This Golden Retriever's Hilarious Reaction to Olympic Bobsleigh Is Pure Comedy
The Winter Olympics are one of the biggest events in the sports world. Often, major sporting events pull people toward the screen. But in this case, the most focused viewer in the room has four legs.
Dogs often find visual stimulation in high-speed movement, even during televised sports. In this case, a golden retriever enjoyed the bobsleigh race.
Known for their high social awareness and responsiveness to movement, golden retrievers are among the most popular family dogs. Every family would be happy to own one.

⏠Mambo No. 5 - Pérez PradoThe caption of the video says, "Mom, what is this fun sport?" And by the way, this dog enjoys watching Leon Felderer race at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics; it is clear he is enjoying it. Felderer might not have won the gold medal that day, but he won a golden fan.

What Are Fans Saying?Fans recognized how smitten the golden retriever is with the Winter Olympics. They commented things like, "She's so invested," "Cherry is captivated," and "So fascinated."
The way Cherry moves her head as Felderer goes through the track is just heartwarming. We could say that her steering is better than that of some of the professional teams and racers we have seen.
Do Golden Retrievers Love Sports?Bred to help with hunting birds, golden retrievers are among the most active dog breeds. They love sports and thrive on high-energy activities, including water sports, agility games, frisbee, flyball, fetch and similar activities, as well as hiking and running.
Retrievers are ideal partners for families who want an active companion. As members of the sporting group, golden retrievers have the stamina, intelligence and natural instinct to play and exercise for several hours.
Can Dogs Watch TV?Dogs can safely watch TV. In fact, watching TV can serve as a form of mental stimulation and relaxation, especially for high-energy dogs. They do not perceive images as we do, but they enjoy watching moving objects.
For dogs, watching TV offers a unique sensory experience. While there are many adorable videos of dogs glued to the TV, it should only be used as a supplement to physical exercise and social interaction. Don't expect the television to provide the physical and mental exercise your dog needs.

Golden Retriever Is Completely Frozen With Disdain After Mom Makes Him Wear Booties
Pilot, the Golden Retriever, became temporarily paralyzed thanks to four tiny but terrorizing winter booties on his paws. This wasn't the first time his mom put him in these boots, however, and his extreme reaction is apparently par for the Pilot course. "He REGULARLY wears his booties and still acts like this every time," she explained in the caption. He's frozen in the funniest position, but it's really the upright, rigid tail for me.
The hilarious video shows Pilot posed like a statue, glaring at his mom as she tries to coax him for a walk. It takes a lot of reassurance, but eventually, Pilot takes a few awkward, tentative steps until he finally regains his confidence and trots happily toward the door. The whole thing is quintessentially Golden: sweet and overly dramatic.

The Fashionable PupUnless you share Monica Geller's pet peeve, animals wearing clothes can be charming. But do dogs actually like wearing clothes? The answer: sometimes â it really depends on the dog.
Some pups enjoy the attention and donât mind outfits, while others find clothing restrictive or stressful. The biggest factor is personality, so watching your dogâs body language matters. Signs like whining, stiffness, pinned-back ears, or trembling mean the outfit isnât a hit and should come off.Â
Clothing can be useful in certain situations. Sweaters or coats help dogs stay warm in cold weather, while cooling vests can help dogs in hot climates. Booties like Pilot's can protect delicate paws from extremely cold, hot, and/or rough surfaces. Outfits may also help protect healing wounds or provide calming pressure for anxious dogs.Â
If you do dress your dog, comfort and safety come first. Clothes should fit well, allow free movement, and never block their ears, face, or ability to go to the bathroom.Â
Bottom line: outfits should benefit your dog, not just look cute. If your pup seems uncomfortable, theyâd almost certainly prefer playtime and attention instead.

Golden Retriever Puppy Making a Jailbreak From His Playpen Is a Regular Houdini
Bringing home a new puppy is not for the wary. The first few weeks after we adopted our Corgi felt like I was raising toddlers again. They get into everything the second you turn your back, and if there's something they shouldn't have in their mouths, they'll find it!
Norman, the Golden Retriever puppy, is all toddler energy as he makes his great escape from his pop-up playpen. But he's so cute, Mom can't possibly be mad at his little squishy face!
@wallyandnormandagoldensNorman has learned to escape from the pop up play pen. #goldenretriever #goldenretrieverpuppy #puppy
⏠original sound - Wally & Norman The GoldensNorman is just your average, everyday Houdini, and he's proud of it. This little guy is tapping into his critical thinking skills to bamboozle the heck out of that playpenâand Mom's patience! Having been there, I know all the ways these adorable, chaotic, ridiculously cute puppies can test their pet parents, but even still, it's 1000000% worth it.
Related: Golden Retriever Puppy Looks Just Like a Little Beluga Whale and It's Too Precious
The good news is Norman's surrounded by a loving family who he trusts enough to get into a little mischief (that's a good thing!). Puppies are going to puppy so all Mom can do is hang on, enjoy the fleeting moments as they come, and try to remember the "toddler" phase doesn't last forever (and his face at the end is enough to make anyone forget any trouble caused).
Lucky for sweet Norman, he has a wonderful big brother in Golden Retriever Wally, and the two besties couldn't be any more precious together. Since joining the family in January 2026, Norman's been learning the ropes of being a Retriever. Though, he needs a little more practice!
@wallyandnormandagoldensTodayâs Lesson - teaching my little brother Norman how to be a retriever. Still have some work to do. #goldenretriever #dogsoftiktok
⏠original sound - Wally & Norman The Goldens Golden Retrievers Maintain a Puppy-Like Disposition for YearsAs energetic as little Norman is right now, he'll one day grow into everything Wally is.
Golden Retrievers have been a long-standing family favorite for their puppy-like disposition that lasts well into adulthood. Their playful, friendly, and fun-loving temperament might mean they're slower to mature, but they also never lose that bright, sunny, and optimistic zest for life.
Having one of these bliss-filled pups means that even on the worst, most stressful days, they'll be right by your side, eager to please and even more excited to be in charge of changing your mood. Norman may be escaping from his playpen today, but tomorrow his enthusiastic little face will remind you how much fun life can be!

Great Daneâs Massive Size Next to His Mom Is Hard To Wrap Your Head Around
Great Danes are often described as gentle giants, but seeing their size compared directly to a human really puts things into perspective. Theyâve got very long legs and a big frame that makes them look like they take up more space than they do. Theyâve got a towering height that can make even familiar spaces feel suddenly smaller.Â
We see that happen in this adorable video where a giant, sweet Great Dane stands near his mom, and their height difference is really impressive. It doesnât seem to make sense at first glance, but there is such a difference between the two. He towers over her with calm confidence, looking less like a dog and more like a very gentle horse who lives indoors. Take a look!
@huckleberry.caFor everyone asking how big he is⊠hope this helps! đ #greatdane #dogsoftiktok #bigguy
⏠Big Guy - from "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePantsâ - Ice SpiceTikTok user @huckleberrry.ca shared a video of a stunningly charming Great Dane dog named Huckleberry, who is white and black like a Dalmatian or a cow. But he's a different kind of giant, and it's incredible.Â
In the clip, watching him climb off the couch and stand next to his mom, we not only see how tall he is, but that his head basically reaches her shoulders, and he's also really long, too. He looks like he could be the size of a mini horse.
Related: Great Dane's Daily Quest for Cow Kisses Is So Cute We Can't Take It
In the comments section, thousands of people were taken by Huckleberry's size and his cute personality, which we can see in this short clip, too. Â
One person wrote, "While every dog is awesome, there is something about a Great Dane that sets them apart."
Another shared, "Thatâs why I love big dogs, and Iâm 6'11", so I kinda need me a big dog and not a little one."
Someone else added, "So this dog and I are the same height?"
Other comments included, "Ma'am, you have a horse in your house, and it's adorable," "You can't keep horses inside," "Just don't let Cruella see him," "Lots of pets for him, he's so cute," "Does he take you for your daily walks?" And a lot of other people had the same question, asking why there's a horse in the house.Â

How Big Do Great Dane Dogs Get?We can see that Huckleberry is huge, and his giant size is common for this breed, experts say.Â
According to the American Kennel Club, Great Danes, members of the working group, can reach 32 inches tall and weigh up to 175 pounds when fully grown. Because they're bigger dogs, their life expectancy is shorter than some smaller pups, averaging 7 to 10 years, but those years will be full of the most beautiful memories. These dogs are known for having great personalities and being super "lovey-dovey" with their families.Â
We learn in the comments that Huckleberry's mom is 5'5", and he's nearly the same size, which is incredible. Yes, they're gentle giants, and we can definitely see that with Huckleberry!
Golden Retriever Puppy Discovers Lemon Isn't a Tennis Ball and Her Reaction Is Priceless
Both of my dogs love to play with toys. Sometimes, they'll see an unfamiliar object on the floor and assume it's either a fun plushie or, better yet, a scrap of food. This happens a lot with my Pug mix, who's always up for taking a risk. The second he puts the object into his mouth and realizes it's neither of those things, the look of disappointment (and sometimes disgust) is written all over his face.
Frankie the Golden Retriever puppy is also very expressive and clearly showed her feelings when she mistook a sour fruit for a plaything.
@missfrankieToday we learned that not all yellow balls are tennis balls đŸđ#puppies #puppylove #goldenretrieverpuppy #puppytiktok #puppylife
⏠Monsters, Inc - Gustav Lundgren & UnitIn the TikTok from @missfrankie, the precious puppy's mom placed half of a lemon on the floor to see how Frankie would respond. The fluffy fur baby approached the fruit with curiosity and gave it a few good sniffs. So far, so good.
Frankie screwed up her courage and got closer to the lemon. She gave it a few licks and contemplated the odd flavor. You could literally see on Frankie's face the moment when the sourness set in. She literally threw her head up in protest and started backing away.
Just to make sure this fruit was foe rather than friend, Frankie walked up to give it a good smell one more time. That final sniff confirmed her fears and she hightailed herself away from the threatening object.
Apparently, Frankie was under the assumption that the bright yellow lemon was one of her favorite toys.
"Today we learned that not all yellow balls are tennis balls," the caption explained.
Lemon Can Be Used as Training AidMany dogs find the taste of lemon very displeasing. Some dog trainers suggest using a few drops of lemon juice to discourage unwanted behaviors like chewing on furniture, going through the garbage, or digging in the yard. The sour taste helps to redirect their attention to something more positive.

This method should be used with caution, especially if your dog has certain food sensitivities or sensory issues.
Frankie obviously wasn't a fan of the lemon and will probably stay away from fruit for a while.

Heartbreaking 2025 Video of Abandoned German Shepherd Has the Most Adorable 2026 Update
What a difference one year can make when you provide love to a dog. Time stamps tell the whole story before anyone says a word. And for this German shepherd, rescued in 2025, a single year of consistent love and care made all the difference.
When this German shepherd was rescued back in 2025, he looked nothing like a true representative of the breed. With almost no fur on him, he was a weak puppy who still had plenty of enthusiasm for life. We can see him playing with a ball even when his body was weak and nearly bare.
In 2026, we see the same dog, but his coat is thick, and his posture is steady. While early footage showed a patchy, dull coat, he is now a beautiful dog. Back in 2025, Mowgli's body was an example of malnutrition and prolonged neglect.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/u30r4p4s_zI
But the change didn't happen overnight. Recovery from severe conditions requires plenty of love, veterinary care, and patience. While the story doesn't provide details about specific medical conditions, it is clear that the rescued German shepherd had been neglected.

How the Internet ReactedFans were quick to point out how much of a difference care and love can make. One fan commented, "Wow! Your love and kindness transformed him. God bless you both." Another wrote, "This goes to show what can transform the lives of these poor animals. He was in very bad shape at the beginning but looks in really good health now after your continued care."
One commenter shared a similar story about their own pet. He said, "I adopted a Himmie/Persian male cat that came in looking beat up. He bloomed into a gorgeous boy."
Why Do German Shepherds End Up in Shelters? The irony is that German shepherds are one of the most popular dog breeds, according to the American Kennel Club. But they are also among the most commonly abandoned dogs. German shepherds often end up in animal shelters and are consistently listed among the most common breeds found there.
Some reasons people give them up include their high energy and demanding nature, behavioral issues stemming from a lack of training and understanding of the breed, and life changes such as housing restrictions. On top of that, irresponsible breeding driven by high demand has contributed to overbreeding.

ZippyPaws Burrow Hedgehog Den Plush Dog Toy, $12.99 at ChewyChewy
Priced at $16, this interactive toy is already a solid value at full retail. But judging by how often shoppers say they go back to buy it again, the available "buy three, get the fourth free" mix-and-match deal makes stocking up even more tempting. Designed to deliver hours of interactive fun, the set includes three plush squeaky hedgehogs and a fuzzy burrow with multiple openings, inviting pups to dig them out again and again during play.
The burrow itself measures six inches long, six inches wide and four inches tall, making it just right for small to medium-sized dogs. But fair warning: if you've got a super chewer on your hands, this probably isn't their forever toyâunless you're used to replacing playthings after a few sessions, in which case, let them have at it.
That said, if your little one loves a good game of hide-and-seek on top of squeaky noises and plush textures, this toy is sure not to disappoint. Even better, it's machine-washable, so you can toss it in the laundry with your linens for a thorough clean between heavy play sessions.

Rescue Dog Who Lived Outside Has Heartbreaking Reaction to Her New Home
For many dogs, a new home can feel unfamiliar. Even a puppy you just got from a breeder. For rescue dogs who've spent many days outside on the streets, a home doesn't feel familiar for a while. Some of them take longer than others to realize they are finally safe and can relax.
Meet Dottie, a dog who spent her entire life in an outdoor enclosure. Her transition to a new home was a confusing process that required patience and lots of treats. Her owner says she had never lived inside a house. And when she arrived at their home, everyday things filled Dottie with fear. For example, the stairs stopped her in place. The furniture confused her, and doorways seemed like barriers.
Named Dottie because of her dotted coat, she would hide in the garden for hours and refuse to come inside.
@undermyumbr__ellaJust a little Dottie appreciation #rescuedog #englishsetter
⏠pluto projector - favsounddsOver time, however, she learned that the house was a safe place. She became friends with the family's other dog and even began using the couch. For Dottie, the transition from a rescue dog to a house dog was long, but in the end, she got her second chance at living the best life as a dog.
Related: Heartwarming Moment Rescued Pit Bull Experiences Joyful First Hiking Trip
How Fans React to DottieFans loved the video documenting Dottie's story from beginning to end. One of them even recognized the breed, Brittany, and related to the sensitive side. She said, "I could cry. We have a Brittany and he is SO sensitive I cannot imagine."
Most fans comment that Dottie is a beautiful girl with a beautiful new life. And of course, they thank the lady for adopting her and having the heart and patience to allow Dottie to come out of her shell.
One fan summed it up best: "What a great story with a very happy ending. Enjoy your lives together."
Understanding the 3-3-3 RuleMany pet parents set unrealistic expectations when adopting a rescue dog. Most shelters and organizations talk about the 3-3-3 rule.
It helps set realistic expectations by breaking down the adjustment dogs go through into three phases. During the first three days, most rescue dogs feel overwhelmed and scared, and may not eat or show their true personalities.
By week three, they start settling in, learn routines, and feel more comfortable in the new environment. And by three months, they feel secure enough to show their genuine personality and bond with the family.
For Dottie, it took longer than three months. But her forever family had the patience to allow her to become comfortable in the new home. What a happy ending for a truly lovely story! And her owner said it best: "She learned that we love her and that we will never hurt her. Everyone deserves a second chance."

Mischievous Frenchie's 'Punishment' Backfires Spectacularly and It's Too Perfect
Ever tried to teach your dog a lesson and it completely and spectacularly backfired? Yeah, this Frenchie just figured out how to get rewarded for mischievous behavior and it's hilarious.
Here's what happened: This adorable French Bulldog got caught eating his mom's underwear. Classic Frenchie move. His punishment? Coming to work with mom at her hair salon so she could keep an eye on him all day.
Sounds reasonable, right? Monitor the troublemaker, prevent future underwear incidents, maybe he learns his lesson.
Except there was one small problem with this plan: the salon has clients. And those clients have hands and laps. This particular Frenchie loves attention.
@katebarone_salonLife of a toddler Frenchman #hair #salon #frenchie #frenchiesoftiktok #merle
⏠Ballerina - Yehezkel RazThe video, posted with "Life of a toddler Frenchman," shows exactly how this "punishment" played out. POV text reads: "I ate mom's underwear so I had to come to work to be monitored. And I am an attention whore so I won't leave the clients alone."
Spoiler alert: he absolutely did not leave the clients alone. He became the salon's most popular employee. Mom's trying to run a business while her Frenchie's out here making friends and getting pampered by every single person who walks through the door of the salon.
Related: Mom Thought Her Frenchie Was ClingyâThen She Met His New Puppy 'Super Glue' Bestie
The comments section immediately recognized this as the worst punishment ever conceived. "I'm gonna tell my stylist to get a bulldog to sit in my lap while I get my hair done cuz this is heaven," wrote one person who's clearly onto something.
Someone else noted, "It adds to the experience," which is absolutely accurate. Getting your hair done with a Frenchie in your lap sounds like premium service.
"Omg I would love to hold a Frenchie while at an appointment âșïžâșïž" added another commenter, speaking for literally everyone.
The best comment? "That's top-notch customer service!"
Because yeah, this Frenchie just accidentally revolutionized the salon experience. Mom thought she was keeping an eye on her adorable little troublemaker. Turns out she brought in the best marketing tool ever.
Why Do French Bulldogs Eat Underwear and Is It Dangerous?Let's talk about why dogs eat underwear in the first place. Dogs explore the world through their noses, and underwear smells very much like their favorite humans. Even clean underwear has lingering human scents that dogs can detect because their sense of smell is so incredibly powerful. They're drawn to items that smell familiar and comforting like their family members.
Other reasons include boredom, anxiety, curiosity, or just being a puppy who chews everything. Some dogs will just chew and play with fabric, but others actually swallow it.
Here's the serious part: eating fabric can cause gastrointestinal obstructions, which require immediate vet attention. If you catch your dog eating underwear (or socks, or any fabric), contact your vet right away. They might be able to induce vomiting before it becomes a bigger problem.

Prevention is pretty straightforwardâkeep laundry in closed hampers, put clean clothes away immediately, and give your dog plenty of exercise and enrichment so boredom doesn't turn into underwear-eating.
As for this particular Frenchie? His "punishment" turned out to be his best day ever. Mission failed successfully. Mom's monitoring him alrightâmonitoring him become the salon's biggest star.

These cookies' main ingredients are pretty simple: wheat flour, ground flaxseed, dried egg, and peanut butter. Of course, they do have salt, dextrose, sodium bicarbonate, coconut oil, and sunflower oil to help hold it all together. If you are dye-conscious, rest assured that Trader Joe's has your back on that front as well. The company derives the color for the delightful decorations from vegetable sources such as green tea, dehydrated beets, turmeric, beta-carotene, and dried purple corn. They also use caramel coloring.
Each treat is about 54 calories, so if your pup is watching their figure, you may want to give half. While your pup won't be happy you're breaking up their snacks, it will make the bag last even longer! If you're wondering whether this is a soft or a hard cookie, you will be happy to know they take a middle-ground approach, according to pup parents on the Trader Joe's Reddit. The group consensus is that they are very similar to the Halloween and Christmas treats. So smaller and older dogs may need them broken up into smaller bites, while larger, younger pups may do fine with them whole. No matter how they get them, your pup is going to be thrilled.

Bold Orange Kitten's Funny Antics to Impress Older Resident Cat Will Make You LOL
Leo, a self-assured orange kitten, is entertaining viewers by trying his bizarre best to impress his new older sibling, Motley. His clumsy jumps and over-the-top moves earn him plenty of laughs, while Motley remains unenthusiastic and a little apprehensive of the gawky creature.
Leo, like most underclassmen, just really wants Motley to think he's a cool cat, but sadly, his attempts at friendship are painfully -- and hilariously -- awkward. He gracelessly enters Motley's space like Kramer from Seinfeld and does a sideways pounce onto the older cat's head. Motley responds by trying to put the kitten in his place, but his authority is met with more of Leo's upside-down and backwards attempts at companionship, as well as uncontrollable laughter from the humans behind the camera.
@k8december12Motley and Leo meeting for the first time. (Leo is the baby)
⏠original sound - KateAnd the comments on this video are just as funny as Leo's antics:
"Heâs giving him the old razzle dazzle," jokes one viewer.
"Heâs fighting for his life for no reason," laughs another.
"Itâs great how the big cat is so unbothered by the half an orange octopus attacking it," echoes a third.
It's so true: Leo's flailing, outstretched limbs are just like orange, fluffy tentacles. He's a tiny, terrible Kraken with his sights and paws set on Motley.

Bringing Home a New Feline SiblingIntroducing a new kitten to an older cat isnât usually love at first sight â and thatâs normal. Adult cats are creatures of habit, so a sudden newcomer in their territory can feel stressful. The key is patience and preparation.
Start before the kitten even arrives by setting up separate spaces, litter boxes, food bowls, and bedding so your resident cat doesnât feel their resources are being taken away. Calming pheromones and keeping your older catâs routine consistent can also help reduce anxiety.Â
The actual introduction should happen slowly. At first, let the cats smell and hear each other through a closed door rather than meeting face-to-face. After about a week, allow brief, supervised interactions and reward calm behavior (hear that, Leo?!) with treats and praise so your older cat starts associating the kitten with positive experiences.Â
Some hissing or swatting is expected â thatâs how cats set boundaries. Over time, most cats learn to peacefully coexist, and some even become close companions. The biggest mistake is rushing the process. Slow introductions almost always lead to a smoother relationship.
Given how patient Motley seems with his overly eager younger brother, we're hopeful that their relationship is a positive one from here on out.

Orange Cat Chooses Violence the Moment Dad Tries To Leave for Work
There are clingy, needy cats⊠and then there are cats who treat your day job like a personal betrayal. This Orange Cat falls squarely into the second category. Every morning, Dad reaches for the doorknob, and you can practically feel the tension build. The Orange Cat is already stationed by the door like a tiny, furry door bouncer. He starts crying. Loudly. Not a subtle âplease stayâ meow. A dramatic announcement that this departure will not be happening if he has anything to say about it. And then he launches.
Not a polite paw tap. Not a gentle nudge. A full jump and arm grab. Tiny orange body wrapped around Dad like a fluffy protest sign that says NOPE, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
@brandonnn00xxEvery morning same routine đ€Ł #orangecatbehavior #fyp #cat #clingy #catsoftiktok
⏠original sound - brandonnn00xxTikTok user @brandonnn00xx captioned the clip, âHe wonât let me go to work,â which honestly feels like an understatement after witnessing the commitment level here.

Thereâs something about an Orange Cat committing to chaos that feels almost expected. They donât half-do anything. They escalate. Quickly. The comments absolutely leaned into that narrative.
âBro just saved you from two car accidents and a tree falling on you.â
âHe saved you from something.â
âI would send that to my boss and stay home.â
âI wish I had someone who loved me this much.â
âThis would have me BAWLING on my way to work.â
One person even spoke on behalf of the cat: âIf I canât be an outdoor cat, neither can you.â
Which honestly? Fair.
Meanwhile, my kitties barely blink when I leave. They donât even look up. There is no dramatic door blocking. No emotional speech. The only time they register my absence is when no one is sharing snacks. Suddenly, Iâm important. Funny how that works.
When Meatball was younger, he used to sit near the door like he was supervising my departure, not stopping it. Very managerial energy. No grabbing. Just judgment. Which somehow feels worse.
This Orange Cat, though? He is fighting for his person. Or at least fighting for the routine. Hard to say.
Also, Iâm not saying I would interpret that arm grab as a divine sign to call in sick, but Iâm not not saying that either.

⏠original sound - Senior Cats & Cat Parent CareWhile some kitties protest your exit, most eventually settle into their day once youâre gone. That doesnât mean they donât appreciate a little extra stimulation.
Interactive toys, puzzle feeders, and window perches can help keep indoor cats mentally engaged while youâre at work. Rotating toys every few days also prevents boredom because kitties lose interest when the same object just sits there forever.
Leaving on soft background noise, like a TV or calming music, can help some cats feel less alone. And making sure they have access to vertical space, such as cat trees or shelves, gives them more territory to explore during the day.
The good news? Even cats who act completely offended by your departure are usually perfectly content once the door closes. And the reunion when you return? Thatâs where the real drama lives.
Unless, of course, you have an Orange Cat who plans to stage another protest tomorrow morning. In that case⊠good luck.

Pet Parents Are âSo In Loveâ With This Clean Pet Care Brand Thatâs Better for Your Fur Baby and the Environment
Parade Pets aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
It might surprise you to know that when it comes to pet grooming products, the federal regulations are pretty lax. While there are rules that dictate how products should be labeled, whether those guidelines are actually enforced is a separate issue. For the most part, the federal government views pet grooming products as voluntary cosmetics or grooming aids. Therefore, thereâs less regulatory framework in place to ensure your pooch is safe. While itâs generally accepted that a company would take care in creating products for such a vulnerable population as our pets, the responsibility is essentially shifted onto us as pet parents to ensure that the products weâre using are safe.Â
With that in mind, more and more pet owners are searching for clean alternatives they can trust that promise to keep their fur babies and the environment safe. Brands like Earth Rated, WagWell and Black Sheep Organics all focus on creating natural, non-toxic grooming products that you can feel confident in using to keep your four-legged companion squeaky cleanâat least for a moment. As great as all those brands are, though, thereâs a new clean pet care brand on the market that has fur moms and dads falling in love, and itâs the first-ever pet grooming brand to be EWG Verified.

Introducing: Lil Luv Dog, the clean pet care brand made for modern pet parents. Despite launching just six months ago, this buzzy new brand has already generated a dedicated fanbase, notably making its way into Kendall Jennerâs FWRD edit as a featured product. The brand was created by Cara Santana Leto and Stephanie Sunganami, who created the environmental activism platform Future Earth. In keeping with that background, the duo set out to create Lil Luv Dog, promising âclean pawsâ with âless waste."
Dry Shampoo, $36 at RevolveSo far, the brand has only launched dry shampoo in cactus flower and oat scents, but weâre positive that weâll see even more product categories launch soon enough. The dry shampoo is formulated as a powder that you simply shake onto Miloâs coat and pet to rub in. Because of the shake-and-fluff application method, the dry shampoo is formulated without alcohol, parabens, common allergens or artificial ingredients, and its packaging is compostable and recyclable. Additionally, if you purchase the on-the-go sachets, you can conveniently dissolve them in water.
View this post on InstagramNot only is the entire line cruelty-free, vegan and FSC-certified, but itâs the first pet care brand to earn the distinction of being verified by the Environmental Working Group. That means that Lil Luv Dog products have been third-party tested to verify that not only are its products safe for your pup, but theyâre safe for the environment, too. You can be confident that using Lil Luv Dog means that there is no known cancer risk, no developmental or reproductive toxicity, no known eco-toxicity risk and that its products are hypoallergenic for you and Fido.Â
As if all that wasnât enough, Lil Luv Dog also donates a portion of every purchase to organizations that help unhomed dogs find their furever homes. Talk about being a brand with morals. The TL;DR of it all is that Lil Luv Dog is the clean pet care brand to watch. And who knows, maybe weâll see more brands start to follow their lead. What products do you want to see Lil Luv Dog launch next?

UPS Driver âFighting for His Lifeâ Against a Flock of Wild Turkeys Is Pure Chaos
You know that moment when you hear commotion outside and peek outside your window, assuming the worst? One Connecticut-based TikTok user did exactly that, except she quickly realized it wasnât a neighborhood brawl. It was a UPS driver battling a flock of wild turkeys.
In a now-viral TikTok posted by @hindy007, which has racked up 5.6 million likes and more than 75,000 comments, the on-screen caption reads: âI thought someone was fighting outside. Itâs just the UPS man fighting for his life from the turkeys.â
And honestly, that feels like a fair assessment.

A UPS Delivery Route Turned Obstacle Course @hindy007#crazyturkey #connecticut #ups #fightingforhislife #fypageă·
⏠Jackass theme - Saltyapple3The clip shows the UPS driver hustling between apartment doors, trying to complete deliveries while several extremely determined wild turkeys sprint after him.
At one point, he lets out a few choice expletives before declaring, âNow I gotta get back,â (meaning back to the safety of his truck).
He makes a break for it. âMade it!â he exclaims, laughing hysterically as he climbs back into the truck, clearly relieved. The turkeys gather outside the truck, gobbling and pacing like tiny feathered security guards.
âYou all need to back up,â he tells them. âIâm 40 years old, I canât be dealing with this!â

But this stop isnât complete yet. âOne more,â he says, psyching himself up before grabbing another package, tucking it under his arm like a football and sprinting once again as the turkeys bop right behind him.Â
At one point, he comes face-to-face with the birds, yells âdeuces!â and sprints back toward the truck, letting out a victorious âwooooo!!!â once he makes it safely inside.
The entire ordeal is filmed from the creatorâs second-story apartment, giving viewers a perfect birdâs-eye view of the chaos. Throughout the clip, laughter from behind the camera can be heard, and millions of people are laughing right along with her.Â
The Internet Is Losing ItCommenters had a field day.
âThis man needs to be paid for a commercial promoting UPS,â one person wrote in the video's comment section.
âIâm dying. you can tell he's having the best and worst time all at once,â added another.
And perhaps the most accurate summary: âYour package has been delivered under sheer panic and terror.â
Do Wild Turkeys Attack Humans?ÂWhile this encounter feels like a comedy sketch, wild turkeys can actually become surprisingly bold around humans, especially during breeding season, when males may act more territorial. In suburban areas where theyâre used to people, they sometimes approach, chase or posture aggressively.
Actual injuries are rare, but getting chased across a parking lot while clutching a package? Definitely possible.
In this case, the UPS driver handled the situation with speed, humor and some impressive sprinting skills.
Rain, snow, sleetâŠand now turkeys.

'A Weighted Blanket With Opinions'âBulldog Mom's Hilarious 'Product Review' Has Everyone Dying
A cute TikTok is going around where a bulldogmom reviews her English Bulldog like it's a product she ordered off Amazon, and it might be the most accurate description of bulldog ownership ever recorded.
Walter the English Bulldog is the subject of this "honest review," and his mom is not holding back. The caption says "This video is NOT sponsored part 2," which already tells you where this is headed.
She starts strong: "This is the 75-pound extra-large model. I've had it for quite some time now, so I feel like I am pretty qualified to give you this review."
Then comes the iconic line that has the entire internet nodding in agreement: "First honest impressionsâa little heavier than originally advertised. I ordered something sturdy, not necessarily something that feels like a weighted blanket that has opinions."
@walter.the.englishbullyThis video is NOT sponsored part 2đ€Șđ€Șđ€Șđ€Șđ€Șđ€Șđ€Șđ€Șđ€Ș
⏠original sound - WalterA weighted blanket. With opinions. If you've ever known or loved a bulldog, you're already laughing because it's absolutely perfect.
She goes through the features like she's writing a consumer report for the Better Business Bureau. The material? "Very wrinkled exterior, tons of folds, which is absolutely great for texture, but with that comes a lot of weird smells, so it requires a lot of consistent cleaning."
The detailing? "Aggressive. Every wrinkle does seem very intentional, but it's also very dampâlike everywhere I touch is just always wet."
Sound quality? "Extremely loud. It snores, it barks, it breathes, and just there's so much noise that comes out of it."
There's apparently a built-in slobber system that cannot be turned off. Performance is "extremely inconsistent"âsome days zero movement, other days absolute chaos.
The smell "always reverts back to its factory settings" no matter how much cleaning happens.
Related: Stubborn Bulldog Puppy Discovers Snow and Dad Quickly Learns What 'Full Potato Mode' Means
But then she drops the best feature: "The garbage disposal feature. If we're done with our food, if there's some scraps lying around, it's gone. Don't even think twice about it."
Battery life? "Sleeps for long periods of time and then randomly recharges, and it's extremely violent."
Portability? "Zero. Couldn't hold it for more than five seconds."
After listing every possible complaint, she hits us with the finale: "Despite all of that, it is probably one of the most favorite things I have ever owned. It is so soft, it is so loyal and cuddly."
Final rating? "Solid 10 out of 10."
People in the comments lost it. One person broke down their own rating: "Maintenance 1 star, Cleanliness 1 star, Cost of ownership 1 star, Doing anything dog related 1 star, Overall rating 5 stars."
English Bulldogs Really Do Need Constant Maintenance and CareHere's the thingâthis "review" is funny because it's true. English Bulldogs genuinely need daily attention to their skin folds to prevent infections. Those wrinkles trap moisture, creating the perfect environment for bacteria and yeast if not properly cleaned and dried.
The snoring and loud breathing? That's real too. Bulldogs are brachycephalic (flat-faced), which causes breathing issues and makes them prone to overheating.
đ¶SIGN UP to get âpawsitivityâ delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friendsđŸđŸ
They're also legitimately heavy and stubborn, making them challenging to move when they don't want to cooperate. The "inconsistent performance" thing tracksâbulldogs can be lazy couch potatoes one minute and chaotic tornadoes the next.
But ask any bulldog parent if they'd trade theirs, and the answer is always the same: absolutely not. Ten out of ten. Would recommend. Despite literally everything.
'Crispy' Senior Cat's Sweet Way of Asking New Foster Mom for Attention Is Everything
Being a foster parent to a cat is such a beautiful thing to do, especially when taking responsibility for the times in their lives when they need a little extra help â like kittens who have been separated from their mother or a senior cat who is living out their final years.
One brave foster mom has taken on the challenge of both, and while bottle feeding the kittens she's caring for, her senior cat can't help but butt in just a little bit when he feels like he could use more attention.
@whiskstowhiskersI foster both kittens and super seniors and there is nothing quite like the love of the crispiest senior cat. â€ïž #seniorcat #cat
⏠original sound - Christina HaOn Saturday, February 14, @whiskstowhiskers shared a video of the way that her senior cat asks for her attention while she's busy with the kittens... with the gentlest taps and the tiniest meows. Who could ignore a request like that?
"I foster both kittens and super seniors and there is nothing quite like the love of the crispiest senior cat," she wrote.
It's easy to see just how right she is. This old man has plenty of love to give!
Related: Senior Cat Full of Gratitude After Being Rescued From Shelter Given Most Fitting Name
Fostering Senior CatsFostering kittens and caring for senior cats are two whole totally different sets of responsibilities, so it's extra impressive that this mom is able to do both!
But if you'd like to foster a senior cat, there are a few things you should be prepared for going into the experience. According to ASAP Cats, senior cats will need extra care that you probably wouldn't have to provide to a younger cat, especially when it comes to mobility. They may need extra help getting in and out of the litter box or getting up and down from tall surfaces, and they may require a special diet or method of feeding as they age.
The time investment in fostering a senior cat may also be greater, since you'll likely need to dedicate more time to more frequent vet visits and check ups, and be game to provide medicine and other medical care that they may need.
Fortunately, it looks like this sweet cat is very well loved â even if he does ask for even more attention! He's definitely not the first cat to soak up all the pets he can get.

Cat Loves Sitting Next to Washing Machine Just to Hear 'The Song of Her People'
My cat has always been a big fan of laundry (except when the time comes to fold it and put it away, of course) and I know she's not alone in that. Plenty of cats could be entertained by the washer and dryer for hours... and apparently, that only becomes more true if you happen to have a set that plays music at the end of a cycle instead of a loud alarm.
Not only has the cat in the video below discovered this for herself, but she's also realized that the little song that plays when the load is done is pretty catchy. Who could blame her for rushing into the laundry room?
@evelynharris_wCat Olympics, anyone?#cattok#fyp#cat#litter#litterbox#petpivot#AutoScooper#petpivotfamily#petpivotcattok
⏠original sound - evelynharris_wOn Friday, February 13, cat mom @evelynharris_w shared this sweet video of her kitty posted up next to the dryer, completely mesmerized.
"She will sit next to the washing machine for a full cycle just to be able to meow at it when it sings the song of her people," her mom wrote.
To be fair, it's actually more like she's singing along (and what a beautiful voice she has, too).
Related: Ragdoll Cat Stops Everything To Admire the 'Other Cat' in the Mirror
Some Cats Really Love Washing MachinesThe kitty in the video is hardly the first to be fascinated by a washing machine â and most cats don't even need that jaunty little tune to be intrigued by them!
Between the noise and the ability to watch the clothes go around and around as they're getting clean (if you have a front-loading machine, of course), it's very entertaining to stand by and watch it all happen, not to mention how warm laying on the top of the dryer can be!
Dryers are also very warm, and offer a secluded hiding spot that cats are really drawn to, so if your kitty has access to the laundry area in your home, just make sure to double check the dryer before turning it on or before closing the door when you're unloading the machine. Some sneaky kitties can end up in the drum, which obviously spells bad news for everyone involved.
Don't be surprised if they try to snuggle up in your clean laundry when it's fresh out of the dryer, either â it's so cozy, how could they possibly avoid it?

Golden Retriever Refusing to Get Out of Bed at 10:00AM Is a True Unbothered King
Reef the Golden Retriever is all of us hitting snooze âone last timeâ and then realizing itâs⊠10:00 a.m.
In the TikTok video, Reef is still in bed, head sunk into the pillow, eyes half open in the most gloriously grumpy way. His human gently narrates the scene while the caption calls him what he clearly is: a full-blown âsleep-in-aholic.â He is not just resting. He has chosen the bed life. One commenter absolutely nails the collective mood, writing, âI would go to war for him.â Honestly? Same.
@reefthegolden_itâs 10am by the way #reefthegolden #goldenretriever
⏠sparks - welcomeNothing about Reef says âgo-getter Goldenâ in this moment. Heâs not bounding to the door or dropping toys on anyoneâs head. This is soft-quitting the morning. If you told me he had an oat milk latte and a weighted blanket on backorder, Iâd believe you.
And yet, underneath the comedy, thereâs something deeply comforting about seeing a dog this relaxed. He feels safe enough to ignore the world and take his time waking up. No rushing, no anxiety, just vibes and a duvet. Plenty of us could use a page from Reefâs morning routine.
Dogs actually sleep a lot more than we doâoften 12â14 hours a day, and even more for big breeds or young, active pups. Good-quality rest helps them recover from physical activity, process their day, and show up as the happy, zoomy goofballs we love. Reef might look âlazy,â but in reality, heâs just leaning into his natural rhythm. And maybe accidentally starting a self-care movement.
Of course, if a dog suddenly starts sleeping much more than usual, seems low-energy, or doesnât perk up for meals, walks, or playtime, that can be a sign somethingâs off, and itâs worth a chat with the vet. But a seasoned nap pro like Reef, who still eats, plays, and enjoys life? Thatâs just a king prioritizing his REM cycles.
View this post on Instagram Let Dogs Have Their Beauty Sleep (Like Reef)Reefâs stubborn commitment to staying in bed is hilarious, but itâs also a good reminder that dogs genuinely need a lot of rest to stay healthy and happy. Many adult dogs sleep around half the day, and large breeds or very active pups may snooze even more. What matters most is their overall energy, appetite, and interest in life when theyâre awake, not whether theyâre up at the crack of dawn with us.
The American Kennel Club notes that changes in sleep patternsâlike suddenly sleeping much more, pacing at night, or seeming unusually restlessâcan signal stress, pain, or underlying health issues and should be discussed with a veterinarian.Â
So if your pup occasionally channels Reef and decides the day can start after 10:00 a.m., that might just be their way of recharging. As long as theyâre bright and happy once theyâre finally up, thereâs no harm in letting them hit âsnoozeâ on life now and then.

Sweet Cat Returned to Rescue for Being 'Too Affectionate' Will Steal Your Heart
Animals in shelters and rescues long for a home. Unfortunately, there are times when a dog or cat is returned after adoption and they have to overcome rejection and loneliness all over again.
M.K. is a 7-year-old cat who was brought back to her rescue for an unusual reason, and now she's hoping for another chance at a happy ending.
@essingtonroad.aniMeet M.K.! She is around 7 years old. Sheâs very independent but loves affection when itâs given. She is an only cat household. She was born with a jaw defect but that doesnât stop her cuteness! It does not cause any pain or discomfort. She just needs a home to call her own! #fypă·ăviral #foryoupage #adoptdontshop #catsoftiktok #cutebaby
⏠snowfall - Ăneheart & reidenshiThe feline fur baby is currently staying at Essington Road Animal Hospital in Joliet, Illinois. In the TikTok from @essingtonroad.ani, M.K. quietly sat on some blankets as a staff member jiggled a cat toy in front of her, hoping she would play.
"Poor girl has been brought back to us several times for being 'too affectionate'," the onscreen text revealed.
M.K.'s white fur with areas of black and tan gave her a beautiful look. The pretty kitty had a somber expression on her face, as if she were losing hope of finding a permanent home. The caption described M.K. as a wonderful addition for families looking to have a one-cat house.
"Sheâs very independent but loves affection when itâs given," the caption shared. "She is an only-cat household. She was born with a jaw defect, but that doesnât stop her cuteness! It does not cause any pain or discomfort. She just needs a home to call her own."
A follower asked why being too affectionate would be a problem. "We couldn't understand that one either," the TikTok creator responded. "She's simply the best."
Can a Cat Be Too Clingy?Felines have a reputation for being overly independent and aloof, so it's rare that a cat is labeled "too affectionate". Yet there are clingy cats who give and seek out attention more frequently than their fellow fur babies.
Excessive affection from a cat can be due to anxiety. Cats that were previously abandoned or lived part of their life as a stray may need that additional reassurance and closeness to help them feel safe.

Stress can also play a role in your kitty wanting those extra cuddles and kisses. A change in routine or their environment can cause uncertaintly, where they look for extra comfort.
M.K.'s revolving residences would create strife for most animals. Hopefully, she will soon get a forever family that provides her with all the affection she craves.
