The adorable video, shared on TikTok by @toriandherbuns, shows incredibly fluffy Angora Bunnies hopping around like living stuffed animals.

Their long, soft coats give them a rounded, plush look that makes their faces almost blend into their fur. Add in those floppy ears, and suddenly their resemblance to Shih-Tzus becomes impossible to ignore.

Viewers in the comments were immediately obsessed.

“I do not need a fluffy bunny. I do not need a fluffy bunny. I do not need a fluffy bunny. I totally need a fluffy bunny,” one person admitted. That's pretty much the exact reaction I had.

Another commenter was already trying to figure out how to get one.

“I’m dying to adopt one, but having no luck. They are perfect.”

Some viewers wondered if the look was natural or styled.

In fact, our experts say they have a lot going for them in the potty training department. “Poodles are considered to be among the most intelligent dogs, making them easy to train,” Warner says. Elden agrees, calling this breed “highly trainable.”

Poodles are also very tuned in to their people and, as a result, pick up on patterns and routines easily, Elden says. “Given their history as working dogs bred to cooperate closely with humans, they are usually strong learners in a house-training context,” she adds. While Poodles learn quickly, they also tend to embrace new habits. “Once they grasp that going outside means toilet time, they stick to it,” Warner says.

Elden also praises this breed’s bright and social personality. "Many Bostons are people-oriented, which can help with training,” she says. "This breed also tends to well with structure and positive reinforcement, too. So, have those high-value treats ready every time you go outside."

The Maltese is smart and sensitive, which lends well to potty training. “Maltese like being around people,” Warner says. “They learn fast because, similar to Boston Terriers, they like structured environments.”

Once you put a bathroom schedule in place, your Maltese will like to stick to it. "Aim for a schedule that involves going outside after meals, sleep and playtime as Maltese dogs remember things easier that way and will stick to the routine,” Warner says.

This pooch enjoys a tidy home and understands the need to separate the space where you go to the bathroom to where you sleep and eat. “With calm, patient training and a steady routine, Afghan Hounds often learn quickly that outdoor spaces are the appropriate place to go,” Warner says. Just be aware that this breed is high-energy and stubborn at times, so it’s considered best for more experienced dog owners.

"Papillons are very smart and pick up commands and routines easily," notes Warner. That makes it all the more important to set a potty schedule and stick with it to get your Papillon up and running with bathroom breaks. This breed is also known for being attentive to its owners, along with having polite mannerisms. As a result, your Papillon doesn’t want to have an accident any more than you want them to.

"Border Collies have a high drive to work and do best with a job," Humm-Beatty says. "They tend to follow directions easily and enjoy spending time outside, both of which are perfect for potty training. Just be sure to get in plenty of exercise during those potty breaks to keep your energetic pup happy."

She just cautions that they can be harder to train outside of bathroom breaks. “They are also known to be more challenging for overall training and need a lot of consistency and positive reinforcement,” Humm-Beatty says.

Why Do Dogs' Ears Droop Sometimes?

Every dog's ears go into airplane mode occasionally, and they almost always start out that way, too. As puppies, dogs simply don't have the muscles required to hold their ears up, which is what leads to that puppy flop.

Adult dogs with ears that stand up don't leave them that way all the time, though. Their ears might droop, either partially or fully, because:

• They have an ear infection.
• They're tired.
• They're sleeping.
• They're feeling threatened.
• They're in pain.

Drooping without pulling back is typically what happens when dogs are tired or have ear infections, while pulling them back fully is often a sign that they're scared or in pain. Ears are big targets, so pulling them in as close as they can will potentially help keep other animals from grabbing on.

My senior Dachshund was less than thrilled when we brought home our Pug mix. A rescue dog from Puerto Rico, our Puggie was a bundle of boy energy and tried immediately to bond with his older Doxie sister. In the TikTok from @thedoubleduo, Winnie and Wilson were lying on the couch enjoying some downtime. Winnie stared out the window, purposely facing away from her baby brother.

"POV: Your senior dog refuses to acknowledge the new puppy's existence," the onscreen text read, with the caption adding, "She has chosen to disengage."

Winnie obviously wanted some space and hoped her body language spoke for itself. Her brother didn't get the hint and faced her direction, comfortably curled up nearby.

"Are you refusing to look at him, Winnie?" her mom asked, noticing the senior Golden's avoidant behavior.

Winnie tried repositioning herself to send the message to Wilson a bit more directly and set herself down with her back to the pup.

Neville is a 5-month-old Bengal-Maine Coon mix. His mom adopted him when he was 8 weeks old! By 8 weeks, he already had several defining features:

This safe encounter was not an accident of personality. It was the direct result of impulse-control training, allowing both the pet and local wildlife to coexist without a stressful confrontation.

Instead of lunging or barking, the dog pauses. And that pause is how training shows up in real life. Impulse training can feel like practice without purpose. But that repetition has meaning when the dog remains calm during encounters with wildlife.

How to Teach a Dog to Stay Calm Around Small Animals

Impulse control is the foundation for dog training. Pet parents have to teach commands like "leave it" and "stay." Those two commands help a dog pause rather than react.

Pet parents should start training in low-distraction environments first. Gradually, you can increase the challenge. Start with increasing the duration of the stay command, and then increase triggers and distractions.

Controlled exposure is the key. Start by seeing small animals from a distance and reward calm behavior. Slowly close the gap over time.

The emotional video was shared on the @elikchavarin TikTok account, and it introduces Biscuit as a rare little girl Orange Cat with extra toes and a whole lot of personality.

Her story started when she was found meowing in bushes at just around 6 months old, a regular kitten who just needed a home.

But things quickly changed.

The video shows before-and-after clips of Biscuit, and the difference is hard to process. Her nose became dramatically swollen and bulbous because of a serious fungal infection called cryptococcosis.

According to her pet parent, Biscuit is currently being treated and was scheduled for surgery, with the hope of improving her condition and helping her breathe more comfortably.

Viewers immediately flooded the comments with support.

But Biscuit is clearly surrounded by people who are doing everything they can for her.

In a follow-up update, Biscuit’s pet parent shared that her surgery couldn't be performed as originally planned.

The swelling in her nose turned out to be soft tissue that could not be drained, even after attempts under light sedation.

Instead, Biscuit will continue treatment with antifungal medications to fight the infection and steroids to help reduce inflammation. She is also being supported with a feeding tube to make sure she is getting the nutrition she needs while her body heals.

Her family shared that if her breathing becomes more difficult, more advanced surgery, including possible facial reconstruction and mass removal, may be considered.

For now, it is a waiting game filled with care, patience, and a whole lot of love.

"Bea Arthur is living proof that a second chance can change everything," the onscreen text read as Bea stared into the camera with a big smile on her face. "When she arrived at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, she needed more than just a home. She needed specialized care, patience, and people willing to say yes to her future."

Bea had mobility issues due to her age, making long walks difficult. Her team put her on a regimen of hydrotherapy to build her strength and take pressure off her joints. The precious pooch had a great motivation to put in the hard work — lots of peanut butter. Still, medical intervention was required for further healing.

"Bea needed more support and underwent a TPLO surgery — a surgery that's similar to repairing a human ACL," the story continued, adding, "Even after surgery, Bea needed extra support, so they gave her something that changed everything."

Bea Gets New Wheels

The feisty fur baby was fitted with a custom-made wheelchair in a beautiful shade of gold to reflect her beautiful personality and season of life. Once Bea had those shiny new wheels, she couldn't be stopped.

"She didn't just adapt," the text explained. "She thrived. With tools like her wheelchair, Bea gets to do what every dog deserves: explore, play, and love life."

Thanks to the love, support, and commitment of the Best Friends Animal Society team, Bea has a new leash on life and is ready for a forever family.

When your dog is nestled up to you in bed, they may feel that you’re watching over them while they sleep. “Dogs form packs as a way of sharing the load of hunting as well as protection, so sleeping with you is a way of showing you that you’re part of their pack,” Bonk explains.

As Bonk says, "dogs that look up to you will often be there to support you when you’re doing things like bringing in groceries or making dinner." That’s exactly what happened in a video shared to the r/funnypets subreddit, where one determined pup turns an ordinary mall trip into a full-blown game of chase, even if it means becoming a thief along the way. As shoppers try to get the pup’s attention, the four-legged suspect dodges and weaves through the crowd, making a clean getaway look almost possible.

When Playtime Goes Off the Rails

While exactly how the dog got off leash and ended up roaming the mall isn’t explained in the video, what is clear is the laughter in the background and just how entertaining the scene must have been to watch. The video begins with a black dog running into frame with a green toy in its mouth, immediately sidestepping a mall employee before darting around the open area and weaving around product stands, benches and various shoppers. 

As the pup shows off its prize, shoppers only half-heartedly try to catch it and retrieve the toy, making the scene even funnier as it trots around the area. And while the video ends without revealing whether the pup was ever caught, we’d like to assume the good boy or girl was forgiven for skipping the checkout and got to bring the toy home after all the excitement.

“The cutest thief,” u/Wonderful-Fli-104 wrote in the caption of their post. “Awww I would let him have it,” one viewer responded. “It was a diversion,” another joked, “The cash register is empty now.”

Others echoed the sentiment, with some offering to pay for the toy and others cheering on the dog’s escape. “They need to alter their strategy,” one person said. “Chasing a dog is the best possible way to get them to run away from you!” To which another replied, “Oh you want to play tag?!?!”

Why Dogs Love a Good Game of Chase

Dogs naturally love to chase. Even moreso, chasing and playing fetch isn’t just fun, it taps into their natural instincts and brain chemistry, which makes the activity super rewarding as well. Dogs are basically wired to pursue and grab moving objects, a behavior that mimics the hunting and retrieving days of their ancestors. So in the case of our cutest little “thief,” even though some of the adults in the mall may have been signaling that the pup shouldn’t be running around with a toy it hadn’t paid for, the very act of trying to catch the little suspect only made the game more exciting. Onlookers weren’t aggressive either, so there were hardly any signs that the good boy or girl was in real trouble. We say let them go and take the toy with them, how about you?

If you have indoor cats and feel inspired, you can take your kitties outside to explore, too—but there are some things to keep in mind so all goes smoothly.

First, slowly introduce them to wearing a secure harness (with a snug fit to prevent escape) and leash, practicing inside so they get used to the feeling. Don't force things too quickly; instead, practicing 5 to 10 minutes in supervised sessions in a quiet place can go a long way. Once they're familiar with the restraint, you can move to the backyard and slowly increase the time.

A cat backpack or portable playpen are alternatives to a harness and leash (or in combination with). As long as they're either contained or on some kind of lead, your cats can release their wild sides and have as much fun as Biscuit and Blueberry!

It's not a typical snack exchange, though. Instead of gently taking a tiny bite from her parent's hand, she gets a full-on shredded cheese shower and wastes no time rising to the task. We're not sure if she succeeded at all, and that's what makes it so funny.

Is Cheese Safe for Dogs To Eat?

We can easily tell that Rosie loves shredded cheese so much that she will try to catch some when it's tossed up in the air outside, which is so cute. And it's a good snack for her, too, according to experts. 

The American Kennel Club shares that cheese is safe for dogs to eat, and it's actually a great snack to use when you're trying to teach your pup new tricks. The club explains that because cheese contains vitamin A, essential fatty acids, calcium, and protein, it benefits their health. And the biggest bonus of cheese is that most dogs love it, and it's often used in treat-motivated training or to encourage a dog to take medicine when it's hidden in the dairy. 

The American Kennel Club does add that dogs don't need more than a few shreds or a small cube, and having more than that might tip the benefits in the wrong direction. Of course, though, if you’re concerned or unsure, it’s always a good idea to check in with your dog’s vet! But, as Rosie shows, doggies love the treat, and we love watching them eat it up!
