dakota—in which Taylor is seen throwing metal chairs at her ex, one of which struck her young daughter—has leaked, further complicating the show’s future. It’s the kind of “storyline” that would be difficult for both the cast to navigate and audiences to enjoy, after all, raising real questions about whether the series can—or should—continue in its current form.

Will Taylor Frankie Paul get fired from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?

It’s possible the show could continue without Taylor—a scenario she seemed to acknowledge earlier this week.

Prior to ABC pulling The Bachelorette, the MomTok founder addressed the Mormon Wives hiatus on Good Morning America, saying she didn’t know how long the pause would last and that it was “hard to say” what her future on the show might look like.

“It’s hard to see past this, I’m not going to lie,” she said. “In this moment, it’s just so heavy.”

Related: Why Was Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested? Inside the ‘Bachelorette’ Star’s 2023 Assault Case

Meanwhile, People reported that the cast no longer wants to “be associated with her”—and that was before the 2023 video surfaced—suggesting there could be internal pressure for her exit if Hulu doesn’t make that decision outright.

Ultimately, the fate of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives may hinge on several factors: the outcome of the ongoing investigation, the willingness of the cast to continue and how Hulu chooses to respond to the growing backlash. Given that Hulu, like ABC, operates under the Disney umbrella, the network may ultimately decide that stepping away is the safest path forward.

For now, the series remains on pause.

'The Pitt': What Is a Code Hula Hoop?

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 10:05pm

The preview for Season 2, Episode 12 of The Pitt did not give us much to go on for next week, especially after ending Episode 11 on such a horrifying cliffhanger, but it did spark a little curiosity among viewers when one hospital employee told Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) that there was a "Code Hula Hoop in Central 14."

A crowd of scrub-clad workers was making their way toward the room in question, and when Robby heard the news, he took off running, leaving us to wonder, what the heck does that mean?

Why Do They Call a 'Code Hula Hoop' on 'The Pitt'?

A disembodied voice quickly added, "a hospital worker assault," in the official trailer, and seeing as this week's episode ended with sweet new Nurse Emma (Laëtitia Hollard) in a chokehold at the hands of the drunk and disoriented patient in room 14, it seems a reasonable assumption that once her colleagues catch on to her plight, a Code Hula Hoop is what they called to rally the troops on her behalf.

However, it's possible that it's a trick of the editors, and may end up describing something else—such as the need for housekeeping in the aftermath, or the need to restrain the patient in question, or to cordon off the room for a police investigation.

What Is a Hospital Code?

A hospital code refers to a phrase that will be aired over the medical center's PA system to announce a specific type of emergency or warning. There is no uniform set of codes among hospitals to differentiate between varying levels of emergency, although many remain fairly consistent, such as a Code Red for fire or a Code Blue for a cardiac arrest.

For example, earlier this season, a Code Black was called at a nearby hospital when they suffered a cyber attack. In Grey's Anatomy, the same call sign signified a bomb threat. In a hospital in one town, it may instead mean that the facility is at capacity, while another might use it to warn folks that shots have been fired.

Thus, until next week, we can't definitively say what a "Code Hula Hoop" is on The Pitt, but "hospital worker assault" seems the likely bet.

Beloved '80s Rocker Is Suddenly Demanding Payment for Iconic Song

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 9:26pm

Thrash metal legend Gary Holt is making headlines after demanding payment for his unexpected role in one of metal’s most iconic tracks, “Creeping Death.”

In a recent interview with the Heavy Stories podcast, Holt revealed that while he was never officially credited, he believes part of the song’s famous middle section traces back to his own work. His comments, though playful, have sparked fresh conversations about songwriting credits and the early days of thrash metal.

“I should get paid for that,” Holt said with a laugh. “I’ll send my bank info. It’ll be a fat cheque.”

Gary Holt’s Hidden Link to ‘Creeping Death’

The story goes back to the early 1980s, when Holt and Kirk Hammett were both members of the band Exodus. During that time, the group recorded a demo called “Die By His Hand.”

According to Holt, Hammett created the riff, while he contributed the lyrics. Soon after, Hammett left Exodus to join Metallica, stepping in after Dave Mustaine was let go.

Not long after, Metallica released “Creeping Death” on their 1984 album Ride the Lightning and that’s where things get interesting.

Holt says the famous chant in the song’s middle section was inspired by his original lyric.

“It’s Kirk’s riff, it’s my lyrics,” Holt explained. “The song was ‘dying by his hand,’ and they changed it to ‘die by my hand.’”

Despite the similarity, Holt made it clear he doesn’t actually own any part of the song. “Those were Kirk’s riffs, and he was more than welcome to them,” he added. “I had zero ownership of any of that.”

Holt’s playful tone didn’t hide his point, though. He’s never been credited for the contribution and he knows it.

“I’ve never been credited, so yeah, that’ll tell you how I feel,” he said, laughing again.

For longtime fans, the story adds a new layer to “Creeping Death,” one of Metallica’s most loved songs. It also shines a light on how songs can evolve as band members move and ideas travel.

Today, Holt remains a major force in metal music. As the longtime guitarist of Exodus, he helped shape the sound of thrash alongside bands like Metallica and others from the same era.

Even now, at 61, Holt is still touring, recording and connecting with a new generation of fans. He recently shared that younger audiences are showing up to shows in big numbers, proving that thrash metal is far from fading.

“I’m a super happy guy,” Holt said in another interview with Metal Talk. “Music is a way to get things off your chest.”

Popular Movie Based On Children's Book Series Was Released 16 Years Ago Today

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 9:10pm

"Zoo wee mama!"

Most of Generation Z and possibly even their parents remember the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Written by Jeff Kinney, the series of children's novels follows the life of middle school student Greg Heffley, who draws and writes his life through cartoons and diary entries. The first book, which was published in 2007, has since grown into a large franchise with numerous stories, including Rodrick Rules, Dog Days and The Getaway, as well as expanded into movies and other media. Selling over 300 million copies, Diary of a Wimpy Kid revolutionized literature by popularizing the illustrated "hybrid" novel format, engaging young children to read and defining the Gen Z pre-adolescent experience.

"Diary of a Wimpy Kid came about from my failure to become a newspaper cartoonist," Kinney admitted in a Disney+ interview. "I really just wanted to write, sort of, a long-form comic. It was the story of my life through a funhouse mirror."

Currently, there are 20 Diary of a Wimpy Kid books published, with the most recent being Partypooper in October 2025. A 21st book, titled Fight or Flight, is scheduled to be released this October.

Books are displayed during bestselling author Jeff Kinney's launch of 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid #18: No Brainer' at El Segundo Performing Arts Center on October 24, 2023, in El Segundo, California.

The film adaptation of the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid was announced in December 2008, almost two years after the book was published, with Thor Freudenthal signing as a director. Before production started in August 2009, Zachary Gordon joined the cast to play Greg and Rachael Harris played his mother. Other cast members included Robert Capron, Devon Bostick, Chloë Grace Moretz, Steve Zahn, Ryan Grantham and Grayson Russell.

When the movie premiered 16 years ago by 20th Century Fox,Diary of a Wimpy Kid grossed $76 million total. Though it received mixed reviews, its success spawned a franchise, including three additional live-action sequels and five animated films. A book detailing the film's creation process, titled The Wimpy Kid Diary, was published the same year in 2010.

"Jeff wrote it for the kids, but I found it to be kind of like a memoir for us, of everything we did," Capron, who plays Greg's best friend, Rowley Jefferson, in the films, told Sarah Backstage Pass about The Wimpy Kid Diary. "[Kinney] drew the director…he drew the producers. My mom was in there too! They even drew my dad in there."

Robert Capron and Zachary Gordon attend the premiere of "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid" at the Ziegfeld Theatre on March 4, 2010 in New York City.

Three more movies for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid were released in 2011, 2012 and 2017 respectively. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules was in theaters in March 2011, and it was based on the second book in the series, Rodrick Rules. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days was released on August 3, 2012, and is based on the third and fourth books from the series, The Last Straw and Dog Days. Lastly, a film based on The Long Haul was released in May 2017 that featured a new cast starring Jason Drucker, Alicia Silverstone and Tom Everett Scott, but received negative reviews.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid can be streamed on Disney+, as well as rented for $3.99 on YouTube, Google Play Movies, Amazon Prime Video and Fandango at Home.

‘Mormon Wives’ Star Jessi Draper Ngatikaura Hit With Divorce Filing

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 9:09pm

The drama surrounding The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives isn’t slowing down anytime soon—this time, it’s Jessi Draper Ngatikaura at the center of it.

According to online court records obtained by TMZ on Thursday, March 19, Jessi’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce in Utah that same day after five years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in October 2020, have had a rocky relationship in the public eye which was a huge talking point in Season 4 of Mormon Wives. They’ve also had multiple separations over the years before ultimately reconciling.

Jordan addressed the split in a statement to the outlet, saying, “This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”

He continued, “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”

The former couple share two children together—a son and a daughter—along with Jordan’s daughter from a previous relationship.

Fans of the reality series had already speculated that trouble was brewing after the pair listed their Salt Lake City home.

And Jessi isn’t the only one in the extended Mormon Wives universe facing major headlines right now. Taylor Frankie Paul, arguably the show’s most talked-about personality, recently saw her Bachelorette season scrapped by ABC following resurfaced allegations of domestic violence involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

The decision came after a newly surfaced video, also released by the outlet, appeared to show Paul assaulting her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement.

Miley Cyrus Picked Up This 'Terrible Habit' of Dolly Parton's

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 8:56pm

Miley Cyrus is relishing in a renaissance of her own design as the Disney Channel series that launched her career celebrates its twentieth anniversary, and it's all thanks to the influence of her beloved godmother, Dolly Parton.

Ahead of the premiere of the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special next week, the "Flowers" songstress offered a little bit of insight into how it all came together, which involved a whole lot of flying by the seat of her pants, seeing as when she first started teasing "special" plans for the big day, there was absolutely nothing in the works.

It's a neat trick she learned from the "Jolene" songstress (remember when she manifested Beyonce's cover of the hit country track?), though Cyrus joked it was a "terrible habit" in a new interview with Variety.

"I actually think it was good advice...from Dolly," she clarified. “She told me that if you want something to happen, promote it before it exists. Then no one can say no." She took it to heart and began pushing the project "that literally did not exist,"  drawing in her loyal fanbase and building an impressive amount of hype that she was then able to harness in her favor.

She told executives at Disney that the project "would be huge," sending them fan reactions as proof and "will[ing] it into existence," as Disney exec Charlie Andrews described it. His job involves building new fandoms for old shows, and his team started working on the anniversary special just a few months ago, launching into a "mad dash" to bring her vision to life.

Now, in addition to the anniversary special airing on Disney+ on March 24—which was filmed in front of a live studio audience and includes an interview with Cyrus and revisits some of the iconic sets from the series—Cyrus has reportedly pulled a bit of a Taylor Swift, with various reports suggesting she's rerecorded a select few classic Hannah Montana tracks to accompany the special. However, there's not yet any official word on what songs, nor whether they may become available on streaming—it's possible they were just performed live during the special.

Trader Joe’s Just Dropped an Easter Treat Cadbury Fans Will Want ASAP

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 8:49pm

If you’re someone who stocks up on Cadbury Mini Eggs every spring, Trader Joe’s just dropped a new treat that might earn a spot in your Easter lineup.

The grocery chain’s Speckled Egg Milk Chocolate Bars are already catching attention for their resemblance to the beloved seasonal candy, but with a twist. Instead of grabbing handfuls of the addicting mini eggs from a bag, these bars flip the concept: the eggs are tucked inside the chocolate.

Each package comes with two bars, and each bar is divided into five snappable sections. Per the website, inside every piece is a pastel-colored, candy-coated chocolate egg—basically delivering that same crunchy shell and creamy milk chocolate combo fans love. And at just $2.99, it’s an easy add-to-cart moment.

The fan-favorite grocer says that the bars are made with Belgian milk chocolate, with the speckled shells colored from natural sources like spirulina, turmeric, and annatto extract—not artificial dyes.

And they’re not the only Trader Joe’s item getting buzz right now.

Shoppers are also raving about the new Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites, a frozen dessert that’s quickly becoming a fan favorite online. The bite-sized treats feature creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough.

Fans say the texture contrast is what really sells it, with the soft, slightly gooey cookie dough on the outside and the cold, creamy center inside. The only complaint seems to be there aren’t enough in the bag.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s Relationship Timeline — And What Led to Her ‘Bachelorette’ Firing

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 8:48pm

And the rose goes to...no one! Yes, mere days before its March 22 premiere, The Bachelorette season 22 was cancelled due to domestic assault allegations against its star, Taylor Frankie Paul, following leaked videos of a physical altercation between The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” ABC told Parade in a statement on March 19.

The taped incident led to Paul's arrest in 2023 for misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, after she was accused of throwing a chair at Mortensen that hit her daughter. The reality star is currently serving a three-year probation.

However, the recent cancellation by The Bachelorette's parent network ABC is just the latest in a tumultuous few years for the on-and-off-again couple. Here's a look back at Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s drama-filled romance.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s relationship timelineMay 2022

Taylor Frankie Paul takes to TikTok to publicly announce her split from Tate Paul, to whom she was married since 2016 and shares two children, Indy and Ocean. The separation announcement dropped amidst the couple's "soft-swinging" scandal, in which they reportedly experimented sexually with a group of other couples in the Mormon influencer space known as "MomTok."

With the end of one relationship came the start of another: In summer 2022, Paul soft-launched her burgeoning relationship with Mortensen, again via her TikTok handle: “Been heartbroken twice this summer and this cute sweet mf comes out of nowhere,” she wrote. Mortensen himself revealed the identity of the mystery man by cheekily commenting: “Lucky guy whoever he is.”

Sike! Just a few short weeks later, Taylor and Dakota were back together and, yes, posting jokey TikTok videos about their reunion. In a comment beneath the post, she answered: “We did break up for a couple weeks, but decided we want to try things and not chance losing each other.”

February 2023

And now for the legal issues: On February 17, Paul was arrested for domestic violence against Mortensen following a fiery fight between the couple. She was ultimately charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief after the incident, though all but the aggravated assault charge was dismissed. She reached a plea deal in March 2023. The arrest and subsequent scandal play out on Paul's Hulu reality show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

The couple welcomed son Ever True Mortensen, "our angel sent from heaven," on March 19, 2024. Of the birth, Paul shared on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that Dakota "was such a good partner in the process and very supportive.” The mom of three added: “I’m like, on cloud nine, and this is like the first time I’ve been so confident in us, in a future. I just — I hope that I can trust him.”

September 2024

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered on Hulu on September 6, 2024, bringing a spotlight onto Taylor and Dakota's relationship, including cheating claims made against both parties. For his part, Mortensen denied the rumors that he stepped out on Taylor with Jenna Jarvis, posting a TikTok video with the caption: "All that matters is my family at this point. Have i made dumb mistakes in my life? Yes. But idgaf anymore i am not my past."

In an Us Weekly cover story, Paul revealed that rewatching her turbulent romance with Dakota on the Hulu reality series was "probably one of the hardest moments" of her life. As for the pair's relationship status at that point, the Secret Lives star said: "“I would say we’re working on things and I actually have no idea where it goes with us from here. We are not fully together, but not fully done. I don’t know where the future holds with him and I.”

December 2024

By December, however, it looks like Taylor had more clarity about where things stood between her and Dakota: She posted a teary TikTok formally announcing their split, with the caption: “Chaos to pure silence. Wouldn’t wish this pain upon anyone, if you’re there take a drive, scream, cry, feel the pain, because I promise avoiding it will make it much worse.”

Wishing nothing but the best for you,” she captioned the sweet pic.

Though Taylor confirmed that the exes had hooked up during that Stagecoach reunion a few months prior, she also revealed during a Call Her Daddy podcast appearance that their relationship was "over." Cementing that fact was the announcement that Paul was chosen as The Bachelorette for the ABC program's twenty-second season. Mortensen, meanwhile, seemingly wasn't too happy with the news and took to TikTok with his displeasure.

‘90s Metal Band Announces Departure of Key Member for Personal Reasons

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 8:42pm

Exhorder, the American heavy metal band, delivered a surprising announcement to fans ahead of their highly anticipated U.S. tour.

Amid the growing excitement, the four-member band revealed a shift in their lineup as drummer Sasha Horn has exited the group.

Following his eight years with Exhorder, the veteran heavy metal drummer is taking a break to focus on his personal life.

In an official statement shared on their official Instagram, they reassured fans that everything is still on track, especially the scheduled activities in the coming months, despite major changes.

Following Horn’s departure, the band announced that Corey Pierce from New Jersey metalcore band God Forbid will step in as their touring drummer.

Sasha Horn of Exhorder performs at Great American Music Hall on July 13, 2023 in San Francisco, California.

“This decision does not impact our touring plans in any way, as we have been fortunate enough to secure the help of God Forbid legend, Corey Pierce. Corey will join us on the Tour of Unsound Minds this coming month, so we are in good hands! We are excited to jam with Corey and to bring our live show back to the eastern states for the first time in 2026,” the caption reads.

View this post on Instagram

The post also includes Horn’s message to fans who have supported him and the band for nearly a decade.

According to him, the decision was made to prioritize his time with family, pursue further education and personal creative endeavors.

“After eight and a half years, two albums and countless touring cycles, it is time for me to permanently step away from my position at Exhorder. All things have come to that split in the path. Best wishes to the guys moving forward. As for myself, I am in search of more time with family, continuing education and a focus on my own personal creative endeavors. So much love to all of my fans, you mean the world to me. I shall see you again when I'm back out in it.

This is not a farewell, this is a time-out,” he said.

As the band entered a new phase, they shared plans to shift their energy toward creating their next album and scouting for a new drummer.

“As we have finally completed a two-year touring cycle of Defectum Omnium, our canvas is clear and we are excited about following up with our fifth album’s writing process. The search for a permanent drummer is underway. All of our best to Sasha in his journey and we thank him for the time, contributions and sacrifices he made alongside us for all of these years. Best of luck and nothing but love from us moving forward. Jason, Pat and Kyle,” the statement says.

The post sparked a wave of support from fans, many of whom wished Horn well and praised the band’s decision to invite the God Forbid legend.

“Thanks, Sasha, but great choice for a tour replacement,” one wrote.

“Great fit! Corey rules,” a fan echoed.

“Wishing the best to Sasha!!” a follower said.

“Thanks for 8 years of drumming insanity, Sasha. All the best for the future. Keep rockin’” a commenter added.

Earlier this month, Exhorder announced their upcoming U.S. spring tour with Skinlab.

Dubbed as The Tour Of Unsound Minds, the band will hit the road throughout April, kicking off in West Virginia and wrapping up in Michigan.

Country Superstar Tim McGraw Credits This ‘90s Album for Changing His Career

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 8:39pm

Country superstar Tim McGraw has been entertaining fans for over two decades. The singer has over 26 hit songs and is still making music today.

McGraw burst onto the country scene back in the 1990s with his album Not a Moment Too Soon. His song “Indian Outlaw" was the first big hit from that album which reached the Top 10, but the song “Don’t Take The Girl” is considered McGraw’s breakout song, becoming the No. 1 hit and establishing him as a major player in the genre.

While fans may look at Not a Moment Too Soon as the album that launched McGraw’s career, the singer has another take on things and credits another album for the success he's seen over the years.

In an Instagram post, McGraw revealed the album that he feels changed the course of his career. Turns out, it wasn't Nota Moment Too Soon but rather his 1997 album, Everywhere.

“I really think this album changed the trajectory of my career, my first time really taking the reins in the studio and digging into new sounds and emotions, a lot of heart and soul went into it!” he wrote as the caption on the social media post.

View this post on Instagram

McGraw shared a carousel of photos to highlight Everywhere, including photos of him from various photoshoots and performing on stage back in the day, along with lyrics to the hit song of the same name. The country crooner also shared a photo of a message he shared during that time about his good fortune and the year filled with change.

“There has been a lot of changes this year in both my personal life and in business. I want to thank everyone that I worked with in my career so far. You’ve contributed so much to me as an entertainer, artist, and as a human being. Thank God for my wife coming into my life and our new miracle. I am truly blessed,” he stated.

Fans will recall that his first duet with wife Faith Hill, “It’s Your Love,” was also featured on the Everywhere album. That song became a mega hit for the couple, elevating their careers to a whole new level.

McGraw’s other major songs from that album include “Where the Green Grass Grows," "One of These Days,” and “Just to See You Smile."

1963 Hit Ranked Among 'Greatest Songs of All Time' Became the Ultimate Party Anthem

Thu, 03/19/2026 - 8:33pm

If you were a teenager in the '60s, chances are you danced to the same song at just about every school dance or party you attended: The Kingsmen's iconic "Louie Louie." (You probably didn't know what the singer was actually saying, but it didn't matter.)

In the years since the perennially catchy tune first rose to the top of the charts, the song's status as a classic has been officially documented in multiple ways, with honors from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Recording Industry Association of America. There's even an International Louie Louie Day, celebrated every year on April 11.

So of course it makes sense that Rolling Stone included "Louie Louie" on their "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list, ranking it #54 and praising the track as a "blast of raw guitars and half-intelligible shouting recorded for $52. RS went on to note that "the Kingsmen's cover of Richard Berry's R&B song hit Number Two in 1963 — thanks in part to supposedly pornographic lyrics that drew the attention of the FBI."

That's right...Jack Ely's singing on the track was so famously unintelligible that the FBI launched a full investigation into the possibility of the song's lyrics being obscene. As The New Yorker reported, the investigation "dragged on through 1965, with each laboratory examination of the record deemed inconclusive: no one could determine what Ely was singing, so the record couldn’t be declared obscene."

The real lyrics are as innocent as can be:

"Louie, Louie / Oh, no, me gotta go / Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, baby / Louie, Louie / Oh, baby, me gotta go / Okay, let's give it to 'em, right now"

The reason why the vocals on the track are so difficult to understand is because of the way the song was recorded — with all the musicians crowded around a single microphone hanging from the ceiling.

"I was yelling at a mike far away," Ely told Rolling Stone. "I always thought the controversy was record-company hype."

Interestingly enough, there is technically an "obscenity" in the song, but it's not part of the actual lyrics (and it's pretty tough to hear). About 56 seconds in, Lynn Easton drops his drumstick and yells "F—k!" Somehow, though, the FBI never noticed that part.
