Maine Coon Kittens' Incredible Growth Over Just 2 Weeks Is Too Cute to Resist
When most of us think about Maine Coons, we're probably thinking about the giant, fluffy cats they become, and it's so easy to forget they started out as little kittens. Whether you adopted your cat at eight weeks old or you've been caring for an even younger one at home, you know how quickly they change. It's like it happens overnight!
So seeing the Maine Coons of this litter growing up so fast may get you in the heart... or it might make you relieved that you are out of the messy kitten phase. Your call!
@wildmane_mainecoonsGrowing too fast #mainecoon #kitten #mainecoonkitten #cutekitten #kittenlovers
♬ original sound - 🤍This time, @wildmane_mainecoons is back to show off her latest litter (and to give me extra material to use to convince my dad that they need to add a new kitten or five to their family.)
The first video in the TikTok shows the kittens — whose names are Nugget, Snickers, Bean, Biscuit, and Cocoa — as brand new babies.
At first, their eyes aren't even open, and they're letting out a few more yelps than we might have expected — of course, they did practice their tiny meows — and that just makes it all the more striking when we see just how much they grew over the first two weeks of life in the clips that followed! The difference is huge... and very, very cute.

How Fast Do Maine Coons Grow?Since Maine Coon cats belong to one of the largest breeds of domestic cats, of course, these kittens were never meant to stay little for long... but how quickly are they supposed to grow?
As Savvy Cats points out, it does take these cats a bit longer to grow (some of them still won't have reached their adult size by their first birthday) but that's because they have a long way to go. You saw that picture of the newborn kitten on that TikTok video!
But that first year is when most of the growth takes place (especially in the first six months) so you'll want to make sure that you're keeping the portions of cat food you're feeding the regularly updated — there's a good chance you'll go through it all faster than you think!
There are a lot of different factors that play into the size your cat will be, including their own genetics. But big or tiny, it's hard not to fall in love with cats who are as adorable as these... no matter how much chaos they must be causing at home.

Dog Mom Gets Another Golden Retriever to Keep Her Clingy Pup Busy—and the Result Is Hilariously Unexpected
If you’ve ever had a Velcro dog, you know the drill. Sit down? They’re there. Stand up? Still there. Try to go to the bathroom alone? Absolutely not.
So when one golden retriever mom noticed her pup was a little too attached—constantly staring at her like she was sending a telepathic demand for attention—she came up with what seemed like the perfect solution: get another dog.
🐶SIGN UP to get “pawsitivity” delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾
In a YouTube Short from @gamjamypotato, we see just how that plan played out—and let’s just say it didn’t exactly go as expected.
Get Another Golden, They Saidhttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/dLPl4QK8f2g
At the start of the video, her first golden retriever is already glued to her side, watching her every move with laser focus. It’s that classic “waiting for something to happen” stare. It's equal parts adorable and a little intense.
Hoping to give her pup a playmate—and maybe regain a little personal space—she brings home a second golden retriever.
The idea? The two dogs would keep each other entertained.
Related: Senior Golden Retriever Adopted Just in Time—and It’s Making Everyone Emotional
Two Dogs, Same MissionInstead of distracting each other, the two goldens quickly team up and redirect all of their attention right back to their human.
Now, instead of one dog staring at her constantly, she has two—both waiting, watching and clearly expecting her to do something for them.
And they’re not subtle about it either. The dogs literally press their heads together as they stare, as if coordinating their efforts for maximum impact.
Viewers Couldn’t Get EnoughPeople in the comments were quick to relate and laugh.
“I like how their heads have to be glued together for it to work,” one person joked.
Another added, “I have four of my own so I also constantly have dogs staring at me 😂!!! But I wouldn’t change it for the world!”
And of course, some viewers had one obvious suggestion: just add a third dog and see what happens.
Not Exactly the Outcome She ExpectedWhile the original goal may have been a little more independence, what she ended up with was double the love, double the loyalty—and yes, double the staring.
But honestly? There are way worse problems to have.
For anyone considering getting a second dog to “fix” a Velcro pup, this is your gentle reminder: sometimes, it won't solve the problem—it just multiplies it in the cutest way possible.

Unique Persian-Ragdoll Cat Besties Grooming Each Other Look Like Two Fluffy Tumbleweeds
My favorite kinds of animals are the super fluffy ones, which is ironic. I have three short-haired dogs, some birds, and a bunch of reptiles! There is zero fluff in my life, so I end up simply living vicariously through everyone else.
Most recently, these two Persian-Ragdoll cats. The two of them have so much fluff that they have to work together to manage it all. When they were caught on camera doing exactly that, they looked like two big tumbleweeds:

These two cats are precious. Charles is the older brother of the pair, and he spends most of his time doing whatever Charlotte says. She loves it when he helps her groom all of her fur, because if she had to do it herself, she'd be busy all day! Luckily, he doesn't mind!
When these two tumbleweeds aren't grooming each other, they spend a lot of time messing up all of the work they just did. They love messing around and getting stuck in places they shouldn't, like on ladders:

The Persian cat only looks grumpy. In reality, they're sweet, loving cats who blend in well with families and can even coexist with other pets! Ragdoll cats are the same way! Combining them makes a cat who's:
- Adorable.
- Ultra-fluffy.
- Very unique.
- Adventurous.
Persian-Ragdoll cats are easygoing: they typically don't mind being picked up, cuddled, or even brought out for walks. They never want to miss a moment... Until they're grooming their massive amounts of fur!

Rescue German Shepherd Puppy Survives Horrible Head Injury and 'Proves Everyone Wrong' By Thriving
Niall Harbison comes across some seriously injured street dogs through his Thailand animal rescue, Happy Doggo. There are canines with such extensive illnesses or physical damage that seem almost impossible to overcome, yet these fearless fur babies often bravely fight their way back to health.
Stormzy the German Shepherd puppy mix was severely injured after being hit by a car at the end of last year. While his prognosis was grim, Stormzy defied the odds and overcame near-impossible challenges.
View this post on InstagramStormzy suffered extensive brain damage when he was struck by a car, and euthanization seemed the most humane option for the precious puppy. But the courageous canine was committed to beating the odds and worked tirelessly at his recovery.
In the Instagram from @wearehappydoggo, Harbison shared Stormy's remarkable journey from tragedy to triumph.
"They said the kindest thing was to let him go, but we saw something in his eyes," the onscreen text read as Harbison and his team held daily physical therapy sessions with Stormzy, helping him relearn basic life skills like holding his head up and standing.
Their commitment to Stormzy paid off. Soon, the brave little fur baby achieved a milestone that was originally considered impossible.
"Then one day, he took his first steps... and a few more," the story continued. "A little wobbly, but he got better and better."
How Is Stormzy Today? The rescue pup made incredible progress thanks to his resilience and the Happy Doggo team's dedication. Stormzy was finally ready for adoption and now lives with his forever family, enjoying life to the fullest. The Instagram video shared clips of Stormzy in full healthy form, running on the beach.
"Now he's unstoppable," the text raved.
Harbison noted Stormzy's remarkable recovery and the importance of patience when healing is involved.
"Miracles take time — and Stormzy is proof," he said in the caption. "From not being able to lift his head to sprinting on the beach in his forever home. He proved everyone wrong."

Dachshund's Impromptu Napping Spot Makes Him the Cutest 'Silly Goose'
Finding the perfect place to nap is serious business when you're a dog, especially if you are Walter the Dachshund. He takes his napping and sun bathing time mosre serious than most.
There's a TikTok where Walter's discovered what might be the most awkward napping position ever attempted by a canine. The caption just says, "Such a silly goose!" which honestly doesn't even begin to cover what's happening here.
Walter's chasing the warmth of the sunshine around the house—as Dachshunds often do—and he's found the absolute perfect patch of sunshine. But here's the thing: the geometry of this particular sun spot requires some creative problem-solving and neck breaking contorting on Walter’s part.
So Walter's... well, he's taking sunbathing to an entire new level. Is he sitting? Standing? Lying down? Who knows? It’s somehow a demonstration of all three simultaneously. Whatever it is, it’s not for the faint of heart or unflexible.
@meghanlmileskisuch a silly goose #minidachshund #minidachshundpuppy #doxie #puppy #dachshundsoftiktok
♬ This Is The Life Demo Hannah Montana - out of context hannah montanaPeople in the comments are seriously baffled by Walter’s Cirque du Soleil level contortion abilities.
"Sitting, standing and lying all at once," somebody wrote, attempting to describe the physics of Walter's position.
"That is very Dachshund of him" captured the breed-specific commitment to sun-chasing regardless of logistics.
"He's SO CUTE I'm obsessed with him" was the general reaction.
Related: French Bulldog With Ear Bling Gets Starbucks Pup Cup—'I Know a Baddie When I See One'
"Wherever the sun is, that's where you'll find a Dachshund 😂," stated the universal truth.
This review came in: "9.5/10 would nap there again."
Dachshunds Are Dedicated Sunbathers Who Will Contort Themselves for WarmthHere's why Walter's willing to basically fold himself in half for some sunshine: dogs are genuinely drawn to warmth. After sleeping or being in a cool spot, a patch of sunlight feels amazing to them like us jumpoing into a warm bed after a cold day. It helps regulate their body temperature and just makes them comfortable.
Sunshine provides vitamin D, which is necessary for dogs for healthy bones and overall body function. Walter's not being lazy—he's actually loading up on valuable nutrients.
For dogs, especially smaller breeds like Dachshunds, that warmth can feel particularly good on muscles and joints. It's like nature’s heating pad.
🐶SIGN UP to get “pawsitivity” delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾
There's also an instinct thing happening. Wild canine ancestors sought out warm, safe spots to rest. That behavior never left, it just evolved. Walter's following programming that goes back thousands of years.
Sunshine genuinely boosts mood by increasing serotonin levels, which affects how dogs and humans feel. That blissed-out expression on Walter's awkwardly positioned face? He's actually feeling incredible despite looking ridiculously uncomfortable.
Dachshunds will follow the sun's movement through the house all day, moving themselves to stay in the sunshine’s warmth.
Walter found his happy spot filled with vitamin D and warm rays of sunshine. The fact that maintaining this optimum suncatching position requires bending like a pretzel? Irrelevant. The sun is there. Therefore, so is Walter.
Silly goose indeed.
Parrot Cracking Open a Can for Mom Proves He Has Serious Beak Strength
Birds are a little bit terrifying, especially as you get into the larger breeds. They're so smart, and they have such strong beaks! One wrong move and they could do some serious damage!
If you don't believe me, just look at this video: a bird mom had her Blue-and-Gold Macaw crack open a can of sparkling water. He did it with no hesitation, and he proved that you do not want to get on his bad side:

The best part of the entire video was how he looked at her after, like he was waiting for her to thank him! Just because he has an insane bite force doesn't mean she gets to be impolite! He's such a good boy that some commenters are wondering if they can hire him.

What Is a Macaw's Bite Force?A lot of people are shocked to discover that Parrots have some of the strongest bites in the world. Macaws, being some of the biggest Parrots, have incredibly strong bites.
Blue-and-Gold Macaw with his mouth open.Image via Shutterstock / kwanza
A full-grown Blue-and-Gold Macaw's bite force ranges from 250-600PSI, depending on the birds. Male birds and larger ones tend to have stronger bites. That's a stronger bite than some large-breed dogs! Macaws have very strong, sharp beaks to help them crack open hard fruits, seeds, and nuts in the wild.
What to Do If You're Bitten by a MacawIf you find yourself on the receiving end of a bite, you'll need to start treating the wound right away. If they bit you hard enough to break the skin, head to an urgent care as quickly as possible; you'll probably need stitches and a tetanus shot.
Though it might be hard, you should try not to freak out: that might make the bird even more agitated. Calmly put them up in their cage and then go. Preventing bites is also important:
- Regularly interact with the bird and pick them up often.
- Start training when they're young.
- Make sure they're not bored all day, since boredom can cause aggression.
- Never try to pick them up during mealtime.
Luckily, Rico reserves his bite force for cans of sparkling water. He must be fun at parties!

Grooming a Maine CoonMaine Coons are moderate to heavy shedders and require regular grooming because of their thick, double-layered coats. While they shed year-round, they experience heavy shedding in spring and fall. Regular, frequent brushing is necessary to prevent matting and to manage the significant amount of hair they produce, especially around their belly and hind legs. Experts suggest beginning the grooming process when they are kittens so they can adapt more easily.
It looks like Winnie lives in a nice house, so the heck with it! Let that girl sashay away! Her pet parents obviously keep things nice and clean!
I must say, I have a thing for Maine Coons. They are gentle giants with friendly, dog-like personalities. They are super intelligent, trainable, and known for vocalizing with unique chirps and trills.
With that, I’d probably struggle living with this breed of cat, as they can weigh up to 25 to 30 pounds, and if I can’t pick them up and snuggle with them, I’ll just stick to admiring these gentle giants on the internet.
And boy, do I admire Winnie!
Bunny Grew up With Dogs and Now He Acts Just Like Them
Pets are surprisingly good at picking up habits from the animals they live with, but one bunny has taken that idea to a whole new level. After growing up in a house full of dogs, this little rabbit seems fully convinced he is just another member of the bow-wow crew.
And judging by the way he plays with toys, he might not be entirely wrong.

Not only that, he is carrying it exactly the same way the dogs do.
The caption explains the situation perfectly.
“My rabbit really thinks he is a dog. He even got his own toy.”
In the video, all four animals trot into the room proudly holding their toys. Then the bunny pauses and does something that made viewers lose their minds.
He shakes his toy just like a dog.
The quick little head shake instantly convinced people in the comments that this rabbit has officially joined the pack.
“That little head shake got me convinced. That’s a dang Pit Bun,” one person joked.
Another commenter pointed out the obvious life lesson happening here.
“Proof you are who you hang around.”
Many viewers could not get over the bunny copying the dogs so perfectly.
“That head shake.”
“I can only imagine how fast he thought he shook that stuffed animal.”
Others noticed the sound of everyone running around together.
“It’s a whole lot of pitter-patter going on.”
And one viewer summed up the bunny’s likely perspective.
“He’s like, what… there are big dogs and small dogs, and I’m obviously a small dog.”
Can Dogs and Bunnies Get Along? Little brown rabbit with mouth open.Image Via: Arlee.P/Shutterstock
Dogs and rabbits can sometimes live together peacefully, but it depends heavily on the personalities of both animals and how they are introduced.
Dogs are natural predators, so their instincts may cause them to chase smaller animals like rabbits. However, with careful supervision and proper training, many dogs learn to coexist safely with bunny companions.
It is important that rabbits always have a safe space where they can hide if they feel overwhelmed. Supervised interactions and calm, well-trained pups make successful friendships much more likely.
Every situation is different, but stories like this show that some animals truly do grow up seeing each other as family.
Do Bunnies Need Toys? Gray French Lop Rabbit with a chew toy.Image Via: Mariska van Dasselaar/Shutterstock
Just like dogs and cats, rabbits benefit greatly from having toys to play with. Toys provide mental stimulation and help prevent boredom, especially for rabbits who live indoors.
Many rabbits enjoy tossing toys, chewing on safe materials, or pushing objects around with their noses. Simple items like cardboard tubes, wooden chew toys, or stuffed toys can become favorites.
For this particular bunny, though, it looks like the preferred style of play was learned directly from the household dogs.
And if the head shake is any indication, he is taking his role as the smallest member of the dog pack very seriously.

Cat Gets Caught in a Pen Full of Puppies and Their Welcome Is So Warm
Contrary to popular belief, cats and dogs can get along under the right circumstances. I have three dogs who definitely would not do well with cats, but that's my own fault. We have never introduced them to one.
When cats and dogs are properly introduced, they can learn to tolerate and even love each other. For one cat, her love of puppies even goes further... When she found a pen full of puppies, she straight up stole them:

She was not expecting this cat to climb into the pen and basically let the puppies bury her in snuggles, but they did. The cat's name is KeKe, and in this video, she was actually pregnant with her own babies. The puppies were a practice run!

Shy Shih-Poo's First Day Care Experience Is Pure Magic
Not all dogs are social butterflies, but that doesn't mean they don't want to make friends. ♬ Haircut - Gmac Cash Tips To Ensure Doggy Day Care SuccessHaving gone through the doggy day care thing with my girl, Tater, I'm now more educated on what would've made her experience as great as Judah's (live and learn). It's important to research the options, so you're not leaving your dog with just anyone.
A facility with a trained staff who actually cares about the dogs is a priority. Second to that, you want to make sure your pup is matched to the appropriate playgroup with dogs similar in size and energy. Bringing along familiar items, like a toy or blankie, can help them relax, but not all day cares allow them (something I didn't know at first).
Day cares that provide nap times to avoid overstimulation, snacks, water, and cozy places to take a breather are also important. You don't want to find out later that your baby was thirsty all day. And finally, give it a short trial visit to see how your dog responds, because once you drop them off, it's out of your hands.
All of that aside, the right place can do wonders for bringing a shy dog like Judah out of their shell, and they might even have fun.

Dogs vs cats is an age-old rivalry, but it doesn't have to be. Plenty of different species can live in harmony under the same roof if the right amount of care is taken to introduce them at a gradual pace.
Related: Siamese Kitten's Sweet Friendship With Fawn Is a Straight-Up Disney Movie
Introducing a dog and a cat sounds like the setup to a joke, but in real life, it’s more of a slow burn than a meet-cute. The key is not throwing them together and hoping for the best—this is a gradual, controlled situation where everyone keeps their dignity (and ideally, their face).
First things first: personality matters. Not every dog is meant to live with a cat, and not every cat is interested in coexisting with what they may view as a chaotic roommate.
The introduction itself should happen in phases, not all at once. Start with scent swapping (yes, glamorous), then move to supervised, on-leash meetings where everyone pretends to ignore each other. That’s actually the goal—calm indifference is a huge win here.
Eventually, if things stay peaceful, you can work your way up to short, unsupervised time together. But this is a “weeks, not hours” situation. Think slow trust-building, not instant friendship.
Also important: read the room. If your dog is locked in like it’s watching the final play of the Super Bowl, or your cat has fully committed to a life under the bed, it’s time to pause and reassess.
The good news? A lot of dogs and cats do figure it out—and some even become actual friends. So, there's hope for Fez and his frenemy! The secret is patience, realistic expectations, and accepting that “peaceful coexistence” is sometimes the real happy ending.

6 National Puppy Day 2026 Tips from Cesar Millan
Every day is a chance to honor the special dog in your life, but National Puppy Day makes it official. Celebrated each year at the end of March, this holiday is designed to refelct the love that puppies bring. The best ways to celebrate includes pampering your pooch and supporting shelters.
You probably already do what you can to make your dog feel loved, but this is the perfect time to make your furbaby feel even more special. So what's the number one thing that will make your dog feel extra loved this Nationl Puppy Day? Cesar Millan, dog behaviorist and star of Better Human, Better Dog, says it's actually pretty simple. "You dog is just seeking consistency,” Millan shares. He adds that to be the best dog owner you can be, it's all about making sure your dog doesn't feel like one day you care about them and the next day you don't. “A good pet parent does the same thing every day,” explains Millan. "That’s what makes you an ideal caretaker. You never miss the walks. If they need to play with somebody, you bring them somewhere they can socialize. When you can give your pup your all every day, your dog does look for anything extra," he says.
However, there’s aways ways you can sprinkle in more love in your furry sidekick's life and find ways to make them feel even more appreciated. “Think about it when you were a child: If your parents gave you a pancake, that’s extra,” he says. So, how can you find those pancake moments with your pup this National Puppy Day? Read on to see more of Millan's dog tips.

When is National Puppy Day 2026?Each year, National Puppy Day falls during the last week of March. This year, it will be observed on Monday, March 23, 2026.
What is National Puppy Day?National Puppy Day is a fun-filled day all about celebrating your furry friend! It encourages adoption from shelters, raises awareness about responsible pet ownership, and inspires people to show extra love, care, and attention to their dogs. While it’s especially focused on puppies, it’s a day for all dog lovers to celebrate the joy and companionship dogs bring.
6 Ways to Make Your Dog Feel Extra Loved on National Puppy Day Cesar Millian with a happy Golden Retriever. You know best what your dog enjoys doing. Leaning into their personal interests can go a long way toward making them feel extra loved on this holiday. Consider these options this year, suggested and approved by Millan.
Go on a special outingIf you're looking for something special to do on National Puppy Day to show your dog extra love, Millan says going on a unique outing can be a fantastic way to bond with your pet. He emphasizes that a “special outing” doesn’t have to be complicated—it can include anything that makes your dog happy and stimulates their mind, helping to improve dog happiness and strengthen the bond between owner and pet.
For example, Millan explains that at his ranch, his dogs have plenty of space to run and play every day, but for a truly special experience, he takes them to an environment they don’t normally go to. “When I want to do something special with my dogs, I feel really good taking them to the beach,” he says. These experiences not only give your dog a sense of adventure but also show them ways you can make your dog feel loved and appreciated.
Keep an eye on them with a GPS collarAs a loving pet parent, you want to make sure your dog feels protected and like you are their safe place. That's why on National Puppy Day, gifting your dog a GPS collar can be a meaningful way to show your love as it's a practical way to keep track of your pup and give you peace of mind when you're outside with them. Millan says that's where something like the Halo collar with a two day battery life comes in handy because it allows your dog to roam without you worrying where they are. "Helping dog owners get that extra feeling that their dog is safe is exactly why we created it,” Millan explains. Millan notes that when dogs feel protected and confident exploring their surroundings, it not only keeps them safe but also contributes to better behavior, less anxiety, and a stronger emotional connection with their owner.
Cook them somethingWhat's one way to pamper your dog? Millan suggests cooking them something and giving it to them instead of their typical dog food. According to Millan, home-cooked meals are a great way to pamper your dog while giving them healthy, delicious food. "I like to cook my dogs a special treat now and then," he says. "I like to cook them a good meal using bones bones. When I whip up a meat dish for my dogs everybody is drooling,” Millan shares.
Have an adventure togetherOne of the best ways to spoil your dog is to spend time outdoors doing a fun activity, like a sniffari walk. Millan explains, “Allowing your pup to explore their surroundings wherever you are, where your dog can sniff and check things out, is that little something extra that makes them feel loved.” That can mean planning a walk in a new area your dog has never been, going on a hike, or planning a park visit. Those are all simple ways you can boost your dog happiness and show your pup just how much they are cherished.
Be in the moment togetherOne dog bonding tip Millan recommends is something most pet parents probably don't realize impacts their relationship with their pet. He says you should put away your phone and just be with your pooch, enjoying each other’s company. “Live in the moment,” Millan suggests. Spending quality, distraction-free time together is one of the best ways to make your dog feel loved. So on National Puppy Day this year, dedicate time to truly be phone-free with your dog as a meaningful way to celebrate your devoted companion.
Socialize as a pairHow to make your dog feel loved on National Puppy Day? Bring them around other dogs. While it can be hard to do this all the time, Millan says it makes all the difference to your dog no matter if you have a small pup or a gentle giant. "You should make a point to socialize your pup regularly," he notes.
To make it extra special, consider taking your dog to a new park or go for a walk with someone who also has a pup, so you can both enjoy the perks of interacting with friends.

Mixed-Breed Dog Has a Potato Body and a Tiny Tater Tot Head
Every once in a while, a dog comes along who completely breaks your brain in the best possible way. One mixed-breed pup named Ravioli is doing exactly that, thanks to his very unique proportions.
At first glance, it almost looks like someone accidentally combined two completely different dogs into one, or someone stuck a tiny little Chihuahua head on a Pit Bull body.
@ravioli.linguiniHis uniqueness is forever his specialty #fyp #fypシ゚ #fypシ゚viral🖤tiktok #chihuahuastiktok #raviolidog
♬ original sound - BackTo90sTikTok user @ravioli.linguini shared the hilarious clip, introducing Ravioli, an adorable rescue dog with a look that's impossible to ignore.
According to his dog mom, Ravioli is a Chihuahua mix. But his appearance tells a much more confusing story.

He has what looks like a tiny Chihuahua head sitting on top of a much larger, stockier body that feels closer to a Pit Bull or Bulldog mix. The contrast is so dramatic that it almost doesn't seem real.
The caption sums it up perfectly.
“His uniqueness is forever his specialty.”
Viewers in the comments had a lot of thoughts trying to figure him out.
“I don't know if I’m looking at an abnormally large Chihuahua or a Pit Bull with a strangely small head,” one person wrote.
Another commenter admitted they were still confused even after taking a second look.
“Update: I’m sober and still don’t understand this.”
Some people came up with their own creative explanations.
“A Chihuahua wearing a Bulldog suit.”
“It’s like a little kid’s drawing of a dog.”
Others imagined what his personality might be like.
“Great, that’s all we need is the power of a Pit Bull mixed with the attitude of a Chihuahua.”
One comment absolutely nailed the vibe.
“His body says, ‘I guard the yard,’ but his head says, ‘I’m scared of my own shadow.’”
Even the idea of describing Ravioli to someone else felt impossible.
“Imagine having to describe him to a sketch artist.”
His dog mom responded with what might be the most accurate answer.
“It would just be an hour of saying, ‘Make his head smaller and his body bigger.’”
And one viewer summed it all up in the best way.
“He looks Frankensteined but in the best way possible.”

Golden Retriever Clearly Says 'Woo Woo' in English Like a Little Genius
A darling Golden Retriever named Lucie appears to be calling her pet mamma out on something!

“That’s the sound of the police,” noted a viewer.
“Seems like she’s saying, `I don’t know,’” added another fan.
“Awww, I love the bonnet/ribbon thingy she has going there,” said another person.
Of course, in the spirit of all things “woo woo,” is Lucie actually speaking English?

Can Dogs Speak in Human Languages?Sorry, everyone, the answer is a definite ‘no.’ Dogs can’t speak English or any other human language because they lack the necessary vocal structures. However, dogs are highly intelligent, communicative, and capable of understanding and responding to English words and commands through training. They communicate primarily through body language, barks, whines, and by interpreting human tone and gestures.
Still, the combination of Lucie’s little “woo woos,” her wagging tail, and her sweet face is beyond adorable!
After looking through Lucie’s TikTok page, I’m pretty sure “woo woo” is her default setting, and she’s not calling out any weird “new age” stuff. If you really want a laugh, check out this video of Lucie talking as she runs down a staircase. It’s just too funny!
But really? A dog who talks in English? That’s definitely "woo woo!"
Chaotic Bedtime Routine of 4 Dogs Involves Bunk Beds and Bluey
If you thought putting multiple kids to bed was exhausting, you haven't tried it with four energetic dogs. In this wildly funny video, which kind of plays like a cautionary tale, a dad battles through bedtime with two Golden Retrievers and two Siberian Huskies. The routine involves getting everyone upstairs, wrestling them into pajamas, avoiding the strike of a baseball bat, and many hilarious hijinks along the way.
The elaborate song-and-dance really begins in the canines' quarters, which is outfitted like a child's dream room: there's a large TV, snacks (which the Golden, named Bauer, immediately knocks over to grab as many as possible), a ball pit that seems to be a favorite of Blue the Husky, and two sets of pup-sized bunk beds. After getting three of the dogs situated, it's now time to tackle the problem child, into his pjs. Instead of picking out a pair as instructed by dad, the Golden leaves the room to retrieve a wooden baseball bat, which he unknowingly endangers his dad with by carrying it around the room. As the video caption states, "new emotional support item unlocked?" He's so into this bat that he insists on taking it to bed with him for a snuggle.
Dad even brings in the family cat for some goodnight kisses. The routine ends with the dogs (hopefully) dozing off to an episode of Bluey and their parents (hopefully) enjoying some peace and quiet. You've gotta see this chaos for yourself:
@imbluethesiberiannNew emotional support item unlocked?? #dogsoftiktok #dogsoftiktokviral #goldenretriever #dogs #husky
♬ Run Away with Me - Instrumental Version - Louis IslandThe comments are equally entertaining, with one joking that these dogs "are some bad ass kids," and another recommending they use "a behavior chart."
But the comment I agree with the most is that we "need to see an overnight camera view of that room." I'm sure they're perfect little angels.

Bedtime SimplifiedYour dog's routine does not need to be anywhere near as elaborate as this family's, but establishing a consistent bedtime schedule actually helps your pup sleep better, behave better, and feel more secure overall.
Dogs naturally fall into our schedules, so when you create a regular bedtime, you’re teaching them to settle down and sleep through the night (which, conveniently, means you get better sleep too). A consistent sleep routine also helps regulate everything else—when they wake up, eat, go outside, and even when they expect your attention.
The key is keeping things simple and consistent: wind things down at night (no late-night energy), do one last bathroom break, and create a comfortable, quiet sleep space – bunk beds and Bluey totally optional.

Golden Retriever Puppy Has a Fight With Her Reflection and Won't Back Down
My dogs are used to seeing their reflection in the mirror, but it took some time. When my Dachshund first caught sight of herself, she stared at her image in disbelief. My Pug mix growled at himself in the mirror, then went into full-on bark mode. He assumed the dog looking back at him was barking, which made him bark more. After awhile, they both lost interest in seeing themselves and now it's not a big deal.
Birdie the Golden Retriever puppy had some issues with the dog she saw in the mirror and was ready to rumble.
@ourgoldengirlbirdieWhat is this thing?!? Who is that puppy??!!! #goldenretrieverpuppy #puppy #puppytiktok #goldenretriever #goldenretrieverpuppies
♬ original sound - Pet diaryIn the TikTok from @ourgoldengirlbirdie, the precious puppy stood in front of the mirror and repeatedly barked at the image in front of her. Birdie held a strong stance, clearly prepared for any abrupt moves from her "adversary".
At one point, Birdie got brave enough to approach her reflection and give the mirroring dog a sniff. Still, she didn't trust the situation and backed up. Birdie stayed vigilant in case she had to defend herself against this canine she'd never met.
"What is this thing?! Who is that puppy?!" the caption joked.
Followers got a kick out of the fur baby's confusion and noted Birdie's charm.
"Who’s that handsome pup!" one raved.
"It's you, cutie!" another pointed out.
"Ooh look, a new friend," someone posted.
How Dogs React to Their ReflectionDogs lack self-awareness, so they don’t realize that they are seeing themselves when they see their reflection. They assume it’s another dog and usually bark, stare, growl, or stiffen in response to the sight because they aren't sure if the other fur baby is friend or foe.
Related: Golden Retriever Puppy Refusing to Sleep in Crate Brings the Cutest Toddler Energy
Canines gather information through scent, which makes crossing paths with their reflection more confusing. Since they cannot smell the dog in the mirror, they have no way of analyzing their situation or the precious pooch facing them.
After your dog gets more accustomed to seeing their reflection, they will most likely get bored and start ignoring the mirror. Birdie looked quite fascinated with the pup staring back at her, so she may be hanging around that looking glass for a while.

Tabby Cat Steals Newborn Puppies and Decides They’re Her Babies
Cats are known for being independent, but every once in a while, one comes along who completely rewrites the rules. One Tabby cat named KeKe is doing exactly that after being caught caring for a group of newborn puppies like they belong to her.
And honestly, she seems pretty convinced that they do.

The caption explains the unexpected moment.
“Came out to put puppies back with Mama after giving her a break and found them with their adoptive mama.”

In the video, KeKe looks completely relaxed as the puppies cuddle into her, and at one point, she even starts making biscuits on one of them like a proud, slightly confused mom.
In the background, the human can be heard saying, “KeKe, what are you doing? Those aren’t your babies.”
The puppies, however, do not seem to agree.
As soon as the human questions the situation, the little pups start whimpering and snuggling even closer to KeKe.
Viewers in the comments quickly took KeKe’s side.
“If those aren’t her babies, why do they all look like her?” one person joked.
Another commenter imagined the actual dog mom’s reaction.
“The real mama is like… seriously, let the cat babysit.”
Some viewers pointed out that everything seemed perfectly fine until the human stepped in.
“They were fine until you came over.”
Others fully rejected the idea that the puppies did not belong to KeKe.
“You’re the only one saying they’re not hers.”
“She made baby biscuits. They’re her babies.”
One comment noticed how the puppies reacted in the moment.
“The way all the puppies start crying as soon as you say they aren’t hers.”
And one viewer summed up the whole situation perfectly.
“They say it takes a village.”
Another commenter offered a more thoughtful explanation.
“Cats will look after each other's babies to give mamas a break. KeKe is just doing her friend a solid.”
Why Some Cats Look After Puppies @maplemoo1Just a 7 month kitten being the most patient & gentle uncle he could be to 6 puppies #kitten #puppies #puppy #cockerspaniel #bestfriends #uncle #marmalade #maple #catanddog #kittenandpuppy
♬ BIRDS OF A FEATHER - Billie EilishWhile it might seem unusual, it's not unheard of for cats to show motherly behavior toward animals that are not their own kind.
Cats have strong nurturing instincts, especially females who have had kittens before or are naturally maternal. When they encounter small, vulnerable animals like puppies, those instincts can sometimes kick in.
In some cases, cats will groom, cuddle, and even try to “mother” animals who are not their own, simply because the behavior feels natural to them.
As long as the interaction is supervised and both animals are safe, these cross-species bonding moments can be surprisingly gentle and heartwarming.
And in KeKe’s case, it is pretty clear she has already made up her mind.
Those are her babies.

Newfoundland Puppy’s First Time With a Fan Makes Him Look So Easy, Breezy, Beautiful
Puppies fall in love with the weirdest things, and there's nothing you can do about it. The only thing you can do is support them, and as long as it's not harmful, who cares? My dog was in love with drywall (specifically, eating it).
For one not-so-little Newfoundland puppy, his first great love has turned out to be a fan. He loves sitting in front of it, and he's turned into a very easy, breezy, beautiful boy:

His family has known about him from the moment he was born, and they had to wait the whole time before they could take him home! He went home to several human siblings and a whole lot of love.
He doesn't care, though. The only thing he really seems to care about is his fan. He cared so much, in fact, that his mom said his first errand was actually to Home Depot to get one.

Copper is the only dog in his house, and his human siblings are so in love with him! He's definitely in for the good life! His mom said her kids told her it was "Newfie or nothing," which is a philosophy I might need to adopt. They even got to meet his parents:

Desensitizing a Newfoundland PuppyDesensitization is important for any puppy, but it's especially vital for giant breeds like the Newfoundland. When they get spooked by something, it can be legitimately dangerous.
Brown Newfoundland puppy looking up.Image via Shutterstock / DejaVuDesigns
Luckily, desensitizing a puppy is relatively easy, and it can start pretty much as soon as they get home. Some common tips include:
- Running the vacuum cleaner.
- Touching their paws and claws often (to make nail trims easier).
- Putting them in front of a fan or a blow dryer on the cool setting (Newfies will need to be blow-dried after their baths).
- Splashing water on them.
It definitely seems like Copper will have the time of his life at the groomer from now on. I can't wait to see it!

5 Weird Sounds Cats Can Hear That People Can't
Have you ever seen your cat's ears move around, or your kitty run for no particular reason? You may think they're "hearing things," and you may be right. However, the sounds aren't in your cat's head. Dr. Julie Hunt, DVM, a veterinarian with Embrace Pet Insurance, says there are sounds only cats can hear that people can't. "A cat's hearing is more sensitive than a human's is," Dr. Hunt explains. So, how well can cats hear? "Cats are able to detect sounds that are about 10 decibels quieter than humans can hear. This helps cats hear sounds approximately five times farther away than humans can."
In fact, Hunt says that cats have some of the "broadest hearing ranges" in the animal kingdom. "They can hear more ultrasonic sounds—such as those with a higher frequency—than humans," Dr. Hunt reports. "In fact, humans can hear sounds up to about 20,000 Hz and cats can hear sounds up to 85,000 Hz. While cats can hear high-frequency sounds better than humans, they can also still hear low-frequency sounds."
Dr. Hunt adds that a cat's unique ear mobility also contributes to their top-notch hearing making this somewhat odd cat behavior even more impressive. "Cats are able to move their ears to the sides or back, which improves their ability to hear sounds behind them and helps them to localize sounds very accurately," Dr. Hunt says. Because of all of these things, Dr. Hunt reveals that there are weird sounds cats can only hear. Are you curious what those are? She shares five of the most unexpected sounds cats can hear, along with if they can hear better than dogs as well.
Related: 7 Signs You Are Your Cat’s Safe Place, According to Vets
Why Do Cats Have Such Great Hearing? So why did cats evolve to have such a powerful sense of hearing? Cats have such great hearing because it helps them survive and hunt. Being able to detect high-frequency sounds allows them to locate prey like mice and birds, even when hidden. Their rotatable ears help them pinpoint danger or food, giving them an evolutionary advantage in both hunting and avoiding predators.
Cats can hear better than dogs in certain ways, especially when it comes to high-frequency sounds. While dogs can hear sounds ranging from about 67 Hz to 45 kHz, cats can detect noises between roughly 48 Hz and 85 kHz. This means cats can pick up ultrasonic sounds that even most dogs cannot hear.
Cats’ superior hearing is partly due to their highly mobile ears, which Dr. Hunt explains can rotate up to 180° to pinpoint the source of a sound. They also have more auditory cells in their inner ear, which allows them to detect very subtle noises. Dogs, on the other hand, are often better at detecting mid-range sounds and vocal cues, including human voices. So while both cats and dogs have hearing far superior to humans, cats have the edge when it comes to detecting subtle and high-pitched noises.
5 Strange Sounds Your Cat Can Hear That You’ll Never Notice A cat hearing something in the distance. There are times when animals appear to see or hear things that we humans don't notice at all. This often makes pet owners wonder whether dogs may be seeing ghosts or something paranormal. The truth is, cats can hear higher-frequency sounds, which can help them hunt and also protect themselves. Below, Dr. Hunt reveals five sounds cats can hear that people can't and why.
1. Ultrasonic prey noisesIf you're curious if cats can hear ultrasonic sounds, you'll be happy to learn that they can! Kitties can hear high-pitched rodent squeaks and insect noises that are way too high in frequency for the human ear. Dr. Hunt reminds us that cats can hear sounds up to 85,000 Hz—far more than the 20,000 Hz a person's ears can detect.
Dr. Hunt points out that humans can, in fact, hear some prey noises. However, cats can hear them from way further away. "For prey noises that humans can also hear, such as prey squeaks, cats can hear these approximately five times farther away than humans can," Dr. Hunt adds. "Cats are also very good at quickly localizing where sound is coming from. When three feet away from their prey, cats can localize the sound to an area within three inches of the prey. These features of their hearing make them more effective hunters."
2. Electronic interferenceWhat's a sound only cats can hear? high-frequency sounds! Cats have incredibly sensitive hearing and can detect high-frequency sounds, including electronic interference from devices humans can’t hear. "Electronic interference" (high-pitched whines from computer monitors, TVs or even fluorescent lights) are another weird sound cats can hear that people can't hear. These high-frequency sounds may be especially noticeable in houses where someone works from home or where there are multiple electronics running simultaneously. "This means that they can hear high-frequency electronic hums such as those created by computers, TVs, fluorescent lights, LED bulbs and smart home devices," Dr. Hunt says.
A cat's remarkable hearing range allows them to detect these ultrasonic or high-pitched noises, which can sometimes cause stress, anxiety, or alert behaviors in sensitive cats. "A cats’ sensitive hearing is developed to make them more efficient hunters, but it also means they detect sounds that humans can’t, including these electronic buzzing and humming noises.”
3. Long-distance soundsCats' hearing truly goes the distance, to the tune of ears that can detect noises five times farther away than people can. "They can hear sounds from up to 0.7 to 1 mile away—or 2,300 to 3,000 feet—depending on the features of the sound," Dr. Hunt says. "This may be beneficial in locating prey or threats to the cat’s safety."
Cats’ long-range hearing is another example of how their ultrasonic sensitivity and keen auditory perception make them uniquely aware of the world around them—hearing things humans can’t even imagine.
Related: Pet Behaviorists Reveal 7 Sweet Signs Your Cat Secretly Admires You
4. Your heartbeat/breathing rhythmCan cats hear your heartbeat? They sure can! "Cats have sensitive hearing and are able to detect sounds that are about 10 decibels quieter than sounds that humans can hear," Dr. Hunt reveals. "A human’s heartbeat and breathing are approximately 10 decibels, although if the cat has contact with the chest wall, these sounds may register up to 30 decibels."
Cats can also hear sounds as quiet as decibels and as low as -10 decibels. "Therefore, it’s likely that they can hear human heartbeats and breathing," Dr. Hunt explains addng that this sound may be soothing to cats.
5. Underground, high-frequency vibrationsIf you've ever wondered if cats can detect earthquakes thanks to their hearing, Dr. Hunt says they can. She notes that cats do have highly sensitive hearing that lets them detect subtle underground vibrations and high-frequency sounds that humans can’t perceive, giving them an edge in sensing natural events. "The ground and soil can transmit or amplify sounds, transferring seismic activities into sound waves that can be heard, especially by animals," Dr. Hunt explains. "These high-frequency sounds may sound like roars or rumbles to cats."
This unique ability may give cats an advantage in noticing natural disasters. "This allows cats to sense unusual or increased seismic activity, such as earthquakes or volcanic eruptions,” Dr. Hunt says. "This is beneficial, as the cat can attempt to find a safe place to hide." It's no wonder they have nine lives!
